Proximité idéale des Baux et des Carrières des Lumières. Nous avons été surpris par la petite surface de la chambre, pas loin de celle d'un Formule 1... pour un prix nettement supérieur. Par ailleurs on pourrait améliorer la prise en charge des intolérances alimentaires au petit déjeuner et aux repas.

Malheureusment avec le Mistral nous n'avons pas pu profiter de l'extérieur comme souhaité. Le petit déjeuner est trés basique j'aurais souhaité avoir un peu plus de choix ou de préparations fraiches.

• Luc (10/5): The Alpilles are a magical place to visit and Le Mas D’aigret does all it can to keep it special. - It’s very beautiful and nestled at the foot of the hills with its own private pathway which quickly has you in Les Baux village. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated and ours had a balcony with panoramic views. The staff treat you like visiting family and clearly love sharing this special place with their guests. The restaurant is quirkily built into the rocks and is a charming spot for dinner. There’s also plenty of guest parking and if you know the area you’ll know what a good thing that is. Nothing - sadly we were too early in the year for the pool to be open but that’s on us. It must be heavenly to relax there.

Lovely room with comfortable bed. The staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. The restaurant was a bit smoky in the evenings.

• Winterhalter (10/5): - I I just fell in love with the south of France more than ever. There was an unbelievably wonderful view from the hotel terrace, and the interior design was beautiful. The staff were very helpful, and my dog came with us — they were so kind to her as well. Saint-Rémy is very nearby, and there are many lovely shops there. There are also plenty of walks you can take. I could definitely stay longer!

Un petit déjeuner très copieux, un restaurant gastronomique aux saveurs originales et délicieuses. C'est notre 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel de charmes, nous y reviendrons encore !

• Christophe Cave (7/5): Décevant ! - Très beau cadre, le personnel charmant et nourriture excellente Très déçu par la chambre qui était assez vétuste, la robinetterie de la sd bain qui menace de nous rester dans les mains chaque fois que l'on s'en sert,les portes qui grincent, pas d'aération dans les WC, antenne de tv qui ne tient pas et déco de la chambre à revoir pour le prix demandé. Malheureusement c'est souvent le cas lorsque l'on réserve par Booking, on nous donne les plus mauvaises chambres, je vais donc arrêter de passer par Booking.

Très bon petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et une dame au service très agréable. La literie est impeccable et la chambre était parfaitement propre. Un parking gratuit. Tout était parfait. Si je dois juste faire une remarque négative, les portes de la chambre ne sont pas à la hauteur de la beauté de l’établissement.

• laetitia (8/5): - La chambre était vraiment top, exactement comme sur les photos, et malgré un petit désagrément par rapport au bain à remous, tout était parfait. Il n'y a rien à redire concernant la propreté ou les équipements. Il y a cependant eu quelques soucis lors de mon court séjour, mais la direction de l'hôtel a pris les devants et fait un geste commercial appréciable. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir. Le calme, le cadre, la vue, la terrasse privative avec très peu de vis à vis, et la proximité du village (accessible à pieds en quelques minutes via un chemin de terre privatif) en font un hôtel parfait. Seul bémol, la literie, qui, à mon avis, n'a pas sa place dans un 4 étoiles. Le moindre mouvement fait bouger tout le lit, et le matelas est assez dur.

The hotel also has an excellent restaurant in an interesting underground cave, quite special. No views from the new rooms. It's a short but quite steep walk to the village.

• Eric (10/5): le PARADIS aux Baux - Vaste chambre, très confortable et spacieuse, avec un coin salon, une grande table de travail, une séparation être les les deux zones, une petite terrasse adorable ET la plus belle vue du monde sur la vallée des Baux et les Alpilles. Une grd salle de bain toute équipée, magnifique douche, un toilette séparé, (sympa). Le restaurant et sa terrasse avec cette vue est une enchantement, le cadre est unique, une vieille bastide, des roches a vif qui se mêlent au bloc de calcaire, le jardin provençal (et soigné) font de cet endroit un véritable paradis. Le petit chemin dans la garrigue, qui mène au village des baux, á pied, est d'une poésie unique. Je recommande très vivement a ceux qui veulent, comme on dit chez nous; de l’authentique. rien tout est parfait

Le site vraiment magnifique, l'hôtel est le mieux situé de tous directement au pied des Baux de Provence. La cuisine absolument divine. Le calme (petit hôtel, bien insonorisé). La chambre supérieure est vraiment petite pour le tarif mais aussi pour la catégorie de l'hôtel (mais c'est un problème récurrent à mon avis en France métropolitaine). Seulement une petite bouteille d'eau offerte à l'arrivée pour deux personnes.

• Melanie (8/5): - We had no knowledge of this area so we were pleasantly surprised by the beautifully imposing Chateau des Baux-de-Provence and the village. The ground of La Mas d’Aigret is modest but very beautifully done. Diner at the hotel was fantastic (not much else around from what i could tell so book ahead) and the pool and terrace were a very nice spot to relax and recharge. Easily walkable to the Baux-de-Provence site and petite village. We went early so we had a nice walk and exploration of oth few people. We would definitely make time for the Carrière des Lumières next time. I also highly recommend stopping into Castelas for olive oil tastings and shopping. So good it was hard to choose!

• marnoye (8/5): A stunning hotel/restaurant with charm and elegance - A beautiful location, in a short walking distance to the heart of Les Baux-de-Provence, with stunning views from the hotel. The historical building has retained the best of its authenticity while offering elegant and comfortable premisses. The double room was cozy, full of charm, with a great view on the olive groves; however, it was very small, which presented a challenge for two medium size suitcases. Luckily, the small balcony accessed by French doors gave some room for extra space. Bedroom and bathroom are elegantly decorated with comfortable bedding and all expected amenities. The outside restaurant is beautiful, and the menu offers a small range of French and Provencial meals of high quality, both in taste and presentation. The breakfast buffet is set inside the restaurant that is quite impressive. Guests can choose to have breakfast outside or inside. The buffet was generous, offering a diversity of local products of excellent quality. The swimming pool is inviting in a beautiful setting. The staff was courteous, helpful and professional always. While French regulations permit smoking in outside areas of hotels and restaurants, we found it quite disturbing to have smokers around tables while we had dinner, and on the balconies of their rooms that were adjacent to ours, also around the swimming pool. We would like to recommend the hotel owner/manager to encourage guests to be more mindful of non-smokers in the entire space. Such recommendation could be included in the house rules.
• PestfromBuda (10/5): A lovely setting - We didn't stay, but we did have dinner there. The setting is perfect, especially if eating outside on a balmy evening. The view over the Alpilles in the distance is the entrée. The food was good fare, but not excellent if you're looking for something very different. The service was polite and professional, but the setting was the main reason for going.

The swimming pool was heated - we regret, that we did not know in advance. The receptionist lady was very kind and welcoming and took time to show us around in the hotel. We had a beautiful room with a terrace. The best arrival at a hotel ever experienced around the world. And in addition a charming decorated restaurant with delicious food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely stunning views. We couldn’t take advantage of the pool since it was a bit too cool, but wished we had been able to. 30 Min drive to both Arles and Avignon. 10 min to St.Remy. Walkable to Les Baux.

• 388triciad (10/5): The perfect hotel for a stay in Provence. - First, if you go to France, go to Les Beaux Des Provence; then stay at this enchanting hotel. The grounds are gorgeous, the owners and staff are warm and welcoming and the food is so delicious you will want to stay here forever. (Make sure to try the piseou soup—-heavenly!). The views from this hotel are stunning and utterly captivating. The hotel is but a ten minute walk from the village of Les Beaux des Province. My husband and I were so seduced by this wonderful place that we intend to return many more times starting in April/May of2025. Usually, after a trip merely of five days we are ready to fly back to our own lovely home in Southeast Tennessee, but not this time. This place made us want to stay forever. Please—-treat yourself to this wonderful hotel.

The kids loved exploring the hotel, especially the parts built into the rock—so unique! The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The outdoor terrace was a great place for our excellent dinner. The pool was another benefit, as was the short walk to Les Baux de Provence. We were also warmly assisted by the owner on our departure morning when we had a serious issue with our bike hire company. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough!

In the hotel you are surrounded by les Alpilles, views of the castle and a generally peaceful environment. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views, the pool, or sit in the garden or bar, this hotel provides welcoming spaces. Dinner was good, but could have been better -- more authentic in the sense of being more seasonal.
