Guest Reviews
- Drew (5/5): - The only thing edible at breakfast was the coffee which I had to request be made. Although the person checking us in was very polite she was way too chatty and it was excessive! Being polite is one thing, holding people hostage to hear your life storage is another.
The in room coffee is meaningless. Yellow water came out at first in the tub until it cleared up.
- Douglas (8/5): -
- Mark Pinder (5/5): - Large room with firm king size bed, fridge/freezer (bit noisy though), table & 2 x chairs, air-con/ heater, quite location. Noisy fridge, bath plug did not seal, guest litter bins at side access was overflowing.
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Mariah (7/5): -
- Ibanez (7/5): Affordable, convenience location on your way to Bend or Sisters. - Convenient location The carpet (hall and stairs) needs be replaced ASAP!
- Vel (9/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): - We stay here often when visiting family.
Rooms are always very clean.
Breakfast is very very basic we eat elsewhere.
No coffee in rooms. But very good coffee stands close by.
Pool and spa are absolutely amazing very clean.
Staff is also top notch and friendly.
- Margaret (10/5): - It has large rooms, pool and plenty of parking.
- cassandra (5/5): - The location was nice and being able to bring my small pup is always the best. The attendant was very nice got me checked in close to 10 pm and was fast and professional. I checked in late so we got in to bed pretty quickly. The next morning when I was getting ready I started noticing the room wasn't very clean. The head board area had smears and hand prints all over it was the first thing i noticed. Then the wall next to the bathroom there was like hot Cheeto hand smears light smears but still very noticeable. I think that if the walls were wiped down I wouldn't have been so disappointed. The beds are also very hard I didn't mind that part I can sleep anywhere but my son did not like it.
- Lynne (8/5): Great stay for the money. Will stay there again based on it’s location in Stayton and Sublimity and - Very clean. Location was perfect for us in Sublimity & Stayton. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast buffet was very limited with no protein options. Just offered cereal, toast, waffles with juice, milk and apples.
- Tony (8/5): - Excellent location
- James (6/5): - The price of course. You get what you pay for.
- James (8/5): -
- Santaia (1/5): Awful, disgusting, and worst customer service. - The service was terrible from check in to check out. Check in- had to ring bell multiple times nobody came for at least 5 minutes. When we got to our room it was filthy, there was an extra broken TV on the floor the TV that we had the remote didnt work. Sheets were dirty, towels had long hairs on them. Went to front desk to get a new remote(it had crusted dirt and didnt work) and more pillows. Front desk lady replaced batteries and said if it didnt work oh well and use buttons on tv. Gave 1 pillow.... its all she had and told us to put pillowcase on ourselves. If we could have left we would have. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Breakfast was terrible.... broken waffle machine, nothing really, everything was empty. Went to front desk again to get refill and let them know the state of breakfast. Nobody came to the bell.... ended up calling the hotel to get someone to come. She topped up the milk.... barely and left the machine broken to spill waffle batter everywhere. Couldn't wait to get out if there. Beds were uncomfortable as well.
- Scott (10/5): - Loved the coffee pot in the room and the hot tub/pool
- Steadmon (4/5): - Location was great 👍 Easy access to highways and food The hotel is very old and outdated, furniture and appliances are from the1970s and 1990s with many scratches and falling apart. The room was not very clean once you stopped and looked. The bed skirt had a white crusty spill over it and the carpet, the bathroom corners had little hairs and the bath tub has mold on the caulking. Thankful we only spent one night.
- James (3/5): -
- Scott (10/5): - Great place to stay, wonderful staff and their waffles are amazing
- Gary (7/5): -
- Vel (5/5): - The location . It is very outdated. The mattress wasn’t comfortable. And I could hear the neighbors talking through the thin walls.
- Jodie (4/5): - The bathroom had other peoples hair in it… Nasty! Not clean
- Aaron (5/5): - ? !
- Marcia (7/5): We come back next 2027 - Need up grade fix bathroom shower wall and floor plug and light ( unsafe )
- Desmond (7/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Had a nice quiet stay. - Closeness to Silver Falls
- Cecilia (8/5): It was quiet and convenient to where I wanted to go. Fast checkout. -
- Karen (1/5): It was a nightmare of an experience. - Nothing We checked in om 9/13/25 at about 200pm. The computers were down, room key didn't work so they gave us master for entire hotel. We went to the room assigned and it was a smoking room. Back to reception, put us in 2nd floor room. TV didn't work even after several calls to front desk. Went to dinner and came back to check out and Manager (finally there) argued with my spouse that she would give us a better room, finally desk clerk and my husband convince her we were checking out. Desk clerk recommended contacting Booking.com to get our money back. We left about 530 pm 9/13/26
- Victor (1/5): -
- Julie (4/5): It was affiliate for my needs and clean enough. - Location was great! Did not try the breakfast as didn’t see one being offered. Staff was rude. Particularly one person. Seemingly the owner.
Rooms were worn with stains on carpet, water damaged furniture, smell in the rooms and hallways of smoke.
- Patrice (7/5): - The front desk staff was friendly, though she was very busy that night. The mattress was firm and comfortable, bathroom was clean, refrigerator was quiet. And we appreciated the freezer portion of the fridge. Windows opened for air, which is always a bonus. The breakfast selection had nothing that interested us. Yogurt or fruit would have been nice. A pile of dirty sheets was placed in a hallway alcove near our room - not a great welcome. Highway noise was loud, but not much the motel can do about that!
- Cortés (1/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): The only place to stay in the area - Location Needs updating
- Lori (5/5): - Location Came back from going out to lunch, and they locked me out of my room. They wanted to talk to me regarding paying them a second night for my pet. I was really upset. So I gave them my debit card, and Sandy wouldn't take it because I paid cash for the 1st night, so they wanted cash again. I paid them before I left, but I'd never book a room there again.
- Steven (8/5): - Sandy at the front desk was pleasant and helpful! Breakfast could use upgrading for sure
- Mandy (9/5): It was great - Easy to get to That you can’t go out through the front doors after 9pm
- Jariel (10/5): -
- Mark (5/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Beautiful and quiet hotel! - Clean rooms, quiet, great pool! Not much
- McDermott (7/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - Older hotel but well maintained. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and courteous. Have stayed there several times.
- Carol (10/5): - Met our needs well.
- Kristen (2/5): Boot us out without notifying - They kick us out so they can book someone else to use our room that we arrive in middle of night. I’m still talking to whoever to get my money back since we didn’t even sleep in our own room
- Hazel (10/5): - Staff was helpful.
Make your own waffle is a nice touch to breakfast.
- Caitlin (6/5): - Parking good. AC good. Not the cleanest
- L (8/5): -
- Jordan (2/5): - The two nights I spent here were genuinely the worst I have ever spent at a hotel! Not only was the lobby attendant rude but she also wasn’t punctual. There’s certain times the lobby is supposed to be open and it wasn’t because she was nowhere to be found.
That paired with the fact that I paid for late check out on both of the days yet I still had housekeeping open the door and try to enter while I was changing!!! And before you ask, yes I did tell them not to enter. They didn’t care and they just kept opening the door. I can’t even believe it either! I had to argue to be respected and that is far from ideal. And it happened both times! I stayed Friday night before an event and then I stayed Sunday night after my event and was walked in on BOTH times.
Plus, there weren’t even batteries in the smoke alarm and no free Wi-Fi like advertised.
Overall, if you want to be walked in on and disrespected by the staff, then this is the place to stay. If you value your privacy like most people do then definitely avoid this place and probably this entire town.
- Jordan (2/5): - Absolutely not! The staff were rude and invasive, and tried to open the door while I was changing more than once, even though I had paid for late checkout and communicated at numerous times
- James (10/5): - everything was good
- Kasey (2/5): - Broken TV, strobing bathroom light, hard bed and deflated pillows.
- Jamie (10/5): - Clean, basic hotel. Hot tub was very clean and the temp was amazing.
- Belinda (4/5): - Dirt bathroom...toilet, sink, shower, bathroom door filthy !
- Deepak (10/5): - Location is good and near to the main road. Room are big and clean.
- Maria (2/5): - I won’t be able to check in and I have been trying to cancel but can’t seem to get ahold of anyone
- eubanks (10/5): - Has a pool and hot tub after fighting fires for 14 hours it was awesome to hop in and relax
- Martha (6/5): - Front desk closed at around 9 pm - 7 am. No front desk service throughout the day
- Cathy (8/5): - Everything looked good and I liked that they had a hot tub and pool and breakfast. But several things were not working right in our room-2 flickering light bulbs we asked to get replaced, and we had a hard time getting the tv to work. staff on duty didn’t know what to do but brought us a lamp and offered to change our room but we said it was ok. My husband eventually got the Tv going after about half hour of working on it.
- Virginia (1/5): We didn’t stay there complete and please stop - We didn’t check in as they declined us due to our service dogs
Please return our money back now The front desk are not friendly
- Lisa (5/5): Cheap accommodations - Location and price Rooms not properly stocked. Outlets not functional for plugging in accessories. No bathroom fan, door didn't even fit bathroom and was installed upside-down.
- Patrick J (10/5): - Front desk staff at check-in was great. The next morning, the staff at front desk was not near as friendly.
- Dennis (8/5): - Breakfast was skimpy.
- Karen (8/5): - Decent hotel if you’re in the area hiking. Aged and needs updating. But overall clean and took care of what we needed it for for 2 nights.
- Nichole (2/5): - Be weary of a scam. They claim there is an issue with the reservation and want to charge your card again but truthfully there are no issues and then refuse to respond to Expedia when asked for clarification. See google reviews. Rooms and halls stink of old smoke and uncleanliness. Broken furniture. Hard beds. This place is operating on people's naivete
- Jeanne (6/5): - Air conditioning worked well. Hotel was quiet at night. Room was clean.
Hotel was very basic, a place to put your head down right off the freeway. Very dated. Very basic. Two floors...no elevator. Would recommend bringing your own breakfast.
- Kay (8/5): - The staff needs to be more patient with Deaf customers as there was an event for the Deaf nearby and most people stayed there. The eye rolling of being impatient is not ok.
The bathtub needs to be more clean and remove molds.
Need to provide more healthy breakfast than all carbs
- Shi (10/5): - Very nice motel staff was amazing
- Josie (10/5): - A nice stay after a week of camping. It’s not the most chic, a little dated. But it did the job. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little bit more on the eh side. The service was friendly and welcoming.
- Corina (2/5): Dont have any expectations. - The only thing good about our stay was the price per night was affordable. Our room was filthy. Furniture and carpeting were so out of date. Room looked wore out and needed painting.
The breakfast room was awful. No selection.
One other postive was the hotel was easily accessible from the Hwy. Close to Stayton. And not that far from Salem.
- Tonya (5/5): -
- Edward (4/5): - Lots of problems with our room and nothing was done about it.
- Mark (4/5): - Very little to recommend this property, except it was the closest property to where we wanted to stay, and in general, it was clean. On one of the beds, even though the sheets had obviously been laundered, they were stained, which isn't acceptable. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom, with mold growing underneath. The tissue holder was rusty; no tissues. There were issues with the TV or remote, or maybe both. The breakfast bar consisted of a waffle maker, a toaster with English muffins, and corn flakes. Next time I'll drive a little farther and pay a little more.
- Anastasia (2/5): - Bad bad, staff was not prepared and not knowledgeable on her duties.
- sturm (5/5): - Location Didn't make our beds, give us clean towels or empty the garbage.
- Cheryl (4/5): Being Bridgeway Inn, our expectations weren’t high but we were still left feeling underwhelmed - The room key was easy Cleanliness
Breakfast or lack there of
Comfort of beds
Hideous furniture
Hard water rings in toilet and sink
- Devin (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not fancy but was adequate. The pool and hot tub were nice. We would definitely stay here again,
- Paul (7/5): For one night it was adequate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. - The room was comfortable and clean, but we were given a smoking room when we booked for a non-smoking room. It was spacious and the bed was big, shower hot. The slight whiff of smoke
- Azarevych (10/5): -
- JOSEPHINE (8/5): - The breakfast consist of waffles. No bacon, egg or sausage. Coffee was lukewarm. Receptionist was friendly
- Deborah (10/5): - The staff is amazing. Their hot tub and pool area was clean and very nice. The beds are comfortable.
- Nancy (8/5): - A little outdated, but clean. Sandy was excellent
- Terry (2/5): - A terrible place to stay, nice area, close to the highway, everything was old, not entirely clean, I don't know why Expedia has hotels like this on the website to offer. I would never recommend this place.
- WENDY (1/5): This hotel needs to be turned in to the city - It was close to my moms new home I had my kids with me. The sheets were filthy there was tissue behind the night stand with blood on it. The side of the bed on the floors was so dirty and had garbage on the floor. It was so bad that I couldn’t stay with my kids. We ended up leaving 25 minutes after we got there. I sent an email requesting my money back but have not heard from them. Please get me a refund. And maybe turn this hotel in to better business center. I have photos
- Amanda (4/5): - We got locked out of our room at like 1am and none of our key cards worked. No one was in the office and the main enterence was locked. We called and eventually a staff member overheard my unhappiness in the hallway of not being able to get in our room and helped us. There were ants in the bathroom and weird little bugs in our bed. While i dont believe they were actual bed bugs as i snapped a picture and did some investigating bugs in the beds at all was an ick. Other than that everything was fine, quiet, friendly staff. I should have read previous reviews before booking the stay.
- Kevin (8/5): - Great experience.
- william (8/5): upgrade the breakfast and this place would be best - place was clean, staff was nice, only thing i would have to say in negative way was the breakfast sucked. coffee was terrible. but the spa and pool was really clean, accessible and the room was clean. staff was very nice so i was happy with my selection of where to stay on our trip. i would recommend this place.
- Kala (2/5): Disappointing - The redeeming quality of this hotel was location and cleanliness. It took three calls to get the front desk person to not put me on hold, and even then what should have been a simple quick call regarding late check in was ridiculously long. When we arrived at 11:30, she was totally curt, unfriendly, and her communication was “give me your id, sign here” and she shoved me the keys.
Our reservation was for a double queen for four people. Our room had three shower towels, one hand towel, and two wash cloths. Given our experience with the desk the night before, we didn’t even want to ask for towels!
Beds were terrible.
If all you need is a clean place to sleep, I guess it’s adequate?
- greg (8/5): - needed
- Seth (2/5): Do not stay here It’s bad - Room was filthy. Had to change rooms due to sewage smell. Would never stay there again.
- Siri (8/5): - Lorraine was very friendly and helpful!!!
- Mindy (2/5): - Horrible bed very uncomfortable
- Natalie (6/5): - Check in was fast and friendly. Room was comfortable. Lobby closes from 10 PM to 7 AM. Unfortunately there was a sprinkler that was broken and it was directed at my car in the morning, but hey- free car wash!
- Eldon (10/5): - Quiet
- David (10/5): - Quiet easy parking
- Robert (6/5): - Great location for our needs. Wi Fi very poor. TV complicated to operate, not user friendly. Even the front desk could not get it working. Breakfast was OK, could have more varitey. No cleanleness issues that we noticed. Pet fee for service dog was not listed prior to our stay.
- Free (9/5): - Great location and quiet. Clean room and had everything I needed. none
- Jayson (8/5): - What I like this place is it is near the freeway/highway. What I did not like were: no WiFi, tv was not working.
- Ingrid (10/5): - Very kind and accommodating to my elderly mother. Thank you!
- Susan (10/5): - This is a wonderful basic motel; it was comfortable and felt safe, staff were helpful, and check-in was easy. A great stay overall, and excellent value!
- Elizabeth (7/5): -
