• Chen (8/5): - The Riad is very beautiful from inside. And good location. The staff is nice. The WiFi is not very good and bad in our room. The shower section needs a shower curtain and drain is not very fast. The breakfast is traditional. But you need to calculate one hour if you are in a hurry.

• Federica (9/5): Soggiorno da sogno - Tutto, posto fantastico, curato nel dettaglio, arredato con gusto, non dava l'impressione di essere un posto antico e Con una storia bellissima dietro. Colazione impeccabile, staff iper attento in ogni minimo dettaglio. Davvero stupendo e ci torneremo. Non ci sono note negative. Se proprio devo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, sulla coperta c'era una macchia e sulle lenzuola un pelo. Ma credo possa capitare, le lenzuola e i letti erano comunque di qualitá, e si percepisce la cura nello scegliere i dettagli. Avremmo amato trovare all'entrata qualche fragranza in camera, siamo abituati all'entrata negli alloggi marocchini sempre super profumati, qui profumava di pulito, ma non c'erano profumi particolari che sono molto graditi.

La chambre était spacieuse et très propre (le ménage était fait chaque jour avec beaucoup de soin), avec une literie incroyable. La maison est magnifique et tout le personnel est très gentil et attentionné. Le petit déjeuner était varié et très copieux, avec des options différentes tous les jours. L’hôtel est bien placé, il permet de visiter facilement la médina et les borj, tout en étant situé dans une zone très calme. On recommande vivement !!! Rien, si on revient à Fès nous retournerons ici !!

• Ruslan (10/5): Amazing beautiful stay in the historical city - The place in reality looks exactly like the picture, and the host Tahir is super friendly and was taking care of us, especially helping with navigating the town and giving suggestions. The location is also very comfortable, as it is not right in the center, so it was very peaceful and at the same time easy to reach the Medina, just 10 mins walk. The indoor decorations are probably compared to the palace somewhere in Marrakech, because it was highly decorated. The room was looking incredible, and the food for the dinner and for the breakfast was delicious as well. The only thing we were missing was the iron. I think it is nice to get one iron for the property in case the guests would like to prepare their clothes for some pictures. Also, if you are traveling as a couple and would like to have some fun in the morning or late at night, it is better to book another place because the rooms are not soundproof and you need to keep it in mind.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given great advice and suggestions which we found invaluable. Tahir and the staff at Riad Zamane were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure that our stay at the Riad was comfortable and memorable. Communications with Tahir was easy with prompt responses. Riad Zamane is well located, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Our room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We looked forward to the delicious breakfasts each morning which were served with care in the central courtyard. I also enjoyed one of the best spa treatments I have ever received. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay in Fes very special. We loved everything and found nothing to fault during our stay at the Riad.

• Geoff (10/5): Fabulous in Fes - Riad Zamane is a tastefully decorated, historical residence located very conveniently in the Fes Medina. Similar to most Medina locations, vehicle access is restricted but this location is an easy walk within 100m of the vehicle drop area. We booked a larger family suite for 3 of us, which was spacious, luxurious and beautiful. Breakfast was typically Morrocan, a nourishing, largely carbohydrate-laden meal featuring freshly baked bread (Khobz), eggs, olive oil, butter honey, olives and fresh cheese, with endless coffee and mint tea.
• Pamela (10/5): A great find, a quit oasis on the Medina - The Riad was well located and easily accessible. Our room was huge with a separate sitting area. Staff especially Tahir and his team was exceptionally welcoming and ready to help and communication was easy by WhstsApp. We booked a few private tours through them but be aware that the driver is not a guide and will just take you places and rarely offers any explanations or historical context to where you are going. When you reach a destination you are often on your own to explore or hire a local guide at your expense. We had several excellent dinners there and as a plus to they serve wine, not a given in other places. Try the Moroccan wines, many are excellent. Bottles of water should be provided daily in the room.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They even made us breakfast 'to-go' because we had a very early train to catch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, just wish we had more than 2 nights! Needed one more night! We would love to come back!

• Geraldine (9/5): Riad agradable y buena ubicación - El Riad está muy bien ubicado para acercarse a la zona de la medina y poder realizar las visitas. De fácil acceso y muy buena atención. El desayuno nos gustó mucho (incluía café o té, panecillos de distintos tipos, fruta, yogurt, mermeladas, huevos, etc). El acceso a las habitaciones es solo por escaleras, quizás para una persona con movilidad reducida le sea algo complicado. Lo único es que indicaban que también hablaban español pero no fue así. Pero de todos modos hicieron todo lo posible para comunicarnos sin problemas.

• ALFREDO (10/5): Ottimo Dar a due passi dalla porta Blu - Praticamente tutto, è una casa tradizionale con molta atmosfera. I ragazzi che lo gestiscono sono molto gentili e professionali. Curato nel dettaglio, posizione ottima. Volendo proprio dare un paio di consigli: Metterei a disposizione dell’acqua fresca (non temperatura ambiente), nelle camere oppure in reception. A colazione inserirei qualcosa di salato in più, magari un formaggio per accompagnare il pane marocchino.

• Ulrike (10/5): - Zuvorkommendes tolles Personal, wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende willkommen gefühlt, bequeme Betten, leckeres Frühstück, tolle Dachterasse, ein Haus mit 1000 und eine Nacht-Flair. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben und sind sogar zur nächsten Unterkunft begleitet worden, die wir sonst definitiv nicht gefunden hätten. Es wurde alles für einen reibungslosen, unvergesslichen Aufenthalt getan, danke dem tollen Personal dafür!!!

• Anja (10/5): Wunderschönes Riad mit Parkmöglichkeit und Dachterrasse - Wir hatten eigentlich ein anderes Riad gebucht. Allerdings war in der App die Buchung nicht mehr existent. Riad Zamane ist wunderschön. Unsere Suite war großartig, das Bett riesig und bequem. Das Bad ist auch sehr hübsch mit vielen Details. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und Tahir von der Rezeption sehr nett. Wir konnten kostenfrei 2 Strassen weiter parken, da das Riad am Rand der Medina liegt. Man ist mittendrin und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es leckere Restaurants. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Auch die Dachterrasse war toll. Laut Karte gibt es dort auch Alkohol. Nichts.
• Amber (10/5): Geweldig, echt een aanrader! - Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij! Op loopafstand van de souks en alle andere bezienswaardigheden. De massage is ook zeker een aanrader. Wij hopen nog eens terug te kunnen gaan.

• Wally Jay (8/5): Newly renovated Riad with modern amenities and good location. - Newly renovated Riad with comfortable bedding. Room was clean. Good location with easy access to the medina of Fes. The Spa/Hamman area needed renovation and staff needs more training to deliver a more spa-like experience. It didn't feel relaxing, more like a car wash.

The only minus point, our room's bathroom (was on the top floor) had a bad smell, the hotel tried to fix it but was not able to solve it. Hope it will be properly repaired for the next guests.

Everything was seamless—from booking tours to arranging spa treatments like massages and the hammam—which really enhanced our experience. The rooms were exceptional: beautifully presented, comfortable, and a perfect place to relax after a day exploring. A special thank you to Tahir and Hamza, who were both so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference. We would absolutely recommend this riad and would happily stay again.
• OwentheBigO (10/5): Great place and fantastic staff! - A great hotel and a superb location. You really feel like you’re back in ancient Morocco with the beautiful style and high ceilings. The hotel itself was great, but even better was the level of customer service. Staff helped us with our heavy suitcases up narrow stairways and also with calling ahead to help with other arrangements. Hamza in particular was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back and staying again in the future at Riad Zamane. Owen & Izumi

• Gaia (10/5): Gioiello nel cuore di Fes - Personale gentilissimo e disponibile: Hamza è stato pronto ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta e curiosità. Il Riad è bellissimo e caratteristico, le stanze spaziose e confortevoli. Location comodissima. Pulizia ottima, cosi come il servizio di colazione e cena su richiesta. Siamo state benissimo e sarà un punto di appoggio sicuro per il nostro prossimo soggiorno a Fes! Abbiamo avuto inizialmente qualche difficoltà nel trovare la location. Una volta chiarito non si può più sbagliare.

RIEN!!!!!!

• Samuele (10/5): Soggiorno di due notti in coppia - Riad stupendo dentro la Medina, facile da raggiungere anche in auto (c’è un parcheggio custodito a 3 minuti a piedi). Struttura curata con una terrazza stupenda, camere grandi e pulite con un arredamento davvero bello e caratteristico. Abbiamo avuto modo di cenare qui la prima sera ed era tutto davvero buonissimo, per chi vuole hanno anche vini marocchini eccellenti, noi abbiamo bevuto un rosso che non aveva nulla da invidiare ad un vino italiano. Un ringraziamento particolare va allo staff che ci ha accolto sempre in modo gentile e sorridente. Se dovessimo tornare a Fes torneremmo sicuramente qui.

Quarto espaçoso e confortável, as camas são uma delícia. O Hamza é muito atencioso, calmo, tranquilo, ele parece como uma entidade incorporada ao local, sempre presente e muito educado. O riad é muito silencioso, perfeito para descansar. Fizemos o hammam e a massagem e foram ótimos. Obrigada a toda equipe O pagamento dos serviços extras é preferencialmente em dinheiro, o que não foi um problema mas teria sido melhor se avisado no momento do agendamento (mas há um ATM quase na esquina, foi tranquilo). Sentimos falta de um frigobar no quarto. O restaurante do riad só funciona com reserva de 1 dia de antecedência, essa informação também seria melhor se comunicada com antecedência

• Marie (10/5): Great Riad in the Medina - We loved everything: the location, the beautiful decoration, the bedroom and bathroom (we had the suite with terrace), the diner and breakfast in the patio, and last but not least, the kindness of all the employees working here. We would definitively come back if we are coming back to Fes. We loved everything.

I found it interesting that we had to leave the key at the front desk before leaving but someone was always there to receive us. It has too many stairs! Not a place for the weak,elderly or disabled.
