Sonia (2/5): Avoid & book elsewhere - Queen bed room very very small. Bathroom completely flooded when showering. Room looked out onto the dirty laundry bins. The Continental Breakfast bakery/pastry selection, which looked wonderful in their listings, consisted of approx 5 pieces of bread. Price wise I found (in retrospect unfortunately) that the room tariff for my stay which was $157, was on a par or more than other accommodation in the Gosford area, The term "Budget" is a misnomer. Very disappointed.

We stayed in a really tight room with the smallest bathroom we had ever seen (flooded over after every shower). The view of our square window was just the hotel carpark and bins.

Sally (5/5): The Ibis Gosford is a basic hotel with basic provisions. - The location was close to the hospital and Gosford railway station. We had to ask for bath towels as forgotten by Housekeeping staff. A face washer, hand towels and shampoo products not provided.

Lewis (1/5): Overall miserable. - staff were friendly. Aircon was broken, continuously started blasting heat every 30 minutes and was kept awake the whole night. The rooms near by were also up drinking and loud well into the early hours of the morning. Charging almost $170 for a hotel that located outside a McDonald’s almost 10 minutes from the train station with broken facilities isn’t only steep, but pretty misleading. Tracking it’s an ibis budget, but if you cant even provide a comfortable sleep for a paying customer, probably address these issues.

When you showered, the entire bathroom floor was full of water. If you wanted to use the toilet you would be standing or sitting with your feet in water. Doors opening and closing within the floor at all hours of the night at 3am are far too noisy..

Price point is too high. Hotel has car park of fast food outlet next door and surrounded by retail/industrial. Family room was not suitable in size for people moving around in room.
