• Dayman (8/5): Great location for my trip and would certainly return to this inn again. - Room had been painted and washroom had been redone. Room was very clean and the staff was friendly/ Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge , microwave and tv all in great shape. Free Parking. One must remember this is an old type Inn and I don,t think they can inprove the rooms any more than they have done. Great stay.

• Breanna (8/5): Incredibly convenient and comfortable. - Staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the parking was very convenient. The motel is also a 30 second walk from a great dinner/drinks spot.

Complimentary bottles of water at check in, and the fridge in the room worked great. Dog at office was a bit intimidating, although she was very gentle. Could be a bit of a challenge for some.

• Brian (9/5): This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. Both times were great. - Desk clerk was friendly and a complimentary 500ml bottle of water was provided. The room was basic but clean, the bed was comfortable. The Microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator were newer units and clean. Plenty of towels in the spotless bathroom. The motel is next door to a restaurant. I liked the 'vibe' of the motel. It reminds me of the 60's when motels like this were found along the highways, and we would only need to find the the next lighted "Vacancy" sign.

• Lepine (8/5): Really pleasant and comfortable place to stay - The manager was really attentive to our needs. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to all amenities. Easy process to check in and out. Really clean. Manager was not always in the office and had to look for him a few times. This place needs some updates.
• Darlene (5/5): What I expected… - It was an inexpensive option and I got what I expected. There were no surprises. It was just fine for a layover from Thunder Bay to Ottawa when you don’t want to break the bank on a bed and a place to rest. Everything worked and it was clean and safe. Staff were great. Pizza place next door had delicious slices for sale. Mattress was old style. Springs creaked when you sat on the bed but it was totally comfortable. I’ve slept in worse spare rooms in my friend’s homes! Building was older so wasn’t expecting much.

• Guimond (10/5): Great for a road trip stop over - I stay in this motel almost every time I pass through the Soo. I have stayed at least 6 times not disappointed even once. I usually go through the Soo 4 times each year. I will use the TRUNK again in the future. Nearly impossible to beat the price along with a nearness to breakfast or dinner restaurants. Junction to the TransCanada is close. I always stop for gas on the Garden River Reservation. This motel is a great stop over along the highway. Not set for scenic views. I can not find fault enough to say anything about it. I know I am not staying in a thousand dollars a night inn. I would not have stayed here twice if I was unhappy once. I have stayed here at least 6 times and there will be more.

Good mattresses and multiple pillows. The exterior appearance of the motel leaves something to be desired, but the room we had was a gem.

On the main Trunk Road right by restaurants, grocery store and gas stations. Listed on the tourist office map number 26. Shower - bathroom seems fresh and I like the shale like design. Bedroom area freshly painted - looks spiffy Tv, desk, drawers, microwave, coffee pot ( we made a tea pot) fridge, hangers, luggage rack and 6 hooks on the wall ( which we found handy) WIFI Pleasantly surprised by this affordable gem

• Maria Paz (6/5): - Check-in was great! Very friendly, service with a smile! Appreciated two free bottles of water. There was a smell in the room but I brought air freshener with me. So all good. The only issue is that the bathroom door will not close for privacy.( Room #6) Also we normally leave the bathroom door slightly open for a bit of light at night but decided not to because the light is attached to the fan so it was quite loud. A little pricy for one night. A Plus : great location for fast food, gas and grocery.

• Carol (9/5): Our room was spotlessly clean & well equipped. They even supplied wine glasses in the room. There is a good roadhous - Friendly helpful guy named Vic greeted us with two bottles of cold water when we checked in. Nothing to dislike about this property.

The bed was cozy, the shower had great water pressure, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location was convenient, with easy access to the highway and nearby restaurants. Overall, this motel provided excellent value, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip
