- GENEVIEVE (2/5): Nous avons annulé le petit déjeuner vu la qualité du repas du soir et le tarif. - La situation au cœur de la bourgogne, le village, l’extérieur du château. Le dîner (peu de choix, le plat gras et rance, pas à la hauteur des tarifs, une assiette de fromages de mauvaise qualité), le prix exorbitants par rapport à la qualité du service et du confort, le manque de personnel de service, la température dans la chambre, la présentation générale des chambres et de la salle à manger. Tout est à refaire.

Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. La chambre supérieure était propre mais manque de décoration, plutôt froide et ordinaire. Nos amis avaient réservé une chambre standard et il n’y avait pas de différence pour le prix. Pas de possibilité d’avoir ou acheter un repas léger ou collations sauf au bar mais choix très limité…

La décoration authentique de la salle à manger est impressionnante. Le SPA est complet et le jacuzzi est chaud. Le service du bar et du restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles: pas d'amuse-bouche, pas de service de vin au cours du repas. Au bar, le personnel n'accorde pas d'importance à faire acte de présence. Manque de musique. Pas de carte de boissons proposée.

O próprio cliente prepara o seu suco de laranja, em um extrator de suco muito charmoso. O restaurante do hotel é muito bonito e as comidas são muito bem elaboradas. Gostei de tudo.
- Trine (5/5): Nedslidt slotshotel med rigtig god beliggenhed. Ikke valuta for pengene. - Beliggenheden er i top. Udvendigt en utrolig smuk bygning. Ok hundevenligt. Hotellet er generelt meget nedslidt, bortset fra badeværelserne, og er på ingen måde valuta for pengene, omend det ligger prismæssigt højere end andre slotshoteller i området. Trist morgenmad og ikke noget personale til at følge op på kaffeautomaten, når den var ude af drift. Skuffede forventninger i restauranten. Bøf menu på kortet var ikke tilgængelig på en onsdag, og det var en af de anbefalede vine heller ikke - burde ikke fremgå af kortet. I øvrigt ingen pynt på bordet, dårlig belysning. Ingen betjening i baren, som i øvrigt lukkede kl 20 på en tirsdag. Hotellet skal åbenbart renoveres - det forstår vi godt. Man bør nok overveje, om man rent faktisk vil drive hotel frem til lukning. Det virker ikke som om lysten driver værket.

Beautiful property with plenty of amenities The only issue we had was with the staff in the dining room who all appeared to be unhappy in their roles and were not very friendly. We arrived for a drink before our meal and were ignored until we eventually had to find someone to ask.

Miłym zaskoczeniem były świetne herbaty, które można było sobie zaparzyć w SPA. Przy wymeldowaniu w recepcji naliczono mi dodatkową opłatę ok. 100 EUR za pościel dla czwartej osoby w pokoju, choć zamawiałem przez booking nocleg dla 4 osób. Dopiero po interwencji opłat została anulowana. Poza tym cena za śniadanie nie odpowiadała jakości tego śniadania, za tak dużą kwotę oczekiwałem znacznie bogatszej wersji.

Dommage que le bar ne propose pas des cocktails, très restrictif en terme de proposition. Un petit bémol sur le service à table, nous avions une serveuse qui nous hatait, limite enlevait nos assiettes avant d'avoir fini. Mais cela certainement dû à sa jeunesse dans ses fonctions.

The last thing you want to do after using the toilet is take a top off a container and pour liquid soap, spreading germs everywhere. The restaurant was superb and the spa was lovely

- Kim (8/5): Beautiful Chateau in the Burgundy Vineyards - The Chateau is beautiful and the setting is picture perfect. Close to the old town of Mersault. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful and assisted with restaurant bookings. This was the 3rd time staying here, and we were a little disappointed with the Bistro restaurant and the breakfast service. The personal touch we experienced in the past was not there this time, which was disappointing, considering the price paid and the fact that we had booked 4 rooms for 3 nights. The Service at the Bistro and at breakfast was very impersonal, and no plates were cleared at the buffet breakfast as they had 1 staff member on duty. Some items on the dinner menu were not available which was also disappointing.

- Laura (9/5): Gorgeous chateau, skip the restaurant. - Fabulous chateau in the heart of Mersault. Gorgeous dining room and lovely interior. Has a lift so managing luggage is a breeze. Room was very clean and modern. We did not have good service in the restaurant when we went for dinner. I was served the wrong entree so my husband had to wait another 15 minutes to eat. At one point, the staff disappeared and we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for the table to be cleared and for more drinks and dessert to be offered. Finally we gave up and went to the bar and asked for our bill. Waited another 5 minutes and had to tell them to put it on our room bc we were tired of waiting on the staff to do their jobs in a timely manner. It was very disappointing.

- Harold (2/5): Great location but needs a serious update to justify 4 stars. Avoid - Location is great Not worth the money...at all! We never found the 4 stars they seem to have. Back in the 90's of last century this must have been a great place. But it now needs a serious upgrade to bring it up to 21th century facilities. It is clean but worn down. Avoid the restaurant. Worst meal we had in years.

There was a lack of direction with the staff and despite being in one of the world’s best wine regions were initially offered a very short wine list on a piece of A4 paper. It took some time to establish that there was a proper wine list with a much better selection. Eventually the white wine we ordered (4 of us dining) arrived after our starter course and was warm. It was put in an ice bucket to chill and not opened. We had ordered a bottle of red wine but cancelled it as by the time someone came to open the white wine we were already on our main course.

- Eva (3/5): - Les chambres sont sans charmes. Le complexe entier semble resté inchangé depuis 40 ans. Le mobilier est dégradé, la cuisine du bistrot le soir était trop salée et vulgaire. le personnel nous a expliqué en partant que le château allait être rénové. On a mieux compris. dans ce cas, il faut l'expliquer aux clients en amont et faire une remise en attendant les travaux de réfections. Nous avons eu l'impression qu'on s'est moqué de nous. Cela donne une mauvaise image de la France. C'est dommage car le Château donnait vraiment envie sur le site.
