• JAMIE (10/5): Angels Lansinf - We booked Zion Lodge as we were hiking Angels Landing the next day. It’s a perfect location for that, as it’s only one stop away on the shuttle. We arrived to the park late at night and there was no parking in the spots. The overflow is right at the end, by the main office so park there and move your car in the morning, once everyone else has shifted.
• Don (8/5): - The meals at the lodge are ok, but there is really fantastice food outside of the park. 20 min drive time. This is all about location. The lodge is in Zions with fantastic views right out your front door.This park is one of God's masterpiece !
• Verified traveler (6/5): Great location, dated amenities - Can't beat the location. Very easy to jump on a trail and go see the park. The lodge is dated and the hot water wasn't working at first and our tub was clogged. They sent someone out right away and they did get hot water going, but the tub never did drain quite right. Smells a bit musky when you get in, like there is lingering moisture issues. You are definitely paying the premium price for the location and not the quality of the lodging. But, everyone was super helpful and nice and it was clean, just dated.

The restaurant prices & quality were good but coffee a little over priced at $4. No elevator was a little difficult with our larger bags since we were traveling to several destinations.
• Ashley (8/5): Adjoined rooms can be very loud. - The room was nice but not relaxing. We had an adjoined cabin and the people next door, who seemed to be talking in a regular voice, sounded like they were right beside us. I could make out every word. It was around midnight when they got in so we didn’t have a restful night at all. It’s luck of the draw here I suppose but something I believe people should be aware of.

• Beverly (10/5): - For a National Park Lodge this lived up to every thing we dreamed of. It had exactly what we needed, a place to sleep, to shower and food! Perfectly located within the park. I will say if you arrive after sunset understand its going to be pitch black which makes for great star gazing but hard for driving. Also if you are reserving from and here and arriving late call them so you can get the correct access code.

• meghan anita (4/5): - The staff was terrible, they hung up on us at the entry gate. The cleaning service only made one bed, didnt clean the bathroom or replace towels. They left our room unlocked and open. There is no leadership just a bunch of 20 year olds running the lodge.

That being said the bed was noisy and air conditioner was broken... and there was a dirty washcloth in our bathroom on arrival. We only stayed one night if the convenience of the location is not important... stay in Springdale!

• Andrew (4/5): - What an absolute dump. I don’t think I’ve ever given a property such a poor review, but everything is lacking. The rooms are not clean. The common areas smell horrible. Tons of deferred maintenance all over the property and horrible smells. Whoever manage this property into the ground should be fired because it is such a gorgeous location with such an absolutely awful hotel.

• Dayami (10/5): - OMG !!! This was amazing, the sunset between the cannon is spectacular. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the park. The cabin was spacious and convenient. I would definitely coming back. The breakfast was really good and with those views!!!!

The Good- The chairs were comfy, eveything worked and it had a nice deck with Rocking chairs that were nice. Location is great being in the park.
• Kathy (8/5): Typical National park facility and food - Zion is a beautiful place, the lodge is like a lot of national park facilities. A little run down, dark, outdated and overpriced hospital cafeteria food. Being inside the park is great but I wouldn’t stay here again. The lack of food choices and the fact that town and amenities isn’t in walking distance would be the deciding factors. The quiet and beauty is spectacular.

Breakfast scrambled eggs seemed like powdered eggs, breads tasted old and stale. What a shame for such a lovely comfortable lodge.

The code you gave us was wrong and we had a huge back up behind us and lots of angry drivers as we had to call the front desk to get the correct code. Please correct your emails with the correct code # 31235 ! We mentioned this to the front desk people but they said you knew and don't do anything about it. this is absolutely unacceptable. Please correct your check in instructions.
• Jean (10/5): - This is the place to stay for Zion National Park touring. Bus to all the sights, hiking trails, and even connecting bus into town if you want a change of pace meal. But hotel has a dining room, casual food eatery (food must be eaten outdoors in nice eating area), and an outdoor beer vendor with a few snacks. Rooms have patio/balcony with unbeatable views. Alpine horn players on lawn in afternoon.

• Stephen (8/5): - We stayed in one of the cabin-like units with two full beds and a gas fireplace. There were 2 units in one building, and being in the heart of Zion is phenomenal. There is no wifi or TV in the cabins, which is fine, and we enjoyed the quiet, except that when either unit runs the hot water there is a loud high pitched screeching noise, and there was a building just above the hill from us that had a generator going for a while. We also could hear voices from the adjoining unit for a short period, as well as their door opening and closing. Unfortunately these noises intruded upon the otherwise extraordinary stillness and silence. We had Christmas pre fixe dinner in the grill upstairs in the lodge. Although we admire the local natural sourcing for most of their produce, meats, etc., the meal was almost entirely flavorless - extremely bland string beans and mashed potatoes, for example. But our server, Nate, was superb, and took very good care of us.
• Glenn (10/5): Premier Location Inside Zion - I'm a regular visitor of Zion National Park. But, I rarely treat myself to the finer accommodations in the area. This is because I spend most of my time hiking or backpacking. However, this Christmas I opted to stay at the Zion Lodge for two reasons. One, the Red Rock Grill was open for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (with advanced reservations, highly recommended), and, two, . And Two, what better way to spend Christmas if traveling solo? I stayed in a King room at the Sentinel building, which was very close to the Lodge (and restaurants) If one is staying in any of the cabins or in the Watchman building, note that you do have a couple minutes walk to the lodge and a little further to the shuttle access, which is on the north side of the propety. No luggage carts, but loading zones are available and fairly close. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful in and of themselves, but, of course, the attraction are the valley walls that surround it. The Mission-style furnishings are gorgeous and perfectly coordinated. Plenty of lighting options (even the bathroom has regular and "night" lighting). Microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker in-room. TV is very basic, but really, it's not an issue. Finally, all the staff I met were very helpful and friendly. They made my stay even more special.

• Amanda (2/5): - We checked in on a Wednesday. First thing I noticed was the door to our room wasn’t locked. Quickly threw our stuff down and headed out to hike. Came back once it got dark and realized our room had never been cleaned. The trash from previous guests was still in our trash cans, gobs of hair all over the shower and tub, glasses still sitting out on the bathroom sink. So I tried to be reasonable and I called the front desk and asked if our room could be cleaned the next day since it was bedtime by now. They told me yes. So the next day I head out to hike and I come back around 11AM and my room still hasn’t been cleaned. I called again and asked for it to be done and they assured me they were sending someone up right away. We go to dinner that afternoon and come home and AGAIN it had not been cleaned!!!! Management was completely dismissive towards me and only offered me complementary breakfast from their restaurant. Wow, what a gift considering I just paid almost $300/night for a dirty hotel room that I gave them THREE chances to make right!! The ONLY perk of this place is it’s the only hotel in the park. They’ve got a bunch of kids running the place who don’t care about customer service. Avoid this place as much as you can!

• Gregg (8/5): - In a National Park so naturally beautiful. Cabin was great, friendly staff. Came in after dark and it is very dark, almost pitch black. Not advised. Make sure you have the code for the canyon gate during shuttle season otherwise you won't get access to the road. They send it in an email (outdated but code right)

The cabins have no TV and the cellular/Wifi are spotty at best. The floors were dirty and needed cleaning. The food at the on-site restaurant was mediocre at best. There may be better options in nearby Springdale unless you want to stay in the heart of the park.

After driving around the parking lot for 15 minutes and unable to find a spot, we gave up. Staying at the lodge put us where it was convenient to park and access the shuttle.

• tim (6/5): - I booked last minute and called on the way to ask for the A/C to be turned on, so I could go straight to bed, which they accommodated right away. I arrived and the two gate codes they provided me didn't work, so I had to call the front desk and ask for it. Then was informed that the payment from Expedia, which I booked through, was declined, meaning they wanted me to pay twice until we sort it out. Once in, the guy miraculously checked me in and then the payment worked fine. The parking lot was full, then I was told I could park even further away at a separate lot. The building housing the rooms was hot and muggy, but thankfully they did turn my A/C on, and my room was fine. The room was clean, the staff friendly, the lodge completely convenient location.
• Nan (10/5): - Great service! Our room has a great view and very comfortable. We stepped out and it’s the emerald pool trail head!
