Guest Reviews

- Taylor (10/5): Second time staying here, and we’ll be back! - Excellent staff, towel changes daily, great location in proximity to campus events. Excellent value when you factor in how close it is to campus. Most places price gouge events, not this one. It is a little dated, but a good clean place to lay your head. We’ve stayed here twice now and both times were great. We’ll be back in the fall during football season.
- Heidi (7/5): Happy to have had a place to stay; nice to have a pool (even though we didn’t use it); would have liked a coffee maker. - Staff and location Worn

- Flynn (6/5): Good enough place to sleep - Close enough to UF for parents weekend. It did have an outdoor pool we didn't use. Front desk staff very nice. Older property, in need of some updates. Loud hvac in our room. Parents weekend prices were outrageous, but we expected that.
- Russell (10/5): - Older property
- Alarni (10/5): -
- sherri (8/5): It was clean and near the stadium but i thought a little overpriced - It was clean. Near stadium shower was new and clean There was no blanket on bed, room was hot when we arrived. Just thought it would be newer for the amount we paid compared to other places like Panama City or Nashville.
- Erin (8/5): - It was a convenient location. The rooms were clean and the staff was super kind.
- Levi (5/5): - That they had some room available It was kinda hoodish
- Charles (10/5): Close to work - Clean Booking
- Randy (8/5): Very good -
- William (7/5): Good - Very clean room, no bugs, very pleasant staff A/C unit very loud, difficult to sleep
- Daniela (8/5): Very good - Location Bed covers
- Mastetson (4/5): Disappointing - Private and clean Pool was closed...83$ just to sleep smh
- Rob (5/5): I would not stay at this location again even if it were free - It seemed a little shady when I first pulled into the parking lot Dirty and shady. Also, bright light shining I to my room and was not able to close the curtain tight enough to block the light
- Mary (2/5): Ew. - The room smelled heavily like mold. They were booked so I just dealt with it. Wont again.
- Waters (10/5): Exceptional -
- CHRISTINE MARYANN (8/5): - Good
- Nelson (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (2/5): - Where we stayed we were told we had WiFi and pool. Wifi had poor reception and pool was not open. We stay two nights out of 5 and asked for a credit for the rest. We end up staying somewhere else for the other 3 days.
- Nicole (10/5): - I was there for a state test & met all my requirements!
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Great location, local to downtown or UF. Owner was very nice, and check-in was very easy. The rooms are simple and old-styled but very comfortable and clean. AC worked amazingly!!! A major improvement would be to include a coffee maker! Overall though, amenities were sufficient.
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamra (6/5): - Fair price for a clean, quaint stay.
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Good location for the gainsville drag strip. Dated decor. Bed linen could have been newer.
- Daryl (10/5): Gladly come back again. - It is nicely located in Gainsville not ar from campus and not far from the drag strip... but just far enough. We went for Gator Nationals booked late and many hotels were out of our budget. When I saw this place and the price, I figured it may be in a rough section or dilapidated, run down. It was clean, comfortable and above what I thought I would get. Sean (If I am spelling that right) at the front desk was super nice and hugely accommodating. I have stayed at nicer hotels.. but have paid a lot more money. I would come back here anytime. To be fair, great comfortable place, but if you are there and also having to work. The Wi-Fi was a tad slow. .. But I managed okay - and not that unusual at many hotels I stay at.
- Wayne (7/5): Good -
- oscar (10/5): - Sean was super nice!!!

- Shaun (10/5): Amazing stay! - Clean rooms... clean pool.. amazing! No breakfast
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional - They don't offer breakfast but that is fine because there are so many places to go eat around the hotel. My husband stay very very often because it is close to our jobs an right now we both have to walk to work do to the fact that his car has been in the shop. The staff here are wonderful and nice the rooms are clean and comfortable my husband an I have a room that we like the most an they try to get us in that everytime we stay i would stay here and time an recommend this place to someone that is looking for a spot to crash for one or even a few nights.
- John (5/5): I have stayed in a Marriott in downtown Orlando for less than $157 a night. - The owners were friendly. The rooms were old and smelled musty. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The walls, doors, and floors were in bad need of updating.
- Terence (9/5): Superb -
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eileen (8/5): Very good -
- Wheeler (7/5): Good -
- Meegan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ryan (8/5): - Great for the price.

- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyrone (7/5): Good - Place was close to the stadium. Also close to everything you would need for a football game/road trip. Should have tables with umbrellas for the pool. Can't play your music even up a little bit. Because some older short guy will come out and say guests have complained. Which is a lie because I asked my neighbors on both sides and beneath me to call me if they had a problem with the music. If fact the guy and his wife right next to me came and hung out for awhile. Other then that it is what it is. Nothing more.
- Jackson (8/5): - Sean at the desk was friendly and always helpful.
- Brandi (10/5): Great Place - Nice location Should have more vending
- Alexander (9/5): Great location and great price. Would stay again! - Great location and room was as expected!
- Richard (9/5): The young man at checkin was very polite and helpful - There was no breakfast available but they did have good coffee! The price however it was a football and holiday weekend, so everything was extremely overpriced.
- Joris (7/5): Decent place for a one-night stop. - Good location on one of the main roads into Gainesville. The bathroom in our room was recently refurbished. The cleanliness could be a bit better. It was not very easy communicating with the management through a glass pane and next to a busy road.
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (1/5): I guess the morale of the story is....You get what you pay for....never again!!!! - Very run down and in need of remodeling. Pillows were horrible. the bed was very uncomfortable and the 2 measly towels were not much better than paper towels.
The A/C was loud and annoying and the pool which is why I picked this motel had a sign up saying "closed for Maintenance" although there was no work being done.
- Edward (7/5): Good enough for 12 hours but not very personable - Clean though older. Small room, no coffee pot, no allowance in lobby even during working hours, questioned about leaving an hour before checkout.
- James (1/5): Bad -
- Ayman (2/5): - Service was very poor made me feel extremely not comfortable
- David (1/5): Very terrible wouldn’t recommend. Terrible customer service - Not much I did like I get to the property and first thing I get welcomed with was a rude employee at the office claiming I didn’t book the room and then he asked me to pay again and asked for my payment info. We got into a argument after going back n forth and finally he gave me a room. The room he gave me wasn’t what I got so I went back and told him what it should have been then he said if you leave me alone I’ll fix it so he fixed it finally. Once we got into the room I saw 3 roaches in the bathroom and I didn’t stay the second night.
- Kim (4/5): One night only place - if you need a cheap place to sleep - Convenient location Pool closed. No blanket on bed. No hangers. No hair dryer. Basically zero amenities and smelled like mildew. The didn’t expect much for the price , but this was even worse than I anticipated based on the rating.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Nouel (7/5): Good -
- Nyerere (9/5): Superb -
- Bernard (4/5): It was ok - The location fit my needs. Florida Gator sports , TV good Refrigerator good. No coffee, towels like sandpaper, hot water just warm, tub didn’t drain. Bed small and lumpy
- Melissa (10/5): We were very pleased with our stay. - The property was in a convenient location the UF. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back. No elevator.
- Joseph (10/5): Best motel I’ve stayed in, very well run - Quick check in, quiet, room done the job, best motel I’ve stayed in WiFi wasn’t great but not an issue
- Cynthia (5/5): Passable -
- Travonya88 (10/5): Lovely stay - Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Clean rooms. Nice lighten, clean bathroom. Fresh towels, clean linens. I will definitely give 5 stars. Nothing to share. I enjoyed my stay. .
- Leon (8/5): Very good -
- Jerry (6/5): - Not a good stay
- Scott (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (8/5): - We had a pleasant stay, my only recommendation would be to add Coffee Pots in the room's and bath soap.
- Roger (7/5): Solid place to spend a night not bad , not great either. - Staff / Owners were great. Not as clean as it could be. Vacuuming was poorly done.
- Samantha (5/5): Passable - The man at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly and pleasant. The facility is outdated, and I found a few hairs on the bed, but we knew what to expect when booking this place. Easy and quick place to stay.
- Valerie (10/5): Great - Very clean Ft desk gentleman very nice Out dated but VERY CLEAN
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional - The attendant was super accommodating. He realized I had my handicapped farther with me and changed our room to better accommodate us.
- Steve (8/5): The owner was very friendly and nice guy. Very helpful as well. - Did not eat there Sink was stopped up! Would not drain properly.
- Rhonda (4/5): I would search more for a nicer place. - The room had a bad smell. No tissues.
- Fenske (5/5): Overpriced for nothing. Very minimal room. Nothing to substantiate the price. This room should be a $40/ night roo a - Location is about it and that was kind of sketchy Nothing. Very unappealing
- James (10/5): Great little place - I really like this place. We have stayed there many times over many years. Small, family owned and operated. Not the Taj Mahal, but a very good value. Only complaint is my pillow was hard, but that could be another persons favorite thing.
