Guest Reviews
- Te-Yao (10/5): - Great service. Room is clean.
- Ron (10/5): - Nice balcony to relax
- Ray (10/5): - Great location! A five minute walk to the canyon rim.
- kristin (8/5): - Perfect location, had a visit from some deer in the morning. Parking was easy and every thing felt very safe
- Edward (10/5): - Beautiful hotel in the Grand Canyon national park. The hotel is basic, but has everything you need.
- Anakarina (10/5): - All was very nice will come stay here again .
We stayed by rim our first night and stayed in your property we really liked it
- Beatrice (8/5): - The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the structure was a bit old.
We didn’t like how the restaurant bit was organized, looked a little sad.
- Philip (10/5): - Very picture and well worth the trip
- Violetta (10/5): - Clean rooms, parking for free
- Andrew (10/5): - Not a luxury experience, but well beyond adequate. Everything was perfect and from the Mesquite building it was a very short walk to the lodge, pizza pub, and to the rim. Such a great adventure. Thank you Maswick
- Barbara (10/5): - Staying at the lodge in the park was so nice and convenient.
Bed and pillows were excellent, The room was very clean, customer service was GREAT. Lots of amenities and convenience. If I go back I would definitely stay there again.
- Jerry (10/5): - It was great. Addition of light on the building name would be helpful.
- Ashish (10/5): - Maswik Lodge is wonderfully situated, right next to the canyon! Big rooms, lots of parking, excellent staff. Food options are somewhat limited, as to be expected.
- JON (10/5): - Close to the rim!
- Mark (10/5): - Easy walk to Grand canyon viewing areas and shuttles. Informative staff to help plan our itinerary. Room was clean and had everything we needed.
- Alexis (10/5): - Our room was clean and exactly what we needed for 5 of us to stay overnight. (2 queens and a roll away bed was provided as requested). When we woke up in the morning there was a family of deer outside our front door! (Straight across the small parking lot) The coffee kinda sucked But there is a food court where you check in and the food and coffee there was really good. The soap provided in our room was so nice we had to buy our own to being home from the gift shop.
The area is so easy to walk around. You can easily walk to the grand canyon from your room. When we came back from our walk to the canyon our room was being cleaned. We had forgotten to put the sign on our door and we had already moved all of our things out so it looked like we were done with the room before we had actually checked out. But the woman on the cleaning staff was so so kind to us and i was able to go in the room and let our baby take a nap while she tended to the other rooms.
The weather was perfect for walking around the rim and just enjoying the sights. The gift shop was nice too and has a variety of items so you're sure to find something you like.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
- anna (10/5): - Very good value and nice location
- Patricia (8/5): - Old room, but it was pretty clean. Food in lodge fair, free parking, great shuttle service around Grand Canyon. Shuttle service is somewhat confusing.
- Steven (10/5): - Stunningly beautiful at the Grand Canyon south rim. Mad wok is a short walk to mind-blowing vistas and scenery. So much history to view, read about, learn and appreciate. From native inhabitants to the explorers who documented all they learned in word and photograph. Come here with an open mind and heart and allow God Himself to heal you from the inside out.
- Nancy (8/5): - This lodge was nothing extravagant but was perfectly nice, clean, with comfortable beds, and a food court in the main building. I thought the price was excellent for "in the park". Our only complaint is that it was not really convenient to walk to the canyon rim which was supposedly only 1/4 mile away. Signage was very poor, no obvious path to get there. We drive to a closer lodge and parked to view.
- Dipak (6/5): - Our fan lights were working. We called and no one ever came to fix it even though it was promised. No garbage bags were provided
- Jong Oh (2/5): - Great location. But no hot water!!
Be careful.
- Reba (10/5): - Everything was great. I called a week before I came to see if they had military prices and the person that answered said she would ask her manager she came back and quoted me a price double from the internet, I told her and she was very rude and said you should take this price because it was getting full for the time I wanted. I asked her name and she said Jolene but I think she was lying. Anyways, everything was good except the customer service on the phone.
- Teresa (10/5): - Quiet stay ! Ate breakfast on porch !!
Had dinner at food court—good food reasonably priced !
- Andrea (10/5): - Best
- Wei (8/5): - Great experience
- Robert (8/5): - Really awesome place to stay, everything convenient. Once at canyon, so amazing. What a beauty of nature. Catch sunset and get up early for sunrise. Starting early when its nice and cool, you'll probably see a friendly ram that likes to roam around and pose. That was during sunrise, saw him numerous times.
- Keith (10/5): - This hotel exceeded our expectations- newer and completely updated - clean - lots of amenities and walking distance to everything we needed
- Firdaws (10/5): - The rooms were very spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. It was a nice surprise to see a family of deer just roaming the property. It was also very convenient to get to the tours from there.
- PADPIRA (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Bradley (10/5): - Cant go wrong staying in grand canyon national park
- Tim (10/5): - Great facility for a National Park.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Room fine but request second floor - food is sub standard and expensive
- Michael (8/5): - Key cards kept failing - had to replace twice. Had trouble finding the check in area at first - better signing ?
Otherwise a great place to stay.
- Linda (8/5): - It was comfortable . Decor was rustic and plain. I felt it expensive for what it was.
- Keith (10/5): - Convenient location to Grand Canyon and GC village. Room was clean, updated, and fully equipped
- Renee (10/5): - Beautiful lodge. Great gift shop. Clean rooms. Friendly staff!!!
- Sara (10/5): - This hotel is right next to the canyon, great location, easy parking and the room was simple and clean. Great stay!
- Bhaskar (10/5): - The food options were good and it was delicious. The store inside the lodge had very good options and the price was reasonable for what we bought. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are exceptional.
- Bryan (8/5): - Nice area but roads are confusing
- Jerica (10/5): - I loved how close to everything this was. The rooms were spacious and the decks were nice to sit on in the evenings. Beds were comfortable as well!
- George (10/5): - C
- Massimiliano (10/5): - Clean and new room in Trilobite.
- Robert (10/5): - Convenient, in-park, quiet.
- Stephen (8/5): Convenient - Overll great stay. TV reception poor and no place to put clothing, eg chest of drawers
- Kenneth (10/5): Perfect affordable stay at GCV - Although this was the least expensive property in GCV, it was perfect for my overnight stay. It’s much less crowded than the main village area yet easy walking distance to the Rim and also the dining court. Free EV charging at the other lodges available via a short walk. Perfect location.
- John (10/5): - What I thought was amazing was getting to see the wild life right outside the cabin all the staff was very nice only thing I didn't have a microwave in my room I didn't ask if it came with one or if I can get one because I wasn't staying but two days but every thing else was great
- Steven R (10/5): - Nice room with a large accommodating bathroom area. I was under the impression that all units came with a patio or balcony but that was not the case. Had I known that I would have made a request for a room with that feature.
- Leah (10/5): - I thought that Losge was great. It was so close to the rim we could walk everywhere.
- Amy (10/5): - Great hotel. Rooms are clean. Easy walk to other destinations in the village. Beautiful location. Very peaceful.
- Debbie (4/5): - Front desk clerk inexperienced about property
- Taras (8/5): - Pretty good room and great location.
It would help if they add microwave.
- Sandra (10/5): - .
- Marian (10/5): - Clean and big room, beautiful view!
- Dave (8/5): Excellent location in GC Park - Fantastic location in the park. Our room was perfect. Clean and spacious. It is a very close walk to the GC as well as the red and blue (free) bus stops for the Village (blue) and GC (red). Food choices however are horrible. Food court at Maswik is food service cafeteria quality with high prices. Very disappointed. Find somewhere else that may be a little better.
- Tarig (8/5): - Great location within the village. Clean spacious room.
- elisenda (8/5): - perfect stay, clean and comfortable room.
- priscilla (10/5): - Loved being out of the crowd right at the rim. But so close.
- James (10/5): Would 100% recommend - Great stay located within the park. Very comfortable and excellent value for money.
- richard (10/5): room - clean but as many have mentioned , dated. all are out buildings so could use more security lights
- Chia (10/5): - Nice places 👌
- Richard (10/5): - National Parks are awesome!
- Sandra (10/5): - We loved the location and beauty around the hotel! Staff super friendly too. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!
- kyu yeam (10/5): - beautiful location.
- Min (10/5): - Wonderful staying
- Kristi (8/5): - Room was pretty decent. Lost electricity for a few hrs in the lodge and dining area through no fault of their own. Dining lodge was kind of pricey and food was ok. Few food options because of power outage but power eventually was restored.
- Denise (8/5): - Great location in the park. Parking on site and walkable to canyon and amenities!
- Mary (10/5): - It is right in the park. The setting is very quiet and there is a little balcony/deck that is so nice to sit on and enjoy the quiet. Staff was super nice. Definitely recommend!!!
- Jon and Amy (10/5): - Great lodge, some parts are a little outdated and everything closes early. Food in food court we good. Pizza and staff in pizza place was great.
We had 18 people between 8 rooms. Ac units seem to just shut off in all rooms at night from time to time.
We saw tons of wildlife and the view of the canyon is amazing and just a 5 min walk
- Chris (10/5): - Visiting the Grand Canyon after Labor Day is a real treat. The crowds are about 30% of what they normally might be.
- Jackie (10/5): Nice room - The room was clean, large, and handy to food court.
- Teresa (10/5): - Great stay great lication
- Thomas (10/5): - Clean convenient

- Wendy (10/5): - Nice room, beautiful property, lots of amenities, very close to south rim
- Alison (10/5): - Perfect for what we needed
- Samantha (10/5): - The staff are extremely kind and helpful!

- April (10/5): - Great place
- Sharon (10/5): - Great location for exploring the rim. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room with tea/coffee
- Francesca (8/5): - Property is clean and cabin style; beds very confortable. Excellent cost value. The only con is a lack of dining options but there are plenty options around.
- Darrick (10/5): Awesome trip to the Grand Canyon - The hotel was awesome and it was right next to the canyon. About 400 meters
- Joyce (10/5): - Lovely stay in a magnificent location
- Sandra (8/5): Quiet In the pines - We had a hard time finding our complex. There are many buildings with 4 comfy rooms each. Good bed, nice linen , sweet patio with chairs. Elk walking 30 feet from your door. Main building was welcoming.
All exceptionally clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs improvement for kitchenette stays - We had a week long stay for work and require a kitchenette to make meals, recoupe, etc. Small little things go a long way. I can go on with a list of things, but someone that doesnt travel or use a hotel with kitchenette seems to be in charge of design, supply and amenities. Not very functional.
- N (10/5): - The room was only let down by the very noisy aircon (which we had to keep off because it was so noisy) and the very noisy aircon of the room next door (which they kept on all the time). Other than that we thought it was all great.
- Anke (10/5): - Alles war wunderbar
- Fabian (6/5): - It is a good place to stay a few days, traffic is not the best area but it is ok.
- Denise (8/5): - Room was comfortable and grounds were nice. Liked having the food court available.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice staff, clean, plenty of parking and location was great 200 yards from the grand canyon. What more could you ask for. I will be returning and do plain to stay here again.
- larry (10/5): - Nice rooms good customer service
- Erin (8/5): - Clean rooms. Bit of a walk to the rim. Would’ve preferred to be closer
- Rebecca (10/5): - Air conditioner in room was so noisy I couldn’t sleep
