Alpacas roaming freely n the front yard and the Giraffe at the back balcony. An unforgettable experience. The sofa bed was alittle uncomfortable 😐. main bed was great

You have access to view the enclosure anytime. The food was top quality. We were first down for breakfast and the lion was still in her cave. She growled good morning to us and then went down into her private area. The tour of the zoo was very informative and interactive. Nothing

- Margaret (Maggie) (10/5): A once in a lifetime experience you'll want to do again and again - OMGosh!! If I could give it a 20/10 I would have! This place is AMAZING! And the experience is like no other!!
We stayed in one of the lodge rooms and it was absolutely exquisite... the price may look expensive but it's ALL included... food, drinks and access to the zoo and aquarium on both days (before and after room access). We felt like royalty with our 'secret entrance' and it was nice to roam just before and after everyone else got there. (During light hours)
I went with a group of 4 for a surprise for my friends 40th birthday and they gave her a teddy and a cake! It was such a fantastic experience, such beautiful memories! And even better... we can't wait to go back!! It felt time went too quickly lol

- Lynette (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Our room, the amazing food, yummy wines, the other guests, all the friendly staff, but most of all, the animals... Our toilet in the Meerkat room didn't full flush, and the shower taps were hard to turn off to stop dripping. Also, our TV didn't work when we first checked in? The lovely staff got it sorted while we were at dinner.
- Sophie (10/5): Great experience - Fabulous stay in the Giraffe room Nothing
- Brooke (7/5): A unique experience but not luxury - Many of the hospitality staff at the Lodge seemed inexperienced. The food was nice but having nervous staff serve it doesn’t make for a luxury experience.

- Gil (10/5): Exceptional - Contact with animals - Greet the Cheetahs, patting a Rhino and a python Loneliness of 'hybrid' tigers. Maybe desex the make hybrid tigers and try socialising the hybrids together - apart from pure breed species.

We were celebrating a milestone birthday, and it really felt like the whole team went out of their way to make our stay memorable, even though I’ve learned this is just Jamala’s standard for service!
We loved every aspect of our stay, from our brilliant guided tour with Cooper, our exceptional accommodation in the giraffe tree house and very special encounter with Sky and Khamisi, the incredible afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast we enjoyed and our chance to experience the Zoo before everyone arrived in the morning.
This was a bucket list experience, but I’m pretty sure we’ll be back!

- Farooq (8/5): Great experience to celebrate a special occasion. - Great experience to celebrate a special occasion. Given the cost (not cheap) would have been nice to have had one or two more extras like the cheetah experience included as part of the package. Also a fair few people were celebrating birthdays, while it was marked with the dessert, a little extra fuss would have been nice to make the birthday people feel special.
