- sonia (3/5): - Breakfast was good. The hallways absolutely stink, had to hold my nose to walk down the hall. Carpeting is disgusting.
- Dwin (10/5): - To be honest everyone there was great and everyone there were working hard.
- Rizzardi (10/5): -
- Madison (6/5): Ok stay - Location is great, staff was helpful. Cleanish but very outdated and needed some repairs around the room.

- Natasha (4/5): Would never stay here again due to false advertising and extra charges. - There was a pool, pool and hot tub. Even though they were very small and mostly occupied with one family. We were able to use them after they finally left. The Ada rooms were not actually accessible and were not the rooms that are pictured on the booking app or the website. There was no rolling shower. Instead a tub that you had to up into and over the side and they gave you a footlong shower bench that most adults could not comfortably sit on. They charged your card a temporary hold of $100 for incidentals but that was not mentioned anywhere on the site or in booking the hotel either.

- Olena (10/5): - We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel! Even though it is rated around 2.5 stars, the rooms and service were truly at a much higher level. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and felt quite new, which made our stay especially comfortable.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We also really loved the pool — it was such a nice bonus, especially because it stays open late. There is also a jacuzzi in the pool area, and it was working perfectly, which was amazing! It was the perfect way to relax after a long and busy day.
Breakfast was also very good and delicious, with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

- Vogelsong (10/5): It was wonderful - The location was in a good spot. The shower was very spacious, the soaps and lotion were really nice. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed everything and we hope to stay at sleep inn again! Thank you! I wish that we could have stayed longer.
- Karen (10/5): - The location was great for our purposes. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Madison (10/5): -
- Wilma (1/5): Bad experience with the clerk who checked me in - Location was nice The staff member
- Melissa (9/5): Night getaway - Was very clean. Beds were ok Staff was pleasant. Easy check in. My granddaughter loved the hot tub and pool. Overall was a nice stay! bathroom was little small. But had nice shower.
- Courtney (4/5): Although we had a bad experience the lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. - The staff was very kind and helpful. It smelled musky. There was mold on the ceilings and walls. A lot of staining on mattress cover, looked to be bloody. We got a refund after 20 minutes of being there.
- James (5/5): Expensive for mediocrity! - Not much! Way, way, way over priced!
- Schneider (5/5): Never want to stay there again - It was warm but the same everyday Place in need of repair. Leaking sink faucet. Trouble locking door. Toilet seat was broke loose. Mildew in shower Floor never seem dirty. One day no towels and bed not made up.
- Cee (10/5): - Always helpful and friendly
- Roger (6/5): - The rooms are VERY small, the first room we were put into was so small there was no room to change with privacy ( we had our 14 year old grandson and 16 year old granddaughter with us) the bathroom door was a sliding door with a hole where the lock and latch should have been that you could see right through not to mention you had maybe 3 feet between the toilet and the shower (no tub). They were very nice and switched us to another room that was slightly bigger, but still had to have my husband and grandson leave the room and go to the sitting area while us girls got dressed and the same for us while they changed. The carpets need cleaned and the railings when you used the steps were really dirty, none of us used them. The pool is very nice and very clean though.
- Jason (10/5): - Room was spacious, breakfast was good, very helpful staff.
- R5615EEdebbieb (10/5): GREAT PLACE TO STAY - Again, this place did not disappoint us. We have stayed here in the past beccause it was a safe location. Also, it is clean & rates are reasonable. I love the friendly, welcoming staff*** SHANNON was front desk this time. She is so kind, outgoing and welcomed us back again! TY Shannon. Also, saw Tracy, in the kitchen, again. She's an asset to your hotel!!
- Charity (10/5): Great find - Very clean and staff were very nice and accommodating Everything was great
- Patricia (8/5): - Very accommodating
- William (10/5): Awesome hotel, recommended by my best friend - WOW This hotel was amazing. I will be staying here more often. Amazing staff noticed immediantly at check-in. I dropped my credit card during arrival (I have no idea how). The front desk attendant went out for a smoke, found it, and when we were leaving to retrace our steps, he stopped us, asked for my name and once verified, returned to me.It only gets better - Great breakfast. I use a rollator and the attendation offered to carry my plate to the table. Amazingly, front desk lady remembered me and my brother by name. Also great and clean hot tub and pool. There is so much to love about this hotel.
- Heather (8/5): - The property was clean. Very accessible. Staff was helpful. The only issue I have is we checked out Monday and it is now Friday and my deposit is still on hold. After speaking to my bank they said that the property still has a hold on the money.
- Jeremiah (4/5): - Room had a musty smell and the mini fridge smell was even worse. It just seemed dirty in room and made the experience not top notch. Also found an antipsychotic pill on the floor. luckily I was not traveling with young kids.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - was good
- Kristeen (10/5): - Staff was very friendly!! Thank you !
- jsh0323 (4/5): Poor conditions and lack of general manager's appropriate response. - I have stayed here over the past few years...but never again! The place has been in steady decline. My last stay was the worst! The toilet was nasty, the mattress needs replaced and when I complained to the front desk the person said "we hear that a lot!" The last morning I was planning to work from the hotel room and while I was working I got this horrific odor. I went and saw raw sewage backing up in the sink. I packed up and left. I later wrote a review that went to the hotel manager - he replied with a boilerplate response and provided no compensation. I complained to Choice Hotels and they did send me 10000 points. I responded to the hotel manager that I would like my bill to be adjusted to compensate for the fact that I had to leave early due to the raw sewage - he never responded. I sent another email 2 weeks later and again no response. My last trip I stayed at the Fairfield Inn just north of there - that was a much better experience.
- 430PaulW (10/5): We liked this Sleep Inn and would stay here again. - This Sleep Inn is located in a quiet, park-like setting. Our check in process went well. Our room was spacious and comfortable and clean. We really liked the walk in shower. Breakfast was the normal fare. This hotel seems to be maintained.
We would stay here again.
- Robert (8/5): - Nice room. Comfortable bed. Hot tub no working, which other guests mentioned was a recurring problem. Front desk staff very friendly, but management unresponsive. Left two messages for manager, who has not responded now five days later. Watch out for undisclosed "Safe and ??? Fee". I was told manager would remove and would receive updated receipt by email, which i have not yet received.
- Eugene (10/5): Worth the money - A really nice hotel and very professional staff
- kristie (10/5): - The room was very clean. The staff very friendly. The only problem we had was the sink was clogged. Still was a very nice and comfortable room.
- Brian (6/5): - Hotel is out of date. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
- Richard L. Myers (10/5): - It was fine. Needs some updating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Would stay again - Every employee we encountered was very pleasant. Hot tub and pool were fun. You can have pool noodles and diving toys, just no balls due to their sprinklers. Rooms are kinda yuck. Floors stained, sticky, and such. Just old. Beds are comfy though. Mcds right next door. Would stay again. We don’t need fancy dancy to have fun :)
- Lindsay (10/5): - Super Hotel at a SUPERB Price Point! Pool & Hot Tub were clean & well maintained; pool area was a true highlight for kids & adults alike. Breakfast was good, with hot & cold options. Overall, well maintained, clean & a great value!
- Erica (2/5): Mold and mildew - health risk! - We checked in and the window was open. The room had a slight smell but it had been raining a lot so we closed the window thinking it was the outdoors that smelled like that. We had to immediately leave for an event. Upon return at 11pm the room smelled so nauseating we couldn’t stay. The room had so much water damage and mold. We had to leave the hotel and find another hotel. The following day the shift manager told me there was water damage and they were undergoing renovation. They knowingly put someone in that room with the damage. We will be contacting the GM of the hotel for further action. As we were trying to talk to the front desk another customer came with the same problem. This hotel is a health risk. We had to find another hotel as we were too far to drive home.
- Rebecca (6/5): - The only reason that we came here was because my husband has cancer surgery this morning. We have to be there at 630 am but only reason we came was for the hot tub and it was out of service and nobody knew until my husband got into the cold hot tub
- Nigel (6/5): - Good breakfast
- scott (10/5): - Nice motel. Only issue was the WiFi sucked.
- Oscar (6/5): - They’re a little strict on pool policies meaning no balls allowed in the pool for kids to play with. Other then that everything was good.
- Heather (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Everything was clean and safe. The shower door could use a very thorough clean on the frame.
- Connie (8/5): - It is a very “basic” lodging. Clean, friendly but with very limited breakfast options.
- Amber (1/5): I got in late due to travel, hated the room, was extremely uncomfortable. I slept in my car until morning wheno could sp - Nothing. Pictures are deceiving!! The hotel is extremely dated. The beds are small. Carpets dirty, room was spot cleaned at best.
- Ana (4/5): - Property was being remodeled but there was no warnings. The entrance was partially blocked, which would not be a problem if we knew in advance. The hotel is not new but could be a little more clean
- Nicholas (10/5): Great Hotel for Travel Baseball Families. - Everything! No literally everything. The rooms were in good condition, the staff was excellent, the pool & hot tub were enjoyable, and the breakfast was really good. One more thing did I mention how awesome the staff and manager was because I want to make sure you understand they were awesome. Usually, you can find something in a Hotel that is wrong but this hotel to be honest isn't a 5 star but for a family of traveling baseball parents it was perfect. Only complaint I literally could think of is I had to slide my key card more than once on occasion to get into my room. And the no toys in the pool rule was a bummer but somebody in the past must of did something stupid, so they are preventing something from happening again.
- Michael (8/5): - It’s a serviceable hotel at a fair price. Clean and safe.
- Robin (10/5): - love the staff! the manager is outstanding! great details to breakfast for diabetics! thank you so much for details , like the battery jump pack! love this place!! will be back!!
- Holiday (10/5): - Clerks were very friendly. The hotel was nice and quiet and clean
- Bruno (9/5): Great room with a good breakfast, perfect for a short stay. - Clean room, no odors, and a great breakfast included. Nothing really relevant comes to mind, maybe only the blackout curtains didn’t block all the sunlight in the morning.
- Verl (9/5): The room was well designed with many amenities for a pleasurable stay. - Friendly competent helpful staff . The breakfast sausage wasn’t very good and the scrambled eggs was sub par- but edible.
- Angela (8/5): - Loved that it was close to baseball fields.
- Deonna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Meagan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roxanne (6/5): - Stains on the carpet in the room were a turn off.
Old decor could use a face lift.
Had a good variety of breakfast choices and was well stocked and maintained - the area was also clean.
Someone was available if you needed anything and was pleasant. :)
- Russell (10/5): - Great place
- Richard (4/5): Disappointing - Food, staff My shower had hair in it that wasn't mine or my husband's, sheets were stained, beds had no support. Toilet was small and low to the ground. Our lock on the door looked like someone had to pry it open.
- Erica (10/5): - The property is exactly what you expect and pay for- perfect for what we needed.
- Patricia (10/5): Loved it here!! Best staff, best facilities, best atmosphere-hands down number one hotel to stay at!! - I loved the staff and the pool. It was the first time I had stayed in Ohio. Honestly the pool was the best I have ever seen. I stay quite frequently in hotels in NY. and out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, I have to say the one here at Sleep Inn out beats them all. I have never been in a better pool.
The staff were absolutely amazing they all made us feel right at home. From the woman at the front desk who checked us in and always asked how we were doing when she saw us, to the general manager who is very friendly and we had a nice conversation with. Along with the lady who was working the breakfast. She was so friendly and kind. I have had a lot of experience staying in hotels as I stated and this is by far the best all around hotel I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be staying here if I ever visit Ohio again!! There honestly wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
- Amanda (5/5): Disappointing stay - Room was clean and beds was comfy and had a good breakfast. Lady that checked us out was nice. The hallway smelled going to our room kinda like cat pee and mildew. The man running the desk seemed a bit off and creeped out my teenager. Said my girls couldn't play with a ball, but a very rude woman with lots of kids was in the pool and they constantly was splashing and doing cannon balls but nothing was said about that. It was overly busy that isn't there fault but we just didn't have a good time here. And had to have a 100 dollar deposit! Pool is small and run down needs repainted and cracks all over.
- jimsP8203BV (10/5): Awesome for work - I stay in a different hotel in a different location about every week and this is one of the absolute best I’ve been in. It’s nothing fancy, but I’m not looking for that when I’m working.
The gentleman that checked me in was pleasant and quick. He explained everything about the hotel and got me in my room.
The elevator and hallway was clean. The room was clean and fresh smelling. The layout was comfortable and the bed was awesome.
I only stayed one night, but if I work in the area again, I guarantee I’ll be staying at the Sleep Inn.
- Steve (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Patty (9/5): Over night shopping trip with my girls very nice and convenient place to stay. - Breakfast was delicious and a nice selection Nothing
- W862JNdavidy (10/5): Wonderful Stay and excellent Staff - 1 May 2025

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to comment about our recent stay at the Sleep Inn in Bolivar, Ohio. Because of a house fire, we stayed there from Jan 25 thru April 28. The staff was exemplary and helped make our stay as comfortable as possible. We wish to thank Hardik Patel in particular. As the hotel manager, he went the extra mile to see to our needs. We would also like to thank staff members Kayla, Brian, Berkley, Tracy and the cleaning staff for the help and efficiency. We would almost certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Sincerely yours,
David Yuncker
- Corey (10/5): - Nice for the price.
- Giordano (5/5): Passable -
- Katie (10/5): Impressed - I was really impressed with the updates they made to this hotel. The room was super clean and the pool was warm. I couldn’t have asked for more.
- Lisa (10/5): - Great hotel to stay at
- Kimberly (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (4/5): The stay is a good value if you want to save money and don’t mind the noise. - The property had a great hot breakfast. The lady was very nice and pleasant. She was kind and helpful. The location had some good options nearby. There was also a grocery store close as well. The shower was amazing great size and water pressure. The noise is crazy. We were on the first floor and when the people above us flushed their toilet it sounded like the bottom was falling out. Our tv was hard to hear and needed turned way up for us to be able to hear. The remote was also not in great working condition.
- Charita (4/5): - The bed was uncomfortable, the room smelled, the blackout curtains were ripped, not enough lights, no hair dryer, showerhead was in poor condition as was the toilet lid. The wallpaper looked like they were covering up bad walls. Not enough room to eat breakfast.
- Margaret (10/5): - This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and both times our experience was awesome. The pool is the perfect temperature. Breakfast is small but good. Great nights sleep the beds are so comfortable. Will be back.
- Zabrina (10/5): - Nice quiet area
- Randy (10/5): - Okay
