christoph (10/5): sehr sehr schönes hotel in top lage in la ventana, sehr zu empfehlen - mega schöne anlage, super nette, liebe und sehr hilfsbereite besitzer. unser zimmer forelle war der absolute hammer, wir haben dierekt nochmal dort übernachtet und würden es bei unserer nächsten reise nach la ventana wieder buchen. wir haben beim zweiten besuch einen discount bekommen, sehr sehr lieb, vielen dank. so eine liebe familie!!! die lage ist TOP supermarkt bäckerei restaurants alles um die ecke. la ventana at it´s best!!! der weg zum strand runter und wieder hoch ist heftig nur über mind 80 stufen zu erreichen. für menschen mit eingeschränkter mobilität nicht zu bewältigen. aber das ist halt die lage am hügel. die pools haben wir nicht benutzt weil sie nicht wirklich zum schwimmen einladen

Jaime (10/5): Great stay, would book it again! - The location was great. It was central to everything we wanted to see in LV. The property itself was really beautiful! So many gorgeous sitting areas and patios, plus direct access to the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had 2 rooms and requested to be close to each other, and they accommodated us without any issues. The AC's worked well during the day and the room stayed cool enough in the evenings without them. The fridge and coffee maker were nice additions!

Monik (1/5): Do not recommend, horrible attendance! - The receptionist was not there, we were received by someone else, wh was not trained to do checkin neither checkout and the responsible was totally rude, came late knocked with violence on my room to ask me to move to another room, I felt really scared and that's not the way to treat guests, that was their mistake to give me the wrong available room.And in y room the hot water was not working, I had to take cold shower after work all day in the ocean. I was a recurrent client of this hotel already, I was never ever treated like that, so now I would never ever come back even if they would give me a stay for free. Terrible hostes. Do not recommend at all.
Dawn (1/5): Terrible - The view that was about it. They had some nice furniture that was new it was outside on the patio of the hotel Felt very abandoned. The bed was so hard. We barely slept. There was no light in the main room unless you wanted to stand on the bed and pull the cord on the fan every time. The fan made an irritating noise we finally had to shut it off and then boiled all night. There was no screens we couldn’t really open up the windows. The place was run down. It definitely needed a face lift the furniture was very used and worn in the room. They didn’t even offer free coffee however they did have a coffee maker! The sheets on the bed we were really rough the towels were quite grayed. Would never stay there again it was really overpriced. The one thing that really took me off was the pictures were completely different than the actual room. The room looked huge in the pictures and it looked almost like you had your own patio which wasn’t even your own patio.

Me gustó que tiene varias áreas en común y estancias para pasar el rato , leyendo , descansar, hacer comida, reuniones , etc. El acceso a la playa nos encantó El único detalle que no nos gustó. Fue que las albercas disponibles, que son 3. Estaban sucias, les hace falta mayor limpieza diaria

Robert (5/5): Beautiful views, great water access, crazy bad construction - This has a great location to walk to the beach for SUP, snorkeling, & wind sports. Incredible views Imagine you asked chatGTP version 1 to design a waterfront hotel, just like the generated images of people with extra fingers or Will Smith eating spaghetti, this place has the general concept but no idea how to construct a decent hotel. It is a crazy maze of 75% completely constructed buildings, with no overall design and no building codes. It lacks hot water, the sewage system is stinky, the floors tilt, and there are tons of stairs with no hand rails. 1 step up from camping. The jr suite has 1 room with a bed and 4 fold out couch beds. The bathrooms both have multiple toilet and shower stalls.
James (8/5): A nice resort right on the beach in conveniently located - Beautiful beachfront location, convenient to restaurants like the outside activities area although the hot tubs were not on and the pool water seemed a little murky The hot tubs were not working, and the pool water was a little murky. Lack of a restaurant or bar means you have to travel a short distance to get food or drink.

This was 1/4 the price of every other water front hotel I stayed. - While staying at villa paraiso I had a bit of a mixed experience but overall it was great. My original room was kind of small and the hot water didn't work, but the owner moved me to a nice large room overlooking the water with it's own boiler and it was great. On the weekends things got busy and a little noisy, but during the week it was super quiet there and I was able to just walk out in front of the hotel to the self launch and kite all day, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean at night. Room had an amazing view of the bay. I spend $5 at the hardware store to replace a busted shower head, but was totally worth it. The restaurant and any other facilities were never open, and I never saw anyone at reception. The hotel was basically a ghost town all week except for the weekend when I suspect it was the owners family there partying it up.

Lori (8/5): Very good - You can't beat the location of this hotel as the veiw is awesome and you walk right from the hotel to the beach. When we were there ,there was only a couple of other quests so it was very quiet which was great. Their restaurant or bar wasn't open so that was disappointing but there us lots of restaurants in the town. The room are dated but very clean . We would definitely stay again. The staff could have communicated better about what was and was not available as we were expecting to be able to access the restaurant area.

Loved the jacuzzi pool which was perfect after kiting. Excellent breakfast. The shower head needed to be de calcified to get a better shower.
Jeff (9/5): Great place!!! I will stay here again for sure. - As a hippie, the property is so cool with all its terraced verandas, patios and sitting spaces! Loved that I could bump around at different times of the day and find sun or shade. Amazing views overlooking the ocean. Sunrises were spectacular from the aerial view on the side of a cliff! I chose a less expensive room which was just that, less. Very simple amenities in the room but everything functioned. The hot water was the only slight disappointment, it was very difficult to dial in.
Angelica (1/5): Not a great experience - The only winning point is the location and beautiful view of the bay. It would have so much potential but it is a once upon a time beautiful place that has rundown. They are investing money in expanding it when they should use them to renovate the facilities. In our room the light in the bathroom and the hot water weren't working. Thankfully other rooms were free and the hostess was kind enough to offer us a different accommodation.

"George" the restaurant manager went above and beyond for us. He helped us at check in, carried our bags. He and Jonathan were often checking to see if we needed anything without being pushy. They were just super friendly and respectful

Nick (7/5): It was a very good value and decently located for my purpose. - Great location right on an ocean bluff. A lot of patio and outdoor sitting locations. They have one large swimming pool and about 3 others that are spa size. None are heated or have any heating capability. the only ones using the pool were some young kids for a short time. The swimming pools are cold!

Room was a big negative. In need of an update. Poor lighting, few outlets. Dingy and old furnishings. Bathroom had NO hot water and was in need of a complete makeover.

Violet (7/5): Beautiful view/access to the ocean, but with a few amenities lacking - Location and view from the hotel was spectacular. Would stay again simply for the scenery. Enjoyed the cats on the premises, despite them often sneaking in and hiding under the bed haha. Was pleasantly surprised that there is housekeeping each day. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. We had one of the budget rooms. Many of the rooms, such as ours are located around the main courtyard. So you hear people coming and going. But wasn't really an issue, as the liveliness didn't really start until 8am. If you want a quieter experience, would recommend a room that is closer to the ocean than the courtyard/garden. Very limited english spoken by staff, so it was a bit challenging for us, who don't speak much spanish. Never figured out how to get hot water, though another guest said they had hot water. Place is huge, but strangely kind of quiet, and a lot of the spaces (kitchen, bar, etc.) are not in use and so it has a bit of an eerie feel. The bathroom doesn't have a door, there's just a wall that opens to the main area. This was rather odd, but there are plenty of individual (doored) bathrooms throughout the hotel, so you can easily seek one out if you would prefer some privacy. Our room came with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and 2 ceramic mugs. Grateful for these things, but was wishing we had a couple water glasses as well. Also wished we had brought cutlery along! Oh, and the hotel seems to be managed by a family that lives on the premise. Usually no one is is in the main reception area to answer questions etc. There is a bell to ring, which rings through to the room that the family is staying in. Since they are not always in their room, I would say if you ring the bell, there is about a 40% chance that someone will come to help.

Megan (4/5): It’s not really a hotel, it’s a money laundering scheme - Beautiful location, pools and outdoor spaces. Room was poorly equipped. Fancy kitchenette without plates, glasses, flatware or cooking equipment. Fancy TV but no nightstands, uncomfortable furniture, no place to unpack.
