Guest Reviews
- Justine (9/5): -
- Susan (8/5): - It was in a very convenient location. Clean and close to restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet despite being close to the elevator. It was a great value for the price we paid. The facility is in need of a serious refresh to update and fix some aged bathroom fixtures and plug-in outlets. The dining room was also clean but upholstery was in need of attention. The kitchen/food area was immaculate, but the dining space needs cosmetic help.

- Henry O (10/5): Great - Location and access Front desk clerk Tammy was unfriendly
- Linda (10/5): Water slide was icing on top. Room was great, very quiet, I will stay here again - Staff was friendly, the water park and hot tub were wonderful after a long drive. The coffee tasted like instant
- Nadine (10/5): - No issues w our stay
- Airene (2/5): - This property is not dirty, it’s Filty! When you walk to the carpet, makes the bottom of your feet black. We have to go to bath tub and wash off our feet before getting in bed!
- Steven (10/5): - Place was nice and convenient for what I needed
- Michael (10/5): - Kids loved the water slides.
- Henry O (10/5): Perfect for us - Everything we needed and wanted and walking distance from are favorite dining establishments Nothing
- Marcia (8/5): - Room was accommodating with a sitting area. Beds were comfy! Chairs in the breakfast area are very raggedy & need to be recovered or replaced. Breakfast was a good variety! Great attendant!
Gal at the front desk could learn some customer service & tact! Felt like she was always patronizing & talking down to us! Example: Pointed over her shoulder “sign on the wall” when asked where the ice machine was! Always seemed annoyed.
Would stay here again.
- Vincent (10/5): - More teas and coffee flavors.
- Barb (4/5): Needs updating - People were nice and it was clean. but man this is an old hotel and it shows. Everything is older. Needs updating for sure. Hotel needs updating its old and run down.
- Kayla (6/5): pool was closed - room was clean, staff were friendly, but the pool and kiddy pool were closed and i guess it was closed for about a week prior to me staying there. it was my sons 16th bday party. i think they should have called or emailed their guests with reservations and informed us of that.
- Lisa (2/5): Terrible. We won't stay again. - Morning staff were rude, hotel needs massive upgrade, door lock was broken, shower was dirty, pillows were terrible, pool and slide were broken which allowed way too many people in the other pool with no monitoring or rules. Kids were climbing up slides. toddler slide was dangerous with only landing on a mat. Breakfast was below average.
- scherr (8/5): Great stay - Really enjoyed the room and the pool area. Kids had a lot of fun on the slides. Beds were really comfortable also. Had no issues with this hotel
- Lisa (2/5): Money manipulation - I didn’t actually stay because they were charging over $300 a night because of the United tribes pow wow. Ridiculous!!! Shame on them for price gauging. Yuck. Don’t stay here…..ever.
- Jessica Marie (8/5): - Hotel was clean. Great pool area. Twice while I was there, I had to wait at the front counter for over 15 minutes for someone to help me. Once when I checked in and once when I had to get my key card fixed.
- Maria Joanna (6/5): - Front desk is not very friendly. Not very welcoming.
- Susan (10/5): - Great
- Hae (8/5): - It was alright. Old hotel.
- Takeru (8/5): -
- Karli (6/5): - The lady at the front desk was very rude. Toilet was broken when we arrived. Property is pretty run down.
- Mary (6/5): - Na Check in process.there was only 1 person working desk at 4pm check in and at least 5 groups waiting to check in. At check out next day at 7:30 Am there was no one at desk to close out account.front desk left unattended for at least 10 min.so I put room key on desk and left without printout of charges. Not good
- Verified traveler (8/5): Okay place to stay - Friendly staff. Pool area was dirty and little kids part was out of order. Breakfast wasn't great, not enough options
- Kacie (8/5): Fun for kids but not fancy - Breakfast was pretty limited. Room was clean. Hotel is run-down. We stay because it is one of the cheaper ones and kids love the slides/pool. And the hot-tub is actually hot.
- heather marcia (10/5): - Great customer service.
- Bruce (6/5): - The breakfast was nice hot and tasty. Our room had the bathroom door pretty much destroyed from a dog. The people who clean should look at details like the shower rod falling. Destroyed doors. Other than that it was a nice
- Andrietta (8/5): Nice quiet but need better beds. - Breakfast Beds were to hard and the water slide for the babies was not working.
- Laura (6/5): - Offered a nice size room for our family with 5 small kids. Toddler friendly water area was out of order which is the main reason we chose this hotel. Several small little spots in our room that weren't the cleanest. Friendly staff, assisted with what we needed.
- Casey (4/5): - The only reason I gave it two stars was because my husband and kids braved the pool and had more than enough fun on the unregulated waterslides.
The staff was friendly, but it was so gross. Our room had wine/juice splashed up the wall, orange fingers prints rubbed on the walls, leftover scotch tape from someone else on the wall, mold on the bathroom floors. The bottom of the doors were worn off. There weren’t any linens for the fold-out couch, which felt like a pile of springs. The elevator smelled like wet dog and had dirt and trash in the cracks. And the pool room, well I’m fairly certain it never gets cleaned…gum smeared all over the floor, grime and dirt on the stairs, a shelf visible on the way up the slide full of items people threw on top of the quarter inch of dust. The water in the pools looked clean though!
- Vianney (2/5): - Room was humid and moldy. There were stains on walls.
- Allison (8/5): - Staff was nice, breakfast was good, waterslides were great. Room was comfortable but dated
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff was very nice - room was ok.
Pool area was very dirty and never cleaned throughout the day. Breakfast was very poor and as things went empty took days to re fill them
- Angela (9/5): -
- Sara (8/5): - Staff make it way better than it is. This place is run down and tired but the front desk lady, the breakfast guy, the maintenance people, all were very nice, extremely helpful and made is a pleasant stay. The hotel needs updating though and the breakfast area is in desperate need of new furniture.
- Tammy (8/5): - Food options near by were nice. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Stains on the couch.
- James (10/5): - Water slides were great!
- Billie (2/5): - I was disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The room was not very clean, and the bathtub did not drain properly, which made showering unpleasant. There were also not enough basic supplies provided in the room. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable during check-in, as the front desk staff asked questions that I felt were inappropriate. Overall, my experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.
- Peter (6/5): - Needs updating. Attention to detail wasn’t there. Mediocre breakfast and coffee.
- Jamie (2/5): - The first room I was assigned was on the 2nd floor. The elevator smelled like marijuana and also the hallway on the way to our room. We were put into a different room on the first floor.
The big yellow slide was not working at the time of our stay.
On the morning checkout, I heard someone trying to get into our room with a key. There was a male guest that was able to get into our room. Luckily, I had the door latched shut. When I went to go tell the staff about the incident and how that could possibly happen, they were dismissive and did not want to take accountability. I had to ask to speak to the manager. The manager could not explain to me how another guest’s key was programmed to get into my room. She was not too invested in explaining how that could happen, nor did she seem interested in investigating this major safety issue.
- C (7/5): - Close to interstate and the room size was good. Did not expect the $100 charge (hold) on my card on top of what I paid when I checked in. Additionally, parts of the pool area were closed, which we were unaware of prior to booking.
- Bethany (4/5): - We had room with sleeper sofa and no linens. We asked the front desk and all they had was a comforter. The pool area had no towels so we asked the front desk and they didn't have any of those either. Mattress was very dirty under the sheet. The breakfast was out of creamer and apple juice. If it weren't for the water slides I would say skip this place.
- Susan (6/5): - Lobby chairs looked stained and the lobby was small and not inviting.
- Vincent (6/5): - A facility shared with another hotel.
- Vanessa (4/5): Dangerous and frustrating - There were no pool towels and the staff would not give us more than 2 towels to dry off with after the pool, we are a family of 5. There were a dozen kids in the pool that were throwing balls, standing up on the water slides so other kids could not go down, and being so disruptive that my kids could not swim in the same area. There was music pounding until well past 11pm. The toiletries in the bathroom were mismatched and sparse. There was brown dripping liquid coming from the toilet onto the floor. We will not be returning.
- Henry (10/5): Great stay - Location close to favorite restaurant
Elevator was very helpful
Friendly staff Nothing
- Henry (10/5): Awesome - Location close to favorite restaurant
Elevator was very helpful
Friendly staff
Stay here every time I’m in Bismarck and they have available rooms Nothing
- Brian (4/5): - When I first checked in the person behind the counter did not make eye contact with me. The slide was broken, which is why I booked that hotel in the first place. The breakfast was supposed to be served until 10 but had a sign taped over it changing it to nine. I booked this hotel because of the 10 o’clock breakfast. The entire room just felt unclean.
- yuliya (10/5): - Nice new hotel. Wish they had grills for use
- Andrea (10/5): - Convenient location close to freeway and easy to drive around Bismarck to see the Capital building area and the Missouri River.
- Holly (6/5): - Its an older hotel.
had to ask for the slide to be turned on, and pool towels delivered.
One slide was out of order.
- Daniel (6/5): - Service was adequate but the person seemed tired and overwhelmed. Pool busy and out of towels. Room needs more electrical outlets or electronic plugs
- Rebecca (8/5): Better than average - Overall the hotel was pretty nice. Our toilet was leaking along the base causing a slipping hazard and the A/C unit didn't cool well, but for a quick one-night trip, it was good.
- kenneth (10/5): - A great room, although the bathroom could use some upgrades. There are craked floor tiles, clogged drain, damaged door, etc.
The gal at the front desk needs to learn a bit about customer service and learn how to smile.
- Kourtney (6/5): Mediocre - The staff were very friendly. But the beds were like sleeping on the floor. Very hard. The shower faucet was spraying water out of it. Other than that, it was a noce stay. Kids had a lot of fun in the pool.
- Faron (10/5): - Would have been 5 stars across the board, but 1 water slide was out of service. And the pool with the working water slide was not heated. Room very clean, beds very comfy.
Staff super friendly and thoroughly explained room charges and deposits. Will be staying here again
- Mars (4/5): - The stay was OK. They accidentally turned off our key cards a day early. The pool slide was broken, and the pool did not have any towels and when I asked for some for family the concierge would only give me one.
- Kayleigh (2/5): Dont recommend, should be a 1 star hotel - Location Well, the big slide which was the reason we chose it was out of order. Every single door was hard to open or would get stuck. There was a odor to our room, and very run down. The price was insanely high this hotel should have been a 1 star. Needs major updates, the breakfast quality was horrible we didn't eat there.
- Heidi (8/5): - Hotel was clean and staff were friendly.
- Ashley (10/5): - Quick and easy check in and check out
- Ashley (10/5): - Enjoyed all of it
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (6/5): - I'll start with this: if you need somewhere to stop for the night on your way thru, it would be fine. But for more than one night I'd find elsewhere.
The room wasn't really clean. We found previous people's items on the floor, crumbs, and hair in the bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable and the sheets had holes in them. I went down to get sheets and pillows for the pull out couch and the girl acted like it was an absolute inconvenience and brought 1 small pillow up because "that's all we have". One room key didn't work at any given point (something we heard other people having issues with).
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Watered down apple juice, sausage that somehow cooked burned, waffle maker (but it was out of batter when we went down).
The parking lot was awful. There's maybe 25 spaces.
The location is great though!
- Amanda (6/5): - Booked for the pool area, except they have a sign when you come in that says one water slide is broken, the kids area is broken, and the pool heat is broken on the other pool. Asked for sheets, blanket, and pillows for the pull out couch, the staff huffed and said "I'll bring it in a minute". She brought ripped up sheets and one pillow saying that's all she had. Blankets and sheets al had holes in them. Beds were really uncomfortable. Breakfast was a waffle maker, one choice of juice, eggs and sausage that looked really over cooked. We went day one and decided it wasn't worth going back again.
If you need somewhere to crash one night with zero expectations, it would be fine, but I definitely would not recommend for a longer stay.
- Erin (8/5): - It was nice and clean. The pool and side had issues. And that was the reasons why we didn’t give the 5 stars. That was one of the reasons we picked where we did.
- Jessica (4/5): - After reading current reviews on this hotel, I decided to try it out. Check in went ok. They do require a $100 hold upfront for incidentals on a credit card which I wasn't aware of. Their yellow waterslide isn't working until further notice, this includes the kiddie slide & mushroom spash play area for little ones. Our bed boxframe was broken. The sink had toothpaste from the previous occupants that stayed still in it. The bath tub in our room had a crooked faucet but it functioned. The beds were not comfortable whatsoever. The pool which had a functioning waterslide was ice cold. Breakfast was ok. Definitely not somewhere we would chose to stay again.
- David (6/5): - needs some Maintenace and new furniture
- Matt (2/5): - Not clean, missing smoke detector, bathroom wallpaper was falling apart, sink didn’t drain half the outlets didn’t work. For this price, I would pass.
- mary ann (4/5): - Great bed and pillows
- Dee (8/5): - We had a great stay in Bismarck at the Comfort Inn.
The staff is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating, many thanks. That being said, the property is dated, we had to get our room card rekeyed daily. Coffee maker was broken, had to replace. The company now posts that they don’t provide daily room cleaning.
- Paula-jill (10/5): - The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing for early check-in after a 12-hour drive. The room was clean, quiet, and the pool area was well-maintained. Breakfast offered a satisfactory selection. I plan to stay again.
- Nancy (10/5): - Helpful staff, close to many things, comfortable beds.
- M-R (6/5): 2 star hotel with 4 star price - I was not impressed with the hotel. It was kind of clean. The sink was cracked. The outlets did not work. None of the security doors were locked.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is CLEAN...The poil area, lobby, our room. I LOVED everything about this place!
- Robert (10/5): - Great
- Duane (6/5): - Our stay was good. Our room needs some repair work, such as replacing the bathroom door, which is in rough shape on the inside. Chairs in the eating area are badly worn and don’t look good. The breakfast was okay. The desk clerk must have been having a bad day, not very cheerful or friendly. The room was clean and the be was comfortable.
- Charleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (4/5): - We all struggled with the 3 beds. They were not comfortable. This property is two hotels connected together. I was told they were out of towels so I had to walk down to the other hotel and ask for some.
- Joshua (10/5): - Beds were super comfortable. Best night sleep i have gotten in a long time in a hotel!
- Osmar (8/5): - .
- Melanie (8/5): - It was a standard place to stay, staff was rude and answered all questions after rolling her eyes and sighing. It seemed like we were a bother to assist
- Lindsay (10/5): - It was an amazing stay. Very clean, pool area was perfect for the kids after a long drive and breakfast was great.
- Trevor (8/5): - Not a bad location, but not great, congested due to parking lot size. Nice people and nice interior. Comfortable for a family of 5 for a night.
- Antonelli (8/5): Overall was great. - Excellent breakfast, fun pool area. Very busy and loud on Saturday evening.
- Crystal (6/5): 2 day family stay - Comfortable beds, but bring your own pillows - the ones supplied were not the best. The pull-out sofa bed was miserable - they need new mattresses. The rooms could use a little TLC, fixing up the paint around the beds and the loose wallpaper in the bathroom. The first night we were their the pools and slides were closed. Breakfast was decent - good variety. The price of rooms was a little more than we should have paid.
- Oscar (4/5): - The showers were dirty. There was hair in our shower tub
- Toby (10/5): - Great
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very rude front desk lady, not friendly at all. I will not stay here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Breakfast staff were incredible . Beyond kind and helpful. However front desk staff were extremely rude and I feel over worked
. It should be made known that the front desk is responsible for comfort inn and the hotel next to it called main stays . While our room appeared to be clean we found items that were not ours from previous guests .
Based on cleanliness and how we were treated by other staff I cannot recommend staying here .
- Michael (4/5): Not staying there again - Terrible continental breakfast, no towels for pool area, no houskeeping, dirty, front desk lady was rude..
- Rick (8/5): Overnight in Bismarck - We were there for a one night stay traveling homeward. We got in early evening with no trouble checking in. We went to the pool area and used the hot tub with no issues. We spent a relaxing evening in our room and had a quiet night with USB outlets to plug in our devices. A decent breakfast in the morning and easy check out.
- Reese (10/5): - .
