Corinne (7/5): En dessous de ses étoiles - Un problème sanitaire nous a fait changer de chambre et nous avons été surclassé après insistance Cet hôtel dispose de nombreux équipements de confort mais n’est pas confortable au quotidien : pas une seule chaise dans une suite avec pourtant un grand salon de 5 places, pas de lampes de chevet, éclairage de la salle de bains tellement tamisé qu’il est impossible de s’y maquiller. De même une grande piscine mais avec autour juste quelques chaises en métal et 5 ou 6 transats en lattes de bois sans matelas. Petit déjeuner répétitif et décevant même si le personnel est souriant mais très limité en anglais.

Вы не в центре, это скоре плюс чем минус, у вас через дорогу свой пляж, чистый и просторный. Неплохой завтрак. Достаточно большие номера. Еще раз, это настоящий сетевой отель с сетевым сервисом. Хорошим, сетевым ,отельным сервисом. Если вы самостоятельно передвигаетесь на байке, не ищите больше ничего. Это лучший вариант в ХойАн по соотношению цена/качество. Возможно в скором времени нужно освежить ремонт, но не сильно критично. все еще выглядит достойно, Мы осознанно выбрали этот отель, до брони на букинг, у нас была возможность зайти в отель и посмотреть номера

Adanos13 (9/5): Abandoned Resort - And that is a good thing - Super quiet "far from everything" place, if you look for some silence in Vietnam - this is the place. Superb view to the river. Carpets, so no one will make noise dragging furniture Still could hear some noisy neighbours in the bathroom, a slight mold smell but healthy enough for 1 night stay, breakfast is the worse I ever saw in an hotel but i didn't expect anything from it anyway :D Just order some banh mi in Grab for 25k and you are good
Grant (8/5): Much better options nearby - The hotel was a good hotel but unfortunately the area has declined since covid and does need some repairs and revamping. Both our showers didnt work when we arrived and they did fix them straight away. There is a great pool with only a few chairs and the beach is a very short walk across the road. Cua Dai beach town is a 900 metre walk away, too short for a grab taxi and a little far too walk in the sun. The staff are very friendly and our breakfast was very good. The location is just too far from restaurants and cafes too walk and it is in need of a revamp but I dont think they are getting enough customers to pay for it.

Roxanne (9/5): Amazing Staff and huge comfy room! - The hotel wasn't perfect by any stretch but the reason for the high score is down to the staff. From the moment we entered they went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. So kind and welcoming! They helped us with motorbike hire and onwards travel but the highlight was presenting me with a Birthday cake which was totally unexpected! Thank you so much Thao and the rest of the team! We also had a huge suite which had beautiful river views and bed was comfortable ! Lovely pool too! Great value for money and location was spot on for those wanting to be close to the beach. Despite the fantastic staff, the hotel did have an empty feel to it and lacked in atmosphere but not a deal breaker for us. The breakfast wasn't great either and finished at 9am which was too early.

Ha Nhi Julia (1/5): Disappointed - We tried their restaurant at lunch and were the only people there. Waited 40 minutes for the food and when it came, it was no good at all. Breakfast was also bad with just some food and not many options. We were there 1 hour before closing. Many people working but everything was empty and it feels weird for us guests to tell them to refill everything. They offer bike rental 100K VND/day but there were never any bikes available. We asked all 3 days we stayed with them. They also offer to borrow umbrellas but they were "finished" all 3 days also. This even though it was low season. There were not even many guests at the hotel. And for such a grand hotel, how can bikes and umbrellas not be available? Our toiled had some leaking which made the whole floor wet.. They offer no shuttle bus or transportation service. Which was very inconvenient since the hotel is placed at a place where it is not near anything. They told us to call a taxi ourselves. Says they have a private beach, but when we got there. There were no sunbeds. It was a few on the beach offered by other people and they all costed money. When we checked in, they said we had free water in our room. But when we checked out, they asked us to pay for the water. They also told us to sit and wait while they check the room during check out. We sat on their sofa for 15 minutes and waited. Many staff there saw us but no one asked if we needed any help. After we waited 15 minutes (and also our taxi driver) we went and asked them if the room was OK. They said "yes, it is okay and you can leave". Very upsetting experience, as they asked us to wait, saw us waiting for so long and still didn't give us the information that we could leave. Bad staff and bad greetings. Not recommended.

What a wonderful service. The pool is big and nice! And the location is peaceful. Breakfast is till 9am - kinda strange, would be good to have it at least till 9:30am. THOMAS (8/5): - This is a nice hotel right across the street from the beach. The breakfast buffet was diverse and adequate if not great. My only real "complaint" is that there are no close dining options, and everything is a bit of a walk or a necessary taxi ride away. The area looks like it was once conceived as a great tourist area, but never fully developed. Lots of empty lots surround the hotel, and it looks even more rural than one expects. It's about a 10 minute taxi ride in to Hoi An from here, but taxis are easy enough to hail through an appropriate app. The swimming pool is large and well cared for. My son and I enjoyed the pool and facilities very much.

Ashley Glenn (8/5): Could improve on a few things. - The best part about my stay is the staff and the view from my room. The hospitality is impeccable. However, the a/c wasn't blowing much cold air, or any circulation for that matter. I had to ask the front desk for a fan after the 2nd night (I was staying for 4 nights) because it was just too hot in my room. The.taxis had better airconditioning. The bed was also hard. I don't normally complain about hard bed but because my room felt like a sauna, it added to the discomfort. It must be mentioned that the old town is 20 mns away so you would need to taxi there if you need to. Around the resort there are not much option for dining either. I still do like the resort I just wish they had better airconditioning.
Marta (5/5): very underwhelming - it was very quiet, close to the beach and the pool was so nice we had a lot of problems with the jacuzzi in our suite, which was the whole point of our booking :) the staff was not very welcoming or service oriented. also on booking they claim that they speak english here and that is false. we struggled a lot with communication. the breakfast was nothing to brag about and there was no atmosphere at the hotel! it felt like an abandoned hotel. for some reason the laundry service was ridiculously expensive..? we didn’t like our stay that much and the hotel has a lot to work on.
Janette (4/5): Disappointing stay, basic hygiene not catered for, no hand soap or hot water. - The staff were nice. Booked 2 rooms but neither rooms had any hot water even though we raised this matter daily. No hand soap, had to use tubes of shower gel, no bedside lights and neither safes in the rooms were working. My safe was repaired after 2 days. Meant to stay for 8 nights but left after 4 nights. We stayed in Hanoi, Ningh Bingh, Vue and Hoi An. This by far was the most expensive hotel that lacked the basic facilities expected of a hotel. We stayed in much cheaper and more basic hotels in Vietnam which excelled in our expectations. The staff were nice but overall our stay at the Mount Thanh was very disappointing. Still waiting for Booking.com to answer my last 3 messages I sent regarding our stay.

The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and always ready to assist with anything we needed. My husband and I have been in Vietnam for three months, and this was by far the best service and guest care we’ve encountered. A special thanks to the lovely chefs and restaurant staff! While the breakfast menu is 90% traditional Vietnamese cuisine (with a small selection of vegetables, omelets, and bread), which might not entirely suit European tourists, they went out of their way to offer bacon and sweets every morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The personal touch they provided really stood out. A huge thank you also to the wonderful ladies at reception. We experienced an issue with the internet in our room, and after calling reception to report it, a technician arrived within five minutes to fix the problem. Their efficiency and attentiveness were truly impressive. The hotel’s location is also worth mentioning. You can easily get to the beautiful city of Hoi An for just 100,000 VND, directly to the city center—a fantastic perk! One minor downside, however, was the slow internet. For someone like me who works online, it was a significant inconvenience and forced us to delay our plans for a week. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the exceptional service and attention to detail. Thank you to the entire team for making our time so enjoyable!

Skurnik (10/5): Lovely hotel! - The hotel was so clean and the staff were so lovely and friendly. They greeted us each time we left and each time we returned. The breakfast was fantastic and the chef was so sure our requests were met, when asked if there is anything we would like. He came to our table each morning for a chat and to make sure we were happy. Cu, the Events manager, stopped and chatted each time he saw us, and took interest in our day. The room was an amazing size and so comfortable. We were right across the street from a lovely beach and enjoyed a sunrise swim, and the pool was lovely and refreshing. It is quite a distance from Old Hoi An town, but catching a grab is easy and only 80-100K. Would definately stay there again! It was a little quiet, a little more atmosphere would've been nice.
Michael (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - I had an awesome holiday at this location. Each day for breakfast, the staff personally gave me bacon that wasn't on the menu for others. Food selection was fabulous. All staff members were very courteous and wanted to ensure your stay was pleasant.

Geri (9/5): Our stay was good but we prefer smaller establishments. - Excellent breakfast buffet, the hotel caters to tourists groups, large bus loads of tourists. Nice pool. The bathroom facilities were not ideal for seniors or anyone who may have any physical disabilities. You have to climb into and out a high bathtub and hope you don’t slip. There is only a partial glass and a partial shower curtain to prevent water splash. It is poorly designed and water leaks onto the floor.

Their English communication was terrible and really only catered for the Taiwanese/Korean. The food in the restaurant was terrible and breakfast was equally as bad. Our stay had breakfast included but after the first morning, we ate out.

The breakfast provided caters well to Western tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The pool is also very comfortable, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing swim. Furthermore, there are additional facilities such as a ping pong table and billiard table, which provide entertainment options for those looking for a little fun. The lobby is spacious and provides a great area for waiting and relaxing. Considering the price and the level of service offered, this hotel is truly a perfect match. I highly recommend it for families, as it provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Moreover, the hotel's location is convenient, as it is not too far from the old city. A quick and reasonably priced Grab ride, costing around 100K dongs each way, will easily take you there. Overall, the hotel offers a fantastic beach, great amenities, and an excellent price-to-service ratio, making it an ideal choice for families or anyone looking for a memorable stay in the area. I did notice a couple of areas that could use a little improvement. Firstly, I would like to suggest fixing the swing in the swimming pool. While it looked nice, it wasn't bolted properly, which could potentially be a hazard for users. I simply wanted to bring this to the attention of the hotel management so they could address. Additionally, I noticed that the lobby could benefit from having air conditioning for a more comfortable welcome. Alternatively, having some industrial-rated fans to circulate air would also be a great solution. These are just small improvements that can easily be addressed by the hotel. Please bear in mind that these suggestions should not deter you from staying at this incredible hotel. They are minor details that I believe can be easily fixed, and I regret not having had the opportunity to share them directly with the managers during my stay. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this hotel, and I can't wait to return. The wonderful service and helpful employees truly made my stay memorable. I highly encourage others to experience the exceptional qualities of this hotel, while keeping in mind these minor suggestions for improvement.

Great Place to Stay. - My favorite hotel in Cua Dai Beach for quite a few years, very clean with room serviced every day, restaurant staff are attentive to every request and they serve delicious breakfast's. The pool was sparkling clean and fresh beach towels provided whenever you needed. I really enjoyed my morning walk and swim at the beach each day just across from the Moung Thanh. Thanks to my good friend C U Tran for all your excellent service. Returning again in August 2023. Nothing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great breakfasts. Some renovations were ocurring during our stay which would be finished now. The hotel offered us a room change on account of the noise which was good.

It is a short $4 cab ride from Hoi An Old City where the hustle and bustle is. The staff was very friendly and helped us anytime we needed them. The breakfast buffet was a 9/10. The manager bought us frsh fruit o our table each day. We soend time in their nice pool. All in all, I give this hotel 9.3/10. Would stay here againa and HIGHLY reccomend.

Verified traveler (6/5): Misleading photos of the beach - We booked this hotel because we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend a couple days on a quiet beach. The photos show a ‘private beach with sun loungers’. This is NOT the case. There is a small beach across the street, but the only sun loungers are a couple at the far end for another hotel (you cannot use them without paying, and it’s not cheap). We used the hotel pool instead and it’s was ok. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
