Walter (6/5): - Staff needs training concerning Service Animals. It is illegal to ask for the ID/proof of a service dog and yet they requested me to provide the documentation. You may only ask what service the dog provides. Get trained or get sued!

Robert (4/5): - The staff were very friendly and the facilities looked nice and well maintained on the outside. Once inside the room, the beds and the furniture looked well kept and clean meanwhile the sink had a deep and giant crack that looked hastily repaired and other furnishings could be seen missing from the wall. The bathroom door on the inside of the bathroom had black mold that could have passed as rub marks until you looked up and saw plenty of black mold on the ceiling. The shower/bath tub was dirty and hastily cleaned with small spots that were the original color of the plastic and there was a hole on the side patched with duck tape. This was specifically the room I was given for the night. The black mold terrified me as I noticed it in the early morning hours and the amount of black mold that was present could have made me sick as well as my dog I was traveling with.

Callie (2/5): - Very disappointed! The air conditioning was not turned on prior to our arrival with the outside temps tire at 96 degrees. There was plenty of time for this , check in is at 3pm.. and I called the motel to let them know I wouldn’t be checking in until 1130pm. It is advertised as continental breakfast, upon arrival there was a letter posted in the office that stated “We do not serve breakfast, but there is coffe in your room.’ Even the binder in the room with info in it stated they served breakfast from 6am til 9pm. The main reason why I booked the hotel was because it has a outdoor swimming pool, there was also a sign in the office ‘Our swimming pool is unavailable at this time.’ I reserved 2 nights, arrived at 1130pm the first night and the next morning housekeeping knocked on the door at 11am (which is check out time) I told them ‘No thank you, we just got in last night’ Not even 15 minutes later a staff member came banging on the door asking if we were going to check out. I told him No we payed for a 2 night stay, and he demanded for me to call the front desk. After telling him I am getting ready for a wedding at the moment, I will have to do so later… he stood with his foot in the door and called the front desk himself. They finally agreed I payed for 2 nights. Left to go to the wedding, came back to motel and my key card did not work! Had to walk up to the office to get it situated. I would of rather paid the price for a 5 star hotel then be let down again by this place

jeanells2024 (2/5): Vomit Inducing - What a complete sh!tshow! This place is horrendous. The bath tub looked as if it had never been cleaned, still had hair remnants in it! 🤢. They have NO pool and haven’t for over 2 years, they said. There is NO breakfast, probably not too bad of a thing because there’s no way I’d eat from that filthy place. When asking management about the false advertising, they repeatedly said, “Not my problem”. And to top it off, we were gone all day, returned at 8pm, they had gone into the room and turned the air OFF, in June in the south. That was a sweltering thing to come into when all we wanted to do was sleep to get the nightmare over! Had it not of been a weekend, we would have tried to find other lodging…I will sleep in my vehicle before I set foot in that disgusting excuse for a hotel. The owners are rude, unapologetic and by the looks of them, they probably think their shack is a 5 star establishment.
Alexis (2/5): - We had a non smoking room but there was burn holes all over the bedding. When we woke up the next morning we found not one but two bed bugs crawling on the bed. The doors to the bathroom and bathroom walls had drips on them that hadn’t been wiped or cleaned up. There was a left over McDonalds bag in the microwave that did not belong to us and the people next door kept banging on our wall then they had the audacity to call and give US a noise complaint we were just watching videos on our phones. After the second bang on the wall we knocked back and the banged back at us once more not even 20 seconds later we got a call from the desk saying that we were being loud and to keep it down. Bc of all the other issues and me not being super confrontational I just said okay and went on with my night but it was really upsetting

I know it’s only about $100 but it is not worth $100 not even worth 50.

The smoke detector was taped over. The air conditioner was noisy & sounded like it was going to break down any minute. The security latch on the door was ready to fall off the door jamb. Will not stay there ever again!

And the had a list of problems like only one filter on ac unit, remote had to be held together with duck tape, no drain cap on both the tub & sink and the safety bar was missing and electrical tape was used to cover the holes.
William (4/5): - We have been using this motel as a midway stop on our regular trips to visit family in Alabama. Over the years, we have witnessed a steady decline in the property. The breakfast never returned after the pandemic and frequently items in the room were broken or did not work. This will be our last stay. The ice machine was not working and the toilet stopped up. So disappointed to need to make this decision.
Shelly (2/5): Disgusting - Our room was disgusting. The blankets and sheets had huge stains and holes all over in them. We were only provided 1 roll of toilet paper. The headboards of the beds were all greasy and gross. Worst of all the toilet had pee all over the front of it and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The bath tub had feces smeared all over the side of it which i had to clean up myself. I wanted to complain in the morning but there was nobody at the desk, only a window to put the key card in for check out. Horrible experience and my kids were grossed out. For $120 we shouldve had a clean room that we weren't scared take our shoes off in or scared to sleep in the beds.

Dean (4/5): - There were three positives and many negatives. The refrigerator and toilet worked and the TV was functional with reasonable choices. The bed was average. The bathroom sink was cracked, to the point of actual fracture, presenting a possible health hazard. No information about the Wi-Fi in the hand book, so we attempted to call the front desk for the Wi-Fi password and guess what - the phone did not work. We didn’t even try the microwave because the glass in the door had fallen out of place. The room was reasonably clean; yet the linens and towels were thinning and graying …. all of this dysfunction and disrepair was really disappointing. This is a very old hotel and super noisy at night due to close traffic & very thin walls. we hope the owners well take note of the reparable factors, for future customers comfort.

Matt (2/5): Overated and dirty - First off, this stay was on a Sunday evening for 1 night. Sundays usually are a cheaper evening than say a Friday or Saturday. Over 100.00 for a king bed. The room was dirty. The bed was terrible and the shower was very small. No microwave. Asked for an ice bucket amd ice since the ice machine was busted. After the ice had melted, there was dirt and hair in the melted water. Tbh, the only reason we stayed was because of the truck parking in the rear. We have a service animal as well. I feel that we were given a bad room at the end, on the otherside of the motel. The breakfast was coffee and stail muffens. This place has potential to be a nice spot. Clearly the owners are money hungry and cheap.

Lisa (8/5): Okay for the price, no breakfast - Old hotel, some rooms were being improved. Three rooms for family group, two nights. All rooms-mini fridge and microwave, clean floors, beds clean and comfortable. Second night all rooms had had some cleaning and had clean towels. Front office staff helpful the first morning. Rooms: One room very clean, nice mini fridge with separate freezer. No complaints, great value for the price. One room-burned out light bulb in bathroom, and tub's permanent no-slip mat had stains that made it look dirty, plus part of cosmetic covering for heater broken off---heater worked great, but would have been a problem if there had been small children in the room. Third room (most expensive)--tub was dirty (a few hairs, shampoo/soap on floor of tub, some grime on outside of tub), also "permanent" no slip mat on floor of tub was half off, with water trapped underneath. Soap dish on sink counter had dried soap residue. A few surfaces (dresser top, tray beside sink, etc) had some crumbs or dust that was not cleaned off even the second day. Mini fridge worked, but no freezer space, and top shelf froze our food. Microwave worked, but about half the buttons did not work. Checked out at 9 AM on Sunday, and no one was in the front office (locked, with just a key drop) so we could not tell them even about the burned out light bulb. But it was quiet, and convenient location. I would stay there again, but will try hard to reserve early and arrive early so that we get the better room!

The bed had a dead bug, the curtain had a bandaid on it, the shower had used bandages and pubic hair in the bottom, cobwebs all around the top of the ceiling. The lady at the front counter and the young girl were very nice but nice doesn’t make up for a place to pay and sleep.

Since the motel was fully booked, the front desk was unoccupied and I couldn't obtain a receipt when I checked out. The walls were thin and I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms.

Verified traveler (4/5): Not comfortable - First of all, the woman behind the counter and her daughter were very nice and friendly. They were great, but the room had issues. There were what appeared to be a couple of burn holes in the bed spread and other stains on it. There were stains on the walls and some paint chips around the edges and there was an absolutely gross-looking non-slip pad in the shower that had a big chunk of it missing. I was told work was being done on the hotel and it can't come soon enough. Sorry to say it, but even for the comparatively modest price, this place did not inspire confidence. Didn't feel comfortable there.

Ronald L (4/5): Disappointed - The lady at the front desk was very nice, but very difficult to understand because of her accent combined with my hearing loss. There was no breakfast provided but the website said that there would be one. When I pointed this out she became somewhat indignant. My non-smoking room teamed of stale smoke. There were only 3 standard worn out pillows for the king bed. Because of Ana’s back I need a good firm pillow to put under my knees. Also for the same reason I need at least 2 good quality pillows to use to raise my head and back into a comfortable position. I only slept a few minutes all night long. Since I couldn’t sleep I got up at 4:30 pm cleaned up a little, packed and left. I was expecting more than a flop house $90 a night.

Tom (2/5): - When I checked in I couldn't get into the main office. They had to give me towels for our room outside the office. Then when we got in the room it smelled and was very hot. There was no towel paper, the air conditioner was very loud, the door lock was broken and there was dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The shower didn't drain very well either and there is no free breakfast. If it wasn't late at night when we checked in I would have gone somewhere else and paid more. Not worth the stay.

I asked the guy at the front desk (who looked like the manager) if they have free breakfast and he said no because the price is low already. I’m sorry what? $100 for a motel is not cheap. The room was disgusting and smelled of cigarettes. Def not non -smoking. Wish I could get my money back. Do not stay here! Note: I booked day of check in because I was driving through and need to crash for the night. I should’ve just paid more for quality.

The front desk people seem fine. Bonnie (2/5): Smell infected room, the worst - Non spoking room smelled so bad, bugs on the walls People walking around most of the night.towels didnt look clean, the only good, i think the sheets were clean

Jeff (6/5): Tolerable - Bath floor and door was dirty. Toilet seat was loose, otherwise ok. I killed a crawling bug in the bathroom. Large gap under outside door letting bugs in from nearby field. TV remote battery was nearly dead.
Michael (2/5): - I booked 2 rooms, with King beds,?on August 20th. When booking, through the Travelocity APP, the rooms were both available. I did not reserve the rooms, I paid for both rooms in full, at the time I booked them. Yet, when I arrived, I was told there were no king rooms available. This either means, there never were any rooms available when I booked them, or, they simply rented out the rooms, even though I had already rented, and paid for them. We showed up @ 1:00PM, well ahead of the check-in time. What they did, by any measure is fraud. This is the only time I have ever had this kind of issue using Travelocity. We had a concert to go to, so finding other accommodations was not something we could do. We had to settle for two small beds. When we checked in, the floor was still wet, with dirty mop water, and our clothes were getting dirty, as we were trying to get dressed. Reading some of the Google reviews, cleanliness was not their strong suit. No smoke alarm in the room, just wires hanging from the ceiling. The faucet on the sink, looked like somebody had tried to glue it down, but it just slips all over the place. The toilet seemed to be new, but wasn’t installed properly, and so it rocked from side to side. They site says they serve breakfast, but they apparently lie about that as well. Next time, I will sleep in my car.

Michelle (8/5): - The hotel is a "get what you pay for" hotel. Its ok if you need quick sleep for a night but thats it. The pool is permanently closed, and the room said non smoking but smelled of smoke. There are no bugs. Great area, safe and quiet. Great small town right off the interstate. But not a hotel to stay a week in with the family kind of hotel. Staff was nice and breakfast was ok. Hotel needs work.

cindyh492 (2/5): Spiders, no amenities, not for tall people - We were driving and needed a cheap place to stop for the night. My expectations were not high- clean with a bed and a shower was about it. Breakfast in the opening was a bonus. But they didn’t meet that. We checked in at 1 am and we’re on the road again by 7:30. In that time I counted 4 different spiders. A toothbrush was jammed down the sink, which could have been easily removed with a needle nose pliers. The bath towels were only a little bigger than hand towels. The shower head was only 5’ high, which means gymnastics for tall people to wash their hair. But the shower itself had a ceiling that was only 6’-5. Not comfortable at all. The pool is closed and there was no breakfast offered. You aren’t getting what they promise.
Dream732817 (2/5): Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever seen! - After a bad front desk experience, we should have left. However, it was the holiday weekend and we arrived later in the evening after a long drive and didn’t have another option. Room was absolutely disgusting. Dirtiest hotel room I had ever seen. Bathroom floor was wet from what we hoped had been a mop. However after we tried to dry it bc it was slippery, the towel was covered in black dirt! The bathroom was filthy, bed sheets stained, disgusting refrigerator and microwave area, I could go on and on. Absolutely horrible experience!
Kerry (2/5): - Absolutely terrible. Horrible experience started at check out. Thanks asked about the pool being open and was rudely told ‘No, oh and we can’t serve you breakfast either due to Covid’ When I stated that was disappointing I was told to ‘Call the president of the company then’. The front desk also refused to give me a receipt after I gave them my credit card (which they wrote down the number) stating it was against Orbitz policy. Never been to a hotel that refused to give a receipt. Finally they agreed to give me one after stating that ‘I could leave and go stay at a hotel with a pool’ Room was absolutely filthy. Never been to a dirtier hotel room in my life. Bed sheets stained, wet floor, bathroom was disgusting, spiderwebs, dust, etc. Horrible on all levels!
Julie (6/5): - The only things good about this place was the bed was comfortable and the floors looked nice. The lights flicked, broken bulbs in the lamps, the shower was small, walls were thin, refrigerator was frozen over, and no tv channels except the basic. Only one person was working the counter at check in and there was a language barrier.
Cinda (10/5): Late Night Stop - Room was reasonable. No blow dryer- the front desk person found one for me- most helpful. Would stay here again.
Christa (4/5): - Our faucet was not attatched to the sink. The room door would barely shut. The pillows were very skimpy. Our coffee pot was missing pieces. Baseboards and mirror was filthy. Was told continental breakfast there was nothing at all offered, not even coffee in lobby. Good water pressure. Convenient location. I took pictures
Suzi (4/5): Cornersville, Tenn. pass it by! - A free breakfast was indicated on the motel information but when we arrived we were informed there was no breakfast. I asked about coffee and was told only coffee in rooms from a one cup coffees maker. Also a pool was advertised but when I looked for pool it was not open as a matter of fact it wasn’t even open, it was still covered from the winter months. We arrived thirty minutes before check-in and asked the man at desk and it totally confused him. He had to call someone to ask how to handle an early check-in and 15 minutes later he said it was ok. The shower dripped all night, my wife’s bed had a hole burned in the bottom sheet and the pillows were less than comfortable. We have traveled all over this country and stayed at many different hotels and motels, but this was by far the worst. Hopefully we will not be coming back to cornersville but if we do we will travel a little further down the road.
Chris (2/5): - Expedia stated that this motel had all the things and the reviews seemed decent enough to book, so we did the week of June 2022. Unfortunately when we arrived - it immediately looked like something out of a horror movie, there was no continental breakfast, the pool was closed for the summer, and the room was atrocious. There was mold in the bathroom, mold outside of the bathroom, the refrigerator was heavy with frost as well as hair on the inside of it, there were still items in the room from the previous customer and the smell was aweful; more like a moldy aroma. We immediately asked for a refund and the front desk clerk, as well as Expedia started arguing back and forth as to who was going to offer it up. As of June 6, 2022 - we still have yet to receive it, but we will not stop until we get it. This was indeed false advertising and the motel itself should be condemned or at least shut down for a major renovation. I am also inclined to think that these "reviews" have been fabricated - all in all... don't stay here.. period.
Lindsay (8/5): - If you're looking for a decent place to sleep for a few nights this place met my needs. Nothing extravagant, friendly staff, decent clean rooms, met my basic needs for 3 nights. Price is reasonable.My only complaint was that the bed could have been more comfortable. Too firm for my liking. Overall it's your basic roadside motel.
Steve (6/5): - 1. when we booked the room, it said breakfast was included. IT WASN'T. Nothing!! 2. no internet service. The manager said it wasn't working when we checked with him. Therefore, we weren't able to do some tasks that evening. 3.The managers were helpful, but language was a barrier. We communicated, but it wasn't always easy. 4. The room was ok, but it needed some fixing up. I took the manager to our room and pointed out the items that needed work. He seemed to be concerned about getting them taken care of. 5. I would not stay here again, if things weren't better than they were this time. The room was functional and clean, but that's the best I could say. 6. I'm sorry I can't give it a better rating because I think the manager wants to have a good motel, but they need to work harder at it.

Christopher (8/5): Just fine! - Room was clean! Updates floors. Walls thin, can hear every conversation next door. Shower water only warm, not hot. Maybe too many others also at our wake-up time. Beds were comfortable. It was overall a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

Amber (8/5): - We needed a room in a pinch. For the price, this property was worth it. We were a little worried when we pulled up because the outside is a little dated, but our room was updated with nice flooring and tile. Pleased to say the least. Would stay here again.
