• Jacqueline (7/5): My dog stayed free in a depressing, grey room - Convenient location, clean room, good value, recently remodeled and comfy bed. The breakfast served lots of proteins. Nice staff - my little dog stays for free. No lamps on the bedside tables, stark, sterile lighting, trash around back in the parking lot. The outside trash cans were not emptied. Very grey and depressing colors….softer lighting would help a lot!

• David (8/5): A place to stay in Nagogdoches - The first room we were given smelled of smoke, then we were assigned a different room with an "upgrade" - a coffee maker! Breakfast was fine for the price we paid for the room. All in all, it was a good motel and a good value - very utilitarian - a place to stay while we explored Nacogdoches. The room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable No pool, but again, what do you expect for 80 bucks, breakfast included.

• Bickham (1/5): - I booked on booking.com and paid for my son to stay while he was without electricity. When my son got there they charged him again and said they had not received payment from booking.com. This was 3 weeks ago and neither company has refunded one of our payments. They double charged and I have not been refunded after I have sent all documents needed multiple times.

• Mandy (3/5): Room was not ok for us, they did refund our money and we had to find somewhere else to stay fast. - The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate the best way possible but were unable. We booked a Non-smoking room for 2 nights and when we arrived the only thing available was Smoking for 2 nights. We said we could try to make it work. Then once we walked into our room we found a live roach in the sink, a dead one on the floor next to the sink and one next to the bed by the door. I did try to keep in mind that we were in a room that was near trees but I am not sleeping knowing that there was a live roach.

• Joseph (6/5): - Upon checking in, the girl at the front desk was fantastic. Very friendly and got us checked in fast with no problems. When we got to the room, one of the first things we noticed was that there was not a single clock in the whole room. Nothing to tell what time it is. I realize this is not a big deal, I just wanted to mention it because I have stayed in A LOT of hotels and this is the first one I’ve ever encountered that didn’t have a clock of some kind. The bed was super comfortable and soft. The thermostat was terrible. It was inaccurate and kicked on and off when it felt like it. So all night long we would wake up either freezing or hot, no in between. Another thing I thought was strange was that there was no bar soap at all. There was a hair dryer, however not in the room, you had to go get it from the front desk. Maybe that’s a thing now, not sure. The toilet paper was like sandpaper and the towels were the same. I felt like I was taking layers of skin off when drying off from the shower.
• Christie (4/5): - Very disappointed. Will not stay here again. Do not recommend. The room was infested with crickets. We put a towel in front of the door to keep them out, but that did not help. It was hard to get a good nights sleep from worrying about crickets jumping on you. They were all over the room and in the bathroom. I spent most of the night trying to get rid of them. We woke up to 10 crickets in the room. Also, the towels were very dingy. Unfortunately I can only add 8 pics but I took more of each cricket as well as a video.

• Karen (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay. - Mostly everything was fine. Breakfast was filling, the room was nice. The location was very good for where we needed to be. The only negative was that the floor seemed to not have been swept well. I didn't notice when I looked at the floor, but after we took off our shoes, my feet picked up dust and small gritty things. The room looked very clean, so otherwise it was fine, just maybe needed a better sweeping and definitely some mopping.

• Roxanne (8/5): - The room was as expected. Clean and comfortable. The property looks a little shady, but the rooms and front desk/dining area was clean and nice as well. The parking space was very limited to the amount of rooms in the front of the hotel. As a woman, traveling alone, it is inconvenient to have to park far away from the assigned room when the establishment is off a busy highway. Luckily, I found a spot in a lit area, but walking in front of men and rooms made me feel a little uneasy. Breakfast was decent, fresh and hot; coffee was great!

The only thing we would have changed was that the continental breakfast would have been more extensive with more choices.

The AC in my room was not working properly on a sweltering night. I attempted to get another room but the person at the front desk said they were all booked at that point. I ended up leaving and getting a room at a different hotel as a result with no refund.

• TERESA (10/5): - I enjoyed the free breakfast, with warm food like eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits. several options of toast and cereals, coffee and tea, and cold choices of orange juice, yogurt, muffins, apples, bananas, pastries or cookies. There were vending machines with snacks and drinks as well as other foods to purchase like ice cream, mini pizzas, etc. I enjoyed the clean room, the hot water with very good water pressure, the soap, shampoo, and lotion that was available. The refrigerator and microwave were handy for snacks. There was a large parking lot with plenty of free parking, a covered area with a picnic table and benches for guest's use, a very large area where sports could be played, and a room with a washer and dryer for guest's use The bed was comfortable with extra pillows. There were multiple usb outlets in the room, a desk and chair where one can eat or work, and an extra chair to relax in. There is free t.v. with 57 channels which includes sports, movies, shows, and news. There is free wifi in the reception and in the rooms.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Sfau orientation. Wrong choice - If you like sleeping in a hotbox, this the place for you. Outdated Window unit. No vent in the bathrooms. So if you need a sauna, this the place. Right by a main rd and yes you hear all the cars and trucks. Beds were clean and comfortable and thats why we rated it a 3.

• Luellen (10/5): Great Customer Service on a Budget - Everything i needed for a short stay. Very clean and nicely updated rooms. I thought there wasn't a coffee option, but later realized that they serve free breakfast and coffee just outside the lobby. The staff was very accommodating and Chris was amazing! Although it is not a prime location, I plan to stay again when I move my son back to college in the fall. Definitely worth every penny and then some! Couldn't connect TV to Netflix, YouTube, etc - to be fair, it may have been an issue that could be resolved. I didn't ask. It would be nice to have a low light lamp in the room instead of only the overhead bright lights.

• Kristen (10/5): Amazing Hotel - We stayed here twice because the first time was so good. The receptionist was always very friendly and professional. The free breakfast is hot food that is always stocked and is from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. There is even a laundry area for extended stay. We were in rooms 114 and 113. There was a bit of a closing problem with the bathroom door in 113. I did like how the bathrooms had pumps for the shampoo and body wash, so you could get plenty. The beds are very soft and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and included a small refrigerator and microwave. The only negative thing about the hotel itself is that it's on one side of Loop 224. The closest turnaround is Douglass, which has a terrible entrance ramp to the loop.

• Timothy (10/5): Great room for a great price! - Before staying here, I read all the reviews. Majority of the reviews was positive and now I see why. The room was simple but the price of the room was worth it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Well lit parking lot. Only negatives are shower water flow was poor and you can hear the traffic from your room but if you’re tired enough it won’t matter. Staff was nice and friendly. Will definitely come back again.
• William (2/5): - The room was advertised as non-smoking room. When I mentioned the clerk that I was at the property last year the same room smelled like smoked and the clerk that nigt moved us. He asured me it was a non-smoking room. When we walked into the room, and turned on the air conditioner the smell got worse as the night went on. There was noone at the front desk to complain to at check out. The smell was worse in the non vented restroom.
