Guest Reviews
- Sheila (3/5): Because of the hotel we staff, it was ok. If not for them, we would not have stayed. - We had NO RESERVATION when we got there. The information from Booking.com did not get transferred to the hotel. The Manager worked for an hour to fix that for us. There were 2 individuals that worked on fixing this oversight. They were very nice. The place was not 'clean'. We only had 2 plugs in the entire room that worked. The sheets did not fit the beds. It just felt unclean.
- Sirianni (7/5): The hotel is not worth what I paid for a room. - Location was fine. I booked the room on February 15th for $251.00 my booking was canceled and I had to re-book at a cost of over $500.00 I will not use booking.com again. There is no way the room was worth more than what I originally planned to pay

- susan (4/5): - Price The one bedspread had some sticky stuff on it. The toilet seat looked like it was 40 years old. The carpet in the hallway was filthy and shredding and super old. We ate around 8:00 and there was hardly anything stocked, one piece of bread, Out of danish, the smallest plates to put a full waffle on and no tongs to get the hot waffle off the iron. Also no butter for the waffles.

- Nina (1/5): This place sucks! Add a little bit more and go somewhere else - Nothing. Dirty place… on one has ever cleaned those bathrooms before and I’m sure the sheets were dirty too. Disgusting place Dirty, noise, make an inspection and take a look at the toilets. But the worse part of it was the Indian man that works at front desk. Extremely rude, lazy, not nice, and more confused on texting on his phone and being seated than taking care of his customer. Horrible customer service. I saw him when I checked in and checked out and I just want to say…he is awful

- Melissa (10/5): Nice and quiet free breakfast staff was nice and polite. I’d stay there again. - Nice and quiet and walking distance to get something to eat and gas station etc Didn’t have a pool
- Sherrie (6/5): - My daughter lost her ID in the room. Was in process of looking for it but it was time to get out of the room. The maid kept telling my daughter to get out. Went to the office but was told if the find it they would call. They would not give us time to look for her ID.

- Malissa (3/5): Plan on eating breakfast somewhere else - It was affordable Could have been cleaner
- Phoebe (10/5): - I like the property very much and the price is great. They’re very family oriented there. We stay down in Morgantown once in a while because my husband works down there and I just don’t feel like driving him to work every day, but I really like the hotel.

- Cook (9/5): I like coming her because its a great value. My main concern is comfort cleanliness, and breakfast - I love the bed and pillows. By far the most comfortable combination I've slept on. the noise outside of the room window believed to be a generator or element that automatically ran on and off. Rm 238 King bed
- Christina (2/5): - Decent Bed was hard. Heat wouldn't work

- Amara (1/5): -
- Rose (6/5): - Location Cleanliness not great
- Tiffany (1/5): Horrible. - Horrible customer service. Hidden fees they didn’t talk about. Very dirty and sketchy. Very rude staff. There wasn’t a single thing I liked about it. They scammed me out of money.
- XXsalty_muchXx (2/5): Got there was told that I wasn’t reading the hotel policy right, then got to my room after having to get my coworker to - Location it was in Workers not standing by there policy’s, and not updating listing on website, wouldn’t not give refund
- Cheryl (10/5): The staff, the breakfast and the cost way made it worth getting an uber or a taxi- definitely will stay again - It was off the main street n very quiet and was kept clean. The staff was AMAZINGLY friendly, cordial, polite and respectful. Pleasant conversation and staff went out of the way to accommodate requests!! For the money on game day it was great and the taxi to high street was only $15 and the PRT to the stadium was free. No celebrating and driving necessary even with location being in westover. Also the breakfast was great and lots of selections Breakfast was over little sooner than any motel I've stayed in only 6-9? I've never had it end before 10
- reynolds (1/5): I was unable to stay but was still charged and money not refunded - Never stayed because they couldn't accommodate my disability. Also very sub standard and should not be your partner Accomodations for disabled individuals
- Madison (3/5): -
- Boyce (1/5): - Nothing I paid 60 dollars online when I got there they tried to get me to pay another 120 then after 20 minutes of fighting with them they want 50 dollars for a deposit which I didn't have because I didn't bring any extra money cause I was only staying one night and celebrating my boyfriend birthday so we was coming from dinner so we didn't have it and the website didn't say we needed it so we didn't put it aside so we was turn away and was told we wasn't getting a refund
- Brittany (2/5): - Close to my job location and close to restaurants Beds are not comfortable. AC/ heater doesn’t work half the time. Had to ask to have room cleaned & linens changed on the 5th day. Didn’t change my beddings and asked to have it done. They gave me a sheet to do it myself!
- Phoebe (1/5): -
- Hawkins (7/5): -
- Mathew (8/5): The room was good, comfortable and besides the hallway carpet everything was great. I will stay here again. - Staff was friendly the room was clean. For the price we have no major complaints. The carpet in the halls was terrible. They smelled and looked nasty.
- Chiron (6/5): -
- Billy (1/5): Disqusting - Location Worms in the bathroom toilet dirty and tub dirty I literally was there less than a hour I wouldn’t even pee there it was so gross. I told them I’m not staying I checked out and they still charged me for the whole night
- Shelba (4/5): - Sheets looked liked they were not changed, shower was dirty and moldy. In general not clean. Slept on top of covers.
- Toro (6/5): - It worked for a quick stay over
- howell (5/5): -
- Harry (6/5): -
- Parker (5/5): -
- Andrea (8/5): - Convenient location to expressway.
- Mario (3/5): - Nada. Falta de limpieza y servicios
- Dean (2/5): - This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. First off you walk in and the lobby is closed so you use a window to talk thru like a bank covered in plexiglass while waiting to check in we are standing with our bags on an absolutely filthy carpet saturated with black and brown filth. The smell was horrid. Walked upstairs to our room and it was dirty with hairs on the bed sheets and blanket, make up on the flat sheet covering the bed barely and invaded pillows! The bathroom floor never looked like it was ever cleaned and all the trim and molding were separated from the wall and complete filth! I am going to pursue a refund. The hotel in a parking lot surrounded by McDonald’s and other fast food restaurants- absolutely disgusting!
- Craig (1/5): Terrible - NOTHING!! We got in the first room and it was dirty. 2nd room they gave us, the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in black mold. He said he didnt have the authority to refund us. We'd like our money back as we didnt stay here.
- Ashlyn (2/5): - Our experience was HORRIBLE. There was literally pee in the toilet. Dirty sheets. Smelt horrible. Not worth anywhere near what we payed.
- Mary (6/5): - It was ok not the worst had booked it on line because I had to be at the hospital the next morning the room was ok the floors were very sticky the shower was not the cleanest and I had a 50$ refundable deposit that I have not gotten back yet
- Chris (2/5): - AC didn’t work. Lighting atrocious. Hard bed
- David (1/5): Stay away!!! - Nothing The property was very nasty to the point that I refused to take a shower in the tub. There was holes in the walls. Flooring and bedding had horrible stains. The entire building smelled like a skunk.
- Tina (9/5): -
- Kaitlyn (7/5): -
- G (6/5): - The front desk gentleman when I arrived and checked in was great. Friendly and helpful. Good location great price The front desk guy the next evening was rude and nasty. I buzzed the side door and he was mad because he had to get up and come let me in. I didn't know you vould use your key. The room wasn't all that clean and the shower bar was coming out of the wall. But it served it's purpose.
- Tiffany (2/5): Don’t stay here ‼️ - It was close to my scheduled event. The mold in the bathroom. The floors were not mopped in the room. My room didn’t come with all supplies. I had one wash cloth for a 4 guest stay. Also I had to wait the next day for a pillows for my 2nd double bed. The breakfast was not what I expected.
- Susan (6/5): - Toilet not cleaned properly. Carpet not very clean.
- Rose (5/5): - Proximity to WVU stadium Dirty & no shower pressure
- Keenan (1/5): 1st they had given me a room key to someone else’s room. 2nd they gave us a room that was FILTHY everything dusty nothin - Nothing!!! Everything!
- Lawrence (2/5): -
- william (6/5): - Overall, this Econolodge is a good bargain, you get what you pay for, and if you are looking for an ok place at a great budget, this location meets those accommodations and also accepts pets.
It is in a convenient location.
This was my second stay there and have had no issues with noise (its really been quite both times), or other patrons.
The rooms are ok and comfortable.
A few things that were unsavory;
Splashing stains of something on the walls (food, drink, etc)
There was black grim under the sink lip.
There was also black grim behind the pedestal of the toilet.
The continental breakfast is lackluster, but the waffles are good.
- NICOLE (2/5): - Ron was dirty. Toilet was super wobbly, requested more towels after starting two days and they only have a room of 4 two towels and they told me that they didn’t have anymore towels and couldn’t do laundry to get me more. They couldn’t understand that I wanted to shower daily and their were more than two people that shower
- Lewis Morales (7/5): I'll live another day and will stay at this location again. - Room was clean but bed wasn't comfortable. Bed was a little hard.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Never staying in another Econolodge again - The beds were super hard and uncomfortable, there was a random puddle in the corner of the room, the floors needed to be swept badly, when you plugged things into the socket above nightstand the light sparked weirdly and one of the lights in the bathroom didnt turn on everytime you flicked the switch.
- Maria (6/5): - The manager is very professional.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty Filthy and Disgusting - Room was filthy. Hair all over the bathroom floor AND in the bed!! Looked like they hadn't even washed the sheets. The only reason we didn't leave and go elsewhere is because we both worked all day and then drove 7 hours from NY. We were exhausted and needed to stop for the night.
- Tammy (4/5): - The floors where dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty . Looked like no one wipped down the tv or the tops of things . Toilet needs bleached . Won’t stay again .
- Phillip (1/5): Disgusted - Nothing The hallways smelled like weed and mind you we had my baby grandson and my little girl and my other daughter with us and this is what we get...room was dirty sheets and pillow cases and garbage behind the beds mold in the shower drain and mold in the bathroom refrigerator was dirty the floors were not clean had pubic hair on the bed sheets so they moved us to a different room and guess what same thing someone's pieces of hair on the pillow cases the guy said the rooms were full which they were not and they had no more so we could change them when we complained about the first room the guy said you were here for 3 hours no we brought our stuff in and then we left to get something to eat and came back to settle in and he wouldnt refund us our money back and he gave us another dirty room I do not recommend this place to no one
- Carmen (2/5): - Just terrible
- JOHN (2/5): - Every thing was not nice
- Hector (8/5): - Plenty of food options
- Sandra (2/5): - Absolutely horrible! Do not stay there, especially with children. I am a law enforcement officer and the establishment is dangerously unkept and guests are inappropriate.
- Robi (6/5): - Rooms had very strong odour .. my family was quite upset with me booking this property
- Arthur (10/5): - It was nice, professional and friendly.
