Guest Reviews
- Goodman (1/5): Place doesn't have working water place need to be shut down - Nothing Everything
- Marlanea (1/5): I left 5 hours after checking in - Absolutely nothing filthy and disgusting and didn’t feel safe The room , the parking lot … the roaches crawling on me while I’m sleeping and that is no joke . I have videos
- James (3/5): -
- Anna (4/5): Staff was amazing! Facilities kind of sucked. - The staff was amazing! Hot water didn’t work until the morning and the heater didn’t work until the maintenance guy came to fix it.
- Jeanann (2/5): - This place needs be shut down by heath department
- Gil (4/5): Users beware - I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed in a more run-down place in my life. Doors broken, bad plumbing, horrible smells, unsafe location, suspicious people roaming, the lists goes on. The staff was extremely friendly & they tried to accommodate with what they had but I believe the place needs a serious renovation before it can be recommended.
- Daniel (2/5): - Should be shutdown I've stayed in 3rd world countries with better facilities
- Diane (8/5): - It was very dirty. The bed was clean and that’s all we needed for the evening. It was late when we stopped and just needed a hotel until we got going in the morning
- Shannon (3/5): Sucked - Was able to take a shower The people coming in the room at different hours of the day, knocking and yelling at all hours of the night and early morning. Refrigerating and microwave didn’t work, no trash cans, someone throwing things through the window at our heads.
- Shannon (3/5): Poor -
- Khadisyn (1/5): Bad -
- jimmy (2/5): - When i checked in they insisted the price was wrong and that i could not have the room i selected and paid for on Expedia. I was suppose to have a jetted tub l. Have switched rooms but the entire hotel does not have hot water. I paid for the room and it is non refundable. So now im stuck in a regular room that i way over paid for watching cockroaches crawl all over the place and could only take an i e cold shower. No slightly warm water just straight cold. This is the most unpleasant unresolved stay ive had at any hotel.
- Anna-maria (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!!
If I could give this Inn zero stars I would. We didn’t even make it five hours in the room before we demanded a refund.
I don’t even know where to begin. My fiance and I thought we would give it a shot because it was relatively cheap and the photos looked nice. The driveway to the place is a typical West Virginia drive: very steep, but we couldn’t find it at first because the signs pointed to side roads and not up the hill. Once we did find the place it was rundown and looked sketchy.
The lady at the check in desk (who sleeps on a futon in the office), didn’t know how to use the computer and took 15 minutes to try to figure out our total for 4 nights. Whatever it happens. She also had an attitude whenever we interacted with her.
The room itself was horrid. The first thing we experienced with the nasty smell of cigarette smoke in our nonsmoking room that has caused all our belongings to reek after only five hours. Then I ran to the bathroom, as one does after a long road trip, and the bathroom floor was soaking wet and the toilet water was turned off. So I turned it on only to find it was off because it leaked steadily onto the floor. The walls in the bathroom were rotten with holes in them, and the ceiling tile was missing, exposing insulation and piping. The lights above the sink were missing a bulb, and there was a legit moldy ceiling tile in the corner. And the air conditioner, once it kicked off, literally poured water into the room and onto my fiancés
- Madeline (6/5): - Ygbhj
- Matthew (6/5): - Property was very outdated.
- Virginia (2/5): - Omg no!!! Do NOT 🚭🚫🚫 STAY THERE
- Ashley (8/5): - The staff is nice but the property has so many problems
- Cody (1/5): Did not stay wouldn’t leave my dogs here please tear this building down I am sure it has black mold and asbestos this is - Run down wood rot trash everywhere and junk around the outside looks like they make drugs here not lit up outside I guess trying to hide what the building looks like going in smells bad and looks like you step back in time to the early 1900 old murder movie reached the room lights wouldn’t turn on but what you could see from the hallway lights was bad wallpaper falling off the walls we turned around and left Nothing
- Crystal (1/5): i’ll never stay here again, this place should be condemned amd i paid 70 dollars for something g that wasn’t even work - nothing , it was a complete nasty dumb and the office worker was legit asleep when i had to call at least 15 times to get checked in , the office wasn’t open had to literally call the number for over 49 mins to get them to answer at 1am this place is nasty nasty mildew in show the pictures online is nothing compared to what you you are seeing in reality , the carpet is nasty the jed’s were nasty and burnt with cigarettes and the bed sheets has stains on them there is no toilet paper on bathroom , there’s no towels , it is ice cold and the heater barely works
- Allison (2/5): Very poor -
- Susan (2/5): - Property is ready to fall apart with the outside having rotten wood. And there were ROACHES in our room. The front desk lady and her brother were very nice.
- Porscha (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Upon arrival we couldn’t get into our room! The key got stuck in the door! After entering the room you could smell mold. Went to turn on the lights but the only light that worked was the bathroom. Seen mold or a grey substance on the floor in a glob. It didn’t look as the pictures at all! Had to leave it wasn’t safe for my “children”. Was told to get refund through booking.com
- Kameron (6/5): Pleasant -
- Williamson (1/5): Bad - Staff was nice Everything else no hot water poop on walls
- Meghan (2/5): - generally felt unsafe. cockroaches in room, holes in walls, peephole shattered, fur covering the toilet, reeked of smoke although it was a nonsmoking room. singes and blood on the sheets, dents in the door. building was dilapidated and creepy, but in a terrible spot so it’s hard to find. don’t believe the photos, they’re at least a decade old. the lady at the desk was very nice though, she offered another room but it just wasn’t worth the risk.
- Kourtney (10/5): - We always stay at the Best Western when we come to visit our home town which is quite often and it’s always so clean and the staff is also very friendly to us any time and go out of there way to help us in any way they can I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try! Also the beds are super comfortable you will sleep like you are in your own bed! That’s a plus right there!!! It’s also the cheapest too!
- Gaillard (2/5): - I had no water could not use the toilet tv did not work room had bugs in it
- Adria (1/5): Bad - Rooms weren’t cleaned, hair all over the bathroom. Outlets missing covers. Toilets and showers didn’t work. No hot water
- Dean (1/5): short....WE canceled and left. - NASTY, we arrived and luckily a truck had taken down power lines getting to motel. we canceled. ONLY good part, they and booking.com let us cancel Looks, run down and wouldn't even get to it
- Davidheiser (5/5): It's ok place does need work - I believe I have a days refund coming we left at 2:30am Friday morning and was not there for Saturday
- Jerry (2/5): Remove from Hotels.com - This place should be condemned, the pic they show is the front of building I was around back and I was only customer. except someone who lives there ? junk on ground outside his room... Ok I was nervous when I saw the outside (I would not have taken my wife here) but when I opened the door to go upstairs the smell was bad, I thought I will turn a/c on that will help, curtain was barely hanging up that was the good. I pulled the bedspread back 7-8 burn marks I rolled it all the way over to other side ( figured it was smoking room) I pulled the top sheet back and bugs were scurrying everywhere little specks big bugs dozens, I turned A/C off locked room and turned my key in the lady at the desk was a nice lady she offered me another room, but I still feel bugs crawling on me even today. The health department should be contacted. The county building codes should be called, they had chairs laid across the hall way to keep someone from going down hall I am not sure if the flooring was out or what was going on. Could you please give us credit towards our next stay ? We have been faithful users of your app, If not we will not be using hotels.com anymore there was only one other hotel in the area and she gave me a break just because I showed her pics. Thanks Jerry Copley
- Randy (2/5): Dump - This place is an absolute dump. Dirty filthy place. Parking lot looks like a junk yard. Rooms are nasty, beds are not clean, roaches. We left immediately after seeing the room. They would not refund our $383.00. You people do people wrong
And you support places like this. Shame on you, and you rip people off.
- X2074XGrickm (2/5): Hell Hole - This place sucked, nothing more than a drug den, rooms are filthy, smells of mold and sewer...doors dented in, cockroaches all over, refrigerator unplugged with food, hair in filthy bat tub...drug deals in parking lot. This place is a joke and if this is a motel/hotel I'll kiss your feet.
- Robinson (1/5): Bad - The shower had plenty of hot water Everything else. It's disgusting.. It's falling apart due to water damage. There are holes in the walls. A pack of instant coffee had been chewed on by a mouse. There was a dirty sock under the vanity area. Peeling wall paper. It's just gross.. Don't stay here
- Margaret (6/5): - I was very disappointed with my stay here. There were bugs in the room, peeling wallpaper, patches on everything and the hallway smoke alarms were beeping due to dead batteries. Everything was rundown.
- Stephanie (2/5): - This property is very unsafe to stay at. The building has holes and is in disrepair. The smell of mold is everywhere. I checked out as soon as i checked in and am now in a fight to get my money back. The company, even after providing proof from the hotel were I left, says we stayed there the full time. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or at this point company to anyone as they are now going against there own terms of agreement as listed on there website for refunds. The pictures shown are not what you get.
- Mark (1/5): Bad -
- Jim (2/5): - Pulled up and turned around. Could see through to the rooms.
- Kathryn (1/5): Awful - Nothing The place is horrible so bad we didnt even stay dont do it its awful.
- Tonya (7/5): Good -

Absolutely no one should stay here. They have so many health hazards. Bugs everywhere, bed bugs, roaches. It’s very run down. They gave me a $3 refund. But that makes nothing right.
- Jamie (1/5): They power went out and they didn’t try to give another room. They said “I don’t know what to tell u - Not a damn thing Drugs drugs drugs, very poor establishment.
- Megan (4/5): - Very out dated. Bed bugs in the bathroom. Killed three of them
- Doug (10/5): -
Older building staff is very friendly grandmas house vibe
- James (8/5): - No breakfast!!
- Samantha (4/5): - The property is very run down. There were dead bugs in the room, badly stained lineds, garbage and trash all around the property. - Kimbeely (1/5): We decided that is worth losing $53 to go stay at the best western just a mile or so down the - Cheap Cock roaches, dirty in appearance bed linens, room smelled like an old musty basement with stale cigarette smoke; cock roaches; police circling the property looking for a criminal; if u need a cheap place to crash and don’t have very high standards this is for you. Don’t take ur belongings inside if you don’t want to take roaches back with u. The place is INFESTED with roaches
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Nevaeh (1/5): Bad -

- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything we recommend for everyone to coming or going through here to stay here. Staff was amazing. Absolutely nothing we loved it.
- Amos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (4/5): - Price was right.
- Jackie (10/5): - The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the bathtub hot water was tepid at best. However the vanity sink had warmer water. The air conditioner worked well but was dripping water onto the carpet so at some point it may cause a mildew problem.
Check-in was fast and easy, the staff was so friendly and kind. Nice quiet area for a restful nights sleep.
- David (3/5): Horrible - Place was a dump seen a few bugs running around n a graveyard right beside the hotel
- Tammy (7/5): Good -

Dried blood under the pillow on the bed sheets, cigarette burn holes in the blankets, smoke alarms hanging off the walls in the hallways and some beeping, ceiling was falling apart, there’s a bunch more. Long story short this place was very nasty!
- Sharon (6/5): - We got in our room Bed wasn't even made got moved and the air conditioning was not good stayed on 77. Staffing was great very friendly
- Reinhard (9/5): Superb - The hotel has an incredible interesting architecture! Nice people running this place which is a little bit worn out.
- Edmond (2/5): - King receptionist , but unclean property ever. I had to forfeit and forgot to even cancel the booking, left the $75 dollars with them and runaway from the property. Terrible
- Helen (3/5): Won’t be using OYO again. - Check-in person was friendly & helpful.
Room was reasonably clean. Outside shabby & lots of cigarette butts. Hallway dark. Smoke alarm batteries low and chirping in hallway. Refrigerator not plugged in and cold on arrival. Air conditioner not turned on when we arrived so room hot & muggy. Wallpaper peeling.
- Timothy (1/5): Horrible - The place needs to be closed permanently and torn down It was filthy with bugs and spiders everywhere, it smelled awful and most of it is falling apart

- Madeline (10/5): - My husband loves it
- Anthony (2/5): - This ropm was by far the filthiest room I have ever encountered in 40 years of traveling. The carpets were disgustingly filthy. The walls were chipped and dirty. The AC was covwred in accumulated dust andvdebrie. The mattress was caved in. I cant believe you promote this facility. We left at dawn.to get out of there. Tje fleas had infestedvtonbathroom. It looked as of thos room hadnot been.cleaned inonths. It was disgusting

- William (7/5): Good -
- Black (7/5): Good - The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. It was quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable. The plugs would not stay in the outlets. The lamps kept flickering.
- Ted (2/5): - When I arrived the property was hard to find. From the front of the building to the single rooms in the back you had to go out of the property and then around a condemned building and up a dark drive way filled with trash on the sides. Once I found the upper rooms is was very dirty and scary. I proceeded into the building and found my room to be very dirty . Yes the bed was done but there was food on the carpet, roaches crawling around, and the toilet lid wet and dirty. Before going to my ro the attendant was laughing that I could not stay on the lower floor where she was and had to go around to the top building because I was alone. Of course I was concerned because it was awful up there. I decided at that point to leave and stay elsewhere. I noticed when I read the fine print I could not get my money back so I just gave up with trying. I returned with the key three days later and told them thank you and did not mention anything. At that time the attendants came out of the motel and stared at me like I was some kind of nut. I have used Orbitz for sometime now and am scheduled for another outing in november. I hope that Orbitz removes this motel from thier list and will not jeopardize anyone else to the rudeness and filth I saw. Also I would like to say the motel was for sale so I feel they did not care for my stay.
- Megan (4/5): - The room we were in was very run down. The wallpaper was peeling and there was clearly mold underneath it. There was gum incrusted in the floor and the sheets were stained. Overall, I would never stay there again. The staff was kind and helpful, but I couldn’t get over the state of the room.
- Dustin (7/5): Good - Not bad
- Peter (2/5): Won't go back. Rather camp - Nothing except the staff was interesting. Everything was not worth one star.
- Damon (8/5): Very good - Exceptionally friendly staff Needs updated but clean inside with no issues
- Karen (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay would stay there again
- Jonathan (4/5): - There was nothing good that clerk was pleasurable and that was about eight I will not recommend or stay with them again
- kathryngS4400TT (2/5): AWFUL!!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. - Oh my gosh! Please if you are looking for a Hotel DO NOT stay here. I don't care that it is cheaper. There is a reason. Nasty, stinky, everything was broken. Unfortunately it was already late so had to stay. I would not recommend this Hotel at all. I don't know why the Health Department hasn't shut it down.
- Tyler (7/5): Good - Private. Hot water. Comfortable bed. Paid for 2 nights. After the 1st night we were woke up for checkout and had to go to front desk to sort out.
- Joseph (4/5): Great staff sub par room - The staff was amazing in every aspect. The room was very dirty , WiFi was excellent staff came and helped as best they could the manager was awesome but just could not overcome the dirty room
- Michael (2/5): Very poor - Bed was comfortable Place is terribly run down.
- Teresa (2/5): - The lady was really nice but the room we stayed in was nasty I never stayed in a room before that was so filthy and my husband and I wasn't impressed at all, if it wasn't for the fact that were so tired we would have going somewhere else. We have never been so disappointed in a room. We did not feel comfortably at all in the room.
- Corwin (4/5): Disappointing - Price and location was good. Staff very friendly. Ran down, not updated at all. My kids had cock roaches in their room and the toilet leaking. My room heat didn't work right
