• Alan (8/5): Surprising find. New favorite! - For being an older hotel on a major highway, it was surprisingly quiet, clean, and roomy. Last minute trip on a busy weekend, I was quite surprised to find an affordable room, let alone such a nice one. Parking lot was small and crowded, but easily accessible from the main highway.

• Thomas (2/5): Disappointed - N/a Very noisy heater. Poorly insulated room. Refrigerator noisy(fan squealed) when running and disturbed sleep as did heater. Turned thermostat down on heater but still would come on and wake us up. Overall, very disappointed. Location noisier than previous visit. Bath room had no source of heat so taking shower was colder than it should have been. Beds were comfortable. In sum, neglected maintenance on room.

• Erick (1/5): Good stay horrible owners called the police for no reason and said I was yelling when him and his wi - It was comfortable I stay here day by day for3days and I told them they could take the deposit for the last night they said okay but once returning to the room the key didn’t let me in the room with my items still in the room it was about 11pm it was late and I didn’t want wake them up from there sleep so I left. When I ask to get a refund on my deposit they wouldn’t give me my deposit or the difference atleast.

• ROBERT (10/5): Clean rooms and good service - Just passing through and was pleased eith 83 Motel. Its an older motel but it was clean and relaxing. I'd stay here again.
• Jeanne (6/5): - When we opened the door to our room we were greeted with multiple stains in the carpet. The room had an odor that smelled like wet dog. On the positive side, bedding was clean, refrigerator worked well and the shower pressure was good.

• DAVID (4/5): - They didn't hnor the price Expedia had posted. It was late and I had no other place to stay so I went with it. The room was nice, but had a slight odor I couldn't identify. There was a fridge and microwave which was nice.

It was further off the road from I 80 than I realized and was not sure what we were in for. Great deal for the price. Never stayed in North Platte before so we weren't sure about this town, after seeing some shady stuff going down at the gas station we stopped at before checking in. Would go there again.

• Kelli (8/5): Compassion - I booked for two days this time. we stayed at 83 before, long-term while moving to North Platte. My kids especially loved the pool !! The owners are VERY conscientious of their Hotel. It's kept very clean. Rooms are fresh, good size, and yes, very comfortable too. Customer service is amazing and not just sometimes...always. Breakfast is in the main office and available early.

• Gennese (8/5): Quiet and nice for a night. - Not a bad place to stay the night at. The room was relatively clean. The breakfast was small but okay. The staff was friendly. My only complaint really is that the bed was a bit hard. Of course, some people like a very firm mattress so your mileage may vary.

• G (4/5): - Was only driving through, just needed a bed. What we got was a brick that was about equivalent to sleeping on a spring box, a beetle in the sink, and several spiders in the shower.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - There was dirt all over the bathroom counter and mirror. Yes, dirt and mud. I could wipe it off with a towel, so no one had tried to clean it before me. There was a large spider in the bathub, and the room smelled terrible, musty and overpowering. The pillow cases seemed clean, but the pillows themselves smelled strongly of smoke, in a non-smoking room. It was hard to sleep because of the smell. The bathroom door would not close and the tub felt gritty. The staff was very nice and the breakfast area was clean, but other than that the place was a dump.
• Cameron (4/5): - The hotel staff was not friendly, they were not unkind but simply not welcoming. There were bugs everywhere outside the door and the room smelled moldy. When we turned on the faucets a fowl smell came out of them. We were too tired to change anything so m we just slept and got out as quickly as we could.

• Amy (4/5): Bugs, blood, and garbage - Upon entering our room I immediately had to kill three cockroaches. There were more crickets than I could count all over the room as well. There was blood on one of the sheets and garbage under the table. I was so disgusted I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Check in process was lengthy. bed was good, clean but outdated Not really in the location of having things near by - ate at a subway gas station to avoid the drive back over the bridge
