Les chambres sont magnifiques, l'accueil chaleureux, le personnel serviable et aux petits soins ! Tout le monde est gentil et attentionné. Dat er mensen zijn die het over 3 tegels hebben die los zitten in het zwembad en moeilijk gemaakt kunnen worden omdat het zwembad leeg moet snap ik niets van want alles ziet er zo mooi uit daar kan geen hotel tegen op die sfeer wat dat Hotel heeft 1 groot krekel paradijs Met hele aardige Nederlandse eigenaren Daar kan je niets bedenken wat beter had gekund

The resort very kindly opened breakfast early for us upon learning our tour started at the time breakfast would normally begin. The pool was very nice. The staff were particularly helpful for which I am grateful. The lock on the door was unusually difficult to work and caused difficulty. It would have been appreciated if the air conditioning had been a tad more powerful/cooler.

Vriendelijk personeel, comfortabele kamers en een mooi zwembad Die paar tegeltjes terug vastkleven in het zwembad zou het helemaal af maken. (Stoorde niet, maar wel jammer tov de rest)

- Condit (10/5): Battambang Resort: Beautiful location with excellent service. - The setting was lovely, a group of small buildings surrounding a small lake. Each room was spacious and comfortable with a large private outdoor area. The most exceptional thing about the Battambang Resort was the friendly and helpful staff from the owner to the housekeepers. We had a wonderful experience and almost felt that we were part of the family. We didn't notice any deficiencies.

We vonden het stadje zelf niet veel voorstellen dus des te belangrijker dat het hotel top was.. en dat was het! Ik kan werkelijk geen minpunt bedenken.. ga hier ook vooral genieten, neem een massage, eet en drink! Alles is goed! Het enige minpuntje was dan de afstand naar t centrum. Maar goed… dat staat ook op hun site dus is bekend. En ze hebben gratis tuk tuk service

The staff gave us the method to pick our own mango and watched us enjoy picking our own mango off the tree then eat it. It was so quiet and peaceful to just lay on the hammock and take a nap Plus the food on site was so good The resort is a little outside the city BUT easy access to transportation. To be honest being outside the city had a lot of advantages

Dalla receptionist (che ci ha seguito in tutto ed offerto la possibilità di conoscere la città attraverso una guida) ai servizi di trasporto (tuk tuk gratis per il centro), alla camera sul laghetto dotata di ogni comfort e perfettamente arredata, ogni dettaglio ci ha fatto immergere nella magia di un luogo senza tempo.

Ich habe netterweise ein Zimmer Upgrade mit Blick auf den See erhalten. Vom Zimmer kann die Fauna und Flora bestaunt werden. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist liebenswert und aufmerksam.

- Magalie (10/5): Exceptionnel - Magnifique hôtel isolé de la ville pour être au calme ! Le personnel a été très serviable pendant le séjour. L’hotel dispose d’un service de tuktuk (gratuit 1x par jour pour aller dans la ville). Il propose également des tours pour visiter les alentours de Battabamg que je recommande vivement (grotte de la mort, grotte de chauve souris, train en bambou etc .) Le restaurant était très bien. La piscine hyper agréable surtout a la tombée de la nuit. Nous avons adoré notre chambre !

I would especially like to highlight the service of the staff, and in particular Sreynuo, who was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful in planning our stay. The experience simply wouldn’t have been the same without her :) The water pressure in the bathroom was very weak and didn’t work properly. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special.

- Alison (10/5): Paradise! - Read it was 3 1/2 stars…needs to be 5 stars! We are travelling around SE Asia and this was our 12th hotel: the best! So relaxing! We didn’t want to leave! Staff friendly, kind and helpful with very good English. Rooms big/comfy with fridge/free waters, good shower, kettle/tea/coffee. Patio/robes etc. Adult daughter got her own suite for no extra cost. Towels in fancy sculptures; fresh flowers. Every day got free 1 way tuk tuk ride. Free bikes. Discounted mini golf across road (fun/Cambodian themed), free rice wine and costumes/jewellery to wear discounted ($3 per adult and the young woman who works there is a superstar! Stayed late to fit us in!). Best bit are the grounds! Big pond, swing and beautiful pool (swam at night at 10 pm and still warm). Lounge chairs very good; great cocktails. Food fab! Breakfast included for us: lots on menu to select plus allowed extras. Had dinner there: good prices/really delicious. So lovely to dine by pool under stars. Grow their own veg (can walk and see it).

- Laurence (9/5): Je recommande vivement pour le cadre enchanteur avec piscine et jardin et les chambres vue lac qui sont superbes ! - Le cadre incroyable dans la verdure, les arbres mais aussi la chambre (vue sur le lac): déco recherchée, très soignée, la petite terrasse privée + la grande piscine, l’eau très chaude ! Le fait de pouvoir dîner ou déjeuner sur place car un peu loin du centre (mais facile d’y aller en tuktuk). Le prêt de vélos est agréable pour se promener dans la campagne environnante et ses petits hameaux à côté dont l’ancienne maison à visiter de Mrs Bueun. Rien, mis à part les transats au bord de la piscine qui commencent à dater un peu.

- Marjolijn (10/5): Heerlijk tropisch en goed verzorgd resort! - Het Battambang resort wordt gerund door Jan en zijn vrouw Phary en dat doen ze fantastisch! Ze hebben een team van stafleden die ontzettend zorgzaam zijn en aan alles denken. Het zwembad is groot en heeft aan de ene kant een ondiep stuk en aan de andere kant een diep gedeelte met zelfs een bubbelbad. De tuin is zo mooi! We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het hotel zowel aziatisch als westers. Jan laat zijn eigen bier brouwen (aanrader) en schenkt lekker rosé wijn! Het is iets verder uit het centrum maar dat is eigenlijk wel fijn. Ze bieden ook gratis een tuk tuk naar het centrum aan! Eigenlijk beviel alles dus!

Our room was very clean with single beds as requested. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast was nice and more than adequate. As Aussies, we love our breakfast cereal. Would have loved to have that as another option for breakfast but that's a very minor thing and only our choice.
- Keith (9/5): Wonderful peaceful location, lovely staff and great facilities. - We had a great stay at Battambang Resort—an excellent hotel with a peaceful setting just outside the town. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling off, and the rooms were spacious and well-maintained. We stayed in both garden and lakeview rooms, and would definitely recommend going for the lakeview if available—much nicer outlook and atmosphere. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was tasty. A small note: portions at lunch and dinner could be a little more generous. We also had a minor issue with electricity in one room, but it was fixed very quickly by the staff, which we appreciated. A lovely bonus for families was the mini golf course—our kids loved it, and we ended up playing three times! As for Battambang town itself, we weren’t hugely inspired by it, so wouldn’t recommend spending too long there. The resort, however, was a real highlight—calm, welcoming, and a great place to relax. Would definitely recommend for families or anyone wanting a quieter base with great service. Two minor points - portions in restaurant could be improved along with speed. Breakfast also was a buffet and it could be a better experience to deliver the menu you have displayed.
- Michael (7/5): An oasis of calm and a good base to explore the sites of Battambang and area by Tuk Tuk. - The hotel is a beautiful setting with a lily pond and big swimming pool with the lake view apartments surrounding the lake. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. Very good food and portion size in the restaurant. The hotel is out of town which is very clear in the description. This provides a calm oasis from the bustle of the centre of Battambang but might not suit all. Nothing - enjoyed staying there and nothing to be negative about.

Def the perfect stay for any nature enthusiasts. Their Nombachok has been the BEST I’ve had this whole stay, and they owner is so sweet and constantly went around to check on everyone’s stay/breakfast ♥️ The pricing for food and drinks were also great compared to other stays! Reception was so sweet and helped us coordinate some tours and even our 6 hour drive to Sihanoukville! This hotel was definitely one of our highlights of our stay in Battambang! Highly recommend ♥️
- Constance (10/5): Une petite perle à Battambang ! - Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Battambang Resort ! C’est un petit établissement avec très peu de chambres, ce qui garantit calme et intimité. Le personnel est tout simplement exceptionnel : souriant, serviable, toujours prêt à aider, et parle très bien anglais. Ils mettent gratuitement à disposition des vélos, ainsi qu’un trajet en tuktuk par jour pour rejoindre le centre-ville, situé à environ 10 minutes. Un vrai plus ! Les chambres sont impeccablement tenues, avec une architecture et un design vraiment magnifiques – un mélange parfait entre confort moderne et charme local. Un lieu plein de charme, à taille humaine, qui mérite d’être découvert. Une vraie petite perle à Battambang ! RAS

- Guillaumediver (10/5): Très bonne surprise ! - Hotel parfait ! J'avais réservé un peu au hasard en me fiant aux commentaires sur Booking, et je n'ai pas été décu, bien au contraire. On aurait aimé rester une ou 2 nuits de plus. C'est un bel endroit, calme, propre, bien entretenu. Notre chambre était confortable et spacieuse. La piscine est vraiment sympa (surtout quand il fait 40°). La cuisine proposée était excellente (je recommande la Banana Flower salad with chicken). Rien !

- Daniel (10/5): A peaceful oasis - The Battambang Resort is located only a short distance from the city, but it seems like miles away. It is a peaceful oasis with a pond, swimming pool, and trees and flowers everywhere. The staff was attentive and helped us with transportation and local tours.
