Guest Reviews
- jerry (10/5): Great place to stay whether for 1 night or a week. - Everything was wonderful except never could figure out the tv. The manager was super in helping us.
- Jeremy (6/5): - Friendly front desk employee...but the room smelled musty and there was no soap or shampoo in any of the dispensers
- Eric (10/5): - Coleen, the manager was very gracious, and i felt anything i needed i could just ask.
Best of luck!!!
- Brian (4/5): - Room smelled like industrial cleaner. Outlet next to bed did not work. Bathroom door would not close. Floor lamp was broken. Appears they are upgrading, as the bathroom was very nice (Except for the door). Hostess was very friendly, but I had to walk to the end of the 2nd floor to find her to check in. Missing the microwave (I thin kw/the upgrading this will be done. Very nice/big Frig/freezer.
- Sarah (8/5): - Nothing terrible or great - basic interstate hotel
- John (6/5): - A place to crash your head, nothing more. Reserved 2 queen beds, got queen size frame with extended full mattress.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair for the price - For what they charge what can you expect? No WiFi, poor cell service, no breakfast. But if you just need a quiet place to lay your head. It beats sleeping in a car.
- LAN (6/5): - Just convenience location
- Brandi (2/5): Terrible Disgusting Hotel - This place was absolutely disgusting! There were hairs on the sheets, pillows, and blankets. little spots on the sheets. The bed says it’s a queen size but it’s a full size bed. It was hard. The people in surrounding rooms were very loud. Blasting tv all night. Slamming doors. The AC started popping in the middle or the night and I had to turn it off. It was so bad that I left at 3am…the internet was crappy I couldn’t even FaceTime my family. I would really love if someone could contact me about this.
- Heinrich (4/5): - The rooms haw laminated floor the where very dirty sticky the same the hallway the need a very deep cleaning
- Sandra (4/5): - Motel from Hell. Poor condition bad tv, broken sink faucet, bed poor And found a bug in it, slippery shower floor. It was a nightmare. Thankfully we only needed one night.
- Curtis (6/5): - Easy access to interstate although outside had tall weeds growing in every crack or corner and had to be given a different room due to a/c not working in first room
- Paula (6/5): Dispenser debacle. - We had an overnight stay. The room was quite and clean. The bed was a little firm for our liking but not bad. Hated not having coffee, even in the lobby. The most frustrating part was the dispensers in the bathroom didn't work right and weren't marked so you had no idea what was soap, shampoo or conditioner. Or what kind it was. I like the idea of dispensers if do right. If not it's ridiculous.
- Marilyn DuVall (6/5): - No hot water!!!! Makes for an uncomfortable stay. Beware and ask before
- Denise (4/5): - Cheap and allows dogs Our room didnt have working air and she came up to check then moved us to another room much bigger and better room.
- amy (10/5): - Very great service. Even went above and beyond when the washer broke mid cycle.
- Jerry (6/5): - Nice place to stay right next to the interstate
- Mary (10/5): - Friendly and helpful
- Tony (4/5): - I’m rating this stay a 2.5 stars. The back entrance door was insecure with no latch, in which where are room was located bottom floor second to last door. There was a 1 1/2’ gap on the bottom of door. It took almost 10 minutes for the host to get checked in. I wouldn’t have mind if it was just myself but I had my daughter and mom. FYI: Do your research before committing. My fault. Do better!
- Rebecca (10/5): - Good value and comfortable. The front desk helper was a little rude.
- Mariza (10/5): - Updated room and clean. Easy to get to location would stop on our next trip.
- Vicki (6/5): - Room was clean and recently updated. Property under remodel (and they are not neat remodelers).
When it’s done, I’m sure this will be a fine place to stay. Right now it’s a bit chaotic.
Check in was the worst part. Nobody at front desk. No sign to indicate how to get ahold of anybody. Had to walk the halls and find someone who knew where the checkin guy was.
After a long day in the road - was not a great start to the stay.
Dogs stay free and that was awesome.
- Gerald (2/5): - No customer service, smelling smoke room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel accepted my reservation but was not open and could not check-in. No guest cars in the parking lot. It looks like they are under construction. Had to get another hotel reservation. Motel 6 wouldn’t return call, wouldn’t respond to hotels.com, and wouldn’t agree to refund my “stay”.
- Kevin (6/5): - No cups in bathroom and no coffee pot
- John (2/5): Horrible experience! - I was charged three separate times for the same stay!
- Cliff (2/5): - If your web page says “breakfast included,” there should be breakfast. No shampoo, which would matter if there was actually a light in the bathroom!! Not broken, not burned out bulb, but literally no light fixture.
Trashy
- Josie (2/5): - This location went bankrupt. We arrived and had no place to stay. Expedia gave us a refund but it should be removed from the site
- Ray (8/5): - Basic, clean, and reasonable cost. Located just off of I-70, so some road noise could be heard.
- Randy (2/5): - Nothing to like
- Camille (2/5): - Property was generally dirty, breakfast was very subpar. The fact that the toilet did not work the shower did not work and the TV did not work added to all of the negatives.
- mike (6/5): - it met all our needs
- Martin (2/5): No for me - Front desk was a little rude and very speedy. Room was a descent size, but looked very dirty and untouched by housekeeping. My family and I woke up with, what looked like bed bug bites. Very unhappy
- Bruce (8/5): - Satisficed our needs and was clean and enjoyable.
- Charles (4/5): - old, cheap, but usuable
- BOB (8/5): - Clean room and good air conditioning. Waffles are great
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Thomas (6/5): - The charging ports didn't work. Only three towels for four guests. Shower heads are too low.
- charles (10/5): - every thing was nice
- Teresita (10/5): - Very helpful and professional. Room was clean and cozy with a recliner and everything. I would stay again.
- Chance (4/5): - This isnt my regular stay in town, but its summer and its a busy overnight stop for travelers so I had limited options. Overall the room is extremely basic and equiped for a single nights stay. The overall issue is with the bathroom. The toilet was dirty at the hole where everything flushes into like someone dropped a massive B.M. the towels were stained and many parts of them were see through from being used so much. Theres a drop down ceiling with ceiling tiles so fairly easily replaced, however the tiles above the shower had mold on them l and not just a small amount. There was enough mold to probably create a good batch of penicillin, the sheets were in the same condition as the towels. I understand its an older hotel, in a town that is not exactly a tourist destination, however with 5 major highways running through it and a regular low vacancy rate i would expect cleaner accommodations.
- Constance (8/5): Hotel review - The hotel was easy to find and surrounded by a lot of conveniences.
Check in was quick and easy. The man who helped me was very nice.
The room was adequate for my needs , nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. I felt safe there walking my dogs.
My tv was a little fuzzy but not enough to complain about. I would stay there again.
- Tristine (4/5): - Easy parking, especially for a moving truck and they have security cameras outside. Was also close to food so we could walk over to the McDonalds for dinner after a long drive. The cleanliness of the room was really bad. The floors are sticky and you can hear your shoes stick to the ground. My baby was crawling around and his hands and feet were black from it. The shower head is extremely low as well. Futon is also really thin. The other beds were nice though. Cooler/fridge is leaking water on the floor, and there were a lot of moths in the room. Breakfast options were also very limited. Lighting in the room and hallway were also not great. I wasn’t very happy due to the cleanliness and after hours of my baby being stuck in the car seat he couldn’t crawl around. That being said, the price is one of the cheaper ones, though we paid about $110 for the night. I won’t be staying here again.
- Lesley (8/5): - Breakfast was skimpy. Room and bed were comfortable and clean.
- Kristopher (10/5): Consistently Great Experience - This is a great motel. I have stayed on three occasions and each time, the room was clean and the staff was super friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
- David (8/5): - Quick check-in and clean room. Exactly what i expected for the price
- Shannon (8/5): Clean Room No Carpet Yay easy on off from highway - Clean Room Good Area Convenient Location to the highway. Towels could use an upgrade although clean it had a couple stains. No elevator.
- Megan (4/5): - It was just kinda ick
- Mark (8/5): - It was easy access to highway and fuel stations. Continental breakfast is good.
- Victor (10/5): - The motel is very clean and well-maintained. I like that they hire old people for reception and cleaning. Everything was great. Only suggestion, please do Sunday morning breakfast until 10am at least. (It is 6:30am - 9:30am.) Other than that everything was good.
- Mary (6/5): - Unusual/good - stayed in an end of hall room which was bigger than most rooms (an L shaped not rectangular).
Looked reasonably clean but when opened controls for AC it was grimy.
Wi-fi is not passworded
- Candaice (8/5): - Ok place 🙂
- Frankay (8/5): - Rooms need a little updating…the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Yogurt at breakfast would have nice.
- Robert (6/5): - Towels needed replacing. Bed was older but somewhat comfortable. Front desk check in was friendly. Toilet need attention, had to hold handle to fully flush.
- Dawn (4/5): - The A/C I’m the room was not working properly at all. I reserved the room for
My 76 yr old mother who is traveling alone across country!! No sleep, uncomfortable and now weary. Worries this daughter to death when she has so far to go still.
- sreedhar (8/5): - I stayed Overnight break towards RMNP. Everything Looks good. Littlebit congested on main entrance and breakfast area
- Earl (4/5): - As the dating goes, you get what you pay for. And Econolodge says it all. We were traveling on a holiday weekend and it was the only place where we could get a reservation. Hallways smelled like urine. Room was very small. Ice machine was broken but ice was provided in an ice chest. Free breakfast was provided but it wasn’t very good. Only protein provided was a hard boiled egg!
- Lucinda (2/5): - First room had pet urine on the floor and it smelled like a cat box. Had to ask for a second room which they acted like they weren’t gonna do at first. Second room had hair in the shower and the bathroom floor.
- walter (8/5): - clean and quiet, great staff. good breakfast
unreliable internet
- CarolJeanneH (6/5): - The stay was clean and a friendly atmosphere, staff helpful. Parking full and poorly maintained. Outside door unable to be locked. Curtains at window hung improperly and could not close. While pet friendly, area for pets unsafe.
- Jim (8/5): - Vary helpful young man at the front desk
- Cynthia (2/5): - I did not like the broken glass on the sidewalk . We seen the man at the front desk come out the door and walk right by the broken glass not once but twice and never swept it up. The glass was still on the sidewalk the next day when we left. Now for the room it was dirty, tv remotes where sticky and very dirty , the microwave and fridge were very dirty. We took pictures of all the nasty in that room. I am very unhappy with this motel. We were charged $20.00 dollars more than what was on our reservation. They said it was tax I said no then about 60 seconds later they said it's for checking in early , well that's crap also. I will never stay here again. C Sanchez
- Christopher (8/5): - Overall the property was nice. A plus was that it was pet friendly. Being pet friendly there was no area that was around the motel to walk the dog. The surrounding lots were filthy and littered with glass.
- Tami (6/5): - It was nice and quiet. Beds were soft. Breakfast was pretty sad
- See (8/5): - Good
- Rachel (8/5): - Overall an okay place to stay for the price. Slightly concerned about safty as back door to hotel was not locked. Anyone could enter.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Late night check in - I was a very late check in 3 am. The auditor couldn’t find my reservation. I waited almost 20 minutes just to get my room. Lol I also had to wake him up he was sleeping in the chair. I used to work night audit and don’t fault him. Obviously he isn’t very comfortable at the check in process though.
- Hudson (6/5): - Hotel room had laminate flooring and breakfast.
- Raymund (10/5): Great place to stay - Amazing rest stop with budget friendly price. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.
- Teresa (8/5): - Beds were a little hard and ac/heat only worked on high
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent customer service at checkin - We were greeted by friendly helpful staff
- Dolan (2/5): - Fire trap!! The place is worn and unkept. It's time to bring in the bulldozer.
- Tammy (8/5): - Staff very helpful & friendly. Easy access from the Interstate. No good place to walk our dogs though. Surrounded by cement for parking & road then there was weeds almost knee high in the field & area around it. There’s a pet fee, don’t remember seeing that when I booked.
- Shawna (10/5): Great Family! - The owners were so friendly we stayed another night when we came back thru.
- Susan (10/5): - Easy to check in and very friendly as well as easy to park and access from Freeway. Immaculate and quiet.
- David (10/5): - Places to eat right next door and across the street
- Karen (6/5): - No elevator. Poor shower condition.
- Jarod (8/5): Clean and friendly - Room was clean and staff was friendly. Only downfall was this is a pet friendly hotel but there was no where available to take dog to use the bathroom, other than the parking lot itself.
- keith (8/5): get in and get out - we checked in late, very friendly staff, only thing it was labor day weekend and parking was tight,,,,,so we paid 108$ for a 60$ room, its supply and demand and most of the time the customer gets hosed
- Paula (10/5): - Very kind people and cleanliness was appreciated! Slept very well.
- Jill (4/5): - The front desk staff was very friendly. The room smelled musty and the linens were stained. Curtains didn't close completely so very light in room. The property definitely needed updating.Would not return
- TH (8/5): Clean and ok for a stopover - This is an older “hotel”.
Pros: The owner/staff were very friendly and accommodating, most staff wore masks. The room was very clean.
Cons: while it is clean, the rooms need some TLC. The toilet in our bathroom was not working properly. I had to use ice bucket to fill reservoir. The sink did not drain properly. All the cups and plates at the Spartan breakfast were styrofoam - not very green.
Lastly, I only saw one other guest in public area wearing a mask.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - N/a
- Stephen (10/5): Great place - Clean, staff was very friendly
- Warren (8/5): Good night's sleep, rooms need re-conditioning. - Front desk was very helpful. There was confusion as hotels.com had failed to communicate clearly with hotel management about the room change to a suite. The suite was bare-bones and though there were four of us, they only had three towels and one bar of soap. The beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed pull-out had dirty sheets and the desk man changed them.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty, room was 80 degrees, dirty towels....just dirty.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nothing unique.
- Jody (8/5): Clean, good place to crash. - We needed a place to stop on our way home from Western Colorado. Our room was just a basic hotel room, but clean and affordable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent service and willingness to please. Really does need renovations.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The toilet wasn't very clean. Other than that, everything else was/
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy access, gas station close, quiet, friendly staff, clean.
- John (8/5): Good stay - It was nice. My towel had lots black marks on it like it was washed but somebody got it really dirty and the laundry did not notice. The shower was clean but calcium build up was bad. The water was really hard. The temp varied quite a bit during the shower. Not a bad hotel and I would go back but these were issues.
- Tina (8/5): Great for the price. - We stayed in Limon due to hotel cost in Denver. This Econolodge was right if the highway and was a great price. Simple accommodations. Clean. Bed was firm, but not miserable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly and helpful
- Teresa (10/5): Clean & Comfy - Room was laid out nicely & very clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Positive: none
Negative: No elevator. Water temperature in showers changed intermittently from very hot to very cold. Shower head was at a very low height. Beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast looked unappealing/unappetizing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bed was a little hard, but it was clean. Fast easy check in. Friendly. Good price. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Jon at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very clean and in good repair.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tall stairs,no elevator.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No issues. Very satisfactory and relatively affordable.
