- Tim (7/5): - Convenient and affordable
- Jenni (2/5): Not recommended - Free breakfast Very run down ! Police were there I didn’t feel safe.
- Filip (5/5): - Price was good and was fairly quiet Hot tub was dirty,TV had vertical lines in it,someone apparently threw something at it and damaged screen, light cover was missing, booked smoking room didn't have one available
- Winsell (3/5): - Nice big room Bed was too hard, maids came in the room with us still inside, location is horrible.
- Donna (7/5): If you are on a budget and need a one night place to stay, give it a try. - It was a comfortable place to sleep. It looked sketchy outside. A country me of males were walking in and out of the parking lot that did not belong.
No coffee maker in the room.
- Katia (6/5): I wouldn't stay here - Staff were helpful and friendly They had construction on half the motel, strange people hanging around outside. It smelled most of the night like burning food. Breakfast was awful. The location is sketchy.
- Farmer (1/5): Blamed Bookings.com to refund "wrong" reservation date. Determined that facility (hotel) declined. - Nothing. Fraud reservation. Dishonest representation of staff. Patrons in bare feet in breakfast area. Disgusting.

- Warren (2/5): definitely not going to be staying in this location in the future - hot tub broken, computer wasn't working at front desk, electrical issues in the room, construction noise and loud music in the adjacent hallway, no garbage basket in room.
- Patrick (7/5): - The Staff was very friendly The beds were not that great and the pillows needed to be replaced
- Bobbi (7/5): Good but overpriced - Location was great. It was clean and quiet. Everything we needed was close by. Pool and hot tub were not working. I think it was overpriced. Breakfast was lacking. Need a bit more variety. Some fruit and yogurt would be nice
- Beatriz (5/5): I rested well - Friendly service It was under renovation and the bathroom sliding door stained the towels I hope I don’t get charged for it
- Joseph (10/5): -
- Lamia (2/5): Terrible and will not stay again again - The stuff was great 1. It's totally overpriced ($122) for what you "get" (100% lack of comfort and cleanliness; the worst soaps you can get on the market; very few towels).
2. Noise: my kid and I woke up 5 times during the night - people were slamming doors and yelling at 2:35 AM, 4 AM, 5 AM - absolutely no quiet hours! - the worst part of the visit. They should refund me 100% - but when I complained, a staff member said that he was sorry - well, I have nothing from him being sorry.
3. Breakfast: terrible
4. Pool and hot tub: Pool too small, hot tub - not functioning
- Amy (1/5): DID NOT STAY COULD NOT HANDLE THE SMELL. - Absolutely nothing it was horrible under construction couldn’t get to our room. The hot tub was shut down by state. This motel smelled of mold. Had construction going on with beds in the halls windows blocked by mattresses. Locked doors broke and not locking.

- Ray Wilber (10/5): -
- Mark (1/5): It sucked, I would not recommend - 1st room we were in had mold in the AC unit lights didn't work and connecting door would not lock and they had another guest in that room. Second room they put us didn't have a working key so staff had to let us in anytime we left the room. We found roaches in the room ceiling were full of cobwebs. There were only 2 towels for the room, we had a room for four people. windows didn't lock. We couldn't get a different room because they were full and other hotel were full due to city sporting tournaments.Expect a refund!
- Jeffrey (1/5): didnt stay and tried to cancel online and wouldn't let us - stopped and looked at wasnt clean and left tried to cancel online but wouldn't let us
- Carol (6/5): They gave us anew room 2nd day but really wanted hot tub - Clean and good location Heater in first room wasn’t working properly The pool and hot tub were out of order.
- Dequan (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Great value and hard working staff. - Value is first. The friendly staff helps. I believe they do an amazing job with thousands of people to the very best of their ability and budget. I probably needed a block of instruction to get the heater set correctly. Im also old and don't see well so... next stay I'll ask for help
- Matt (10/5): - Friendliness of staff, very accomodating Everything was great
- Lybarger (10/5): -
- Jerry (8/5): -
- Talamantes (7/5): -
- Samuel (5/5): - Energy drinks left in the bathroom heather don't work Price
- Daniel (7/5): Nice - Nice None
- Tina (1/5): Worst experience I've had at a hotel. - Nothing Dirty room in poor condition. No night security. Unregistered guests in and out all night long. No acceptable pet area. Dirty towels. Noisy. Paper thin walls. Could hear guests in next room using toilet (not just flushing). Situation with unregistered guest required local police intervention. Night manager handled situation very poorly.
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Greg (3/5): - Run down and dirty
- corey (3/5): It was a roof over our head for the night but wouldn’t stay there again. - It was close off the highway, it was a cheaper pet friendly hotel The place was run down, bedspread had a burn hole in it. The hotel smelled. Most everything hasn’t been updated in 30+ years. The pool was closed and that was a big reason we wanted to stay there.
- Julie (3/5): Needs updating in all areas. - Good location when traveling. Not enough pillows on bed or towels in room or pool area.
- Tabatha (4/5): Highly disappointed - There were insects of some kind crawling in the d
Beds. Bathroom sink was clogged toilet hardly flushed. The hot tub jets were not working, and also had a layer of film on top of the water.
- Charles (10/5): I'll be seeing you again my friends -
- Coltan (1/5): - Dirty and run down and the whole place smelt like Marijuana
- Cora (1/5): -
- Paige (3/5): Find somewhere else. Terrible location - Breakfast is sub par, unkept cleanliness. Paper thin walls, black mold in rooms, dirty beds
- Shawna (7/5): -
- Danirl (1/5): Spend a couple extra bucks to stay away from here - Price was right Was charged a fee by the property for amenities also advertised breakfast was shut down also was charged a security deposit for 2 nights stay.
- Matt (1/5): -
- Jean (9/5): -
- JESUS EDUARDO (4/5): below average - Conditions of the room not really average, but I was staying only one night. they ask for 50 Dlls deposit, money is not back, and in my bank account it has been already charged.
- Eddie (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Sofia (1/5): I meant to book it for a week before so when I got there they wouldn’t change my dates - Nothing Everything was so bad and uncomfortable
- Jason (9/5): -
- Graham (9/5): -
- Donna (8/5): -
- Jaylon (2/5): - Nothing The list goes on
- Medina (1/5): It's like a scam they tell you what you want to hear to get you to stay and get you for your money - Nothing about today staying in Econo Lodge was good, once I book it on bookin.com and I went to the front desk it were two different charges then a couple dollars fee for debit or credit card then the guy told me one price for deposit then he tells me another price and then he tells me in the morning they will give me a receipt and when the morning comes the front desk guy tells me something else, sorry I don't recommend any one here all they do is lie and tell you sorry and come the next time the same thing happens its like a scam Nothing about it is ok
- Lange (1/5): -
- Julie Dreamer (1/5): - There was cockroaches
- Frey (1/5): Room cleanliness - These rooms are not clean, hallways smelled like smoke. The room was strong like cleaners! Couches had stains, very dingey, not recommended! These rooms are not clean, hallways smelled like smoke. The room was strong like cleaners! Couches had stains, very dingey, not recommended!
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Kevin (1/5): Won't go back there again - The location was great The gal at the front desk was very busy with someone else in the backroom. Didn't look like she was an employee. Felt like we were rudely interrupting her conversation and a pain in the back side to her.
THE BED BELONGS IN A DUMP! The table in the room had such a sticky finish on it, you couldn't pick up the key card because it was stuck to the table!
- Abernethy (1/5): Vile trash - There is nothing to like. This is one of those hotels that does the VOA homeless rooms, which in a better world could be a good thing. Instead, there were drunks in the parking lot throwing up and call girls walking through the hallways. My wife and I saw the lady of the night knock on the door to the room next to us and then heard the result. Our bathtub was broken, the vent in the bathroom was broken, the room was barely maintained. The broken vent was thrown under the bedroom sink.
We reserved 2 rooms as our 4 children came with us. The booking said it had an indoor pool, but it was shut down. The bathroom in the lobby was out of service, and our rooms were on different floors on different sides of the building. The booking made it clear we were traveling with our children. The kids' room had two beds, which were split between them. After we checked out of the hotel and made other arrangements we noticed that two of our kids had bad bug bites.... I mean wow....DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
- alma (2/5): - It was really dirty, and it looks very bad from the outside unsafe. Plus the breakfasts isn't even worth it what you pay for
- Kandice (1/5): - Uncomfortable and has bugs
- Jodi (6/5): - Gross filthy rooms and property. The lobby may have been somewhat updated but nothing else. Felt like I just stayed at an hourly motel from the 70’s
- Rhett (4/5): - Property needs remodeled.
- ROBERT (10/5): - the stay was just fine , the room was clean and the person at the front was nice
- Glenn (8/5): - Pleasant experience, good value
- Sandra (10/5): - No lamps. Only an overhead light. Breakfast is continental waffles toast muffins. No eggs or sausages. Shower was great. Good spray. Lots of hot water. Good for the price. Had to go to gas station for breakfast.
- Gary (7/5): Cheap price for a comfortable room and towel linens were clean and in good condition. - Low cost clean room for night stay while traveling thru area. Room was comfortable and towel linens were clean and in good condition. Dated but well kept.
- Dawn (7/5): I was happy they were able to accomodate and extra night stay. - It was easy to get to and had amenities nearby The rooms were fairly small and the breakfast was minimal.
- Matthew (6/5): - Just ok. You get what you pay for.
- Robert (6/5): Not A Great Experience! - Not a very good experience. Was a little early getting there wanted to charge for early check in, so we waited. Room / bathroom not very clean, odd smell, toilet would not flush. Housekeeping walked into the room.......... We did not even stay in the room that should tell you how it was. We left!!!
- Randall (4/5): - The hot did not work and breakfast was terrible, water down waffle mix, no egss stail muffins, but good coffe
- Douglas (2/5): - People banging on walls. Dogs barking. The first time I have ever been charged an extra 50 bucks for incidentals. And they were upset because I had already paid for the room so they couldn’t charge more for room in person. Never again will I stay in a econo lodge. I rate this placed a 0
- Shayla (4/5): - I paid 50 for my dogs and then get to my room and there’s burnt cigarette holes in both comforters, no hot water, blood in pillow case and human hair everywhere
- Lyle (4/5): - They will charge you an extra fee just to stay. Room wasn’t the best the pool didn’t have any chlorine in it. Spa didn’t work.
- amelia (3/5): Expensive fees and price for a place that didn’t even have hot water. Guests were extremely loud. Only got a few hours o - Location No hot water. Overpriced pet fees. Loud guests.
- Jahna (2/5): - gross
- David winkelman (1/5): Didn't Stay how About my Refund Immediately - They didn't let me Stay in got there paid Expedia and you said it was for the next day I Want my money Back Immediately
- Marianne (5/5): Convenient and adequate. Perhaps over-priced. - Location worked well for my needs. Water leak in hallway upon arrival. Bumpy hallway carpet. Breakfast had no fruit nor real cream for coffee. WiFi was not consistent in room
- Kevin (4/5): - I set up and paid my reservation online a day before. At check in I had to pay an additional service fee of $2.50. I also made the mistake of getting a smoking room that smells nasty. I was offered another room for a fee. I will never trust Expedia again when they say this is your total price including fees at time of payment. It's obviously a lie.
- Christy (2/5): - This place was sketchy. Do not let the office fool you beause it was okay. But, when we walked in the hallway there is no air and it was hot all the doors of the rooms were scratched and when we entered the room there were burns in the bedspread and a musty nasty smell. We did not stay and asked for a refund.
- chris (2/5): Reservation is useless during Sturgis - Econo lodge souix falls canceled my reservation while I was in transit to their hotel. I spoke to their front desk at 9pm confirming my arrival time of 1am and they said that the late check in was ok.
However when I arrived they gave my room away and said they refunded the stay.
They did not, I now have to fight to get reimbursed for a room I was refused.
- Neal (8/5): - A lot of people coming and going all night long. Doors were always left open never locked
- Gerard (6/5): - We came to town to see the Hardy concert and just needed an affordable place to stay. This met all our needs. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We never made it to the complimentary breakfast but it looked like a nice set up! The pool was small but ok. The hot tub was hot, but didn’t circulate and was a bit cloudy! The staff were very nice, most were just being trained. The property is very run down. Carpets in the hallways were old, but clean. The ceiling tiles were old and def need replacing. The hotel is dated and it does need a makeover. But if you need a quick stop and don’t want to pay a lot, this is your place. Arby’s is right next door as is Burger King and mcdonald’s. There is also a fun dive bar across the street (the Red Eye Bar). While I can’t rate this hotel 5 stars, it was it exactly what we required and fit the budget. Good times in Sioux Falls!
- Roger (8/5): -
- Ahmed (2/5): - Not very clean. Staff were nice
- Ian (4/5): - We had problems with the toilet, it wouldn’t flush properly. We told someone and they said they would send someone over to come check it out. Later a guy did come by and we told him what was going on, he then proceeded to say “okay I will let them know” this was the last thing we ever heard of them. The toilet never got fixed. Also the bedsheets had stains on them. The bathroom sink didn’t work either and it was dirty. Not very satisfied with this stay :(
