• 393claudiat (4/5): No housekeeping for 3 days – unacceptable for a 10‑night stay - We are staying 10 nights with my mother, my aunt, and my 5‑year‑old daughter. On day one: no housekeeping at all. We returned at 11 PM to dirty towels, unmade beds, and full trash. On day two: they removed trash and left new towels – but did NOT make the beds (we had left them straightened in the morning) and did NOT clean the bathroom. For a Holiday Inn, this is not acceptable. I will speak with the manager tomorrow. I hope they fix this, but as of now, I cannot recommend this hotel for long stays or for families.
• Stefan (1/5): Fine hotel, terrible staff - The staff were terrible and of no help. When we check in, the guy behind the desk (Gregg I think) was rude, on the phone, didn’t explain anything, just handed me two keys. When I asked for a luggage cart, he said all of them are probably with guests. Next morning when I check out, young guy sitting behind the desk on his phone, feet up. I greet and he looks at me like I’m lost. I ask whether they have luggage carts available, mind you is early morning now, he literally, I kid you not, literally shrugs at me and then again says they must be in use, I should go check the other floors. Not that he is going to try to find me one, no, I should walk around and look for one. I have never experienced staff less willing to help than this. The hotel itself was fine.

• Ellen (10/5): Nice stay - The room was a gem. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Kitchen prepared a great breakfast bar selection. Unfortunately there was a shortage of servers during our stay and the restaurant was not open, but we ate at nearby restaurants as needed.

• Drew (10/5): This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. - This was absolutely one of the cleanest, nicest hotels we have stayed at. As we were checking in, they did not have our double room that we had booked, available. They made it right by giving us two king-size rooms +3 free breakfasts all for the price of what the queen room would have been. They definitely went above and beyond to make it right! And it was very quiet! I never heard anybody, and the hotel was completely booked! Wonderful stay!!

• davidjC3913IL (6/5): It once was great, now not so much. Buyer Beware! - This property used to be a top Quality IHG Holiday Inn Property, not so much now. The staff explained "Harr's Hotel" went back to the Bank about 2+ years ago, with zero interested buyers to date. Johnny's Italian Steakhouse packed up and moved out, they posted the rent was too high. The property is in disrepair, how IHG continues to allow this property to remain in their IHG Holiday Inn inventory is a mystery. Breakfast hostess / server was doing her very best all things considered at Breakfast. It used to be a really nice place now it's fallen into the depths of dispair.

• A2623TMjayk (4/5): A disgusting place and I don't know who gave them four stars reviews. - Absolutely filthy rooms and disgusting toilets, water leaking from tub to floor. Stinking shower curtain (moldy) and carpet has spills all over. Extremely poor quality of the bed. Springs popping out . You will smell weed in the hallways and now you can imagine who are people living there with no respect for guests. When I went downstairs to complaint and the guy told me it is what it is.

• Kathy (5/5): disappointing! - Holiday Inn usually has a free breakfast and it wasn't free. our room had hair in tub and cucumbers in the fridge and our other room had a red wristband on the floor. if the room was cleaned properly that would not have happened. because of that we got a free breakfast which should have been complementary anyway. but we will never stay at a holiday inn again because rooms were not cleaned properly. same as above

• Nancy (8/5): Friendly front desk staff - The gentleman that checked us in was awesome, I did not get his name and his shift ended about 30 minutes after we checked in. We got there around 10:30 pm. He was very friendly and funny. He did a great job of going over everything the hotel had to offer, pool, restaurant, bar breakfast and the exercise room. All of the front desk staff was very friendly. Little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, and there was only 1 cup left by the ice bucket. There were 3 adults and 1 toddler in the room, we could of used a few more cups. The beds were wonderful. I haven't slept that good in awhile. All in all, it was a good stay.

• Timothy (3/5): Poor - Not much I will never stay at this hotel again. The thermostat was locked at 67. The staff was not helpful. To be so cheap to lock the temperature it just reminds me that Holiday Inn is a cheap hotel trying to be expensive. The towels were very thin and the shower know just kept spinning so you had to guess the position for hot water. Very disappointed in the amount of money I spent. Changed hotels and the Hilton was fabulous.

The pillow slip I had on one of the pillows was dirty, the sheets smelled funny, the carpets were disgusting and stained all over. The bathroom was not clean especially the shower. The floor by the door was sticky. The manager Greg was not very kind just very dismissive and stoic. There’s a full service holiday inn where I went to college in the middle of nowhere ohio that keeps their rooms and lobby much nicer than this.

The shower had lots of cracks in it around the corners. And there was buildup around edges. The shower drain was dirty. My body wash container was empty and sheets smelled some like they hadn’t been changed.

I didn't like how you have to pay for breakfast when all other Holiday inns have complementary breakfast and I didn't like how they allowed people to stand right outside the door and smoke cigarettes.

• Stephanie (2/5): - I booked a 2 queen reservation….. when we arrived in our room it was a king bed with a pull out couch that was absolutely disgusting. We also didn’t have any pillows, sheets or blankets in our room for the pull out couch. When asked, they only had pillows and sheets so we had to run to Meijer at 11pm at night to get blankets to sleep with. No one working seemed to care about our experience or help solve our problems. It was very much a “it is what it is” interaction.
• Kristin (2/5): - The staff gave us a very difficult time because we booked through Expedia. They didn’t have the room we booked and blamed it on booking through Expedia. When we did get a room, it wasn’t clean. We had to move three times before we got a clean room. We did finally get placed into the room we booked, but it took over 24 hours and a compliant filed with Expedia before we got the room we booked. When we asked for a receipt for incidentals when we checked out, we were told we could not have a receipt because we booked through Expedia. It took several minutes of discussion about needing a receipt to check room charges before they finally gave us one. Additionally, the hotel property overall was short staffed resulting in delays for service and overall not a clean or maintained property.

• angel (4/5): Dissatisfied - Well, I was highly disappointed that the restaurant and bar was not open. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to stay there so we wouldn’t have to go out and eat or have a drink. We could be right there in the room in the hotel so yeah, I was disappointed The morning after I wanted to have a late check out in the checkout lady was extremely rude. She kind of snapped and said NO LATE CHECK OUTS. It said 12 was the checkout time and she said that we had to be out by 11.
