Guest Reviews
- Kevin (10/5): Location was excellent and just a short walk to the waterfront. Staff were knowledgeable off the area and great advice o - Staff were very friendly and helpful Nothing

Stationnement gratuit
Nous ont donné un sac déjeuner car nous quittions très tôt!
- Q7453HEdeborahc (2/5): Worst food at a restaurant I ever ate - My adult children and my boyfriend went to the Mother's Day brunch May 10th. I'm sorry but it was the worst experience of food I ever had. The only choice out of the brunch choices was a turkey dinner that was gluten free. The dessert was not gluten free but they accommodated upon asking for a gluten-free dessert. Being gluten I did not want the turkey dinner which was my only choice so I chose the quiche lorraine and got rid of the crust. Trying to cut into it it was extremely dry and hard and half of my meal flipped off the plate and went on to the floor. The table was offered buns and bread but nothing was offered to me for gluten-free and when I asked the guy apologized and said we don't have any gluten-free bread so I watched my family eat in front of me. My other three company did not totally enjoy their meal either for the price of $40 it was absolutely gross. The waiter should have been in a race car because he spoke so fast and zoomed by us like he was high on some sort of speed I know this is not nice to say but I did not feel that it was an intimate Mother's Day brunch I felt that it was a fast-paced, store-bought Frozen packaged food the guest who had gravy on their plate suggested the same. I would not recommend another Mother's Day brunch at this Quality Inn restaurant very very disappointed I left dissatisfied and unhappy
- Aileen (10/5): -
- Kathleen (9/5): Excellent and warm and friendly staff. - Gave us an upgrade when we were in the city for two deaths of loved ones. Breakfast was not open over the holidays.
- connie (10/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): Great location, helpful staff, clean facilities and comfortable beds. - The breakfast was okay. To strict on the menu. Breakfast would be better as a buffet.
- Heather (9/5): -
- Frances (8/5): - Clean room, nice friendly staff
- Alisha (10/5): - The ice machine worked. The front staff was lovely. Her name was Katelyn (not sure on the spelling), she checked us in and my friends and I went to an event, she told us how lovely we looked. She was great.
The restaurant was good, I liked that it wasn't self serve and they had enough options. Pleased with our stay.
- Mary (10/5): - Breakfast egg, cheese, and bacon on English muffin very good. Also offered scrambled eggs with ham and toast, or waffles with blueberries. Nice rooms, lots of hot water, in room coffee keurig. Good stay.
- Jianfeng (8/5): - Given the hotel locates in downtown area and still offering free on site parking is pretty precious. However the property is relatively old with limited charge cord and we found an oil stain on the quilt cover as soon as we checked in. The staff did manage to change the cover for us.
- Leslie (10/5): - A fantastic location and a Great breakfast
- Gilles (10/5): - Excellent healthy breakfast and walking around was safe
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Goo Location for walking and restaurants
- Mark (10/5): - Staff was very nice. Good location. Within walking distance to dining and shopping. Would have been nice to have extended hours for the hotel restaurant. Smallish TV.
- Ken (10/5): -
- Alexandre (8/5): - Rooms were large and clean and we can ask for when we want service which is both more ecological and also controls when others enter our room.
- Hélène (8/5): - Magnifique
- Robert (8/5): - Overall a very nice stay, good location close to downtown. Front of house staff is wonderful. Along with the servers at breakfast. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. But for $375 per night (stayed two nights) the hotel could step it up with little touches. Bed was a little too short for a 6'2" person. Feet off the end.
Pillows were lumpy and not great quality. Shower temp takes a while to respond so you never know if you got it right for temperature. Soap bar leaves a film on your hands and body.
Just little touches would make the hotel a little better. The water jug in the lobby is cold in the morning but by later in the day it is room temperature. Throw a slice of lemon or two and some ice in it. Again, a very enjoyable stay and would recommend but for the price would have loved those nice touches and a longer bed for sure.
- Mary Teresa (10/5): - We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The location is great for exploring charlottetown, very walkable. The breakfasts were awesome, staff was lovely and the room was clean and well appointed. Great experience.
- Iryna (7/5): -
- Vincent (8/5): -
- Karen (10/5): - Comfortable beds, great location, good breakfast.
- Robert (10/5): - Very friendly staff, qilling to go out of their way to make your stay perfect...
- Tonya (10/5): - N/A
- Emerson (10/5): - The breakfast option is good for all kind of diet. I have a vegan breakfast that was good for my needs. They offer also Gluten Free options, and of course a regular breakfast with a lot of options. The bed comfort was great.
- Nicole (10/5): - The hotel is dated but the location to the downtown core was great. We could walk to the waterfront
- John (10/5): - Hotel was very conveniently located close to main dining and shopping areas.
- Emily (7/5): - Its location and comfortable room.
- Jackqueline (8/5): - The breakfast was good, although limited options and not customizable. The hotel is older but in good condition and clean. Very convenient location, all staff were great - formally and helpful!
- Pradip (8/5): - Overall good.
- Simon (8/5): Good experience for an overnight stay - Loved that it is walking distance from downtown/confederation centre, liked the breakfast set-up (options with flexibility), and parking. However, access to the pool at the local community centre is hard to coordinate if you are only staying overnight/short time. It would probably be fine if you were there for a few days.
- Eleanor (10/5): - Great breakfast included. Made fresh, not a buffet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal downtown location.
- Michelle9845 (2/5): Broken glass - My husband and I stayed in a King Suite for 3 nights - lovely accommodations.
On the first evening, I stepped on a small shard of glass and was lucky enough to pull it out of my foot without issue. About an hour later, my husband stepped on another piece of glass but couldn’t see it.
In the morning, I tried unsuccessfully to remove the glass with tweezers. I eventually called the front desk to request a sewing kit so I could use the needle to lift out the glass.
The manager and asst manager delivered the sewing kit and bandages and showed appropriate concern. This is where it got weird and uncomfortable: they proceeded to tell us they personally inspect every suite prior to guests arriving and there was absolutely no glass in our room.
They asked us if we broke anything. Nope. They then kept saying what a surprise this is and a concern for them to solve where this glass came from. Again, they told us that when they inspected the room, there was no glass on the floor so it couldn’t have been there.
In spite of their accusatory tone, we were very amicable - stating that the previous guests likely broke something and a few pieces were missed - accidents happen. They explained to us again that it simply could not have happened because they inspected the room.
Sigh. We weren’t looking for any special treatment or discounts. We were being very agreeable and letting them know we weren’t upset - but my husband has a piece of glass in his foot.
We ended up going to emerg because he couldn’t walk. It was in there deep, but the doc got it. And if you think a piece of glass in the heel hurts, I’m told a needle for freezing is much worse ;)
When we went to the front desk later that evening about a separate query, the asst manager was at the desk and thoughtfully asked how my husband made out with his foot. We quickly explained that we spent the afternoon in emerg, but kept it short because we weren’t up for another conversation of “blame the guests”.
We lost a day of vacation due to this incident. Stuff happens. But their defensive attitude added more salt to the wound, so to speak.
- Yoon Jung (8/5): - We had a great one-night stay at the Quality Inn. To be honest, we didn’t have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a sink and some basic kitchenware in the room. While some of the fabric furnishings like the sofa looked a bit dated, the room was very clean, which made it totally fine. The bed was also clean and comfortable.
Breakfast wasn’t a buffet — instead, you chose your items from a menu. It took a bit longer compared to a self-serve buffet, which was slightly inconvenient, but the food was good. One downside was that the hotel doesn’t have a pool on-site, but if you ask at the front desk, they’ll give you a pass to use the pool at the Bell Aliant Centre. That actually turned out to be a more fun experience for the kids!
- Dennis Justin (10/5): - Nice hotel. Breakfast is really good.
- Gursharan (8/5): - Close to everything very convenient all though price is little steep per night
- Odette (8/5): - Cleanliness was great. It would have been nice of front desk employee to advise us that the ice machine wasn't working and that ice was available at front desk.
- Marie-josée (8/5): De passage pour une nuit seulement - Lits confortables
Bien situé au centre ville Propreté des fauteuils et du bain moyenne
- Safari804875 (10/5): Clean and comfortable, great location - We stayed one night while in town to see a show at Confederation Center, which was just a 10 minute walk away. Our room was clean and quiet and the beds comfortable. The included breakfast was great.
- sonam (10/5): - Great hotel
RAS
- Mark (9/5): Great spot in DT Charlottetown. - Location was great for easy access to Downtown Charlottetown. Having a restaurant on-site was a bonus (food was quite good). Room was spacious and quiet. I appreciate that there is laundry access on the property. Front desk staff were great. Front entrance is not accessible, which makes it interesting when you want to use a luggage cart or anything else with wheels. There is a ground level entrance elsewhere but they didn't mention it when checking in.
- Vitobaldi (8/5): Very good - Limited choices. Would have preferred buffet.
- Anca (10/5): Exceptional -
- White (8/5): Very good - Loved the location
- Cristina (10/5): - We had a great stay. Checkin was quick, our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. Location was very convenient, easy to walk to downtown shops and restaurants
- Aurelio (9/5): Superb - Location, breakfast included and free parking Service during breakfast at rush hours, too few staff serving
- Josephine (10/5): - Clean close to everything and nice staff
- mrspaulh (10/5): Beautiful hotel and great location - This is a wonderful hotel. Walking distance to everything in downtown Charlottetown. Room was big and beds extremely comfy. We had the BEST sleep of our trip! Breakfast was hot and delicious(included)
- Sun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Clean and pleasant, good location - Staff pleasant, room clean and comfortable, breakfast good n/a
- usuck69 (10/5): Excellent hotel customer service & hot breakfast. - Very very good hotel & staff.
Tanya the General Manager & her staff fixed a problem very professionally.
Their hot breakfast is the best on the market.
- Leslie (10/5): - I appreciated the free parking and free breakfasts. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
- John S (6/5): Charlottetown overnight - Convenient overnight while visiting downtown Charlottetown. Felt dated but functional. Room rate seemed a bit expensive but probably competitive with nearby properties. Excellent included breakfast and service.
- Jennifer (10/5): - I was hesitant to stay at this hotel due to the location. I was concerned about being in what look like a questionable area. However those fears were unfounded. It was actually a great hotel amazing staff, amazing breakfast and you could easily walk around if you wanted to. I was concerned about walking around for my safety but nobody bothered me it felt very safe actually. I would 100% rebook at this hotel.
- Sharon (10/5): - great place to stay convenient to get around
- Hong (8/5): - The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
- Timothy (8/5): - Walkable to central and quayside. Large free car park.
- Brenda (10/5): - It is the ideal spot for tourist
- Tyler (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, a great location, and excellent staff! Appreciated the complete breakfast and everything in downtown Charlottetown was extremely walkable from here. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
- Srecko (9/5): Superb -
- 380mikek (10/5): I loved this place! - This is an older hotel with charm. It's very clean and remodeled. It's a great place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You won't find a better location and a good value close to downtown. Several bars, attractions and restaurants are within a few blocks walk. I am sure the breakfast is wonderful but unfortunately I wasn't able to eat it as I had to catch an early morning ferry. I know that guests are given a free voucher to order off of the menu. You get a home cooked breakfast!
- Amanda (5/5): Great location, comfy bed, bad breakfast. - The beds were super comfy. The location was great. Staff were friendly. It seemed like everything was out of order. Ice machine. ATM. The breakfast you pick between 5 different options and it was cold. A buffet would have been much better especially if you aren’t a big eater in the morning. I would have liked to be able to pick what I wanted not been told to pick between 5 meals. Food was not worth the price of the stay.
- Gary (10/5): - This is a top quality hotel located in the downtown core of the city. Convenient to everything. It was quiet, well run with a GREAT ordered breakfast, ( not cafeteria style ) with ordered meal choices, great food and excellent service. Staff were wonderful, helped with restaurant choices and directions. The beds were great, room very clean and large. I realy enjoyed my stay there.
- Stephanie (6/5): - The hotel was clean and so was the room but the beds and pillows were lumpy and really really uncomfortable. The cleaning staff was amazing and they always gave us extra coffee and garbage.
- Aline (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great hotel. It is within walking distance to downtown. There were numerous restaurants around us. We enjoyed the free breakfast which was fresh and delivered to our table with a smile each day. The staff was wonderful.
- Riaz (8/5): Marvellous - Excellent Nice
- Fred (2/5): Very poor -
- Dayna (8/5): Very good - The staff were very friendly and food was tastey
- Dong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (8/5): Kind staff, great location! - I loved the kindness of staff. I stayed overnight for a hospital treatment which would reduce my vision and make me unable to drive. They allowed me to check in very early, before my hospital visit, and put me into the room which had the most light - in this case the deluxe room. The location in the Charlottetown CBD is very convenient. The Quality Inn showed up in my Booking.com search as a hotel with a restaurant - but while I was there the restaurant closed after lunch. I thought this should have been flagged on their website. I particularly needed an in-house restaurant because of my reduced vision.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was good selection
- Marion (10/5): - Good stay
- Shayne (8/5): - A lovely place. Lovely staff
- Barry (9/5): Superb - Good portion size and very good quality food.
- LYNN (10/5): - It is an older property but very clean. Problem nb with fridge but not a big deal. ALL of the staff were very welcoming through my 3 days. Breakfast buffet no larger available but the free plated one was big and very tasty. Will definitely stay again.
- Bill (8/5): It was everything I needed or wanted from a hotel. - The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was accommodating and pleasant. I enjoyed my stay, everything I needed was provided. The only way it could have been better is if it was free. lol
- Lisa (10/5): - Staff were wonderful and close to downtown.
- Joan (9/5): comfortable and close to my appointments Thanks -
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Oksana (8/5): Very good -

- Lynn (10/5): - It was 3 blocks from the start/finish line for the Charlottetown Marathon and so convenient for me as a participant plus all staff were accommodating and cheered the runners on!
- Petro (7/5): Everything was okay. The breakfast was massive and quite tasty. - Not the newest hotel but everything was as expected. Water refill stations aren't available on the floors.
