Sabriya (8/5): Overall nice stay. The room was big and clean. The staff was friendly. I grabbed fruit for breakfast but there was eggs, - Really nice location not far from where I needed to be. I came in the evening so I didn’t get to see much on my way in and my view at night was some abandoned businesses across the driveway but when I woke up I saw a wonderful view of the mountains and saw there was a little playground across the street. There were a lot of truckers which made me a bit uneasy and the abandoned businesses around felt creepy
Mary (10/5): Mountain Getaway - This was an amazing stay. The rooms, bathroom was very clean. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Was impressed with breakfast, hot eggs,sausage, potatoes, biscuit and gravy, as well as the normal continental selections. If you want a quiet place nestled in mountains, this is it!

Andrew (8/5): - The curtains in my room had what looked like mold on them. It was very concerning, considering the curtains were directly over the AC unit. Every time the AC kicked on, the dirty curtains flowed with the fan and spread any germs or toxins in the air. The rest of the room and facility appeared to be well maintained for an older hotel.

Shiva (4/5): Disappointing - I liked the location of the apartment, the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having access to the internet. There were a few things I appreciated about the apartment—such as the location, the comfortable bed, and the internet access. However, overall, my experience was disappointing for several reasons: Poor communication: The hosts' tone in text messages was often rude and inappropriate. I didn’t feel respected as a guest. Misleading setup: This was my first time booking an apartment without seeing it in person. I assumed the bathroom would have a proper sink for handwashing, but there was only one very small sink used for everything—washing hands, dishes, etc.—which I found unhygienic and unacceptable. Lack of basic amenities: No laundry in the unit—they expected guests to use public laundromats. No vacuum cleaner—I had to use tissues and spray to clean the kitchen floor. No stove—I had to buy one myself from Walmart, which I left in the apartment for future guests. Cleanliness issues: The apartment, especially the bedroom, was dusty. It seemed like only the sheets were changed and the toilet cleaned. There were ants in the kitchen. I had to keep the area very clean to avoid an infestation. I sent photos to the host, and only then did they bring me a broom. Appliance problems: The small refrigerator didn’t function properly. Most of my food spoiled within two days. Checkout misunderstanding: I told Elijah ahead of time that I’d need 1–2 extra hours on the day of checkout due to my schedule and the amount of stuff I had. He agreed, and I left the key in the safety box around 2:00 AM. Despite this, they later complained, which I found unfair—especially considering I left the apartment clean and took all my belongings and trash with me. Parking issue: On the first day, I briefly parked on the grass near the door to bring in heavy items. Elijah asked me not to, and I immediately apologized and moved the car to the driveway. I did my best to be respectful.

Jessica (10/5): - We loved our stay @ Comfort Inn in Grundy. Staff was amazing, room clean, breakfast was wonderful. This location worked out great for us to use as our home base for riding Spearhead Trails. Bellacino's was our go to place for dinner, as there are not a lot of choices, which worked out okay by it being in walking distances and the staff & food there was also wonderful. Would stay here again if in the Grundy area.

Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The view is beautiful regardless of what side you're facing. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. It's in a great location to get to the gas station or restaurants nearby. Truthfully, I feel the price is a little high compared to other hotels I've stayed in that are a little more up to date so to speak. I'm not complaining, just don't understand the high price.

Jennifer (10/5): Relaxing and very comfortable - Was able to do a last minute reservation, the location was perfect and easy to get to. The frant desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. She saw that I was in a lot of pain and gave me a handicap room which made things so much easier for me. The room was cozy and relaxing, which I needed. It smelled amazing and everything was clean and in working order. The breakfast was top notch with several items to choose from. Definitely recommend if stopping in the Lexington area. All the staff was very friendly and helpful

Vickie (8/5): The staff there is really wonderful. - It’s really the only hotel in town. As such it’s centrally located. It looks like they are trying to do some upgrades. The carpeting in the hallway is not the same as the carpeting in the rooms. However, the carpeting in the rooms is horrid! The rooms stink! They smell sour and it was a smell that would not go away, no matter how much we left on the fan with the air conditioner on or sprayed air spray, it was in that carpet and it was not coming out and it was very annoying!
