- DPS-NL (8/5): Exceptional stay and wonderful service! - We had a very comfortable 2 night stay in an Executive Room. The hotel features beautiful gardens, great dining, and a free parking compound. The staff were incredibly accommodating with a last-minute request, and exceptionally flexible allowing us to store our luggage all day and leave our car after check-out until our return from London city for forward journey. The location is excellent: convenient for connecting trains to central London at Bromley South, and just a 7-minute drive to the central market's fantastic shopping and restaurant scene where you can easily spend time. Some of the furniture and infrastructure could be upgraded or renovated.

- Patricia (7/5): Was disappointed in the handling of our party which had been booked and paid for(at hotels request) before we arrived. A - Central for a family get together All good. Grounds are lovely. Booked a table for dinner for 15 in the garden room. Few days before we arrived the email said that wasn’t available as they had a wedding and we were being put in some other room, which was fine but very last minute. The food orders & special dietary requirements, which were all in an email and in writing on the day of arrival, were not carried out and had to repeatedly ask different people to change the food. When Food arrived not as required, had to ask or make do with what we were given. There were only 2 dirty changes and they weee very minor. Considering the amount of emails and filling out of forms plus having to pick our meal choices in advance and to pay for 15 meals and 5 rooms for overnight stay, a week before arrival, I felt it was very unprofessionally handled on the night. Staff were friendly but I felt they weren’t co ordinating with each other.

Luncheon was very nice outside on the terrace. A lovely sunny day helped. The food was nice, but pretty expensive for what it was. The breakfast was very expensive with very little to choose from. Self-service buffet style, continental. A tiny bit of cheese on offer, wilted, along with wilted small amount of cold cuts. Minimal fresh fruit, Morning staff very long-faced. Not very well organised at all. Have had far better service and selection at most other hotels/guest houses we've stayed in. Our room was a double, overlooking the garden, but it was very small, more like a single room. Our shower wasn't working properly so we had to use another room to shower in until the engineer fixed it. Very little hanging space, about 5 hangers. Not so good for our six night stay but okay for an overnight.

- PB (10/5): Excellent old style hotel in a quiet town - We stayed here to attend the wedding of my niece. The hotel was alert and saw that there were further bookings made by my nephew and saw to it that we continue in the same room without having to change rooms later. This was very helpful. The hotel also ensured that we get one of their spacious and event view rooms of the hotel. Too many up and down stairs, the layout is quite puzzling like a maze. Guests with heavy luggage will find it difficult to navigate the many stairs.

Room for Mr elderly parents had too many steps to climb even though a request for easily accessible room near to the lift was requested. Hotel staff said they hadn't received my email request.

A one night stay was at an amazing price for a cosy room with great facilities. Lovely view of the city from the window. The hotel was quite far away from tubes and trains but bus services were available only a short walk from the hotel.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The free water was a great addition and in a glass bottle, too! When I first arrived, my allocated bedroom smelt of cigarette smoke. I'm a non-smoker, so I could tell straight away. The man at reception changed my room quickly with no problems.

Jana was particularly very kind and allowed a complimentary late check out at 12 noon instead of 11am. Will highly recommend this hotel if anyone visiting Bromley or nearby. Would have wished slightly bigger room.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The breakfast was really nice with a good selection and great quality. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Some areas of the hotel felt slightly dated and could benefit from a bit of modernisation. Aside from that, everything else was good.

Its not a noisy hotel and thats important too I don’t like the fact that the bar area near reception is now always closed except when they are groups or meetings held !! With regards to the menu, such a shame that Scampi was removed !

- nataliedQ7442VY (6/5): 3 Stars - a bit disappointing overall (but room 237 was lovely) - Room 237 was wonderful for my 2 night stay - the beautiful bay windows and view out to the pretty gardens. Everything about my room was perfect. I was a bit disappointed with the fitness suite which is why I chose the hotel over others - it is extremely outdated and old and possibly not even in use as it is the basement and so old. The restaurant was lovely but as I was visiting my son, they charged him £17.50for breakfast on the sunday and breakfast was not good on the sunday compared to Monday. Sunday breakfast was stale canned fruit and dodgy coloured scrambled eggs. The omelette I could not eat as it tasted horrible. I was very disappointed with the £17.50 charge. It was definitely not worth anywhere near that. This is a very old hotel and not sure the cleaning is up to scratch. The same dirty tissue sat on the stairs for 3 days during my stay and I had to request clean towels and more tea. I don't think this is a 4 star hotel - the fitness suite does not count as a functional fitness suite for anyone so I would give this hotel 3 stars as food was poor also compared to other hotel standards - globally. The room was lovely that was it. (But I had to request a change of room as the cosy rooms are too tiny with partial views.)
- Cherry (7/5): Clean, comfortable stay in a quiet residential area, close to plenty of amenities. - It was well situated, within a lovely, quiet residential suburb. We were greeted by a friendly, chatty receptionist who made us feel at ease straight away. Our room was very small, but not unexpectedly. We would have liked a bigger bathroom, as that was very small, but everything was clean and worked as it should.
- Panny (3/5): My stay was adequate for my needs, not a great experience - Nothing really stood out - the rooms are tiny The breakfast and service was terrible. The tomatoes were burnt and the chef thought it was ok to bring them out. There was no fish for breakfast, I would expect at least salmon, and was informed that you would not get this at a buffet breakfast. This is not the case, I have visited many hotels were the breakfast far outweighs what we received over the weekend. The fruit appeared to have been frozen, it lacked any taste, as thought it had just come out of the freezer

- Tyehimba (8/5): - The location was great. The room was lovely spacious and warm with all the amenities that we needed. The view of gardens was beautiful! We will definitely consider returning. The fitness room was small and wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. A real shame there was no functional steam room, sauna, hottub, or spa facilities.
