• David (8/5): - It is an older property but fairly well maintained. The room was well kept and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was very clean but could use some new furniture, and the water was refreshing on a hot afternoon. There are plenty of dining options in the area. Access to the property is a bit tricky, especially with heavy traffic in the area. The best part about this property was the price, which was by far the lowest in the area. The staff was polite and helpful and the coffee in the lobby was fresh and readily available. We will stay here again.

The room was very quiet very clean and staff was impeccable.. made me feel very comfortable and I will visit again when in town Was only sleeping in the room didn't spend much time but TV service could have been better.. overall satisfied

• Verified traveler (4/5): Some improvements needed. - I hate to leave a bad review. I’m not saying I’ll not stay here again, but I haven’t decided. The hotel staff was friendly and offered to get us anything we needed. I was surprised there was only one bath towel and no extra toilet paper (and just a small amount on the roll that was there). They were happy to get those things when I asked. A few disposable cups in the room and a good cup of coffee in the morning would have been nice. It was a good deal for what we needed (one short overnight close to our daughter’s anp ). An older property is understandable, but I’m not sure whether I’ll choose this place again. Cleanliness and a well-stocked room are more important to me than a fancy look. Maybe they just gave us a room that wasn’t really ready.

• Brian (4/5): - mold on grout in tub/shower area. toilet not cleaned very well and hair on floor in sink area where previous guest had shaved... Internet never worked in our room. More attention to detail would serve the owners well. Wouldn't take much other than a bit more effort. fencing around pool area needs to have a wire brush to it and repainted for a fresh look. pool was good and nice it was available for late October. I don't normally leave a poor review.

• Michael (8/5): A little tacky - For the price Budgetel was great. There was one light bulb out and one plug didn't work. Caulking in the bathroom was a little sloppy and the duck tape on the floor between the carpet and tile instead of a proper metal strip was a little tacky. The fixtures in the bathroom were in need of replacing but still worked. I'm Overall I would stay there again and this was in fact the second time.

• Terri (2/5): Nasty room - Upon arrival, the room was already paid by credit card. It was done online. I paid then with my debit card. I was in room 203. I opened the door and the mirror that was where the sink was, was so streaked and appeared dirty. I then needed to use the toilet. There was poop on the seat and urine under the seat. The floor in the bathroom had debris on it. The bathtub had dirt and bugs in it. There was something clumpy white on the tile wall. I never used the tub. The carpet in the room had food and debris on it. There was no pad covering the mattress and no pillow covers. Only pillow cases. There was no bar soap. I had to go to the office to get soap. There was a big bug crawling on the floor. I killed it and left it there. Nasty.

• Rhodenia (1/5): Filthy sheets - That it was 13 miles from the convention at south harbor. The sheets were completely stained. Bottom one looked like coffee and then midway down it looked like crap streaks. The top sheet had a large urine stain look. It was gross. Front desk said they had no access to laundry. They can't say they didn't see how gross it was cause someone made the bed.

• Penny (1/5): Aweful. - Water was hot and good pressure. Very close to the space center Unclean, owners were awful. Our towels were dirty (not from us) and they tried to not give us new ones. I had to push as my partner was already in the shower. The first room we checked into had visible dirt, dead bugs, and hair on the tile, and stuff and stains in the bed. They refused to store our luggage for a late flight despite being almost empty and having a storage room.

• James (4/5): - The door to the room would not open unless you turned the handle counter clockwise. The attendant had to open the door. There was a foul odor in the room. The room was dirty and there was something on the bathroom floor that if it had been mopped would have cleaned it up.
• Grace (6/5): Not bad for the price - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our air conditioning unit did not work, but we were moved to another room right away. The sheets and towels needed to be replaced as they had holes and stains on them. Our original air conditioning unit did not work because it had not been cleaned.
• Victoria (1/5): I will never go back to that horrible place again - We had no breakfast. The location was all right. The restroom was filthy, the furnishing was falling apart and rusty, the management could not find my reservation.

• Rob (7/5): Good - While in the area working and not content to spend a fortune, I Gave the cleverly located and quite secure (small inconspicuous property entries with retaining wall around). The man at the front desk when I came in was very nice and had people skills. Very pleasant change from the unwelcome that I had been getting at some other properties. The building is in good shape for its age. Back when they built this, they made them solid! The only thing that was a repeated bummer, was weal wifi signal that I only get in the bathroom. Over my 23 years in hotel management, "safe" "friendly" "clean" will take the place a very long way. Try it out folks ! Wifi was a bit weak

• James (4/5): Run down and dirty - In an OK location for our needs. But the motel was run down, tired and terribly dirty. We had to request new bed sheets, which they came and fitted for us, but I stepped on rusty nails and other debris on the floor as well as there being cigarette Ash behind the bathroom door and used dirty, stained towels folded up in the bathroom. Should have stayed at the super8 next door.

• Vladimir (4/5): A budget accommodation with many compromises. - The pool was excellent. Close to NASA. Some coffee was provided. The apartment and linen were dirty. Cockroaches on the site. Molds in the refrigerator. I was not brave enough to open the microwave. The coffee maker has not been used for ages. Its appearance matched its frequency of use.

• Verified traveler (2/5): The room was very dirty. - The front desk clerk was friendly. However, the room and overall appearance was very dirty. Roaches in the fridge, and bed bugs in the sheets. We did not sleep there. Only used the restroom once, and did not want to bother trying to get another room because of how awful it all was. Please ask owners to revamp the place to a more pleasing aesthetic and cleanliness.

Room was also not cleaned adequately

The 2nd room, had cigarette ash on the phone receiver, a hole in the door, the bathtub was dirty, the coffee pot was filthy, and the lamp was dusty. I told them and they offered to let me switch again, but I didn't want to. I asked them to clean the room again while I was out. I came back to a cleaner bathtub and a new phone with several buttons missing. I've stayed at hotels for the same price and they were much nicer!!! The staff was friendly and did try to help.

• JF (4/5): - Price is cheap but you rally get what you pay for. Holes in wall, mold in bathroom, cracked lampshades. Super strong small of air sanitizer (most likely to hide something worse. TV reception was crap. This was most likely last updated back in the 70s.
• Matthew (8/5): Decent motel, worth the price - Perfectly fine for my needs. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked fine, staff were quite friendly and accommodating. Nothing fancy, but certainly worth the price. Would certainly stay again if I were in town.

• Gilberto (2/5): Disgusting!! - It was a Saturday, so finding a hotel wasn’t going to be easy. Believe me if we could’ve, we would’ve went and changed hotels after being in that room for five mins. There was a condom, along with the wrapper behind the bed. Dead roach behind the tv. The bath tub was disgusting, as if it hadn’t been cleaned. The refrigerator did not stay cold. The room was very hot when we arrived, and took hours to actually cool down.

Crack under door snakes could come in.20 year old microwave that sounded like a garbage disposal you left a knife in. Went to fix my pillows to watch tv and the headboard fell off on me! Did I mention that there was NO phone in the room. Plumming left alot to be desired. Mattresses did not fit the box spring, I kept falling off. When I reported to the manager the headboard had fallen on me, he asked for the room number so he could put it back up. Never asked if I was ok or anything. I need a refund for this roach motel. What do you think?
