Guest Reviews
- Somville (7/5): -
- Doug (1/5): It was not pleasurable at all - Close to everything Not clean they put us in a room with nasty stains on the floor dirty sink and toilet. Ask for different room it stunk and not very clean. Tape holding dresser drawers closed. Dusty uncomfortable bed. I called down for extra blanket because the blanket on bed was sheet and thin bedspread. He was rude said if need one come get it. Very unprofessional and I won’t be staying or have family staying there
- Janet (3/5): Horrible room! - Room was dirty. Shower had very little water pressure. Floor on second floor was very uneven. Will never stay at any Quality Inn. Carpet was filthy dirty.
- James (10/5): -
- Springstead (5/5): - Location and breakfast We found toenails in the carpet. There was only 1 very uncomfortable chair and no table.
- Shannon (1/5): This place is really bad! - Not one thing! We arrived late and I said this in the booking email we would. Arrived and Noone was there nor did they answer the phone. This place is very shady and scary. Im so happy we didnt stay there. Went on down the road and stayed in Bethany.
- Craig (7/5): Fine for 1 night - Noisy, screeching A/C
- Kreg (10/5): -
- Janet (8/5): -
- Ruth (8/5): -
- gina (10/5): - Friendly front desk employee. Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Pet friendly.
- johneM4612UC (8/5): Quick stay - Had a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. They had a very friendly staff. It was overall a good experience and would recommend.
- 539samuelr (10/5): Thank you thank you thank you! - Thank you Ms. Patel! You've helped us tremendously and we are eternally grateful. This was a perfect stay and we needed it more than you know. God bless
- Dean (7/5): Convenient - Location Bed was terrible
- Judith (8/5): We stayed twice, going to and returning from, our destination and would stay there again. - Front desk staff is terrific. Friendly and welcoming.
Shower is great. Very refreshing after a long day of travel. Breakfast was a disappointment. I realize these “free breakfasts” are never going to be 5 star, but perhaps more fruit and yogurt would help.
- Deb (2/5): Too much for quality - Showed up before breakfast was supposedly closed and no food left or coffee. Room had a bad smell. Hot tub broken. Keys kept not working properly. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- Pauline (6/5): -
- Janes (10/5): -
- Kylee (5/5): - Location Shower did not work
- Amaro (9/5): - Friendly staff and room was very comfortable. The breakfast was a little cold.
- Kimberly (8/5): - Location of room...pet friendly....friendliness of woman working front desk. The breakfast was hot and fresh and delicious The room was a little worn but I believe it was pet specific and the value was great.
- Eckert (8/5): It was ok. - Close to venue we were attending Carpets were stained. Mattress cover had what looked like blood stains on it and it looked unclean. Elevators were dirty.
- Barbara (7/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - Great room, clean and quiet
- Johnson (1/5): Awful experience - Nothing about this location was good. The smell in the main area was awful and in the room itself it smelled of mildew. The smell in the lobby was awful, in the room it smelled strong of mildew. The floors in the middle of the room dipped and squished when walking on it. The mirror in the bathroom was cracked, and the mirror in the main room was completely gone with just the frame for the mirror still present. Could not even think of eating the food here. If it doesn't smell or look clean I'm definitely not eating here.
- Allen (4/5): - small portions but ok
- Sheena (6/5): - This is a fine place to stay when passing through on a road trip. It’s convenient to get on and off the interstate, but the walls aren’t soundproof, so I could hear cars and trucks passing on the interstate all night. The rooms are big, but the decor seemed old. The staff was never around. I almost never saw them. Overall it was a basic hotel. It was a safe and comfortable place to spend the night
- Jocelyn (2/5): - Breakfast was bad. The food had an odd taste. The room had mirrors broken floor was warped. The smell was just mildew. Lights flickered every time you walked in the room. And the pool was dirtyl
- Suzanne (8/5): - I don't want to criticize this hotel too much because if you want to have a much better experience, you will have to travel a very long distance. This is the nicest place to stay in Bethany. It was 30 miles from where our goal was, and it was the closest place. It's clean and the staff is very accommodating. The breakfast could use a little variety. Six days of the exact same thing was a little much, although I will say I'm grateful that they provide protein. We swam in the indoor pool (September) but it was cold. We weren't told the heat in the pool wasn't working. All in all, I am satisfied with the price and the experience.
- Nancy (8/5): - Q
- kevin (10/5): - Prompt check-in. Good sized room.
- Kelly (2/5): - In my younger years, I had stayed in some sketchy places but this was by far the worst! I specifically picked this hotel because I had previously planed to bring my 2 year old son with severe allergies along on our weekend trip this weekend. It was the most expensive option in the area, so I assumed it “must” be the best? Not only was this hotel filthy dirty, it was falling apart. The floors in our room were so uneven, i could not walk to the bathroom without getring off balance. My husband is a career builder and he said if he was ro put a level to the floors, they were off my 3”-4” inches. Had we not arrived at midnight, already absolutely exhausted, We would have never stayed here. AVOID at all cost!
- Michelle (4/5): - Poorly maintained
- H7905LVrays (4/5): below average - Would not stay there again. Older hotel in need of thorough cleaning of hall carpets, better sound dampening between rooms. Rooms are small, beds ok, tub was slick and moderate tilt toward drain that could cause one to slip. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok.
- Andrew (10/5): - Very clean
- Denise (8/5): - Easy access off highway but that’s the only positive. The room was maybe 1 star. Smelled of mold and musty. Carpet disgusting and dirty. We got in very late and all the hotels were sold out within an hour of this place. Slept and got out 6 hours later hoping that we didn’t catch anything and get out where we could breath fresh air.
- Mark (6/5): Stay was comfortable. Hotel itself leaves a bit to be desired. - N/A
Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. Hot tub was out of commission, pool cold. Floor in room was dirty and wonky, felt like we were walking downhill. No full length mirror, mirror in bathroom had a BIG crack, there was a plastic knife in the cushion of the chair apparently left from a previous guest.
- Leslie (6/5): - The room itself was fine. The pictures showed a couch and it didn’t have one, but the room was mostly clean. The front desk staff when we checked in was very indifferent and offered no information about the hotel or any amenities. He did not welcome us or ask us our names, he just stared at us until we started talking. The whole check in was awkward and uncomfortable. It was like we were interrupting something and he was annoyed to be doing his job. The breakfast in the morning was extremely disappointing. We got down there almost an hour before breakfast time was over and there were only empty food containers. No food was left. The yogurt fridge was standing open (yogurt inside). Every table was dirty. The garbage cans were overflowing and some tables had garbage sitting on them, probably because there was no space in the cans. The worst part was that the front desk staff sat on his phone the entire time we were there. He never once stood up to clean the tables or empty the garbage. Even when we asked him if there was another garbage can. He just looked at us and then looked back at his phone. I honestly don’t think I will ever go back. Again, the room itself was fine, but everything else made it not worth the money. There are other options out there.
- Rhonda (1/5): Will never stay again - Not clean.
Run down.
Broken & disrepair
Stained bedspread
- Jon (4/5): All 4 of us did not want to stay our second night so drove home after the fair. - The beds were very uncomfortable.
- ERIN (2/5): - The night worker was very rude and extremely hard to understand. He treated my husband respectfully, but not me. The hallways smelled like urine and the elevator wreaked of pot. The carpet in the room was disgusting and the whole building needs to be remodeled. We will not be returning here!
- Thomas (9/5): We'd stay again. Value for the money. - Scrambled eggs were a little iffy. All the other items were fine! Did lose the overhead light in the bathroom .
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Nice hotel and staff. Good places for dinner nearby.
- Samantha (10/5): - Clean quiet room for the night. Hot breakfast.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Rosalind (6/5): - The property was clean however the room had a foul smell of mold and mildew.
- mcglothlin (1/5): - Absolutely nothing. The clerk was rude and creeped us out. All I can say is don't go there of you have a hot date . Just saying . They called our room and knocked repeatedly until we answered . Whe. We finally did the rude clerk literally told my girl she needed to go to bed .
- Kendall (8/5): - Not bad, just not great. Room was clean but bathroom needed some attention.
- Vicki (9/5): - One of our rooms was good the other room not so much One of the rooms was not very nice. The lighting was bad the mirror was cracked and the full body mirror was complety gone
- STACY (8/5): -
- Mia (10/5): - Clean, pool, great breakfast, great location
- Kemaley (10/5): Very nice one night stay! - I stayed at the Quality Inn for one night after a family 4th of July party in nearby Princeton, MO.
It's a small, no-frills hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and the mattress was very comfortable. I slept quite well!
The bathroom was standard size, and they offer shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
I was very happy with the breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage links, and they also had the ever popular do-it-yourself waffle station. They also had dry cereals, yogurt, and a selection of pastries.
If I can think of any criticism at all, and it's minor, the AC in my room didn't seem to like being set lower than 70 degrees. At 70 degrees it was fine. Any lower and it hummed a bit.
- Charles (6/5): - The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the air conditioner barely blew air. We stayed one night and were checked in quickly.
- Royal (6/5): - Helpful staff, but the fridge in the room didn't work and the hot tub was out of commission.
- Ashley (2/5): - Room was buggy. Second room had bug in the towels.
- Joe (4/5): - Bathroom lights didn't operate and toilet was leaking on the floor.
- Denise (2/5): - If I wasn’t so exhausted, I would have packed up and gone to another hotel. I am disgusted by the bedding and the stains on the carpeting.
- Kari (8/5): - The room was clean for the most part, there was just a spot on the curtain that was sketchy. Kind of looked a bit like blood so that is concerning. Everything else was clean. The bathroom was on the small side and it you had to step to the small side of the the toilet to even open the door to get out. Maybe instead have a door that opens out into the room since there isn't a lot of space there. Everything else was great.
- Janet (10/5): - I liked the nice smell when coming into the lobby. The staff were nice. The check in was easy. The room was very clean and nice. The pool was heated! The breakfast was good! We really enjoyed our stay!
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Daneille (6/5): - Smelled like smoke the entire time we were there. We even switched rooms and there were still people smoking near our room to the point that it filtered into ours.
- Debra (4/5): - The hot tub was out of service and the pool had an oily film. Very disappointing!
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Location and price Shower/tub faucet leaks
- Marit (7/5): Good - Location Mo handicap rooms with two queen beds. Beds too hard. Towels stiff
- Stacey (6/5): - We stayed at this property a year ago at this time and it seems to have taken a step back in the overall condition. It seemed much more "worn out" and not nearly as well kept up. The location for us is very convenient, but may have to think twice about staying here again in the future.
- Mike (7/5): Good - Good clean place showing signs of aging. Locations nice cause it right off the freeway. Minimal staffing and breakfast area. I would stay here again. Fan in the bathroom was not functioning. The desk chair wouldn't stay up and was uncomfortable.
- Sue (6/5): Pleasant -
- Travelqueen68 (8/5): Very good - Room was clean. Quiet. Beds were comfortable. The so called exceptional breakfast was OK. Everywhere we stay, the breakfasts are all the same boring items. It would be nice to have more options besides watery fake eggs and dried out sausage patties.
- Shelley (6/5): - Shower faucet didn’t work right. One shower was pretty good. Second shower was luke warm. Bathroom sink faucet had a poor repair to handle. Drywall repair by tub was a tacky repair. Drawer on dresser would not stay closed. Hung open halfway. Asked for a receipt at checkout and was told printer didn’t work. Asked for an emailed receipt and never received one. Overall not very impressed.
- Kourtnee (9/5): Good, Clean Rooms. - Very clean, good size room. Very clean bathroom. Asked for extra towels with no problem. Very close to the appointment we needed to be at early the next morning. It was mostly good besides someone being really loud in the room beside or under us around 9 at night. The beds are a little hard.
- Phyllis (6/5): - When the heater kicked on it sounded like a small plane about to land. The staff was very nice.
- Sue (8/5): Good night - Must be updating some weird construction things
- jessie (10/5): - Service with a smile!! Very nice staff and very accommodating and helpful
- Judith (10/5): - Staff very nice. Inside clean. Outside could be nicer. Bathroom ceiling paint looked like there had been a leak and not fixed
- Rande (10/5): - The toilet rocked. The bathroom was small.
- Nathan (9/5): Good! - My spouse packed up the room when we left and mistakenly left my expensive electric toothbrush. I didn't realize it until that evening when we were already in another state. I called the hotel and they were able to locate my toothbrush and had it waiting for me in the lobby when we came back through the next evening! I am very thankful! Could have had more at breakfast, but they at least had yogurt so it was adequate for me.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent stay - Clean, friendly, easy to get to off the highway Pool was closed
- Loren (9/5): Superb -
- Janice (5/5): Passable - bathrooms needs corners cleaned
- Leslie (9/5): Traveling with a pet can be a challenge, but this site treats us well! - Good hot breakfast! Shower was a little tricky for getting warm enough water.
- Lacy (8/5): - We got in super late and left super early. The bed was warm and comfortable during a snowy short night.
- Crosby (4/5): Disappointing - Located was good. Breakfast was so so. Room needed to be cleaned better. Food left in the refrigerator from previous guests. Blood on the wall in the bathroom.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Just fine - Easy location, suitable breakfast, spacious room.
- Chase (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (8/5): - Easy to access.
- William (4/5): Meh - Bed uncomfortable, road noise. Room excessively hot when we got there.
- Michael (10/5): Good Quality - The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The hotel was an older one but remodeled well. The hotel had a good breakfast bar with plenty of selection.
- William (8/5): Good value for the money. - The rooms were clean and very spacious. Staff were friendly. Finding the access road to get to the hotel was a bit tricky after dark.
- Lisa (8/5): - Bathroom had a bit of mold.
- James (4/5): - Tried to go through Expedia to change my reservation stay date but they couldn’t get the hotel property to answer or acknowledge then. So I hand to miss my stay due to an emergency. Poor service when you can’t even answer the phone
- Jereamy (9/5): Superb -
- Dale (9/5): Great location, quiet building, friendly staff and great breakfast. - Easy access from the freeway. Quiet building. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Pet friendly but wasn't noted there may be fees. Fee not a big deal but should be noted when booking. Also when traveling with pet you can't reserve certain rooms, good info to know.
- Petersen (9/5): Positive experience -
- Mark (10/5): - Well maintained and friendly staff
- Dennis (1/5): Stinky room - The room had a terrible musty smell and it stank. We had to sleep with the window open and the heater on because it stunk so bad.
- Laurie (5/5): Passable - Free breakfast Bedding was stained Toilet continuously ran and after saying something to staff they said it would be fixed, but it wasn't. Hot tub was out of order.
- Stacy (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (3/5): This was an odd one. I felt like families were living there!? Very very overpriced….you purchase on Booking on the road - The property is close the highway I was traveling Ugh. First of all, I was on the road so I took what I could get. With a nightly rate of $229 in Cameron, Missouri!?!? I expected a warm welcoming hotel with a nice a comfortable stay. None of the above. It was dirty from the jump. Elevator was gross, you know that’s not a good sign. Everything was dated and just felt uneasy with the cleanliness. The staff was accommodating but not friendly. Never smiled or engaged with me unless I asked a direct question. Just felt off.
- Michelle (6/5): - The bathroom shower was gross. Obviously not cleaned properly
