Guest Reviews
- Michelle (8/5): Great location and better than expected - Great location for Cedar Point. Bathroom needs towel hooks above toilet.
- Ferris (10/5): Clean, good proximity to parks and outside restaurants. Quiet, nice staff. - Nice location, center to a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was welcoming. No line for check in, quiet the entire night no loud hallway traffic and the walls were not super thin like other hotels All was good
- Anthony (9/5): -
- Emily (9/5): -
- Kelli (5/5): See above; large hotel but very outdated, old and not kept up with. My room had a bad odor. - Plenty of parking is about the only thing that I liked It was old/outdated
My room stunk
Staff was mediocre; looked at my driver's license and said oh... your from wv (i wasnt sure how to take that)
- K7528GMrobertr (10/5): Decent room - Previous reviews are accurate. There’s nothing special about this hotel. But my review is based off 3 things. Location, quiet, cleanliness. All three of those boxes were checked, so I have no reason not to give this hotel. 5 starts. My visit was in May in the middle of the week during a weekday so there’s no reason why my room shouldn’t be clean with minimum people occupying space. I have better experience at the room than I did in the park.
Good luck
- Shelby (8/5): Great budget hotel! - Great budget hotel! Clean, safe, and friendly staff. And can’t beat early entry to the park! My only complaint is you can hear everything in the hallway and outside the window. Someone was outside shouting very late at night which was disruptive. But this is no fault of the employees. I would still undoubtedly stay here again
- Shonette (10/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Jesse (4/5): Somewhere close to stay at cedar point but not worth the cost. - The location to cedar point. Room was dirty, pubic hair on the toilet seat, mold in the shower, even some hair on the comforter. Also, waited almost 30 minutes in line to check in to the room. Will not recommend this hotel.
- Angela (10/5): Perfect for family stays - Great stay Na
- Andrea (10/5): Relaxing -
- Taylor (5/5): - The close proximity to the amusement park. The outdoor pool open late. First night we didn’t have hot water. We checked out and had to re check in to a different room for the week. The 2nd room we stayed in 1 night and the next morning woke up to ants crawling all over our bed, table and infants diapers. The splash pad was broken most of the time so our toddler couldn’t even play in it.
- Chad (10/5): Early entry for the stay is great especially going during Halloweekends where crowds get big. - Location was just 2 minutes from cedar point! No breakfast
- John (1/5): -
- Alicia (6/5): Over priced and underwhelming - Close to cedar point amusement park Funky smell from room AC, beds are extra firm and fridge was warm. Had to park in the dark back of property and walk outside to get into side entrance. Almost $200 a night, no breakfast and hotel convenience store didn’t open till 9am. Staff was busy on their phone instead of interacting with customers
- Jeffrey (6/5): For the price, we expected more - Location was perfect
Staff was courteous and friendly No soap/body wash...empty both rooms
While my room was ok...my friend's room had many bugs and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a while
- Jackson (8/5): Everything was perfectly fine and good just would’ve liked more blankets. -
- Beth Anne (7/5): A nice easy stay at a decent hotel - Close to cedar point. Clean rooms. Nice staff I wish you had more breakfast options and vending machines. We got there and all of the adjoining rooms were taken. That was ok just wished we had gotten one.
- Sierra (5/5): Good place to sleep - Modern and location Got stuck in elevator and pool was dirty
- Jason (8/5): -
- Justin (1/5): Highly recommend replacing some staff making some renovations and compensating your guest. - Absolutely nothing and it started with the check-in. The receptionist was very unwelcoming, she displayed obvious annoyance while searching for my reservation, it was a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately the check-in was awful. The room could not get any worse however, my friend and I were very displeased. Booking this hotel online was quite deceiving. The room was a joke, zero star or perhaps -5 start if applicable. Reminded me of a AA motel, the beds certainly need to be replaced, unless you enjoy feeling a box spring mattress in your back, the diner table and chairs were an absolute shock. For the amount that I paid, this is a disgrace, and I definitely would never recommend this to anyone of my friends or family, I was basically robbed. What a disgrace.
- Troy (8/5): Good family trip. Would book again - Easy acess to cedar point. Friendly staff Used zyn puches on bottom of lamp in room. Never was cleaned by room service after 2 nights
- Alida (6/5): This property is nice but not worth the additional cost. - The staff were very nice. The room was clean. There are very few amenities. Parking in the park is not included.
- John (10/5): -
- Cal (6/5): -
- james (8/5): -
- Ashley (7/5): good value - Proximity Beds
- Harry (10/5): We enjoyed our stay at a very nice place except for the pool problem and a fire alarm going off - Room was ready when we arrived Extra towels were gotten without a hassel Location was as good as you can without staying in the parking lot Life guards were over protected quit a lot - Pool was not crowded at all but a family of kids and their dad were throwing a small football around not bothering anyone and were told to stop, Then security was called for no reason My grandson was wearing a swimmask for over an hour with no problems then all of a sudden he was not allowed to wear it because it covered his nose A lot of people sitting around the pool said no fun allowed
- Holly (5/5): Not the best - Close to park Overall service, room wasn't cleaned and when we requested towels and tp , nobody came. We had to go to front desk for them.
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): - location for baseball tournament and cedar point parks
- Stacy (9/5): - Breakfast not included
- Joseph (9/5): -
- hsiu fang (9/5): - Check in process too long
- susan (10/5): -
- Louis (9/5): -
- Kimberly (9/5): -
- Genet (10/5): It’s the best and the right choice for my family to be there - All of it. I think it’s better if the hotel has breakfast Customers service, bedroom and swimming pools
- Anthony (8/5): -
- Evelio (1/5): -
- Akam (10/5): -
- Amber (7/5): - Very close to Cedar Point, recieve Early Entry to the park. Decent for the price. Good size room. The staff was great. The room wasnt the cleanest. Checkout was a long wait. Would be nice to have a designated line for guest checking out.
- Stacey (1/5): After my my stay. I realized it was a carpet beetle. DO NOT STAY THERE! The room rate is excellent, but has cost seve - The proximity to Cedar Point. I saw a beetle looking insect the morning I checked out.
- Roseann (7/5): -
- A. (2/5): - Unhelpful staff and management
- kelli (10/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): Would stay here again - Very clean N/a
- Michael (8/5): Exceptional and fun - The staff and location There wasn’t enough signs to tell me where the room was located.
- 357 (4/5): - Location Machine was down and did not get our discount drink n tickets to the parks
- John (7/5): EXCELLENT location for visiting Cedar Point - Great staff at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were really nice. Room was comfortable and clean. No breakfast, a little pricey.
- Eric (10/5): -
- Eric (10/5): - Very close to Cedar Point
- michael (10/5): - Stayed at Cedar Point Express for a Family Halloweekend getaway. The Area is beautiful, a 6 minute drive to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Room was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable and quiet. We will definitely stay here in the future.
- Brock (9/5): -
- Ken (6/5): - No blanket in the room
- Gordon (8/5): - Idk the laundry but the room seem pretty clean and the air worked good
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Ashley (8/5): -
- Tammy (8/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): - Clean room, Clean hotel, Comfortable beds
- Krista (10/5): - Nice gentleman at the desk
- Amanda (8/5): Great place to stay while at CP!! - The hotel is 9 mins from Cedar Point so that makes it super convenient if you're going to the Park. The staff was incredibly nice and check in was easy!!
They give you a pass for early entry so you can get into CP and hour before everyone. *I recommend getting to the park a half hour or more before the early entry starts bc people line up and wait*
Hotel was clean, rooms were nice. All the plugs in the room were loose. And in our room they only had maybe 2 extra plugs that weren't on the light or alarm clock which those didnt charge our stuff very quickly.
Having no free breakfast is a bummer and would be a great thing to add.
They do have some grab n go breakfast stuff but honestly I just recommend going to McDonalds right up the street. *order mobile or give extra time bc it gets BUSY*
- Darrell (10/5): - The room was very clean. There were 4 coffee pods which I enjoyed. The hotel is very close to the park which was great.
- Charlotte (10/5): - The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean.
- conley (3/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): - Room and bathroom met our expectations
- Jason (10/5): - Lamp on bed table was dusty. Also fan vent in bathroom needed cleaned
- Rachele (6/5): Nightmare Check In - The vent in the bathroom was filled with dust and lint. Not a good indicator of the air quality in the room. Checking in was a nightmare.
- Holly (6/5): This is a close location but I expected it to be cleaner for the price - Very close to cedar point. It wasn't the cleanest. Let's just say we had to clean out headboards before using the beds.
- La-Tonya (10/5): -
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Amanda (7/5): Good cedar point hotel - Very clean and close to cedar point Staff were rude. Not all but a few.
- Joanie (10/5): - Best place to stay when going to Cedar Point! Very, very close driving distance (about 5 minutes from parking lot) We love that by staying at Cedar Point express we can get into the park one hour early. The hotel is very well decorated seasonally, and impressively clean! The only thing that could make it any better would be if they offered a grab and go breakfast. They do have a small store/gift shop in the lobby with snacks and some fun souvenirs.
- Michael (10/5): - Really decent staff and cleanliness for the holiday event
- Lisa (10/5): -
- francois-charles (8/5): - Proche du parc cheddar point
Personnel très sympathique
Early entry gratuit au parc si on dors dans l'hôtel
- kellie (10/5): - Busy hotel, as expected since it’s next to the park. Rooms okay, expect intermittent noise at night because of drunks and parents who don’t parent. Disappointed that we had to argue for free Cedar Point parking because this is a Cedar Point-owned property and parking at the park has always been included—we’ve been coming annually and staying here for seven years and park parking has always been included. Ultimately, they gave us a parking pass, but the late night conversation and needing to call a manager was unnecessary.
- Zachariah (10/5): Okay, but meh - It's clean, there were four pillows, and a refrigerator, and a microwave, and that's nice. Someone tripped the fire alarm in the morning.
- Kurtina (10/5): - Very close to the park very clean also they have a pool.
- Sarah (10/5): Unexpected features - Nice stay. I was surprised to find an in room coffee maker (hotel pod, nothing fancy, but I was unaware they were provided). Brought our own in room breakfast and iced coffee. Another surprise was the pool was still open in September. We didn’t have time to enjoy it, but it was a nice option.
- Carla (10/5): - Great location, clean, comfy beds
- Jennifer (10/5): - 1st time booking a CP property and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was, great shower pressure, too. Would be nice if breakfast was offered, but overall def recommend and will book again.
- Gregory (10/5): - Two lovely days at The Point and Sandusky.Lovely.
- carol (2/5): - I checked in and found a bbq platter in my dresser that had been there for quite some time. Molded and bugs. Only open when cedar point is after Labor Day, so for many days. Did not have a remote either, which is only way to use the TV.
- Matthew (4/5): - First, after checking in, I got locked out of my room because the battery was dead in the key reader.
- Amy (4/5): Staff bad! Dirty room! - Staff at the front desk are horrible. They know nothing. Never have an answer to your question. They look at you like your a ghost. We left two things on our room. They called to tell us this, we were at Cedar Point. We left CP to retrieve them right away. We arrived at Breakers Express. Guess what after 2 hours looking for them no one could find the items that BE called us about.
Room was dirty. There is no way that it had been cleaned.
- Braeden (10/5): - Don’t shell out the money for breakers unless you are looking for a really nice vacation. This hotel will do the trick for those of you wanting quick and easy access to Cedar Point and it is overall just really nice.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Anna (7/5): Pretty good stay - Price and location of the hotel. Vending machines at the time of stay didn't work. We went on another floor for vending machines. They only had water inside them.
- Hope (10/5): - NA
- Thomas (8/5): - Only one elevator was working, but hotel was nice. Very large so long walks from the elevator to the room.
- Kocak (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - Cleanliness, location, early check-in. Distance from elevator to room. The comfort level of the bed was good, but not great. I didn't realize breakfast was included/available.
- Raymond (8/5): -
- Cody (10/5): Convenience! - Loved the early entry. Late check in was a great perk. 24 hour front desk is a game changer after spending an entire day at cedar point!
- Vanessa (10/5): - Great!
- Christina (10/5): - Clean, convenient & quiet
- William (10/5): - Clean and very accommodating
- Cheri A (10/5): - Clean, convenient place to stay when going to Cedar Point
- Ryan (8/5): - The hotel was decent. The staff was outstanding, friendly, and accommodating.
