• Neil Omonigho (1/5): Awful customer service and horrible breakfast. - I didn't like the breakfast and the staff at the reception desk especially on the 17th May, 2026 was horrible. The breakfast was awful, it's didn't go well at all. It's one of the most horrible breakfast I have had over the years. The options were few and there was not taste. Additionally my experience with the staff at the reception desk for 17th was horrible. We asked the room to be clean but re refused, asking us to clear all our clothes and tidy in our bag before any cleaning will be done. For 3 nights the room was never cleaned and the bed sheets were not changed. We extended our stay asking for the room to be cleaned and I had a chat with the guy at the reception who refused us a new room despite we have paid on booking.com, saying we need to get all our things, then they can clean the room but there was no additional room available for us to move laterally. Hence we must stay in the same room u cleaned for our new booking. It was a horrible experience honestly.

• Maybellene (9/5): - This hotel is ideal for families. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was decent, and the lobby smelled really nice too. I would still come back here, but I hope they pay more attention to the pool area next time, as it was quite dirty during our stay. If swimming isn’t a priority for you, then overall this is still a great place to stay because it’s comfortable, clean, and family-friendly. I like that the hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, but unfortunately the pool area didn’t seem very clean. The pool water looked like it hadn’t been changed or properly maintained for quite some time. The hot tub also wasn’t working, and the water temperature was only lukewarm instead of hot.

• Teammilitello (4/5): I wanted to like it - Really surprised by the reviews. The carpet on the main floor & elevator was so dirty. We arrived very late & were upset that there was no soap in the sink. We went to take a shower—no shampoo. We sat down to write things down at the desk—one light off. When we went to check out the following morning, they had no coffee. The machine was in the restaurant—but the doors were locked. We went to complain about everything to the clerk, but no one showed up at the desk for over thirty minutes. Also, there was a loud fan outside my room that was annoying.

The sidewalks were not shoveled! It was rather difficult to roll a suitcase. Furthermore, if someone should fall there could be legal matters to deal with. The tables in the breakfast area should be wiped down after each use. They were not.

Good coffee selection as well as other beverages. Food included variety, including fruit. No Wifi on the third floor where we stayed. Had to go to the lobby for messaging (whatsapp) as we were not from the US. Very inconvenient. This was ongoing even after contacting front desk on a few occasions. TV was not hooked up upon our arrival. Had to request front desk to come and connect it. Empty liquor container and dirty socks under the bathroom vanity upon our arrival.

• Richard (8/5): It was great with just a few little huppucs, but would stay there again and again - It was good but need alittle more variety, During breakfast hours ,after the person who set up and then had to leave at 7 during the week days , there was no one to take care to breakfast or restock the food , they had to use house keeping and maintain personal to help , that meant that visitors like us couldn't have breakfast, the hotel needs to hire more for the breakfast hours

Even had a small slide which they went down too many times to count. The breakfast was very good. The lady taking care of this area was exceptional. She was constantly cleaning and making sure everything was well stocked. I was very impressed with her and she definitely deserves recognition for a job very well done. We reserved 2 rooms. One of the rooms (double bed room) was VERY dirty. Comforter had stains on it and we found someone’s hair. The table had something red dried and dripping down the leg (could have been pizza sauce???). There was a red tinged stain on the floor the size of at least a softball (not near the table stain). The sofa in the room had a huge stain of something unidentifiable. The doorframe of the bathroom had a red streak (this looked more blood tinged). We asked for a different room which we were given. The new room was definitely better but not great. When we were checking out of our room (single bed), I looked under the bed to make sure we wouldn’t forget something and there was a plastic water bottle, a Mountain Dew bottle and a large paper coffee cup. None of these items were ours. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms.

Not worth the $122 per night. Would not stay again.

The 2nd room was not a suite and had only 2 beds (we are a 3 man maintenance crew). We were then told there were no suites available even after showing the clerk availability listed on their site. Canceled our reservation and went elsewhere.

• Chanda (6/5): - We’ve stayed in this hotel before and had good stays. Unfortunately, this stay was unsatisfactory. The pull out couch was disgustingly stained. The night manager on duty was kind enough to move my husband to another room (our kids were already asleep & didn’t want to move). There might have been a miscommunication with the day staff. They had my husband's room cleaned and took all his belongings (unfortunately, some stuff were missing) without letting us know. They gave him a new room, again. The elevator carpet & walls were unkempt. It seems like it was a busy couple of weeks for Grand Forks that included construction, which may play a part in all of this. I hope the management team will routinely check for run-down furniture & beddings, etc. Customers should not be checking if their mattress & room are clean. In good faith, you guys do your due diligence .

• Dod (10/5): Vacation stay - Room was big and comfortable. Grandkids loved the pool. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Location was fantastic for the event we attended.

• Liselle (6/5): - Pool area was horrible. No ventilation and way too much chlorine. Everyone from our group felt sick during and after visiting the pool.
• Mary H Korczak (10/5): - I walked from the hotel through a nice quiet neighborhood. I notice a park for kids less than a mile away. Easy drive to shopping and the airport.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Breakfast could use some help - Very clean and nicely updated. The pool was ok, it would have been nice if the water was a bit warmer but it wasn't horrible. Breakfast was awful though. The waffle batter was like water. The eggs and sausage were cold.
• Andrew (6/5): - Outdated property that shows wear and tear on the inside. Cleanliness is an issue and TVs didn't work. For the price paid it was not worth it. Very surprised this property gets a high review rating.

• Nichol (6/5): - Tv didn’t work when confronted front desk staff they said yes another lady in another room on our floor was having same issue we replaced her box and still didn’t work so they were unsure…..they didn’t give us any answers or suggestions just left it like that. Bathroom sink tap was very loose and had to be very carefully when turning it on and off, bathroom vent was left hanging down full of dust we had to push it back up multiple times. Wi-Fi is terrible on the forth floor and no answers to why that is.
• Chloe (10/5): It was just one night , the breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. Shower was good soaps are nice ! - The proximity to all the stores and restaurants easy to get too off the main road Pillows

• Calvin (8/5): - Breakfast had a great variety. Bed was very comfortable - a bit tricky with temperature controls, but was definitely nice air conditioning! Very quiet and lots of easy parking which was appreciated!

• Vesta (8/5): - Great front office staff… A group of workers staying there set up a grill and chairs on grass in front of motel. They were loud and a little scary when I took my fig out to potty
• Bernadette (6/5): - Room was not totally clean garbage still under both beds. Dog next door kept barking because owners left it alone, not fair to other quests
• Allen (6/5): A return to days past? - The customer service was nice. However there were a couple of issues. First, and most disturbing was that the trash outside of the exit doors was NEVER emptied in 3 days of us staying there. It continued to pile up and seriously overflow. Then inside the room the toilet itself, not just the lid, was loose and would shift around on the floor. And the sink faucet was as well. We were disappointed as LaQuinta has made improvements over the past several years. This is why we stayed there this visit. But, sadly, this one did not live up to the standards.
• Sarah (10/5): Great place to stay. - Breakfast was good. Big variety of items. Room was clean. Fridge was cleaned out but kinda stinky from another guest.
• Leah (8/5): - Everything was great besides checking in. Was advised our room was not ready at check in time. Got others checked in and sent to rooms and we had to wait over an hour to get in our room as they were still cleaning it.
• Kahrin (6/5): - Room was average.... clean. But the window didn't shut all of the way. Staff (which, by the way, there was one person on shift to do everything in the hotel) did check it out when asked but it was never fixed. No follow up, no option to change rooms because the hotel was apparently booked for that kind of room.... nothing offered to help offset this problem (hint-hint, discount) was very dissatisfied with how this problem was not taken care of. Will not stay another night at a La Quinta Inn because cause of this.

• Conley (9/5): Good time with our Dogs and seeing family in Grand Forks - Easy access and very Dog friendly. Pups enjoyed sniffing around the grass. Also, the Half Bros. Brewing company downtown is very dog-friendly
• Shelly (6/5): Angry at booking.com for not getting what requested in hotel room for walk in shower. - Nice staff Renovations and requested a walk in shower and didn’t get one as hotel stated booking.com didn’t request!!!!
• Darien (10/5): - From the time we walked in the door we were greeted by very friendly staff, Sara. And through out our stay we were very happy with friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms.
