- Newnham (7/5): Great location, few tweaks needed - Great location, very central and a short walk from everywhere The bed was comfortable to sleep in The steam from the shower set the fire alarm off which was far from ideal, the staff then reminded us the next day the room was non smoking... We did not once smoke in the room and were made to feel like we had, despite us on the cameras smoking out the front of the hotel The shower itself was a rainfall shower which was nice, but didnt like the fact there's no detachable showerhead The bed frame was wooden with sharp corner edges which we both caught out knees on when getting round the bed!

Et Salle de bain vraiment très exigue et wc dans la chambre ( petite cloison en verre dépoli qui ne va ni au sol ni au plafond)

Am Ende der Reise sollten wir eine Bewertung auf Booking abgeben, andernfalls hätten wir das Gepäck nur gegen Aufpreis (5€ / Stück) bis zur Abfahrt einlagern dürfen.

Lack of storage and furniture - no wardrobe or drawers, (even bedside table is just solid heavy cilinder), only open shelves around TV; just 1 chair per room, no shelves in bathroom; new extra modern design makes living quite uncomfortable. Glass wall and door (frosted only horisontal part in the middle) to the toilet is quite confusing.

The room was so small the bed filled the entire room. If 2 people tried to move around it was a traffic jam. I paid the full amount in advance to receive a $100 discount for the 2 days. Still out of pocket for over $270 night. Found out later that the larger rooms that supposedly were in another category went for $275 night. I think they troll the internet with higher prices to see if they can hook any fish at the higher rates. I would never stay j here again and would not recommend this hotel

- Karin (8/5): Zentrale Lage - Die Lage ist sehr gut, mitten im Zentrum von Amsterdam, alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Allerdings auch sehr laut, an Nachtruhe ist am Wochenende vor 3.00 Uhr nicht zu denken. Einfache Fenster dienen nicht zur Lärmreduzierung. Wenn man eine Übernachtung mit Balkon sucht, ist man hier an der falschen Adresse, man kann nicht mal richtig raustreten, "Balkon" hat eine Tiefe von max. 40 cm.

And artwork/ decor is very cool We were on the top floor number 5 which had a very low roof at parts and was quite cramped, the decor was lovely but it was a very small room with a lot of steep steps to get to it and no lift. The security deposit was also very expensive at €250 for 2 guests in a room for 2 nights

Hôtel rénové donc très propre et lumineux. Nous avons eu une chambre au 5eme étage, sans ascenseur. Les 100 marches jusqu'au toit nous ont dissuadé de rentrer trop souvent à l'hôtel pour nous reposer. On ne les fait qu'une fois, et en fin de journée, c'est légèrement compliqué.

- Hadar (7/5): בסך הכל נשארתי מרוצה. הייתי לבד ולקחתי חדר לשתי לילות, במהלך כל היום טיילתי וחזרתי לחדר רק לישון ולנוח חצי שעה באמצע היו - מלון נמצא במקום מרכזי בעיר, מסביב מלא חנויות, מסעדות, בתי קפה. ממש מול המלון יש גם תחנת רכבת עירונית. מלון עבר חידוש כנראה ממש לא מזמן, החדר היה משופץ ונעים. חדר די קטן, בחוץ רועש מאוד וגם אטמי אוזניים לא בהכרח יעזרו, טריקה של הדלתות של חדרים אחרים מפילה את הלב ממש. חסר שולחן או מקום כל שהו לפרוק מזוודה או להניח את הדברים. כיור במקלחת כל כך קטן שאי אפשר לשטוף פנים בבוקר.

- Katie (8/5): Quirky & clean hotel in a great location! - Great location - very close to the main streets of Amsterdam, but far enough so it’s lovely and quiet. Felt very safe in the area. The staff were lovely and manned the desk 24/7. The decor was quirky and clean, and our security deposits were returned very quickly. We would stay here again! A lot of very steep stairs, to get to our room on the top floor. (Although this is typical of the buildings in Amsterdam!). Luckily we were fit and healthy, so it was ok! It was also a bit odd that the bathroom had frosted glass doors, so you can see your roommate on the toilet/getting changed!
- Lauren (9/5): Located in a great area - The hotel is located in a prime location. Everything was super walkable. It’s newly renovated so the amenities were nicer and modern. A few minor suggestions would be to have more and brighter lighting. The lighting in the room was dim and harsh. There were also no shelves in the bathroom which would have been nice to have. Also, the chair in my room was cool looking but super uncomfortable to sit on as it’s not a full seat cover but has gaped spaces in between. Otherwise, a cute local hotel.

Chambre très petite avec une minuscule salle de bain. Le lavabo est un lave main pas la possibilité de poser une trousse de toilettes, la douche est bien mais avec uniquement un pommeau fixe. Notre chambre était juste derrière l'accueil et pas d'insonorisation.

Location is perfect to walk to anywhere in the city and lots of nice food spots around. My room was on the 4th floor so bit annoying climbing up and down everytime, not accessible for people with any motor disabilities. No hotel lobby.

So many of the things you want to see in Amsterdam are within walking distance ( or biking) Only thing I didn’t like about the room was the bathroom. It’s just not very private, like the person you’re staying with can hear and or see everything you’re doing in the bathroom because it’s right in front of the bed. But if you’re staying with good friends or a significant other it’s really not a big issue just slightly inconvenient.

- Hauke (5/5): - Unser Zimmer war klein, aber sehr sauber. Das sehr kleine Bad war vom Zimmer nur durch eine Glasscheibe abgetrennt. Unser Zimmer 306 lag mit dem Fenster an einem Lüftungsschacht. Ab 7 Uhr morgens war die Lüftung sehr laut. Das Hotel kennt das Problem. Im Zimmer waren Ohrstöpsel deshalb bereitgestellt.

- Linn (7/5): Fijne ligging, prima locatie voor 1 of 2 nachten - Het ontbijt bij buurhotel NH Schiller was uitgebreid en lekker! Personeel was erg vriendelijk en de ligging van het hotel is fijn. De 1 persoonskamer was erg krap. Er was nauwelijks plek om langs het bed naar de badkamer te lopen. Voor 1 of 2 nachten is het prima, maar mocht je langer in Amsterdam willen verblijven OF niet zo goed tegen kleine ruimtes kunnen, zou ik misschien een ander verblijf aanbevelen.
- parente (3/5): l'unica nota positiva il personale. fantastico - la colazione non era prevista, ma si poteva scegliere un bar convenzionato quindi esterno all'albergo, molto scomodo. Posizione hotel buona la camera piccolissima, bassa, mio marito camminava piegato. il bagno inesistente, 5 piani per salire in camera senza ascensore, l'ultima parte una scala a chiocciola talmente piccola che neanche il piede entrava. All'interno della stanza delle travi pericolosissime. Il lavabo in bagno aveva un diametro di massimo 25 cm. Non c'era un frigo bar, se dimentichi l'acqua puoi anche morire perchè in reception non c'è praticamente nulla.
