• Subhkaran (2/5): - My family and I recently stayed at this property, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We had several issues that significantly impacted our stay. First, we called the hotel a few days prior to our arrival to inquire about alternative parking options due to anticipated Maha Kumbh traffic. We were surprised to learn that the hotel does not have its own parking, despite advertising free parking on Google Maps. They offered a nearby chargeable parking option instead. The availability of free parking was a primary reason we chose this hotel, as we were traveling with our own car. Second, we called the hotel multiple times (approximately ten attempts from different phones and they have only ONE contact number) shortly before our arrival to request directions, but no one answered. This was incredibly frustrating and only added to our growing concern. Upon arrival, we were told that we had no reservation. This was completely untrue, as we had booked through Expedia. The staff initially denied our booking saying that they haven't accepted the booking from Expedia until we showed them the Expedia confirmation by their end. After a lengthy and unpleasant exchange, the hotel eventually provided us with a suite and a standard room which was far different from what we paid for. We compromised , as we had traveled a long distance and were exhausted. We had also already prepaid for the original rooms. Overall, I cannot recommend this property. The staff

• vernon (2/5): Never Divine , only stay away . - Hated all of it every second . The 1st night bad room . There are no windows smelt of damp. Moved rooms not much better no windows in both . Never cleaned our room once . I had to get towels, toilet rolls. Empty our own rubbish . Went to 2 hotels 4 star to try booking there they were full. Could not wait to leave . Breakfast waiter asked for tip. I said ive asked for porridge you cant be bothered, im not giving tip . Varanasi great place . Never would recommend this hotel to know one it was bad .

• smilergee (6/5): Good central position, needs to be managed better. - The hotel is in an excellent position, just a five minutes walk to the river. There is a lift for all five floors. The rooms have what you need but my room had now windows and the air conditioner didn't work. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work either so after a hot shower the whole room was hot and sticky. The bathroom was a 'wet room' so after a shower the floor remains wet. The manager in the restaurant is bossy and he does little to ensure that things run smoothly. He even changed my order without question stating "there is no chicken with cashewnuts so I have ordered chicken with ginger for you", without even asking me. At 7:10 am there was no-one in the retaurant and the cloths on the tables were dirty. In reception they charged me the wrong amount and had to telephone my room to ask for more money. The hotel just needs better management and some running repairs and then I could rate it 3.8 out of 5.[
• SUDHEENDRAN (2/5): Worst Experience and duping customers - For a frequent traveller like me the recent stay at Divine Destination was one my worst experiences. With a confirmed booking through Hotels.com for 2 Classic AC Rooms with amenities like rooms with city view and measuring 140 sq.ft . refrigerator, minibar, coffee maker etc., my actual experience was totally disgusting. On check in I found that we were allotted two small box size rooms of 10x10 ft. size without any match with the confirmation. Forget about city view, mini bar, coffee maker etc , there was not even a window or the room except for a “ faked window” with a glass permanently fixed on the wall and there is no opening at all! . And there is an indoor unit of an AC which always shows 26 degree display and and I sincerely believe that this is also a” faked AC” for duping the customers. And the toilet is hardly 3.5x 6 ft. and never seen a EWC of such a small size and a corner wash basin of 8 inch size. Funny part is that the hotel has again fixed a “faked ventilator grill “permanently fixed on the wall of bathroom but it doesn’t have any openings outside. There is no table available except for a plywood piece fixed on the wall and no space to keep luggage and we kept the baggage on the bed. The second room was allotted on 4th floor adjacent to the kitchen and you have to bear the smell and sound till late night. It is understood that the rooms are standard rooms instead of Classic AC. Staff behaviour is rude and they never responds to your queries.
• Zuleika (4/5): Could be worse - I booked a deluxe room, they gave me a very small one, all covered of dust, the sheets very dirty, I have to ask for an extra towel to put over the pillows to sleep, very noisy, you won't be able to sleep after 7 am, after I submitted my checking review they try to change our room, we was sleeping, they never said why, when I checked my email I realized that they answered my review. Probably we should change to the room that they offered but we already slept in that disgusting room for one night so my point is they should gave to us the room which we pay for, they need to stop to try take advantage of tourists. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
• Darcy (8/5): Cozy Rooms Close to Ghats - Stayed two nights in January 2017. The hotel is located along a busy road not too far from the ghats and comprises three floors of a larger building. The hotel seemed to be more geared towards domestic business travelers than international honeymooners. The building was easy to find and the room itself was cozy, but with quirks. The washroom/wet room didn't drain well and there was no squeegee to direct the water toward the drains after a shower. A quick phone call to the desk and the staff came to quickly sort this out. The A/C in the room didn't work unless you held down the button, but luckily it wasn't too hot given the time of year. The food was delicious but we were brought incorrect items twice and one of the restaurant staff on the phone didn't seem familiar with the term "room service" and sent someone to clean when we tried to order lunch. They didn't have naan until dinner time and a few other menu items were unavailable at certain times of day or entirely. Eating in the restaurant itself, the staff sat and stared at us while we ate, but again the food was very tasty. The staff were very helpful with directions in the local area. A morning boat ride along the Ganges was easily organized as there was someone there at 6am to walk us down to the ghats. There was construction above us and down the hall, which was frustrating at times, but we would be interested to see how the building looks once the renovations are completed. Air quality in Varanasi is awful.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Has potential to be a great hotel - Handy to the ghats, could be cleaner,jugs and coffee pots need a good scrub also resturant could have clean place mats on tables. Staff very friendly and try their very best. They have a new garden which will look great when finished. I think this hotel could to excellent but needs staff to pay more attention to cleaning rooms really well. Also it wouldn't take much to make the resturant look cleaner wiping chairs and maybe recovering them.
• Kimberly (8/5): Generally very good hotel except breakfast issue - This hotel is within walking distance from Dashashwamegh Ghat, and in the middle of the very busy area. The room is small but well maintained and reasonably clean. The staff is very responsive when any requests are made for towels and questions are asked. In Expedia, all the rooms come with breakfast included, but the restaurant upstairs refused to honor it, because their copy of our hotel voucher apparently did not include breakfast. I had to argue with restaurant manager, staff, and hotel front every morning and still got charged for breakfast when checking out. I observed another gentleman from the United States having the same issue at the restaurant. If Expedia and this hotel straightened out this breakfast issue, I will rate this hotel higher. However, the food itself at the restaurant was good. I ate Oasis Special Thali twice, which was excellent for 200 rupees.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - 部屋が狭くてシャワーが使いづらかった。タクシーやリクシャーのチャーターも自分では危険だからとしてくれたり、困った時に相談したらフロントの人が助けてくれました。
• Duane (8/5): Great location in varanasi - Although this may seem a mediocre hotel, for the price it was great. The room service was friendly and Indian breakfast satisfying. I forgot I had to pay cash to settle the account so a staff member helped me find an ATM in my last minute panic to settle and catch a train.

• Verified traveler (2/5): 入住要小心很差 - 小酒店，几乎没有优点可言。预订的时候显示包含早餐，打印的单子也显示包含免费早餐，当天吃早餐的时候问服务员也说早餐免费。可气的是，我们吃完了，拿单子来收费，说早餐要单独收费。太过分了。身处这种地方也懒得理论了，看起来就不是什么好人。没多少钱算了。之后入住的客人要小心
• kai (8/5): ダーシャシュワメード ガートに歩いて通えます - ガートの中央付近にあるメインガートのダーシャシュワメード ガートに歩いて行けるので立地的に非常に良いホテルです。 また２つの火葬場や黄金寺院も近いし、とにかく立地が良いです。私は毎朝5時くらいにガートに通いましたので、このホテルにして本当に良かったと思いました。ホテルマンの人たちもとても優しかったです。 ただ私の借りた部屋は標準でエアコン無し設定だったらしく（※仕様にちゃんと明記されてたみたいですが私が見ていなかったのです）、エアコンあるのに電源が入りませんでした。エアコンありにしたいと伝え、400ルピー/日を払ってエアコンをONにしてもらいました。普通に使えますので心配はありませんが、申し込み時に一応チェックしてください。 若干クラクションの音がうるさいのが最初だけ気になりましたが、私は疲れていたので爆睡してました。
• SAMUEL (4/5): No fue el mejor - Un hotel básico y sin una gran calidad ni en sus habitaciones ni en el restaurante. Se puede elegir para descansar un poco alejado del bullicio. Nos cobraron demasiado por llevarnos al aeropuerto.
