- Karen (10/5): Convenient and affordable. - This time we stayed there we were on an inside room on the hallway and we woke up at 3 am and 4 am by people arguing in the hallway. Last time we were there we were in an outside room and it was quiet. Other than that it was fine and affordable.

The lady was on her cell phone the entire time talking to a friend or family. She didn't acknowledge me other than to ask for my drivers license which she threw back at me when I asked her to get off the phone. The room didn't feel clean, very musty. For a king sized bed, there were 2 tiny, lumpy pillows. The people in the next room were outside talking until after 4 am. It was a place to lay our head for the night. I would not stay there again.

When I asked for help checking my booking and Wi-Fi, he refused and told me to leave the hotel. He even insulted me and made me feel unsafe. I was left carrying my heavy bag alone and couldn’t arrange a ride because I had no internet. This was unacceptable treatment, and I do not recommend staying here.”

- Edward (2/5): - When I booked the King Spa room, I wanted a nice relaxing and romantic stay for my wife and I. Checking in was fine. However, when we went into the room I could see it was not cleaned properly. First, I could not find the ice bucket. It turned up in the fridge. Secondly, my wife checked the sheets and there were long black hairs as well as pubic hair on thd sheet. We had the front desk staff change the sheets. When we looked in the side table searching for extra pillows, we found a bag of sex toys with aboit 10 dildos and other things!! Never staying there again!!!

- David (10/5): - I drove from Toronto to Cornwall and I was dead tired. I received a warm reception at First Canada Inns. Could not have been better. Quick check-in. Friendly. The guy really made me feel welcome. My room was ready for me. King bed, chair, sofa, desk, fireplace, fridge for my beer, WIFI, big screen TV for the hockey game… the whole nine yards. btw…Easy access from the highway too. Quiet and pleasant surroundings. Close to amenities in Cornwall. Way comfortable. Way relaxing. Way clean. A good night’s sleep. I’ll be back.

The chair under and around the seat. Baseboards are very dusty and when I opened the closet a piece of wood fell. Overall it was much nicer than I expected just wish it was more upkept.

The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned very well either with residual coffee in the pot from the previous occupants and no coffee cups or water glasses.

The check in guy was very combative when I questioned why I'm being charged a $100 deposit, even though I've been a customer there since 2021. There are bugs and spiders all over the covered porch. The paint is chipped , the walls are dented, the fridge is missing shelves, the cupboards are empty, yet there's a kitchen set up. The spare blanket was unfolded, quite sketchy. The bathroom walls were stained, the toilet does not flush fully on the first try. It used to be a great place, I will go elsewhere in town next time.

Rating kind of low because of the noise. There was arguing coming from behind the wall past 11pm. I'd say it's just thin walls, but the wall bordered the check in room lol

I think it used to be a smoking room. The furnishings and bed are old, the beds are not comfortable, bathroom was lacking enough towel hanging hardware. Even the toilet seat in our room was too big for the toilet itself. Would never stay here again.
