- Roger (9/5): We were pleased with the accommodation. - Breakfast was satisfactory - very convenient and met our needs nicely. Staff very pleasant and responsive to requests. Suite comfortable. Great location central but in quiet area. Bathroom
small and shower handle difficult to turn on. Television remotes were confusing - having instructions would have been quite helpful.
- Kristin (8/5): Great! I would stay here again. - The location was perfect. Right downtown within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and parks. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. Staff were attentive and kind. The price was great. The building itself was older and the air was a bit stuffy, but clean and comfortable.
- Go (10/5): -
- Hugh (6/5): - Location Old , small size furniture, small shower
- Norman (10/5): It was really pleasant. - Breakfast was just pre-wrapped pastries. Waffles for breakfast.
- David (10/5): - Super friendly staff! Easy check in. Huge rooms, fantastic breakfast options. I couldn't be happier!
- Myrna (8/5): - L’emplacement et la geandeur du logement. Le lit trop mou.

- Julietta (6/5): - The pro's: great location in downtown Bellevue next to the mall. Spacious suites with kitchens and sitting areas, lots of room to stay and work if needed. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Free parking in front of tge hotel.
The con's: the place feels dated with some things broken. Sink was dripping. Shower faucet was broken could not adjust temperature had to take cold showers two days in a row. The front desk attendant was not very enthusiastic about helping and nothing was done. Overall the stuff seemed to be unhappy to be there and not very friendly. Breakfast is very minimal best to fix your own in the kitchen.
- Candace (6/5): - The initial smell on the first 1st floor was very unpleasant. The room had very bad wall outlets, nothing stayedpl plugged in. Had prop usb plugs or they would stay in the outlets. Also most places have usb outlet near bed or anywhere for that matter. There were none andthe outlets were far away from side tables next to bed. Shower head trickled water.
Room was clean and nice sheets.
- Carolina Sanchez (8/5): Would Stay Again - The location, staff and cleanliness was great! The hotel itself had an odd smell to it, could be due to age and although they were good quality products, the breakfast food items were all prepackaged snack items. For what I paid, I would've appreciated a hot continental breakfast of some kind. All the small for a hotel, there was ample parking, which I really appreciated, especially being downtown. The noise level while on the main street, was not bad during sleeping hours. We loved the fully loaded kitchen, ample livingroom area and closet space, but would've appreciated some kind of dead bolt or door lock. Safe area but we as single women would've felt safer. It was difficult to charge our devices in the bedroom because the wall plugs were loose. I would suggest having nightstand lamps that have built-in USB ports. 😊
- Michael (9/5): Comfortable spaces, great location, easy-living retro style, - Very comfortable and really nice spaces to spread out, full kitchen, etc.
Location is excellent to walk all over that region of Bellevue...easy to parks for kids, great restaurants and walks down to the lake (but very steep in last 100 yards to water).k
Hotel is retro style and it is like living in an older apartment. Not high tech like large, modern chains, but much more easy living style.
The breakfast is very basic, but OK.
Parking is very easy
We would go back to this hotel for sure if we are in that area again. Breakfast could have some more options, but I don't think they have a hot kitchen in the hotel for breakfast. The foods are all either room temp (cereal, fruit, bagels, etc) or refrigerated (fruit cups, milk).

- Linda (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at La Residence Suite Hotel. The location is in a quiet area of Bellevue but close enough to downtown Seattle to drive or grab an Uber. Walking distance to restaurants and bars in Bellevue.
The rooms are spacious, very clean and well-maintained and have a kitchen fully equipped with utensils. There's also a laundry room and gym. The kitchenette jn the lobby is always stocked with fruit, coffee and condiments and in the morning they have muffins, bagels, cereal etc. Larry and the team were so friendly and Peanut the hotel cat was the icing on the cake.
Highly recommend!
- TSEMING (8/5): - Instead of staying in downtown area that is no free parking. The hotel satisfied my need of easy parking, walking distance to family gatherings. The price is a bit high for my booking, but overall the hotel meets the criteria it promise to have.
- Melissa (10/5): - We stayed one night with our cat while traveling to Seattle to move my son back to UW. We usually stay near campus, but needed a cat friendly place that didn’t break the bank. This was fantastic! It was a FULL suite- 1 BR, living room with pull out couch (not bad), fully stocked kitchen with fridge, oven/stove, dishwasher, and a lovely bathroom and closet. We had plenty of space. It was clean. Pocket doors made it feel larger than it was :). Place was quiet, close to grocery (easy walk),a beautiful mall, Meydenbauer Bay Park. Would recommend and stay again!
- alexii (10/5): - The hotel was wonderful. Quaint, a little dated but sweet and charming. I stayed to grab a flight in the morning. The continental breakfast did not disappoint. I will say, I went out to have a nice evening and got sucked into an army of rich families that had 14 year olds with prada bags. The people in the neighborhood are so entitled they will walk right into you as you hang onto edge of the sidewalk with on coming trafffic. I only mention this because it is a stark difference to the laid back cozy vibes this hotel offers and may not be what the vibe the typical person booking this hotel is looking for. If you plan to stay in and have a quiet evening thought, it's great.
- Richard (8/5): - Like a TV in the bedroom. More towels.
- Kentaro (10/5): -
- Santiago (9/5): Retro style, good location. Won't get similar rooms for this price on Bellevue. - Loved how spacious the rooms where, well equipped, super clean, very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed / AC was great. Location is very good if going for work, just next to the mall and close to the center. Some of the equipment is a bit outdated, but it goes with the vibe of the place, and the important things are there (great bed, nice TV, lots of room). Breakfast could be/look fresher, but is OK to get by and start the day.
- John (9/5): - Room was a suite with full kitchen, quite large. Nice continental breakfast and the Sunday paper. The place is across the street from a gorgeous park.
- Hamilton (10/5): - The decor Nothing
- Garrick (10/5): -
- Denette (6/5): - The location is great. The accommodations are adequate. Very spacious but my room was located off a large deck that had acess from the general public and the door to the bedroom off the deck didn’t lock. I had to provide a makeshift security block. It was a bit uncomfortable.
- Michaela (7/5): -
- Jingying (10/5): - This location is right next to a centra shopping mall so it’s easy to access foods and shops, but also on the back side and not on a busy street. The room has kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave, also provides laundry, sufficient for longer stays.
Some smaller part are insufficient, like the lobby closes at 10, the breakfast is mainly packaged snacks, and lacks in some communication aspect (not rude, just misunderstood).
But overall I like the room (better than Hyatt in the area) and would choose again.
- Eunju (10/5): - Receptionst was super nice and very informative. Love the spacious room
- Lixia (10/5): We have a very good time living in La Residence. - Perfect location close to Bellevue shopping mall and Bellevue downtown Park;
Every morning when we open the windows, bright sun light coming to our room;
Front desk gentlemen are very nice to help with our request, we appreciated your support! None.
- Margaret (10/5): -
- James (9/5): Spacious suite for a family of 4 with small children - spacious room
rotating TV
nice kitchen
friendly staff
quiet room breakfast doesn't serve any hot food.
- Mara (10/5): - Super close to Bel Sq and restaurants. Great location. Easy parking.
- Koglot (10/5): - Lokacija, predel v katerem se hotel nahaja je nekaj neverjetnega. Vse blizu. Sobe so zelo primerne za druzine Zajtrk v hotelu je precej skromen.
- Trudy (8/5): -
- Alonso (8/5): - The property is very comfortable, the rooms are small apartments. Complete kitchen, spacious living room, dinning table for 4, good size room, very small bathroom. The back of the mall is across the street and the park is less than a block away. Staff very friendly.
- Lok (9/5): -
- Lok (8/5): Very good -
- Corey (10/5): Great Stay in Bellevue! - Nice old school spot. Lots of shopping nearby, beautiful facility, comfortable rooms and the A/C was amazing. Would highly recommend! Wish there were options for purchasing snacks and drinks. If there were I didn’t see them.
- Matthew (10/5): Great value, great location - Liked the location, right by the park across the road from the mall, close to main Street. And my family's plan for the bubble planet. Also the value was amazing living room king bed pull out Wouldn't be much I'm trying to hard to think of anything honestly.
- Lee (5/5): Passable - Nice breakfast, friendly staffs The room had an unpleasant odor, mainly from the carpet. We were too exhausted after a long trip to ask for a room change, but in hindsight, we should have.
- Walter (10/5): Did stay at it again - This was our second stay there, and the second was as enjoyable as the first. The hotel is very nice (seems to have been a former apartment complex). The two rooms we've stayed in have been very nice, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is a little sparse, but not bad.
- Kelsey (10/5): Would definitely stay here again! - Very spacious room, comfortable furniture, exceptionally clean, plus AC blows cold which was great during the warm weather we had while we were there. The only thing that could be better is if they added a hot breakfast instead of continental.
- David (8/5): plesant - Great sized room with kitchen The property is old and could use renewal
- Vera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zitong (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (10/5): - Love to stay on the 4th of July.. the fireworks seen from thier front porch is amazing!!
- St (8/5): Very good -
- STEPHANIE (8/5): - Great hotel to stay at with a toddler! Separate living area, full kitchen (full size refrigerator, stove, plates and utensils), dining table, TV area with couches and extra blanket, very clean. We felt at home.
We did use a sound machine to fall asleep; if you’re bothered by car noise, bring ear plugs because we heard plenty of sport cars driving by. Rooms not soundproof, but still quiet.
My other suggestion would be to dust the couches, something set off my allergies.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Spacious lodging. Enjoyed the third-floor patio and easy parking.
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Ernie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Walter (10/5): Will definitely stay again - I believe that this was a former apartment building, now turned into hotel rooms. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, as was all else. The location was also very convenient for walking, shopping and dining.
- Gerry (8/5): Very good -
- Doug (8/5): - Great location. Spacious suite. Limited breakfast options of mostly dry cereal and packaged pastries.
- Roman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): - Everything was great. It saying it has a breakfast is a little much. Just basically pop tarts and bagels. But still awesome
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kurt (10/5): - An older property but very well maintained. Staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast included pastries, cereal, breakfast bars, fruit, and a few hard-boiled eggs—though the eggs didn’t last long. No hot food except for microwaving pastries. Bring your own water—they did provide some, but it ran out twice during our 4-night stay.
The room exceeded expectations. It had a full kitchen with stove/oven, mid-sized fridge, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Kitchen drawers were well stocked for quick meals, and it was easy to clear space for our own food. Dining table for four, and living room with a hide-a-bed, extra bedding, and a 50" Roku TV. No cable—bring your own streaming logins. The system asks for your checkout time and says it deletes your info at that point.
Bedroom had a king bed, 42" wall-mounted TV, two nightstands, and a 3-drawer dresser. Tons of storage—open shelves, bathroom drawers, and more than we’ve seen in any hotel.
Two large windows allowed great airflow. AC/heater unit in the living room and a baseboard heater in the bedroom. A pocket door separates the living and sleeping areas.
We loved the Bellevue skyline view at night. Very walkable location. For the price, this had more space and amenities than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in downtown Bellevue.
- eunice (10/5): - Is close to the mall and walking around the park for a family is very great staying recommended 💯
- Carla (6/5): Overall, I thought it was way too expensive for what it was. - Nothing specifically It was old, and the room was pretty rundown, except the bathroom was recently redone. The bed was hard. The Wi-Fi didn’t work.
- Jessie (10/5): My new Bellevue "go to"! - Very cozy and room had more than I expected. Love the location. Complimentary breakfast very much appreciated. Quiet. I can't really think of anything. Just wish my partner was there to enjoy it with me.
- Nancy (9/5): Superb -
- Autumn (8/5): - This gem was like an apartment more than a hotel. Very roomy, full kitchen, etc. The bed was very comfortable.
- Brian (6/5): - The location next to Bellevue Square is great. Parking is free. The rooms are very large with a full kitchen. The decor is older like the 70’s but clean. There are only about 30 rooms so it’s quieter than other hotels. The breakfast is minimal - one coffee station and no decaf, packaged bagels and pastries, cereal dispenser is flimsy and hard to work, only oat and almond milk. Limited business center and the copier was out of ink. One of the morning reception staff took forever to refill the coffee - told one person waiting that there was a Starbucks at Bellevue Square. The television is limited to Roku and so can’t watch CNN, MSNBC, ESPN, most local news stations, and a lot of other normally available TV. The WiFi was weak in some parts of my room - kept stalling out. Overall probably a good value unless you want more of a breakfast, better television, and attentive front desk service.
- phaniraj (10/5): - it was great
- Adnan (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vincent (8/5): Very good - breakfast was very minimalistic. The rest was very good
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Alireza (9/5): Superb -
- Dennise (8/5): Clean and unbeatable location - Amazing location, very clean, and amazing staff that was very attentive! The room has all you need to have a comfortable stay! Slightly outdated and has a bit of an old building smell from time to time but it was nice overall!
- charles (10/5): - The availability of a kitchen with basic utencils was aplus. At check-in the receptionist listened to our concern from a previous review and changed rooms for us - appreciated.
- Ella (8/5): Very good - Great location near to the downtown park and restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was very convenient laundry facilities on site.
- Emil (8/5): Very good - I expected something more from breakfast than sweets only. For someone who must watch the sugar paying for a "breakfast inclued" is not justified
- Sarah (8/5): Very nice stay - The bedroom, living space and kitchen. It was spacious. The breakfast could have been better.
- Amanda (10/5): - La Residence is a sweet, older hotel. If you're seeking a modern boujee experience, this isn't it. It's a simple place with antique charm. I enjoyed it very much! Comes with a fully stocked kitchen which was a nice surprise. Staff were kind and courteous. Everything was very clean. Continental breakfast was simple but thoughtful.
- Paul (6/5): - Large rooms, lovely staff but there was a smell in room 43.
- David (8/5): Very good - Very nice day staff. Modest but nice room Rugs in hallways
- John (8/5): Nicer than we expected - Proximity to central Bellevue A bit dated but great for the price
- Mark (9/5): Perfect spot! - Amazing location just outside of the skyscrapers, but close to the water and old Bellevue! Awesome rooms! Super friendly staff. The room is like apartment with a full kitchen and a full bathroom! Super cozy. I wish the lobby and breakfast/coffee was open before 7 AM
- Jennifer (9/5): Great value quiet clean good location - Quiet clean great location Uncomfortable couch
- Yvonne (9/5): I really enjoyed the corner room with the deck. I would come back if I could be guaranteed to stay i - I was only there for one night. I really enjoyed the deck right off of the bedroom! That was worth the price. Some of the interior was a bit dated.
- harvey (8/5): - My only complaint would be that the breakfast was very limited. Milk for cereal was available only by request. The coffee was awful.
- Jacquelyn (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (9/5): Superb -
- Chu Ming Philip (10/5): - Good location and comfortable.
- Daniel (10/5): - The property was safe, quiet, convenient for shopping and convenient for fine dining.
- Cyndi (10/5): We loved it and are making plans to book here again in the summer! - Breakfast was great! I selected fresh fruit, boiled eggs, and a healthy energy puck from the continental offerings, and my husband cooked his favorite pancakes in the fully-equipped en suite kitchen using a mix he brought from home. Only a slightly odd smell in our room, like old cooking.
- Venegas (10/5): comfortable stay - the room was big with everything you need to cook everything was good
