• Anissa (1/5): Disgusting rooms - Location Our room had a sewer smell and the jacuzzi tub was NASTY. Told us to check out and find a different hotel. There were no other rooms every hotel was booked. They moved us to another room and light switches didn’t work. Room wasn’t very clean.

• Jody (5/5): OK but not happy they didn' - It seemed pretty clean. Couldn't tell what was recently remodeled (email from hotel said it was remodeled or renovated). The website lists amenities that aren't true or available. We picked this because it had Fitness listed in amenities ( I wanted to walk on treadmill). There was none. When we asked front desk person where it was, she said there wasn't one and where did I see that listed. I told her and she looked it up and was going through the list. She said there were other things on the list that they also didn't have. Someone needs to update this!
• Land (6/5): - Hotel was easy to find. Room was clean and comfortable. The wall of the shower had a large crack that should have been repaired before rerenting the room. The silicone repair was ridiculous. We were unable to get the tv to work. Kept saying that a connection was loose. Staff at check-in and check-out were not rude, but not friendly either.

• Jill (8/5): Overall, a clean and friendly stay with fair weekday value, but steep weekend pricing. - I stayed at the Comfort Inn Grand Island North for three nights (March 18–21) and had a mixed but overall decent experience. The first couple of nights were reasonably priced and felt like a good value. However, once the weekend rates kicked in, the price nearly doubled. I understand weekend demand drives pricing, but given the competition from nearby hotels, a more moderate increase might attract more guests and keep rooms filled rather than pricing some travelers out. The room itself was clean and functional, and housekeeping did a solid job. That said, there was a noticeable crack running down the shower wall tile that should be addressed. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, even though not everyone spoke fluent English. Amenities were a bit hit or miss. The pool was unfortunately ice cold on our second day, so we weren’t able to enjoy it much. The continental breakfast was average, nothing particularly memorable. One suggestion for improvement would be adding a comfortable common or meeting space, such as a small lounge or conference room with seating, tables, and a TV. This would make it easier for families or groups to gather and spend time together. Overall, I would consider staying here again during the weekdays when prices are more reasonable, but I would likely look elsewhere for weekend stays due to the significant price increase. Grand Island has plenty of lodging options, and more are being built, so competitive pricing will matter. The steep weekend price increase, the pool being too cold to use, and the overall average breakfast.
• Dorsear (8/5): Good hotel, but I need a little privacy. - The room was clean and fully stocked. The breakfast was great with sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, and waffles. The heavier curtains only close two third of the windows. The sheer curtains did over the full window.

Some of the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful, not all though.

• Jeannine (10/5): Would go again! - It was convenient, clean, loved the jacuzzi!! The breakfast was perfect, plenty of space. The staff was very subtle but ever present with cleaning things. I felt like the noise of the jacuzzi might disturb the neighbors - I could hear them talking from their rooms. It was also awkward to have the light switch to turn the jacuzzi on so far from the tub - I understand why, but it's a little conspicuous to get out in front of the mirrors to turn it on and off. Maybe a cover for the mirrors for those who are traveling alone and just using the jacuzzi after a long day on the road. :)

I don’t like that I requested and was approved for a crib to be set up in our room weeks before arrival, then the front desk person just wheeled a crib over to me while I’m trying to carry a baby, luggage etc. and did not get any staff to set up the crib for me. Other hotels during our trip already had the crib set up in the room upon arrival. The room was small and dark, outdated, breakfast not appealing compared to the price we paid.

I was basically told, tough. "We have lots of high school students in the hotel and they need time to settle in." No apology. Just, tough. Really poor customer service.

The hotel was outdated, but clean. It was pretty loud. We could hear people in the hallways and next door. For the money, it was fine while passing through.
