Guest Reviews

- Christian (1/5): - No No
- Stacy (1/5): Poor - The structure of the hotel looks as if it's going to crumble and fall down .Our room was upstairs, for the way it's structure is we should have gotten a downstairs. The compliments ( shampoo and conditioner, soap ) where used ,no new ones given in our room, stains on the towels, bathtub/ shower didn't work correctly, I told them I was only staying during the day,no overnight. The place didn't look safe, the door sign I cutt my finger on trying to pick it up, very thrifty hotel, shouldn't even be on bookings, very poor quality,I left after about a half hour, didn't feel comfortable or safe, the freezer was also all frostbite, so definitely couldn't use that, just dirty in general, would never recommend this place, cost me $125 to stay for half hour, never again, this place needs to be shut down, I'd rather spend $30 extra for a better, safer place than Econo Lodge!!
- Campos (6/5): - lol nothing
- Amy (2/5): Don't recommend - Nothing The mini fridge kept going in and out which jeopardized my son's breastmilk
Check in took a long time
Second floor doesn't look safe
- Mary (1/5): - Nothing Everything the hotel is falling down
- Christian (1/5): No - Yes the Star in this hotel is what it is . It is a very bad place No
- Christian (1/5): Bad - Non Non
- Joseph (1/5): Will definitely never stay again. Very uncomfortable and woke up with a headache from the smell of cigarettes and mold. - Was there for a kids sport tournament & we had never been to the area before and there were limited places available. Very unkept. Kept wondering why our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes then ended up seeing one of the workers smoking in the same place all the clean towels were! Super gross. Will definitely never stay again. Very uncomfortable and woke up with a headache from the smell.
- Charles (10/5): - The hotel is always clean rooms the location is perfect and the management is outstanding. I would suggest this hotel to friends and family Nothing everything was how I expected

- Linda (5/5): -
- Charles (6/5): ok. - It was conviently located. My co-worker got locked in her room (rm 108). The lock needs to be checked.
- Nancy (4/5): Wasn't good stay at the motel. And we where there 10 days. - The location. To much noise up stairs the room was dirty and didn't have enough towels.
- Roi (7/5): Served the purpose. - Availability. Only one trashcan and no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
- Jamphel (7/5): - Breakfast was good.
- Aaron (5/5): Cheap rate. Reasonable for 1 night if traveling and you Need a place to sleep. - $75/night was reasonable. Plenty of hot water. Clientele is what you’d expect at the rate. Breakfast was a joke. Old stale cereal and fruit. Water pressure was weak. Walls thin enough to hear beer cans being opened in the next room.
- Marina (10/5): -
- Peter (3/5): Never again. - Poor overall. No paper dispenser in bath. Lamps next to bed Un light able. Warped walls. Creepy. See above
- Cousin (3/5): -
- Bristol (10/5): - Friendly staff. Nice clean room. Rooms updated from last year.
- Darrius (8/5): -
- Myrtle (10/5): - Perfect location for our stay
- Thomas (8/5): -
- George (1/5): Never again - Not much Very dirty
Looked like the 2nd floor was being held up by 2x4s
- Tiffany (6/5): The staff was excellent they were extremely friendly and helpful. The room could use more cleanliness. Inside drawers th - That it was in close proximity to our activities for the weekend , close to grocery store and to coffee :) The outside needs a lot of work , we had to go up very rusty stairs to get to our room and there’s construction equipment outside laying against the building with metal sharp pieces exposed. and the room needs a deep cleaning.
- Pranay (7/5): - Friendly and helpful staff
- Maryann (3/5): This hotel was a disappointment. Even when I checked out after my two-day stay, there was no one around at the front des - It was in a good location. The outside of the building was in bad shape. It looked very run down and had poor lighting in the evening. My room was not tended to-such as bed being made and clean towels being given for the next day. Also, my television did not work.
- Aixa (1/5): Sucked a disgrace - Location and quiet Wholes in the walls, broken towel rack, tiles unhinged,
AC clogged with smut, chain lock missing screws unhinged.
Debris from construction every where, metal, cement, wood.
- Lavacia (4/5): It was nasty but at least it was a place to sleep. - Didn’t charge us a late check out fee because friend had bug bites and our rooms were disgusting. The railing on the second floor where our rooms were was unstable, there was visible mouse pee in one of their binders and a friend who was staying their with me got bug bites on her body. The bed frames had visible white stains on them, the bed sheets had brown/orange stains on them. When we brought the issue about the bites to the staff he was rude and wouldn’t let us finish, talking.
- Molly (2/5): - Couldn’t even stay our night there because it was infested with bugs!!! (Stink bugs and what looked like bed bugs) The toilet had a ring of MOLD in it, there were light switches that didn’t work, microwave was disgusting and there was screams coming from other rooms. Didn’t feel safe at all so after we came back from our event we attended we immediately checked out.
- Brooke (4/5): - The property was run down. The concrete on the outside of the building is literally crumbling on the underside of the second floor walkway. There were holes in the walls of the room. The floors were filthy. The furniture was old and in bad repair. The “breakfast area” was filthy. The counter was sticky and dirty. If there had been any other option in Brockport I would not have stayed here at all. I booked two nights at this location and left the second night and drove two hours home because I did not want to sleep in this filthy place again. If I could give this property zero stars I would.
- Cedric (10/5): - Cool
- Janet (2/5): - Room floor sticky. Outer deck falling apart. Construction material laying around. Loud rap music. Noisy kids
- Raymond (6/5): - The construction garbage all over , and work going on , the room was surprisingly clean and spacious , it was early so the work continued till after 6pm , was very tired so rested with the noise
- Michael (6/5): - It was perfectly fine for the night.
- Donna (4/5): - Tv moved. Could have painted that spot where tv used to be. Smelled of smoke/mold. Broken towel rack in bathroom. Toilet did not flush. No extra security lock on doors. Corners of br looked like there was build up of dirt. How can they justify cost of room. Outside looked like it was in the process of facelift.
- Kailyn (3/5): Under construction, tiny room w/safety concerns - The staff was very friendly and our room was clean. The property is falling apart, our room was so small we could barely fit all of our luggage in with us, and the second floor looks like it could collapse at any minute. There are construction materials all over, the walls are paper thin and the doors don’t feel secure at all. We felt unsafe staying there with our infant.
- Bändöö (7/5): -
- Greg (1/5): - Falling in had to walk through 2x4’s holding up the upper deck was blood in the room
- Greg (2/5): - This place is so terrible that we walked into our room and immediately left. Had to find another place to stay. The second floor walkway is propped up with an occasional 2x4. Bags of Quickcrete laying around. Trash everywhere! And the last straw was bugs in the bed! I didn't even stick around to try to get a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE and shame on Expedia for even including this place in their listings!
- Compass26472393915 (2/5): Disgusting and shady - I arrived to check in and saw that this motel looked all down cap from the outside. The manager checked me name(sharez) not sure how to spell . I was on a bike trip. He told me there were no available rooms on the first floor so I thought OK no big deal carried my bike up. then I saw there were only three cars in the parking lot and it looked like they were like 12 units on the first floor. got into the room was looking around and it was disgusting. Filthy smelled like smoke. went down and asked for another room and he said there was none available !! Looked around more. The floor was filthy in the bathroom. There was no towel rack or toilet paper roll racks they were repairing the wall in the bathroom. The window had no curtain. It was filthy. I emptied the garbage from the waste paper basket it was filthy on the inside. There was a dirty Q-tip. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned that waste paper basket ever I noticed after I slept in the bed, I found hairs and mostly disgusting a pubic hair. There is a Tim Hortons next-door thank God cause the breakfast they offered. It was nothing and I didn’t wanna drink coffee out of that machine. God knows how long it was sitting there so I come back in five minutes went into the bathroom saw that the window was open and it was closed when I left. Left me with an insecure feeling about staying there. I feel that the so-called manager was shady gave evil aura about him was not friendly. I would never ever stay in that motel again for you people considering staying there don’t do it. They should be ashamed of themselves at building should be condemned.
- Federico (3/5): Non ci tornerò - Era abbastanza in ordine Tutto il resto compreso il costo
- Randy (4/5): - Rough structure and basic accommodations. Room was clean and served the purpose for my dog show trip. Major disappointment was that the tv did not work and staff could not remedy. Kept loosing connection and shutting down after 2 to 5 minutes. Was told it was likely because it had rained. Frustrating when the adjacent room had tv on all night long
- Scott (1/5): Never never never again - Nothing Dump. Major dump. Shouldn’t be on booking.com. The surprise on our faces when we arrived. Should just have left
- TRACI (2/5): - Didn't stay. Property was falling apart
- Edward (3/5): I would never book EconoLodge again. - The room once inside was adequate. The entire property was under construction. The second floor debris was crumbling and falling down in front of first floor rooms. Outside of rooms was dirty. TV was barely adequate.
- Kimmy (1/5): Hazardous conditions - Nothing Very dirty, second floor balcony extremely dangerous, hanging off building, falling apart. Front lobby extremely dirty, build in desperate need of upkeep. Didn't even attempt to get into room. Conditions were extremely hazardous to even attempt to get into room.
- Gaurang (2/5): - Absolutely do not stay, EVEN if you have to. Rooms are literally falling apart, with cabinets missing doors, towel rack missing bars, and lights not working. The floor is sticky and will leave your feet BLACK. Found hair on my bed, likely from a precious occupant
- LISA (6/5): It was clean and I slept well. - It was cheap It is falling apart!!!
- Thomas (2/5): Stay away! - Hotel very rough shape see pics. Inside just as bad as the outside. Horrible smell in the room. No towels. Just overall dirty and poor. Stay away!
- Sokhea (4/5): - Paint pealing old and run down on the outside area
- Janelle (8/5): - The property is falling apart. Outside was dilapidated. Room furniture very outdated. Bathroom is at the front of the room. Awkward.
- Uttam (4/5): - The exterior of the building is terrible.
- Tim (2/5): Not recommended - Disgusting room. Sheets had hair and crumbs all on the sheets, along with red stains and holes.
- Tyler (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Verified traveler (2/5): D - This place should be closed down. Our room was not clean. I had to ask for different pillows bc mine were not clean and the ones I got smelled of cigarette smoke. Overflowing smelly garbage can outside the rooms and when I told them they should empty it they looked at me like I was crazy. Lazy staff who made a young girl who looked about 13 or 14 do the work. Disgusting place.
- Julianne (6/5): Meh - TV, AC Dirty
- Brian (2/5): - I have stayed at several Econo lodges in the past. All of them were clean inside and out. This one however, was filthy and run down. I would avoid this place at all costs
- joseph (6/5): -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't stay here - Place is a disaster. Looks dirty, food not cleaned up in lobby. Garbage can overflowing. Staff just siting around. My sister's room had dirty sheets and towel. Just gross.
- Donns (7/5): Clean conveniently located - Clean comfortable Drape rod was hanging and toilet seat was not tight
- April (3/5): Will NOT stay again - No bedbugs or roaches, as people mentioned. Check in was at 3. We checked in at approximately 315 and was told our room wasn't ready yet and to return 30m later. When we returned, I checked the bed for bugs, like I do with any type of hotel. Even though it was bug free, the sheets were dirty. I asked to have the sheets replaced and when we returned late that night, they were. The dresser drawers were dirty so we didn't use the dresser. Breakfast consisted of only cornflakes and coffee...could've been more in the little fridge in the lobby but we didn't hang around enough to investigate.
- bert (2/5): - its was no good of a trip. nothing worked in the rooms and no cable only apps tv you had to pay for
- Richard (2/5): - We did not stay here. We asked for our money back. The paint was peeling on the outside, soffit was falling off, very dirty and rundown. People were living there permanently. We didn’t feel safe there. The room was very small and dss as Ted.
- Mary (2/5): - We didn't stay the night, at 20:50 i dropped off the room key and a female employee stated no further action needed.
Hotel in state of disrepair with unsavory characters outside.
Room has sticky floors so much that my kids were making jokes. Kids refused to sleep on the bed.
Bed had unidentified bugs under the covers, both sheets had cigarette burns. There was trash around the room , used bandaid, dirty napkins.
The AC also had an unidentified pink sticky substance.
When in the lobby, the employee was reviewing CCTV footage with what appeared to be a long term guest regarding what seemed to be a car break in incident.
- Neil (6/5): - Needs a bit more cleaning and touch uos like some outlets not working and walls had drywall tape on it toilet barely flushed and it ran all night, for a quick stop its good for a vacation not so much
- Kara (8/5): - Tim hortons is right outside your window, my favorite
- Anikwe (4/5): Bad exterior, okay interior, just needed a cheap place to sleep for the night - The inside was surprisingly very nice and clean but it was a little outdated The outside looked nothing like the pictures it was more ran down than what the pictures showed the place virtually looked ran down
- Barry (6/5): - The place was dirty and rundown had more permanent residence Than people renting rooms desk clerks were never at front desk for eighty four dollars a day I could have and should have gotten a rb will never stay in another eco lodge
- Kruger (1/5): I paid for a room I could not stay in - Nothing. The room was filthy. It had roaches, dust on the furniture, the walls damaged, toilet moldy. We did not stay. I called for a refund, but they are asking for photos that I did not take. Was not in the room long enough to take photos. This location is very sketchy.
- Sanchez (9/5): Superb - Room Price
- Gregory (10/5): good - good noting
- Malcolm (4/5): - Not enjoyable!
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (5/5): Passable - Cheap for Sat night Old bld not renovated very old and outdated
- Stephen (4/5): - The place does not look cared for. The room was clean, but no maids in 5 days. The walls had chipping paint. The exterior seemed unsafe due to failing concrete and broken screens in windows. The bagels in the continental breakfast were stale. The lobby was dirty and disorderly.
- Casey (2/5): - Drove with two young kids to stay one night with my husband. Arrived and people were sitting in lawn chairs outside yelling, fighting, drinking, being belligerent. We did not even proceed to the room because of how unsafe the environment was. Ended up eating the cost of the room and booking with a hotel down the street. The staff were very nice but if you have children, do not stay here.
- Mark (8/5): Good night sleep! - Restaurants within walking distance.
- Christine (2/5): - Did not stay. There were five cop cars outside, pointing their lights at one of the guest’s room. A sketchy man standing out watching as I entered the room. Did not feel safe at all and left immediately to check into a different property.
- John (4/5): - I knew what I was getting into...I had read the reviews, but I did't want to spend 200 dollars for one night
- Shui (6/5): - This motel is very close to SUNY Brockport and the price is reasonable.
- Natasha (6/5): - The exterior was dirty, remnants of yellow crime tape, people lingering in parking lot and near stairwells who looked like addicts and were loud, stairwell was dark and narrow and had trash in walkway
- Tyler (2/5): Horrible Experience - I have already filed a report but highly do not recommended. Believe people are living here, there is shopping carts everywhere. I had a man try to enter my vehicle. Unclean rooms, and did not feel safe here with my family. Ended up leaving and going to another hotel
- Madeline (6/5): - The carpet was torn, the tile floor had several tile loose, the toliet paper holder was torn off the wall, the window would not lock, the freezer in the frig was a solid block of ice,the T.V. was taken off the wall and wires were hanging down and there was a big spot that was not painted where the T.V. use to be ,there were wires hanging down under the table between the beds.
- Cheryl (4/5): - The shower was surprisingly nice with good pressure & warmth & cleanliness. They had lots of little amenities like reading lights, magnifying mirror, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc They had adequate sample toiletries. We had enough clean towels. The staff was pleasant enough. The AC worked well. The location was good on a main road & there was a Wegmans across the street. There was peeling paint in bathroom ceiling, the toilet leaked water onto the floor, the plumbing was very noisy with banging noises a lot, the floor was dirty with my bare feet, there was a dead bug under my pillow, the mattress was very squeaky, the pillows were very small, the toilet seat moved around, the towel rack was broken. The outside was ugly and there appeared to be a drug dealer doing deals in the parking lot. The first night there were people partying late into morning hours being loud.
- Gregg (6/5): - Na
- Bonifacio (2/5): - Hotel is run down. People are outside drugged up laying on the ground. Just not a pleasant place at all would not stay again.
- Jamylette (10/5): Tick or flea? - It was clean and the air conditioner worked. I found a flea in the bathroom. Or it mightve been a tick. Not sure but it was scary looking.
- Rodney (6/5): - If you're just passing through. It's.
Clean and quiet. Just
The basics. Building is a little run down.
- Devante (4/5): - It wasn't that clean i feel like its need more work to it to be comfortable to stay in
- william (8/5): - Ok
- Douglas (10/5): - Everything was fine
- Susanta (10/5): - Great
- Mike (1/5): Close this place down! - Nothing My room key card didn't work. The owner had to assist Everytime. He had issues too. Never offered a new room. The facilities were dirty room was Dusty untidy. The breakfast that's advertised is stale cereal hard bagels that mainly the staff eats. Weirdly they serve food no health department stickers or plaques.
- Ivy (1/5): Awful - This was awful they didn’t even let me in even though I paid for the visit on booking
- David (4/5): - New floors and paint but broken hair dryer, no toilet paper and bed lights circuit not working until fixed by front desk, Poor and not enough pillows, stairs in rough shape.
Good staff but not enough staff
- Kaniet (1/5): Bad - location 80$ per night , you would expect your room to be clean . floors were nasty , fridge dirty . everything was dirty .
- billie (2/5): - this place was disgusting! this place did not match the pictures on expedia. i did not stay here and was refused a refund.
- Samantha (4/5): - Staff were friendly, but the condition of the property was terrible. Beds and rooms decently clean, should invest in their renovating or updating property.
