Especially during the airshow. I get it ... hotels like to double room prices during the airshow and then skimp on the number of workers. I get it.

- Seth (8/5): - Very nice property. Large rooms that sleep 6 guests, which were great. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety. Beds are firm, but we slept surprisingly comfortably on them. Only negative is that they issue you an off putting warning letter about guest conduct upon checking, and then they have multiple warning signs around the facility stating “Don’t do XYZ”. They’re all written in a scolding manner and do not have a hospitality tone to them. Very bizarre.

Convenient parking locations were available on three sides of the hotel allowing for convenient access!! Upon arriving to the room, I found it arranged well with a small food/coffee prep area separated from the room

- mountaincivic (6/5): Ok not great. - Ok for a stay. The room was a typically room. The TV was not working and had a couple of problems. One it was not plugged in to an outlet. Once I plugged it in to an outlet the TV signaled it didn’t have an input. I spent a half hour trying to troubleshoot the remote with the various inputs. When I went to the desk they told me it was a common problem with the system and how to fix it. I wasn’t the only one who had problems with the TV as I saw other guests at the desk asking about it during my stay. There were no instructions in the room for the special steps needed to work it nor given on check in. It would save time and guest frustration if they did either. Breakfast had the usual fare you would expect at the Holiday Inn Express but I was there on a weekday and while technically they had everything they had small amounts and the stuff looked and tasted like it had been there a few days. After a few bites I ended up throwing my breakfast away and got breakfast elsewhere. I usually like staying at Holiday Inn Express and I am a member but not sure I would stay again.

- Trevor (2/5): - We had to switch rooms twice in the first night. The first room had a terrible musty smell since there was no ventalation. The second had dead insects on the bed and the window was full of even more dead insects and live mosquitos in the curtains. The third room that we ended up stuck in, had a wet rug from the hvac dripping down the wall and what looked like black mold due to the moisture and lack of air flow. We spoke with the hotel owner, Mr. Sony, the 2nd day and he first offered/showed us a 4th room that was clean and told us to figure out the refund with expedia for the remaining nights since we were not comfortable staying there. Then once we confirmed with Expedia, he took back the offer telling us he had booked the room already (it had been 20 minutes, if that) and since we were dealing with Expedia now he couldnt help us anymore and he had tried everything to make us happy already. Overall, the hotel was dirty and potentially hazardous to our health, and the owner lied straight to our faces. Terrible experience.

When no one showed up, i went outside and waited in my car for about 15 minutes. When i went back in, there was still no one there. I decided to call the hotel from inside the lobby, and as i dialed, someone came to check me in. I liked the clean, new rooms, and the hot beeakfast. I enjoyed one evening hanging out in the pool. I will give them another try!

- rockieboy (10/5): 5 Stars For Sure - New, clean, comfortable and great staff! The breakfast was very nice. Lots of choices and the staff kept it refilled. Very nice gathering spaces in lobby. Many dining choices near by. Great Italian restaurant right next door. We had questions about the room temperature and they scheduled a time to come adjust it and did so! They even asked me the next morning if everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. Courteous and friendly staff all around.

I made my booking on line, received all confirmation information etc.. fortunately, and, only because of past bad experiences nation wide, I printed all information and brought it with me. when attempting to check in, no reservation was found, and confirmation did not exist. If I hadn't brought all paper work, no room would have been available and my daughter, grand-daughter and I would have been room searching!

We received almost daily housekeeping. Breakfast was good. The breakfast area does need a new toaster. It was the slowest toaster I have ever seen.
