• Rick (4/5): - Location was ok. The property was in poor repair, and didn't look clean. Air conditioner wasn't working. Curtains were all messed up and barely connected to the curtain rails. I tried fixing them myself and gave up.

• 486menam (2/5): Worst experience ever! Worst service. - Terrible experience. We booked a king room with a jacuzzi, but when we arrived, we were told the listing was wrong. The staff said they only have one room with a jacuzzi, and it was not working anyway. We paid for a king room, but then they told us it was not available. The employee even admitted that the photos/listing were not accurate and said they needed to take the photos down. This was very misleading and disappointing. Absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences. Do not recommend

• Trail65147440499 (2/5): Go Elsewhere! - We recently stayed here as it was budget friendly and had a kids pool area, which ended up being closed. But when we got to our room it was your typical run down hotel room but sleepable. We immediately noticed some damages that I brushed off as whatever, because I assumed they just didn't want to replace them yet, no biggie to me as that doesnt bother me. However, upon my checkout I was charged for those damaged items. When I tried to dispute it by calling, I was immediately transferred to the manager Rick, whom spoke over me rudely and wouldn't even listen to me, and when I tried to speak up he hung up on me. He now will not take my calls. I'm an honest person. If I damaged something that costs $150, then charge me, that's fine. BUT you will not be charging me for damages I did not create that existed when I arrived. Since they will not take my calls, I am filing a chargeback, filing a complaint with the better business bureau, and have already emailed their corporate office as well. I do hope Rick gets reprimanded, as its super unprofessional to hang up on a customer, and even more unprofessional to charge someone for damages they didnt create. I definitely won't be staying at another Comfort Inn. 0/10 Wouldn't recommend.
• Foster (1/5): - The children's pool was closed off and the hot tub is out of commission for the last 7 years according to the front desk clerk. The pool area for children was our main reason for booking the room at this hotel. She offered to approve a cancelation free of charge for me, as our main reason for choosing the hotel was the pool. Unfortunately, booking.com emailed instead of calling and the manager on duty the next day refused to issue the refund. We didn't even stay the night, we went elsewhere in order to have a children's pool. Very disappointed, as I paid $124 for a room we didn't use, in addition to the other hotel. That is a lot of money to loose for my family.
• Cante (1/5): Terrible customer service, terrible staff except for three of the ladies - The pool, and the shower. The staff, and the way we were treated trying to get some breakfast the first morning there. And we we're threatened to be kicked out, for defending ourselves.

• AJMcFrederick (2/5): Do Not Stay - If you have any issues with booking, the owner does not care. The manager was great but only can do so much. The hotel is run down and the pool area has not been fixed in years and parts out of service. The owner should be ashamed.

They actually stayed open during the posted time of their breakfast. The check in desk was well manned at all hours.

• Cole (1/5): Aweful hotel, would not recommend - nothing Our room was dirty the main door barely locked. The heater did not work and the room had bed bugs! Not to mention the pool was closed and that conveniently was not mentioned until after the room was booked. The pool was ice cold anyway and the waterslides had even colder water. The hot-tub was closed. The only door that worked was the main entrance. Someone else tried entering our room shortly after we checked in. We didn’t use the shower, but everything looked fairly clean to us at a glance.
• 699stacit (2/5): So gross - I don't know how this has a good review. We booked almost 2 weeks in advance for the Hot Air Ballon festival in Medora. Booked a 2 room suite at a place that advertised it had a wonderful pool. Got to the place and it was extremely run down. It looked like it wasn't taken care of on the outside at all-not a good start. Walked in, and it smelled. There was dog poop in the hallway. The front desk receptionist told us the pool was too gross to be used-the whole reason we booked. We went to look for ourselves and it was so grimey you couldn't see the bottom. It had been a long day...so we decided it was fine and continued to check in. Was informed that basically everything is broken-the only door we can use is the front. Again...it'd been a long day. Got to the room-it smelled HORRIBLE and it wasn't the room we reserved. Called around and found a nearby last minute room that basically tripled my price but it was worth it. While leaving Comfort Inn, I was stopped by 2 families asking why I was leaving and shared the same experience as my family. So disappointing and irritating. I wish I would've taken pictures but I just wanted out of there.

• Danica (2/5): - We picked this hotel specifically for the pool. When we arrived, the front desk attendant informed us that the main pool was shut down but the kids pool area was open. We were disappointed but checked in as our kids are younger and would still have fun. Entering our room, the first thing we noticed was a damp smell. The room itself looked mostly ok at first glimpse but was dated, some walls had bits of plaster fall off and there was a grounding cable sticking out from behind the AC. The prospect of pool time kept us there. We took a break and an hour later went to check out the pool. There was no sign at the door informing about the shut down. When we saw that the water for the kids pool area was shut off, we went back to the front desk and were rather rudely informed that "as she said" the pool was shut down (no, she said only the main pool was shut down). The kids were crushed as by now it was too late to find another hotel. Took the kids for ice cream. After getting back and getting ready for bed, we found stains on the sheet (underneath the comforter). One pillow had mascara stains, another had a big whole in the pillow case (both on the backside, so not visible earlier). Nobody at the front desk to talk to. The night itself was rough. The AC was noisy and the room likely had mold somewhere as I started having breathing issues. At 3am we had enough and decided to leave. While packing up, we found a cockroach. Nobody at the front desk to discuss issues with. Never again.

When we brought it up to management they just told us the room was useable and fine and that they “wouldn’t charge us for damages later”. When trying to check out we had to hunt down someone who worked there to finally give us a receipt. Spent 148 dollars on a dirty and damaged room… not very thrilled.

• terrywD1824FB (2/5): Yuck - I guess I’m done with comfort inns. This place is certainly not what you see in the pictures on the ratings for trip advisor. It’s old and nasty. My wife just looked at yelp and it shows a 2.4 stars. Trip advisor ratings are not accurate for this place!
• Verified traveler (2/5): NOT family friendly - Checked in, took the kids to the pool, and after less than 10 minutes, we took the kids to change and booked at another hotel! The room was gross and felt dirty, toilet seat was broken, hot tub under construction, and the pool was so full of chemicals or who knows what, that my kids couldn’t breathe or see their dive sticks at the bottom on the shallow end…we ended up leaving some in the pool because they couldn’t see them and they kept saying the pool took their breathe away. The front desk lady was sweet at check in, and when I told her we were leaving and why, she said she’d give us a refund, but I’m not convinced that will happen. Disgusting place and an experience we have never had before.

The air conditioning in the common areas did not work - it was over 90 degrees outside and close to that inside. The manager on duty was very understanding and good to work with. The building seems to be in general disrepair, both inside and outside. Wish I’d read the reviews prior to booking! Cancelled my room (Expedia was surprisingly great to work with) and went across the street to a much cleaner and less expensive hotel.
• Gary (9/5): Overall, it was a very good stay. - 1) The parking lot was very weird. 2) Only 1 elevator which was on the very opposite side of the hotel nearest the north wing from our room in the south wing. Since the hotel also has a south wing, there probably be 2 elevator. 3) We were not able to use the closest entrance door because something was wrong with the keypad.

One of the beds was broke, there were left over clothes in the armour. The 2nd time we stayed I received the right room but the TV didn't work. Pretty much told we had to deal with it. The hot tub was not usable, the pool water was cold. The pictures are outdated. I would never stay here again not worth the money.
• Robert (10/5): Pool great - The toilet seat was so loose almost fell off. Bed blankets torn open at seams with stuffing coming out. Staff was great. Pool very nice and clean
• LAURIE (6/5): - The swimming pool was ice cold. There are no lilly pads and rope like it shows in the pictures. Hot tub fenced off, broken down. Very disappointing for us and the children. The slide and spash area were acceptable.
• Senovia (3/5): My stay was convenient but uncomfortable. - The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was pretty decent. The a/c is ridiculous. It worked in our room for one night. There is a drastic difference in temperature in the hallways and eating area. So hot and uncomfortable. Even the workers seemed uncomfortable and sweating constantly. Our room key also stopped working twice and never worked for the exit doors near my room. The blankets and sheets were stained with yellow spots.
• Trina (2/5): - Terrible place. Dirty and lack of employees who speak English.
• Melanie (4/5): - Had a reservation for a suite which we didn't get. Bedding was stained and dirty. A/C in hotel didn't work. Ice machine was broken.

• 150drakeb (2/5): Contacted Health Dept. - Zero stars would be appropriate. The hotel was absolutely filthy. We discovered old food under the bed along with some sort of dirty food container. There was also what appeared to be blood stains on the comforter or poop stains on the sheets. The floors clearly had not been vacuumed in the room or mopped/swept in the bathroom. The toilet also did not function properly...took three flushes to work. When we brought these issues up to the general manager, who refused to provide his name, he stated that because we did not immediately (within 10 mins) bring this to his attention he would not do anything to rectify the situation (refund for that first night/discount of some sort). We did get moved to a new room....where we discovered used Qtips, probably several years old, in the heating vents, along with a shower that would not heat properly. In addition, we have several unexplained bug bites on our ankles. A thorough inspection of the room did not reveal any bed bugs, but unsure of where the bites came from otherwise. When I met with the general manager to discuss again, he became very aggressive. Slammed the table, stood up and got in my face, telling me it is my fault for not saying something sooner and refusing to provide any genuine apology or discount again. He also kept AirPods in the whole time and did not really pay any attention to me, or any guest for that matter. His lack of care or professionalism was appalling. He should not have a job. I have contacted the North Dakota health department and reported the hotel for their lack of cleanliness.
• Roxanne (4/5): - Small rooms, cheap beds not comfortable, tv didn't work, card keys didn't work after checking in then again the next day. However the room was clean and staff was friendly.
• Krista (2/5): - Booked this property mid-May for June 20th-22nd. It was a king bed room with a pull out couch and the reservation showed it was for 2 adults and 2 children. Went to make up the couch for kids and realized they provided no bedding or pillows. Went to the front desk and the just said sorry, we've given all the extras away because of the extra kids staying here. Except my kids werent extra. My room was reserved for 4 people so those should have been provided. I got a shrug and we'll talk to the housekeep in the morning. Turns out we didnt need the bedding because the AC was broken. It had an error code and was just blowing air from outside. So we all roasted all night long. The room is dated and dirty/stained. Other items that we had issues with were the rod for the shower curtain was falling off so the curtain would not stay closed and came open about 6-12 inches on both sides. We checked out a day early because of the issues we had. When I checked out and explained the issues, I was told that i would get $143 refunded when the person that could do it was there later in the day. It was $400 for the 2 nights booked and 2 days later, I still do not shiw that I have a refund pending. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.
• Jennifer (6/5): - Property was convenient for shopping, food, and the field. Unfortunately there were missing amenities.
• Emily (2/5): Literal stay from Hell - I was going to stay for 2 nights. Many of my other friends stayed there as well with our kids. When we first got there, we were told that there were no key cards, but one master key. That we would need to have a guy escort us to our rooms whenever we needed to get in. This guy was nice, but was NOT an actual employee of the hotel. First red flag. We were told that this guy was the “special friend” of the receptionist. All of our rooms were gross. Mine had a hole in the wall, a broken air conditioner, a nice musty mold smell, dirty wet carpet, a dirty ceiling, dirty sheets, a dirty bathroom and light switches. The cherry on top was when I pulled my covers up to sleep that night and a giant booger patch was on the outside of the comforter. Bleh. The pool area was gross, dirty pool stairs up to the slide, a dripping ceiling in the pool area, and sharp spots on the pool floor in the kid’s area. The pool was missing the floating logs to jump onto while holding onto the ropes ect. The breakfast was fine, wasn’t great, afterwards we had to find someone to walk us to our rooms. The employee on staff said that she didn’t have time to take us to our rooms. Proceeded then to hand me the MASTER KEY CARD TO THE HOTEL. Then told me to give my 13 YEAR OLD SON the key to bring it back to the desk. We decided right then to find a different hotel for that night. Huge SAFETY ISSUE. They refused to refund us. Even though we have picture evidence. P.S. I have more pics ;)
• Glenda (9/5): Superb - It was quiet and convenient. It had the room features I needed.(i.e fridge, microwave) It would have been more convenient to have a key card, but these things happen.
• Kayla (2/5): - This stay was horrible. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for one night in the filthy room! I had some bugery slime all over the walls, the towels in the room were brown. The blankets were stained. Unfortunately the filth wasnt the reason I left. The night before we checked in the hotels key card coder caught fire so the hotel was unable to give guest key cards. I understand this was out of the hotels control. However the next morning after breakfast when it was time to head back to my room I was handed the master key from a teen age boy who had just opened his room and passed it on. It was being handed around from guest to guest with no supervision. This had me very concerned for my belongings but mostly for my daughter's and I's safety. The hotel denys this is what happened and is so rude and could care less about the safety of the guest. Do not stay here. There's so many more things I could write but I just dont want to give it any more of my time.
