Guest Reviews
- Robert (9/5): It wàs restful ñ à good time - Big comfy bed shower head adjustable good seats n lights
- Greg (7/5): - Convenient, good price.
- Theresa (3/5): Needs better housekeepers that can mop or use a deodorizer. - The location was right off the freeway. The room smelled awful!. IT was nauseated. We tolerated it till about 7am and then had to leave. We arrived about 1030pm. We were desparate so we stayed. I know we have pets but as a pet owner our house does not smell so I would think a hotel should not smell either. The bed was super hard. Like a board was there.
- Fox (8/5): Overall, very good. Nothing really negative at all. - I don't think there was any breakfast provided. The reception area was cluttered and unprofessional looking.
- Carol (7/5): Easy to get too, restaurant very close!! - Good price for clean room Ants in the bathroom 🤗
- Grime (10/5): -
- Md Abu Eabrahim (2/5): - We dont get the WiFi and also there is no telephone to contract the service. Didn’t like our stay here.
- Steve (7/5): -
- Culver (1/5): Screwed Over and Charged Twice - Nothing, treated like crap. I was charged twice. Once by the motel and once by booking.com. So I was charged twice and neither place has refunded my money. No one seems to care. I just get the run around since June 17, 2025. It is now August 5, 2025. I am pissed.
- Daniel (9/5): Clean room. Comfortable beds. Would recommend. - Very nice room. Clean with comfortable beds. The refrigerator was great and a nice size with a good freezer section for our ice packs. Great room for a great price. Good value. Thank you! The Internet was a little slow. Everything else was great.
- Limin (6/5): - Good
- James (8/5): -
- Derrick (7/5): Never again - Infested Bad management
- Baumgart (4/5): Did not meet the advertised amenities. - They accommodated a need for a first floor room. No window or door exit in second sleeping area in case of emergency.
No breakfast
Loose outlet. Sparking outlet.
Locked front lobby
Sofa sleeper end torn with staples exposed
- Julie (5/5): Never again - Nothing very old and stinky Ac was not turned in and took hours to cool stinky room

- Irakli (1/5): Bad -
- Christy (5/5): Passable -
- Shirley (7/5): Good -
- Michael (2/5): Not good! Are you even trying? - Location, price There was vomit on the ground in front of our door when we arrived. We put some food out for our dog and it was covered in ants within minutes in February! The curtain had been pulled loose so the last foot was just hanging. There were actual stains on the sheets! The cover for the light in the room fell off. And no one had plowed the parking lot.
- Grime (9/5): Superb -
- Hier (5/5): Good sleep & shower - Bed was clean & comfortable, room temp was comfortable and shower was good. It’s nothing fancy but when you need a place to sleep during your travels, this will suffice. Person checking guests in was not pleasant and was difficult to communicate with. She had me sign for the rate, the paper had a room number on it, she gave me a key and told me different room number. I questioned her because why would I sign for a room that I sm not going to occupy. She then scratched out the room number on the paper and hand wrote the room number she gave me. Very strange behavior.

- Janet (6/5): Pleasant - Big room, comfortable bed. Decent price. No blow dryer, missing part to the coffee maker. Couldn't make coffee. No place to get ice. Dried food in the microwave. Fridge wasn't on. Toothpaste in the sink. Was not overly clean.
- Grime (6/5): Pleasant -

- Jeff (8/5): Decent price an would recommend it traveling on a budget - Didn’t know breakfast was even served, we got up an went home an made breakfast The holes in the wall by the light switch, that’s a violation of fire , fire extension easily if a fire broke out ( just saying )
- James (2/5): Bed bugs - Quiet Other tenant walked around in underwear leaving room door open. Plus I was all bitten up after 1st night by bed bugs. Had housekeeping strip the room down to the mattresses and vacuum thoroughly. I was very hesitant to stay the second night. My girlfriend went home after 1st night
- Kevin (6/5): Pleasant -
- J2001 (4/5): Disappointing - The location was convenient.
Price.
The next door diner was excellent. Worn down, dirty.
- Janet (8/5): Reasonable and comfortable - Everything worked. Bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed. Room was big, had a table and chairs which we really liked. Had some peeling paint throughout. But it didn't affect our comfort.
- Price (1/5): Don't stay here!! - Close location Very dirty, plugs wouldn't stay in electric sockets. Bedding wasn't clean. Carpet gross. Didn't use shower tub dirty, slept in my cloths. Nightstand was full of ants. Very run down. White spots on bedspread. Couldn't find my reservation. but had it on my phone. Can see daylight under the door.
- Chandler (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theresa (7/5): Good - Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Beds were a little too hard for my liking.
Very basic room with a nice size fridge and microwave.
Very peaceful and quiet. Overall, we were happy.
We will consider staying again. Bed was a little too hard. Could feel the springs.
- James (5/5): Passable - Ok No wyfi
- Jamie (7/5): Good -
- Shannon (1/5): Never again!! - location Everything else. It was dirty. The door didn't lock. Bed was hard as a rock. Peeling ceiling, broken table, bugs, stained bedding and dirty carpet
- Chandler (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and we had clean towels tooth days. The price was perfect. I didn't really find anything I didn't like.i live around here and just wanted a cheaper room cuz my girlfriend as coming for the weekend.
- Kogut (5/5): Eh. - Everything except the beds The beds. Very uncomfortable. May as well be sleeping on the floor.
- Ammons (3/5): Poor - Didn't receive my choice points for my stay.
- Tony-sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The host is very nice
- Tony-sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamala (1/5): We stayed for emergency due to road trip . This place seems good outside but inside is not worth . - Room has lot of fly and spiders web this place is not worth of living for overnight… I wouldn’t Recomend to anyone. I have been chasing almost a hour to kill mosquitoes, fly and spider 🕷️ Floor is not clean it’s smelly, ceiling has peeling paint …
- Marjorie (3/5): Not worth the money at all. - Convenient access from the toll road; excellent restaurant next door, air conditioner in room worked well. Upon arrival, person at the desk said they had no rooms; lobby was closed for renovation, so there was nothing available for breakfast; no ice machine, pillows on bed were old and lumpy; only one coffee packet in room (2 guests), and the price was as much as I paid for other places with a breakfast and pool.
- William (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing It was filthy, nothing worked, no cable, no phone, it was a dump
- Ira (1/5): Never never never stay in a Roadside in again. Very bad experience. - nothing ,almost got hurt when walking in the room, the door hit the floor when only 1/3 open. sink was filthy. was garbage in the trash can by the sink, the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. the lady at front desk barely spoke english and was combative when I asked to leave a day early and was going to penalize me $68 for leaving a day early when I let her know a day earlier that I had to leave the next morning and that My stay was approved for early cancelation with no penalty! You should look into this motel as you are representing them. Room 125 Had to ask 3 time for a receipt for my first day. BBBBad
- Braund (1/5): HORRIBLE - Nothing Cleanliness !! the place was filthy and stunk. The towels were grimy, we literally went to Walmart and got sleeping bags and slept in a field at the event we attended, the room was unbearable !!!
- Kammal (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (2/5): Bad, left property to find another motel, with refund - Outside appearance of building Room had not been cleaned, bed sheets had been slept in. Stool did not flush
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nabil (3/5): Poor -
- J (10/5): Modest hotel for a modest price for modest expectations. - I liked the smoking rooms and the timelessness of its age. Its charming in its own way, where i can escape from everything hyper-new and just enjoy the room for what it is. The shower curtains and wash cloths need replaced.
- Thomas (4/5): Disappointing -
- Wyss (5/5): Passable - The location was just off the freeway, the room was bigger than most, and the staff were responsive. The sheets were dirty and we asked for replacements which were quickly brought.
The mattress was a bit hard.
The room was advertised as having breakfast, when in reality there was no breakfast offered.
- Tom (4/5): Disappointing - Stale cigarette smell, bathroom shower had hair all over it
- Powell (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (4/5): Disappointing - The woman who seemed to always be on duty was pleasant and helpful. Even though they were exchanged, the towels and bathmat in my room were damp on arrival. The two small pillows seemed inadequate for a king bed.
- Powell (8/5): Very good -
- Powell (8/5): Very good -
- Powell (8/5): Very good -
- Smith (1/5): They said my reservation never existed but still charged my credit card - Nothing Everything
- Roger (1/5): I will never go back and I will tell my friends - What breakfast we had to go down the street and buy our breakfast. I ordered a non smoking room they gave us a smoking room. broken lights, lights without bulbs. Dirty bathroom. Walls, holes in doors. Do I really need to go on? The pace was bad.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was very cozy and the staff was courteous. I will definitely use this hotel again
- Verified traveler (4/5): Basic room for a quick overnight stay - Very basic amenities, neat but not super clean. Old room with a strong smell of cigarettes. Breakfast included (but not recommended). Sufficient for a single night's stay.
- Cris (6/5): Decent hotel - The room & service were fine except for the shower - the temperature was luke warm at best even with the water on full blast.
- James (2/5): Pay more- go elsewhere, worth it. - This was an overnight stay, 3 day trip. Bed was comfortable. Able to park in front of room door. Front Desk attendant was a very nice young man. Everything else was substandard. No drain plugs for bath, or sink. Bathroom sink drain was badly plugged up... danger of overflowing. Coffee maker was in room (as advertised) but no coffee for respective coffee maker. TV remote had problems with channel selection - inconsistent function.
- Name (2/5): - It was very bad. The towels were dirty. Not recommend.
- Kenneth (6/5): Average - I'd stay somewhere else in the future - The facility was older and room was dated. The room was average or slightly below average. The receptionist was friendly and checked me in quickly and efficiently. I would only stay again in a pinch.
- Thomas (4/5): Worst time ever - Everything was broke. The tv didn't work, could see light all the way around the door and leaked freaking cold air. Heater had so much dust in it I turned it on and it blew dust everywhere. Microwave door was broke. And didn't even have a clock in the room.
- Yassar (8/5): - Good hotel for the price, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast only had cereals and muffins and no coffee.
- Elaine S (8/5): Good - Near the highway but not too near so it wasn’t noisy. The room met expectations.
- m (2/5): - Made a reservation 3 days before arrival. Realizing I would be arriving late, I CALLED AHEAD to ask for any special instructions and to confirm. When I arrived, reception was quite rude. When I opened the door of the room my eyes and nose were violently assaulted by filth. The room was an ashtray. I went back to reception and explained that I requested a non smoking room and was told that that was the last room. I chose to sleep in my car. I am still waiting for refund.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was not clean and had a odor of cigarettes.
- Mark (8/5): Good rest stop by the Interstate. - This was a last-minute stay because of winter storm "Bella". After we booked the room we called ahead and the front desk person was friendly and helpful with our questions. The room was clean and all was in order. The heat worked great, the shower was hot and there was a flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave. The free breakfast was only so-so. Good roodside place to stay en route to your final destination.
- John (6/5): good for overnight - Room was better than I expected based on reviews. It was clean clean sheets and room was very comfortable even on a snowy night.
- Steve (4/5): Econolodge--Montpelier, OH - OK place to crash for the price while visiting relatives who live in the rural area nearby. The TV only had 10 channels, The HVAC was really loud, "Breakfast" consisted of orange juice and stale donuts. Only 2 other cars in the parking area over night.Smoke detector had been pulled down and was sitting on the TV cabinet(to create "smoking room", no doubt!) The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really comfy.
- Rod (8/5): Econo Lodge - It was a nice and clean hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced for what it is - If the price were lower I'd rate it higher. It's a dump.
- Brenda (10/5): Nice surprise! - Very friendly staff. Easy check in. Clean comfortable room for the affordable price.
- Ann (6/5): This Motel is inaccurately placed on GoogleMaps - We spotted this motel way before reaching the iPhone Maps destination coordinates, so decided to stop to check if it were the correct one, just in case. It was, so we were fortunate we had not wasted time spinning about in a corn field. Home-cooked food at restaurant was nice; closes before 10 p.m. Continental breakfast in motel is limited. USA Today is available.
- Zeke (6/5): Had to stop in the middle of nowhere on Route 80 - Planned a family trip that had us between Cleveland and Chicago and knew that weneeded to stop. This was the least expensive option that had 2 queen beds. We got what we paid for, so I was not disappointed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for quick overnight. - The hotel was fine and comfortable.
