- murielle (8/5): Peut mieux faire ! - Ensemble de 2 maisons avec 2 piscines. Beaux salons marocains. Grande chambre mais manque de rangements ( pas de placard ni de commode ). Petite salle de bain sans aucun rangement. Personnel gentil . Par contre gros soucis niveau restauration ( grosse attente pour manger malgré 1 commande faite dans l'après-midi). 1h d'attente pour 4 cocas. Couscous très bon. Riad bord de route mais les chambres donnant sur jardin très calmes.

- Ross (9/5): Superb - Luxurious hotel room, hot water and excellent water pressure, nice pool, welcoming environment, nicely designed interior, comfortable toilet paper (a nice subtle addition) , bathroom is nice too Convenience stores just a few blocks away (turn left, 2 blocks; turn right , 4 blocks) A see-through sheen for a curtain; you either have to turn off the lights to change (or forget that there's no privacy and do it anyways) as well as being awoken early in the morning as the sun shines through Far away from the city center (although the taxi drivers don't price gauge you and charge you extra in this city, a nice change) Needing to ring the bell in order to enter the compound, a nuisance especially when coming back late and you have to wait to be let in (didn't take long) instead of merely entering

- Rawdon (8/5): A clean and well-equipped guest house with excellent taxi availability in Fes. - The Mimosa is somewhat a victim of its own quality in that it appears to be a 'small hotel' whereas, in fact, it is an excellent 'guest house'. The host and his family have equipped a superb house with air-conditioning, swimming pools and hotel-like facilities. The rooms are scrupulously clean and the bedding first-rate. Off-road parking is available for those that need it and the road in front has sufficient small and large taxis that I never needed to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride. Proximity to a royal palace makes the area as safe as one might wish. As a guest house, there is no 'staff' as such; family and domestic staff provide the customer service, including the meals ... and there we hit the first bump: meal timings. Breakfasts are generous and excellent but were later than I expected, starting at 0800. The evening meal really isn't really ready to start until 2100 and then it is large and traditional. For those of us who eat little and early, or fail to sleep, this needs a workaround. There is an alleged restaurant over the road but it looked dubious to me and loud, boom-boom music starts there at 2100 and goes on past midnight so ear-plugs are a good idea. Every traveller will have these, of course, and a universal sink-plug for the washbasin. That said, the family are so helpful, even giving me a lift into town at one point having been unable to satisfy my complicated, non-tourist requirements for a taxi over the phone. I chose the Mimosa because of the long beds (I'm 1m 85) and the 24-hour 'night porter' service as I knew that I would have to leave before dawn and that this might prove difficult. It did. In spite of advising my host and some of the family on several occasions that I would need to leave at 0500, I still had to finds a means of letting myself out to meet my taxi. So, yes, I was annoyed at the time but, hey, it's Africa, get over it!
- Laura (4/5): Bello ma ingannevole - Il Riad in sé x sé è molto bello e curato, ha il parcheggio ed è fuori dal caos della Medina, cmq a 5 min di macchina da lì. Sembrerebbe tutto ok fino a quando ci dicono che nella nostra prenotazione non è compresa né la colazione né l uso della piscina, quando invece nel mio voucher erano chiaramente compresi. Per l uso della piscina ci hanno chiesto 20 euro a testa al giorno, e x la colazione 10 euro a testa, ovviamente da noi rifiutati. Non ci hanno nemmeno rifatto la camera e portato nuovi asciugamani, ne nuova carta igenica.
- Minoo & Massoud (2/5): NIE WIEDER - Beim Ankunft wurden wir mit Abgeschlossene Tür konfrontiert Beim Verlassen des Hotels müssten wir immer warten bis jemand die Tür aufgeschlossen hat und umgekehrt. Gebuchte Zimmer war 32 qm mit Balkon, wir haben ein Kleine Zimmer ca. 15-16 qm ohne Balkon bekommen. Im Zimmer war kein Haartrockner , keine Bettdecke (nur Tagesdecke) , kein Telefon, kein Wasserglas vorhanden In den Gänge und Aufenthaltsräumen war ständig dunkel (Flur Sensor) Duschecke war sehr klein und eng( 50cmX50cm) Das Frühstück sollte jeden Tag ab 8:00 Uhr gedeckt sein, aber wenn wir nach 8:00 Uhr im Frühstückraum waren war nichts gedeckt und müssten wir warten bis das frühstück Tisch gedeckt wurde . Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe bzw. sehr mager für jede Person entweder 1 Tasse Kaffee oder Tee(wir haben von der Stadt Teebeutel gekauft und Wasserkanne verlangt) 1 Glas O Saft und wenig Käse, wenig Butter und eine kleine Schüssel Marmelade und Oliven ,nach unsere Verlangen, hatten wir nur ein Tag Ei bekommen,1 Tag ein paar scheiben Wurst , kein Obst. Es war eine große Enttäuschung , nie wieder.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Rude staff, left early - Was hassled by their in-house tout to do an expensive guided tour before we even stepped foot inside. Outside door is locked at all times and we had to ask them to open the door each time we wanted to get something from our car. They tried to charge us for parking (it was supposed to be free). They said we could not eat outside food - only eat in their over-priced 'restaurant'. Ad on Hotels.com said there was 4 bars/restaurants (making it sound like a resort). Total fabrication. Bathroom was so small, and shower head at a weird angle, the options were to either get the whole bathroom saturated, or shower wrapped in the shower curtin withe the water blasting in ones face. We left after one night, despite having paid for three, as we felt uncomfortable leaving our room.
