• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Great and very convenient location. About 15 minutes walk from Waverley Station and easy walking distance to all of central Edinburgh. Only downside was that it was rather noisy at night but that is what one would expect from a central city location with lots of cafes/restaurants/bars within easy reach. Would definitely use again.

• Lorraine (8/5): Fab location, but be ready to climb those stairs! - Castle View apartments are located in a great place, just of George's St. and minutes walking distance from Prince's St. It has everything & more for a short stay. The downside is the apartment is on the top floor of the building, and there is no elevator. Morgan, at the office, was incredibly helpful and professional. I'd come here again on the back of her engagement alone. The one negative was check out. The cleaning crew arrived bang on 10am, looked at their watch and asked, pointedly, what time our check out was at. We were ready to go, but found their approach heavy handed, disappointing on what was otherwise a really positive experience. We did tell them that their manner was a little off, and they took it on the chin.... but we shouldn't have had to.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Spacious apartment for the 3 of us, great location. Small downsides - you have to climb stairs to the 4th floor so don't bring heavy luggage, had to block the bedroom door shut as it wouldn't latch, shower wasn't very powerful.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was spotless. The location is central for restaurants & bars, and the area seemed quite lively. You could hear the noise from the street from the front of the property (living room, kitchen, bathroom), but with the living room door shut at night it was quiet enough in the bedrooms. I could hear music from the bar downstairs on the Saturday night, but it didn’t stop me sleeping! The downside was the amount of stairs as it is on the top floor!

Nombreuses serviettes de bain. Certains soirs, dans la chambre située du coté rue, on peut entendre l'animation du pub situé au pied de la résidence. Bel appartement où nous avons passé une agréable séjour à Edimbourg.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is lovely and really large, with two bedrooms and sleeps 8 in total. The location is perfect for sightseeing and local shops and bars. The only downside, as others have mentioned, is the three flights of stairs to reach the apartment - but good exercise and a lovely view once at the top! The booking agent could not do enough to help and were really helpful.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Large flat, good location - It was a little cold when I got there but soon warmed up in bedrooms. Lounge and kitchen remained quite cold as no proper central heating here. Apart from that very comfortable and great location, although the location is not as described in hotels.com booking. It’s also on top floor without lift which was ok for one night.
• Craig (10/5): A must stay apartment for your Edinburgh visit. - The apartment was easy to find, just a few minutes walk from the train station, just off the main Princes street. It was well organised, we had no problem collecting the keys and finding the apartment in the building. The apartment was clean, tidy, and very spacious considering it is in the centre of the city. We had more than enough space for two, and it would easily sleep 5-6 I'm sure. The kitchen area was well stocked with plates, glasses, cups and so on, and coffee was provided. Fresh towels and linen throughout, this was an absolute find, we were 2 minutes from bars and restaurants, 2 mins from the centre of town, this is a brilliant place to stay, can't recommend it enough.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - This place is HUGE and is very conveniently located. If you’re traveling with a group, it’s the best deal in Edinburgh! However, the four flights up a narrow staircase are a drag with luggage. The kitchen was well appointed and even had a washing machine! There were only two drawbacks. You could hear creatures in the walls and ceiling at night. As this was a two bedroom apartment, I switched rooms. The second bedroom was quieter for sure, but I couldn’t swear the sheets had been laundered.

• Melissa (10/5): - The property was beautiful and location excellent. It was a 4th floor walk up which we didn’t realize so challenging to get luggage up to the flat. But the flat itself was great! I didn’t like having to provide my credit card over the phone for an additional security deposit, but I do understand the need for that, just wish it could have been done online.
• Fiona (6/5): Great location - Great location! A lot of steps to get to the apartment since it is a roof top complex , that is why it has the views. A bit noisy because of the nightlife facilities on bottom, but you are in the middle of everything..
• Ingrid (10/5): Väldigt nöjda - Jag reste med mina två ungdomar till Edinburgh. Detta var ett perfekt boende för oss, lägenheten låg mitt i centrala Edinburgh. Vi blev väldigt positivt överraskade och kommer gärna tillbaka.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great character suite - Suite was about 4 floors up so not a place to stay if you can't handle stairs. Suite was excellent, instructions for picking up keys were perfect. No issues. The suite is very well maintained.

• Jessie (10/5): Great Apartment - We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the apartment is. It is thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The apartment is centrally located - across the street from restaurants and shops and within 10 minutes walk from the train station with a view of the castle hill. We would certainly stay here again.
• Judith (8/5): Great location - Great location for exploring Edinburgh, the apartment is very spacious in the bedrooms and lounge area. There are beds to sleep 8, on this trip there was only two of us in the apartment, which was great as there is only one bathroom. The stairs are a bit of a challenge after a day of walking.

• Michael F. (8/5): Great location, nice & roomy but NOISY - The apartment is in the city center near everything and very roomy. We were quite pleased when we got there with the size of the place and how clean it was. The problem was when we went to sleep at midnight. We were on the 4th (top) floor of this building but the noise from the multiple bars/night clubs on the first level was so loud I had to use ear plugs to muffle it some. As other reviewers have stated, the noise is bad. My suggestion would be to just add double paned windows and the noise will be gone. Your rating would have also been a 5 except for the noise.

• Diane (10/5): Fantastic location, beautiful apartment! - The location and apartment was amazing! In the heart of everything and so easy to get to public transport or walkable to lots of the attractions Edinburgh has to offer! Make sure you are able bodied thought as there is 67 steps up to your front door from inside!
• Karen (8/5): Spacious and perfectly located - We had the fourth floor apartments with another family across the hall. Overall, it's a beautiful and spacious apartment. Location is great and across the street from Starbucks. The spiral staircase was quite a hardship. Luckily we had three teenage boys with us who helped carry the luggage. We had no hot water on two occasions but I called and they sent a very nice guy to fix it.
• viola g (10/5): Great flat in the middle of town - Fantastic flat in a central location. Steep fourth floor ascent but worth it for the view. Can be noisy at times in the night because of clubs nearby, but not beyond 1am. The marks on the electric stove should be repainted or a map of which knob turns what on left in the kitchen (along with salt and pepper!) and the highest and lowest heat position on the knobs. It can be dangerous if you don't spent ten fifteen minutes trying to figure that out. The original fixtures in the flat are beautiful and bedroom and shower comfortable. Would definitely recommend for business or leisure.
• L E (8/5): Castle view from the kitchen? Check! - Right off Princes Street and with a view of the castle, great for exploring Edinburgh. Two big bedrooms (one w 2 dbl, one w dbl plus 2 singles), ok sitting room and kitchen, all nice and clean. Great for a bigger group of friends or family, but in an ordinary townhouse so no noise, please. Steep stairs to the top, no lift. Would book again.

Lage ist zentral, allerdings ist es problematisch, untertags in der Nähe zu parken. Es gibt keine Rezeption vor Ort. Obwohl ich entsprechende Hinweise in einer Willkommensemail überlesen hatte, half der Vermieter aber auch am Abend unkompliziert über Telefon.
