• Nancy (10/5): The best host and accommodation on this app in Palermo. Don’t hesitate to book with him! 5+ Stars! - First of all Giovanni went above and beyond, going the extra mile to be accommodating and resourceful. His place was so homey, clean, and had everything and more we could ever ask for. Giovanni provided us with copious amounts of recommendations, was so flexible in our check in with so many people and bags, and went out of his way to make this experience as amazing and easy as can be. Could not recommend him and his property enough, if you have to stay in Palermo, stay with him! If we could rate him 10 stars, we would. One of the best hosts we could have asked for, as he made all travel and any obstacles (on our end) run smoothly as we had to accommodate changes in plan due to a family member being sick before arriving. So friendly and hospitable, he was a highlight of our trip. Fridge was stocked with eggs, fruit, yogurt, and coffee and cookies provided added to the experience. He even spent 30 minutes personally sitting with our family providing recommendations for food, beaches, and even explained and mapped out transit, routes, and best information for everything and anything we wanted to do. We have absolutely no complaints. There was multiple sets of keys, which allowed our group to come and go, he provided us with everything and more we could have thought of from towels to personally handling the trash.

Bardzo dobre i urozmaicone śniadania (słodkie i słone), aneks kuchenny do dyspozycji gości; apartament stylowo urządzony i wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne. Lokalizacja- z jednej strony bardzo duży plus, blisko do dworca i wszystkich najważniejszych atrakcji Palermo, z drugiej jednak strony, pod oknami apartamentu do późnych godzin nocnych często bawi się młodzież, przez co trudno spać przy otwartym oknie.

• Silke (10/5): Perfekt für einen Städtetrip übers Wochenende! - Zentrale Lage, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Wohnung über zwei Etagen, unten Schlaf- und Badezimmer, oben Wohnbereich, Terrasse und Küche und ein weiteres Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber. Wir hatten mit fünf Personen die gesamte Einheit gebucht. Gastgeber supernett und hilfsbereit. Unterhalb gibt es drei Bars. Es wird gern gefeiert, auch zu später Stunde. Eventuell Ohropax mitnehmen.

Neviem si predstaviť hluk v izbách pri námestí. Izby na opačnú stranu, naša s kúpeľňou mimo izby, bola veľmi malá, bez slnka. Takze tam bolo vlhko a pre mňa nepríjemne.

Il y avait café, biscuits, thé et même des choses dans le frigo et des fruits dans la panière. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins et tres disponible. Giovanni ist auch auf unsere Frühstückswünsche eingegangen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber mit einem modernen Bad und kleinem Balkon. Wenn wieder Palermo, dann nur bei Giovanni. Mann fühlt sich fast wie Zuhause.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for our family of seven. What really made the stay special were the thoughtful touches. Giovanni had stocked the kitchen with generous supplies including condiments, eggs, cheese, milk, orange juice, bread, water, and much more. It’s those small details that make traveling so much more convenient and enjoyable, and I always give booking.com hosts an extra point for this level of care. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the old city, making it easy to explore Palermo’s history, markets, and vibrant atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend Giovanni’s place to anyone visiting Palermo. There is nothing we didn’t like.

La posizione è decisamente ottima per chi vuole vivere il centro di Palermo muovendosi a piedi,gli spazi top, la terrazza comodissima. Non adatta a chi non riesce a fare le scale perche per arrivarci ci sono un paio di rampe di scale ripide, ma per il resto nulla da dire.

He was helpful and kind and everyday he prepared wonderful and delicious breakfast according to everyones preference. The surroundings of the apartment are the historic center of Palermo, so very attractive with lots of shops and restaurants. Spotless clean, very central and 10 minutes away from central train and bus stations. Please understand that central Palermo is noisy 24/7. If you’re living in a very quiet neighborhood or are bothered by noise, central Palermo is not the place for you, even with perfectly noise insulated rooms like this location. I would definitely return

• Oswald (10/5): Holiday like visiting an old friend - The location is very central with all commodities nearby, the Check-in Was very simple and the accomodation is beautiful and very well kept. Giovanni is a great host, he's always available when you need information and takes time to give you advice and recommendations. The rooms are comforable, the shared kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and some basic breackfast supplies. There is also a small terrace. We felt very welcome during our stay The bar right underneath is sometimes quite loud
• Giulia (10/5): What a lovely place to stay! - Where do I start! We had a wonderful time at PalermiT’amo! The apartment is pretty, recently refurbished, is kept very clean and we loved the décor and the wooden ceilings. The apartment is very well equipped and has anything you may need. It has great vibes, it includes a common living area/kitchen, which is very bright. There is also a terrace, great to have breakfast or a coffee outside. It looks exactly like the pictures, if not better. Our en-suite bedroom was of a good size and it included air-con and TV, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was so also modern and well equipped. The apartment is very conveniently located, approx 10 min walk from Palermo centrale train station and around 10/15 min walk from some of the main touristic spots. If this wasn’t enough, Giovanni, the host, is welcoming, very kind and accommodating, he’s also great to have a chat with. He gave us plenty of suggestions for places to see and where to eat. We tried some of them and we were not disappointed! Staying at PalermiT’amo contributed to make our holiday in Palermo even better. We will definitely stay at PalermiT’amo again, should we go back to Palermo. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The room was super clean and Giovanni was great told me all the food places to go to and checked I was ok! Very impressed. There’s also a chill out area which is great. The only thing was my bathroom wasn’t in my room! I didn’t mind too much but if I had to say something it would be that. But apart form that excellent and the bathroom was great the shower had great pressure and everything you need!

Breakfast is fantastic, and the property is in a great location to explore the city. • Victoria (10/5): Palermi'T'Amo pour de vrai ! - Je n'ai rien à dire à part que le séjour a été incroyable. Nous avons séjourné à 2 avec ma sœur pour 2 nuits et Giovanni est juste un hôte exceptionnel. Giovanni a rendu notre séjour le plus incroyable possible, je n'avais littéralement rien à penser. En arrivant, il nous a présenté notre chambre, la salle de bain et l'espace commun avec les autres touristes, puis il nous a détaillé sur un plan où était le quartier historique, le jardin botanique, des cathédrales etc, etc.. Il nous a même conseillé quelques restaurants pour bien manger et où trouver des bonnes glaces. Les petits déjeuné était copieux, bref, c'était parfait et les petites discussions que l'on a pu avoir avec lui était des plus agréables.

• Gina (10/5): A really lovely stay! - This is a really lovely B&B right in the heart of the centre of Palermo - just a short walk away from all the action. As well as providing a wonderful breakfast every morning, Giovanni was a lovely host who took the time to give tips on what we should see and how to get there. I’ve seen a couple of reviews mention the noise from the bars down on the street but our room was directly above them and the windows blocked out all the noise for me and I didn’t notice it at all. It wasn’t a problem for us however I would just mention that if you aren’t able to climb many stairs, the apartment is up two flights of stairs so just be conscious of that in terms of your accessibility needs.

There are also plenty of bars and restaurants directly around the hotel, which is both good and bad. The place was comfortable and the owner was very hospitable. Breakfast was lovely. Good amenities available for guests to use. I misunderstood what was advertised - I thought we were getting a small apartment. However it was more like a bed and breakfast with multiple guests staying in the same location and a shared kitchen and living room. This is fine with me, but I thought we had signed up for an individual apartment. While being close to restaurants is a good thing, there are plenty of bars in the area that go until 3am. Then at 6am the recycle collectors come to get all the glass, so you can hear all the bottles crashing as they are picked up from the bars. The apartment was reasonably sound insulated, but a light sleeper would have some troubles here.

We were very kindly offered vegan and gluten free croissants for breakfast to accommodate our various dietary requirements. Comfortable beds. Nice upstairs terrace. The noise at night was a real problem - the property is on a very lively street with lots of bars, making it very difficult to sleep until things quieten down in the early hours of the morning. Also although each room has its own bathroom, in one of the rooms the bathroom is upstairs next to the kitchen / dining area which doesn’t feel private at all.
• Tomasz (10/5): Great stay and host - Everything, especially referring to price. Place has home atmosphere, Giovanni is a great host, always ready to give you some advice or to just small talk. Apart of room (small, but it was expected, cheap and enough for us), there are some common place in the kitchen or terrace, which is open for everyone in any time, with addition of coffee, tea and some stuff to cook something. Always warm water with very good pressure in bathroom. There is also air condition in room available and all place is clean. It's just Sicily's thing, not Giovanni's fault, but be aware. Even if you are from country with the same electrical outlets, you will need adapter to use polish/german type - it's not a problem for phone charger as it fits normally, but even Giovanni needs to use some adapters in kitchen for other stuff (kettle, laptop charger). As I said, this is Sicily's thing and does not affect my high note.

Great location, clean and comfy room with delicious Scilian breakfast! I would definitely go there if I have the occasion to visit Palermo again! The only thing is that we only stayed for one night!

The breakfast is excellent. The historic centre of Palermo is very lively at night, bars and restaurants with loud music. I strongly recommend earplugs for those who, like me, are very sensitive to noise while sleeping.
