- Patricia (7/5): - The room had funny smell and the bathroom was not great.I use this hotel Everytime I go to see my inlaws.I wish they can improve some of the things in this hotel ie bathrooms in the room, better bigger towels, fresh smell of rooms and warm swimming pool
- Henkel (9/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Excellent service
- Xtrippx (2/5): Front desk grifter, overcharging for incidental deposits on points stays - Never got my room, some rude foreign guy said he didn't like my girlfriend and booted us when she questioned him blatantly overcharging us for an incidental deposit that 3 customer service reps agreed should have been significantly lower. He's grifting guests and should not be allowed to work in the industry anymore if not in jail. Extremely inconvenienced for being experienced enough with the chain to know the prices... rude af. Definitely proceed with caution ⚠️
- Jean (10/5): -
- Carolee (7/5): - Convenience to railroad station. N/A
- Bruce (9/5): -
- Nicole (1/5): Horrible. - The toilet flooded and they charged us $250. We informed them right away of the issue, but they blamed us for misuse and charged a $250 damage fee. The staff was rude about the incident and did not even clean up afterwards. They left all of the towels in our room and blamed us for the flooding when the toilet just did not turn off and kept running.
- Orlikowski (9/5): - Convince to interstate 39. And a restaurant downtown, Main Street.
- Candace (10/5): -
- Michele (3/5): Very disappointed. Hotel was very poorly lit. All decor very old and shabby. - Location in the hotel was ok. Staff was friendly. VERY limited selection. No hot items. Rooms were filthy. Cobwebs in corners, mold in shower, rusted vent covers, dirty lamp shades. Water damage on ceiling….
- Patricia (10/5): - Excellent service Bed was not neat or ironed
- suzanne (8/5): - Met my expectations The breakfast options were alittle disappointing
- Matthew (7/5): -
- james (9/5): Very comfortable and convenient. - Breakfast could of had a few more options but there was small occupancy during my stay Breakfast options.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Brian (6/5): It was ok for what we needed - Location Not very clean
- Tiffanie (10/5): -
- Rhonda (5/5): - Close to the highway It's an older hotel that could use some updates. It was cleanish definitely could have been cleaner
- Fulton (3/5): Not impressed - Good location Pet fee was ridiculous, the shower was not clean especially with the caulk
- Bernard (7/5): Convient to Intersate -
- Diana (3/5): -
- Jon (10/5): - Good parking, restaurant close by with Senior Citizen menu.
- Karen (8/5): - Check-in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and quiet, except that the air conditioner was very loud. We were on the back side of the hotel and had a view of a corn field, which was relaxing and pretty to look at. The hotel was very easy to get to, just off I-39, but it was far enough from the interstate that I didn’t hear the traffic. There were a couple of gas stations with convenience stores within walking distance but we didn’t check out the area for other amenities. The only downside to this hotel was that the breakfast was meager; no eggs or sausage, but there were pancakes, yogurt, and Twinkies. The hotel rates were reasonable and for the convenience and quiet I would stay here again.
- Stephanie (1/5): Worse place - Stayed there because I had my kids with me it was very late and if not I wouldn't of stayed. I didn't like that there was a roach 🪳 in my room.. that made my kids feel very uncomfortable .. then they don't want to help you out at all
- Geralyn (8/5): - Staff was super helpful.
- Jodi (8/5): - Our room was clean and comfortable; front desk staff very accommodating. Continental breakfast was decent. Nice, basic locale to sleep overnight.
- Jennifer (2/5): - Left early they didn’t want to refund me my day which I didn’t stay did not provide me a receipt
- Amy (2/5): - EVERYWHERE smelled like cigarette smoke and dirty laundry, our bedding smelled like it hadnt been washed in WEEKS, dirty carpets, super unfriendly staff, and gross breakfast...
- Schwienher (5/5): - Convenience to restaurants Room needs updating.
- Lori (10/5): - Dated property but very clean and quiet. Did not eat the continental breakfast so can't comment on that.
- KENNETH (2/5): Bring your penicillin. - A large black piece of crud came out of ice machine when filling up ice bucket. Dead moth stuck on inside of shower curtain. Mold in bathroom light fixture. Torn window shears in both rooms. Several outlets in hall were missing covers. Bed was comfortable.
- vince (8/5): - Great place for overnight stay .
- Schwienher (10/5): -
- Carmen (10/5): - This was a great stay. Clean quiet was able to catch up on much needed sleep. Housekeeping needs to knock on door before entering any room. I had the do not disturb sign. Housekeeping opened the door without knocking. This was the only isdue i had at the hotel.
- Crazyforeights (9/5): -
- JC0l (10/5): Good location - Got there a little after 6 and had no problem checking-in. Our room was on the third floor and there was an elevator get there. We got to the room and there were two beds and they were comfortable, the HVAC worked great and there was a coffee machine, iron and board, all the necessary amenities and breakfast. The breakfast consisted of the normal continental fare and egg and cheese burritos. All-in-all a good stay.
- Sandusky (5/5): No better options in town. - It was located where I needed it. It smelled bad. Very poorly lit at night. Rooms are run down and not very clean
- Sandra (9/5): I will be staying there again next year when I come to our event - The people who work there were very nice and helpful, the area around the building was well lit and they are pet friendly The only thing I would have changed was that I believe the air conditioner was having issues, it cooled well but everything was so damp that when I picked up a folder I had it was limp with moisture and even the sheets felt damp
- John (7/5): Quick - They had a room late at night so I could sleep Nothing wasn’t there very long
- Kathleen (8/5): - Did not like bathroom fan and light on same switch. Too noisy. No Kleenex
- Chris (8/5): - Would have liked room service daily as requested
- Yolanda (8/5): Overall I give it an 8 because of the positive feedback overrides the negative feedback. - Free breakfast, pool and location to where we needed to go. Lots of places near by to eat in a quaint neighborhood. Needs a bit of love and care. Fixes are needing to be up to date. Vents were open in hallways. (Looked a bit ghetto) and broken outlet covers. Scraps on walls (paint damage)
- David Hasenbach (3/5): Sorry we stayed here. - Easy access Mildew in the shower! NO breakfast was available at 6am and was not available before we left at 6:30. This was a good place for us to stop on our way north, but WILL not stay here again!
- Jean Pierre (3/5): Not worth it - not clean - no interest by staff - Location Room was clearly not used for a while - smelled.
Could NOT open the window - not even a bit - although normally fitted to open for a bit - was completely prevented to open.
Talked to the staff - couldn't care less.
Had the door open for at least 30 min to refresh. that helped a bit
Unfortunately the bed felt damp / moisture.
Hence, bad room / sleep experience.
If you book, do not expect normal experience
- Roman (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing mold, stench, high humidity, dirty showers. Strange staff
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - It was clean. The toiletries were half used and the hallways are super dark.
- stephent974 (8/5): Return from Canada - This property is relatively new pretty much as advertised. The room was above average clean. The bath/ shower was likewise. The beds were "meh" for comfort and a little firmer than I like. 4 pillows per bed was a nice touch. The only nit with me was the breakfast bar. The best description is adequate. I've seen better at lesser properties.
- Jeannine (6/5): Good price but disappointing experience - Convenient. Clean. Good price Drab. Faucets leaked. It looked like only 3 people ran the hotel.
- Melanie (10/5): - The Mendota Quality Inn & Suites was a very nice hotel with good amenities.
- TROY (8/5): - Breakfast was not good
- Bridge (9/5): Superb -
- Jaquavius (1/5): Bad -
- Alicia (4/5): - After making the reservation I called the property DIRECTLY and asked them to note that we will be traveling with my fiances service dog. He tried to charge us a pet fee upon check in and the next morning we were asked to leave the morning dining room even after informing the attendant that she is a mobility assistance dog and informing him out my fiances's ADA protected rights. He threatened to get the manager then DID NOTHING! Didn't get he mananger didnt research the law, and DIDN'T APOLOGIZE. Traveling for a funeral this was NOT a acceptable way to start the day. Next time I will choose another hotel chain. Quality inn apparently doesnt educate their staff. I would say i understand but, not every service dog is fake.
- Claudia (10/5): - everything clean, a nice place
- Scott (2/5): - The list of complaints is far too long. Have you visited this property lately? The photos posted on your website our extremely deceiving to say the least. TV did not work. Towels were filthy. Curtains and sheers were torn and frayed. Sheets were so worn out and stained. We had to switch them around so we could sleep on them. Mirror over sink was smeared and dirty. Sink was dirty. Toilet was not cleaned. I had to clean the bathroom before we could even use it. We could not try to find another hotel because of the late hour when we arrived. Entryway to hotel was filthy. Entry door windows were smudged and extremely dirty. Carpet was filthy. The smell!!!! The only saving grace was no bugs in the room or around the bed. TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY.
- V6234SDthomass (2/5): Not recommended - I have family in the area so I’ve stayed on this property dozens of times over the past 20 years. The hotel has changed ownership and over the past few years, it has been poorly maintained and fallen into disrepair. There were sticky big traps all over the hallways filled with dead bugs, we saw mouse traps visible under the heating units in the halls. In our room, the curtains were shredded, the lampshades were stained and the lamp bases were corroded. The shower curtain was mildewed and there were visible hairs on the bathroom floor. The walls in the room were dinged up, the bedspread had stains and three of the four light bulbs in the fixture over the bathroom mirror, were burned out. The breakfast bar which at one time was good, has gotten worse every time I’ve stayed at this hotel and there’s nothing but low quality offerings available. Not staying there ever again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel and location! - Great hotel in a great location! “Cindy’s on 34” restaurant within walking distance is amazing. Backside rooms face a very beautiful cornfield. Very clean space and the staff were helpful.
- Audrey (10/5): Nice place to stay - Staff is always helpful. Breakfast could have been stocked a little better and watched for needed additions.
- Davis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Curtis (9/5): Superb -
- Stacie (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): - Quiet, clean hotel
- Kenneth (9/5): It met my expectations - Did no eat breakfast. The hallways could have been brighter. The lighting was too low.
- Audrey (10/5): Consistent! - Always a nice and convenient place to stay in the area.
- Debra (10/5): - Clean and staff friendly and helpful
- Hoosiergran (4/5): Find somewhere else to stay - Would not stay here again. Check-in person was not very friendly. She just wanted to get you checked in and get you on your way. Hotel was dingy with bug traps laying around in the hallways. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom fan sounded like it was going to fall apart. Reported it, and the guy said he would let the manager know. No offer to move to a different room. The curtains were shredded. The breakfast was only tolerable. If you wanted protein, you had to warm up a breakfast burrito which had no directions how to heat up. Hubby said they weren't good. Coffee was from a machine that tasted OK. I would not stay here again.
- Nicole (10/5): - Right off the interstate. Stayed 2 different times for the night. Workers were friendly both times. Parking is well lit. Quiet area. Felt safe. Bathroom is small but not a big deal. Comfy beds. Dark shades keep light out. Free breakfast in morning was basic but if its not your thing, McDonald's is right across the street.
- Lisa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mollie (1/5): Staff is both creepy and rude, would not recommend. - The hotel itself was clean and the rooms are decent The staff was incredibly creepy and made it so blatantly obvious that even my boyfriend was unsettled. To be more specific there is a pool at this location and we noticed MULTIPLE employees lingering around the windows to the pool on numerous occasions, we ended up leaving the pool and going back to our room pretty quickly because of it. Front desk calls well before checkout time to rush you to get out which woke up our baby and then the woman at the front desk was rude in both tone and body language when interacted with. I would very much NOT recommend this place to single women or families. Glad I wasted 125 to get gawked at just trying to enjoy some time with my baby and boyfriend.
- Mguzman (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): - No special comments.
- Sheri (7/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable for a one-night stay. - Good-sized rooms. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to pop off and in the freeway for a one-night stay. The lobby and hallways were not well lit. It didn’t make for a welcoming or safe-feeling entrance. Breakfast options were not great and not many healthy choices.
- Chantelle (7/5): Good for a one night stay. - It was not the worse hotel I have ever been to. We stayed one night for a funeral, so it worked great for us. We went down to eat breakfast at 8:45 am and everything was already put away. The whole place could use an update. Its not horrible but there was painting peeling everyway and just looked really dated.
- Vercimak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (6/5): Pleasant - No hot breakfast. Terrible coffee. So disappointed.
- Dale (6/5): Convenient location, friendly staff, sub-par facility and breakfast. - Convenient to the local event we were attending. Very out-dated facility. Mold (?) in the shower and on the shower curtain. Very poor continental breakfast.
- Robin (10/5): Clean & Comfortable rooms - Good selection for breakfast
- Teri (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberlyn (5/5): Needs improvement - Like the price, location and the pool. They also worked with us and got us a room on the first floor so didn't have to worry about my little one disturbing any other guests. Didn't like the beds, bathroom and also have to put the pool here as well. The beds were so stiff and just very uncomfortable. Had a really hard time sleeping. The shower curtain in the bathroom was moldy and made me wonder about the cleanliness of everything else. The pool has seen better days. It would definitely benefit from a really good cleaning and even some resurfacing.
- Leahy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (6/5): Just ok - Ok for my one night but I won’t stay there again. The wobbly toilet seat and the unresponsive tv remote are signs that this place lacks care and attention.
- Erinjoy (9/5): Superb -
- Eric and Karen (6/5): - Was okay for an overnight, bathroom shower smelled, shower floor was dirty looking, bed clean.
- Ruth (8/5): - Breakfast was not good, instant coffee, yuk,
Apples were old, waffles were fine!
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheree (7/5): Good -
- Dana (3/5): Poor - Sink was backed up, blinds ripped, decor in mason lobby was bizarre, room very dark and light was out
- Gayle (8/5): Very good -
- Jodee (10/5): Exceptional -
- DENISE K (10/5): - A good hotel for the price.
- Kimberly (3/5): Poor -
- Keller (1/5): Disgusted, as you should be with the representaion of your company - Well, I checked into my room. Went to use the rest room and noticed dry urine all over the toilet seat. The shower curtain had stained blood on it and all the toiletries were half used. I assume by other guests. The old two chairs in the room were so badly soild I had to place down a towel to sit. The bed cover had white fluid stains all over it as well. The property had no wifi. Which was a huge problem as I work from home and had to work one if the days I stayed. The breakfast that was included was sliced bread and hard boiled eggs so old the white were yellowed and hardened. These are all thing I look at before book a hotel and your site gave this proper almost an 8 star review. This was the most disgusting property I've had to pay to stay at. I have pictures of all this so please contact me for more info It was a place to sleep as I was 6 hrs from home.
- Jose (9/5): Superb - Location Pool is very small great for kids 8 and under.
