• Alain (6/5): - Emplacement faca a la mer mais ma chambre sonnait sur la rue et il y avait beaucoup de bruit le soir et la nuit. On entend aussi le train qui passe.

Vaut la peine de prendre avec la terrasse pour être en front de mer en plus plus calme car un peu de bruit de Manutention tôt le Matin dans la toute petite ruelle. Minimum au au troisième étage du bâtiment de derrière car au deuxième la vue mer est moins impressionnante, on est a peine en dessus des bâtiments de l’hôtel en front de mer.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Hallo Zusammen, zunächst: Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung und man kann dort eine gute Zeit verbringen. Normalerweise spiegelt sich der Zustand eines Hotels / eines Zimmers anhand des Badezimmers wider. Meistens sind lockere Türgriffe und lockere Toilettenbrillen kein gutes Zeichen (was hier beides zutraf), allerdings hat sich das glücklicherweise nicht weiter durchgezogen. Pluspunkte: Sauberkeit war gut ( regelmäßige und schnelle Reinigung) Die Klimaanlage hat tadellos funktioniert und auch nicht gerochen Die Zimmergröße war in Ordnung Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist gut Warmwasser ist ausreichend vorhanden Die Lage ist SEHR gut. Negativpunkte: - Offenbar darf in allen Zimmern geraucht werden, sodass dieser auch in das eigene Zimmer zieht (Zumindest wurde es gemacht) - Das Zimmer lag in einem separaten Gebäude ca. 300 m entfernt von der Rezeption - Dadurch, dass man nicht im Hauptgebäude war, gab es kein W-Lan (mittlerweile ein Muss als Standard). Damit hat man auch keinen Zugang zu dem im Hauptgebäude bekommen. Die Rezeption hat es als selbstverständlich gesehen und nicht weiter begründet. - Es war zwar ein Safe vorhanden, dieser war jedoch verriegelt. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption, war die Antwort nur, dass man da jetzt auch nichts machen kann (etwas mehr Bemühen wäre passend) - Das Rezeptionspersonal ist insgesamt nicht überschwänglich und beherrscht nur sehr schlecht Englisch. Frühstück okay, aber 12 p.P. zu viel (nicht Continental)

• Jimmy (8/5): Très bien. - Accueil chaleureux ! L’hôtel est très bien situé. Dans la dépendance ´Située à 50 mètres environ de la réception, le wifi ne passe pas bien. Ça tombe bien, je n’en avais pas besoin, mais mieux vaut le savoir. Le chambres sont propres, même si le sable arrive toujours à s’immiscer, ce sui est normal puisque la plage est très proche. C’est un bâtiment ancien mais qui a été restauré, donc le confort et l’équipement sont satisfaisants. Merci Encore pour l’excellent accueil et la disponibilité du personnel. A bientôt j’espère.

• Sharron (10/5): Great hotel - Hotel Serenada was great, the rooms were comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed, kettle, air con and great sea views. The staff were great, welcoming and helpful - I would especially like to say that Sylvie who worked there and also did breakfast was amazing, she was so friendly and absolutely brilliant at her job. The location was perfect - Algajola is more quiet than the other towns on the coast - it is between Calvi an L’ile Rousse which are lovely places to visit but are more commercial and busy and we loved going back to Algajola where there were plenty of great restaurants to chose from The train takes you along the coast and is quite cheap but it is busy and on a hot day it’s much nicer to jump in a taxi with air con for a bit more money. We went on a boat trip with Corsica and Boat - the hotel helped us book it and we met them in the next bay just 5 minutes away. Transfers from the airport can be expensive, we booked a car for £108, even if you only use the car for transfers you are saving a lot of money in taxis of hours on the train. We stayed in the annex of the hotel just a short walk down the road which didn’t bother us at all but one thing that didn’t impact us but might some people is that there is no WiFi there - only at the main hotel if you have teenagers it might be worth paying extra and staying in the main hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and myself would love to visit Corsica again.

Hosts were very nice and considerate. Plenty of parking space.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés dans une chambre supérieure avec balcon avec vue sur la mer (au lieu de chambre confort vue mer) très spacieuse et confortable et bénéficiant d’une salle de bain avec douche italienne. La situation de l’hôtel en bord de mer est exceptionnelle et la mise à disposition de transats sur la plage est un plus ! Nous avons été séduits par ce charmant petit village et par ses restaurants.

• Mark (6/5): Annex could be better with a little effort - We were booked into the hotel’s annex, about 120m away from the main building. Good bits first: Room was bright, quiet and immaculate, cleaned and made up daily. Very good bed and bedlinen (but mediocre pillows). Nice shower room. Very good sea views. If we’d only slept here 1 night, we’d probably rate it as Very Good. But this is a seaside resort, we lived here for a week, and the room’s not been set up for long-term guests: Inadequate storage (one shelf and no drawers), no seating other than the bed, a kettle provided but no cups available, no WiFi. Sun-beds are free to the (3-star) main hotel guests, but the (2-star) Annex users have to pay. Serenada’s website says very little about the Annex, does not mention different star ratings, and gave us no clue that we might expect the above shortcomings. On balance, not terrible but at over 100 euros/night room-only in June 2017, not value for money.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Hübsches Hotel am Sandstrand - Wurden sehr nett und hilfsbereit empfangen. Im großen und ganzen sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Super Lage, kleine aber feine Zimmer, sehr gutes F - Das Hotel ist zweigeteilt, einige Zimmer sind gleich am Haupthaus, einige ca. 150 m entfernt. Darin hat man entsprechend kein WLAN, aber das kann man beim Frühstück, Abendessen oder am Strand ausreichend nutzen. Unser Zimmer lag nicht im Haupthaus, dafür aber ebenfalls direkt am Wasser, sodass man in der Nacht das Meeresrauschen geniessen kann. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber sehr sauber und mit Fön und Safe ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut, kein riesiges Buffett, aber französisch und abwechslungsreich mit frischem Obst, Ei, Joghurt, Schinken, Käse, Müsli, Saft, Kaffee, Tee, Croissants, Crepes, Toast und Marmeladen. Die Küche ist mittags und abends geöffnet und sehr zu empfehlen. Frischer Fisch und Muscheln, aber auch sehr gute Salate, Vorspeisen typisch französischer Küche... Die Rezeption hatte für uns zur Anreise extra lange gewartet, uns sehr freundlich empfangen und rumgeführt. Das Personal spricht Französisch und Englisch.
• Gerard (8/5): Calme et volupté. - Quatre jours de repos dans un hôtel les pieds dans l'eau dans la magnifique baie d'Algajolu. Bains de mer et de soleil et une vue superbe. Personnel très sympathique, d'une grande gentillesse et très efficace. Un petit séjour de vacances qui a complètement répondu à nos attentes.
• Nicola (6/5): PECCATO LA GESTIONE. Colazione ottima - Non ho apprezzato affatto la mancanza del wi fi in camera, solo perché separate dalla struttura. L'unico wi fi dispinibile era quello della hall, ma non ci hanno lasciato stare lì oltre le 21:30 perché dovevano chiudere. L'accesso però è consentito a chi soggiorna nella struttura principale. Quindi ci hanno fatto sentire clienti di serie B. Per il resto colazione fantastica sulla terrazza e spiaggia adiacente bella a comoda.
• Luc (8/5): - We stayed in a great mini suite directly in front of the sea. We were in an annexe building that a short walk away from the main building. The building itself is slightly old but very confortable and close to excellent restaurants.
• philippa (6/5): Unacceptable business practice - The hotel and the town are nice Except !!! They needed our large room for another guest ,so they took it upon themselves to pack up all our stuff and move us to another room with out permission. We had a lot of professional camera gear harddrives etc of value. This was totally unacceptable! Beyond this we had eaten in their restaurant that morning and booked sun lounges on their beach and they had our French phone number. So absolutely no excuse. They gave us some story about the housekeeping taking it upon themselves to do this and then another excuse about our booking and lower rate etc. we paid the same rAte for all nights. The bathroom drains in both rooms smelt.
• David (10/5): Superb friendly beachside hotel - We stayed in the annexe (not 60 m) but just over 200 m away, but this was not too much of a problem as the walk was along the sea front past other hotels and an old seamanship chapel. You go to La serranada for the location. It's right on a beautiful beach with beautiful views. The service, especially from the ubiquitous Maria was excellent. The breakfast, extensive and served to your table was first class, but why charge an extra 2€ for this? Either include in the price or charge an extra €8-10, which would be it's true value. We stayed 6 nights. The first in a small room on the first floor. - not very good! But we're then moved to a lovely spacious room on the second floor. We wee advised that our first room was the last available, so again this was not a problem. The small town is great and 5 mins walk and the locality fantastic. Altogether we loved the place and would love to go their again
