Across the road from the train station for those doing the Royal Gorge train trip - we did. Close to excellent restaurants. Five Star!

The owner was helpful with local stuff. Breakfast in cold stuff and bagels. Coffee decent. It was just an overnight stay and perfect for what we needed. I would stay again and hopefully get a bed to my liking.
• Charles (10/5): - Very well done rooms. Breakfast area very pleasant and location was great. Easy walk to rooftop restaurant and train station. Downtown is close and walkable. We recommend the 1887 bar, restaurant and hidden speakeasy in the historic St Cloud Hotel.
• Kay (10/5): - This is our second time here. It’s still the cleanest!!! We love walking around Old Town Canon City and stopping at The World’s End Brewery. It’s also across the street from the beautiful Arkansas River and Royal Gorge Train.

• Frank (10/5): Great place to stay! - The Parkview Inn was an excellent place to stay. The inn was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept very well. Staff was friendly and professional. We would definitely come back for another stay. It's across the street from the Royal Gorge Railroad and very near Canon City's very nice downtown area. We recommend staying here!

And is located near the train depot for tours of the Royal Gorge. This quaint town is walkable with many options for fining. Check in with friendly staff, check out was simple, room neat and clean. We would definitely recommend this motel.

• Tonya (10/5): Diamond in the rough - I'd almost like to keep this one a secret but props where props are due. This is one of the cleanest hotels, including the entire grounds, rooms, breakfast area we've ever stayed at. (And it's been many) This operation is as an efficient machine at delivering on expectations that a traveler could hope for. It's a 1/2 block walk to nearly unlimited food/shopping choices up Main and directly across the street from Royal Gorge Railroad and Arkansas River Park. Has self laundry on the property. Second stay here and wouldn't hesitate to pick Parkview among a sea of "branded" chain hotels. Really couldn't wait to get home and write this review. Great place, don't look further, book it now.
• Mark (10/5): Clean, Affordable Place in Canon City - The Parkview Inn Motel was just what I needed for my 3-day stay in Canon City. It is not fancy at all, but fills all the basic needs. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It also is located nicely near the main attractions in Canon City. If you want fancy, this is not the place for you. But if you want a clean, affordable comfortable place to stay, this is it.

Great stay. - Owner? runs the business, nice lady! had a bit of confusion because we reserved online, but still had to pay when we arrived, we thought we paid when booking. We checked our reservation and we did just hold the room online and did still need to pay on arrival. No big deal, just check. Room was very clean, we actually like the motor lodges better than the big hotels, lots of them in this area. Its nice to pull up to your door.

• Michael (10/5): A gem! - This is a gem! I can't say enough good things. It is pristine everywhere. The exterior is immaculately kept as are the rooms and the breakfast area. I appears to be very recently updated and is quiet and cozy. We are a 75 year old couple and when we were there, many of the other guests were senior couples. At the end of our stay, the guests were younger, including two very young women next door to us. Things are quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. We didn't miss our Sleep Number bed a bit! The breakfast area is lovely with a nice selection of breads and pasteries, yogurt, dry cereals and oatmeal and frest fruit. There were lots of toppings as well as spreads and orange juice, ice water, milk and coffees with flavored creamers and syrups. We walked to dinner at a variety of restaurants on the main street every night and had delicious ice cream around the corner. We will definitely stay again.

• Victoria (10/5): Best Motel Ever! - This is the best “motel” we have ever stayed in. It is an older motel but it has been renovated. It was very clean and it was nice that we could park our vehicle in front of our door.

A two star rating means it has daily housekeeping, televisions, some food and beverage accommodations, bathroom amenities, etc. It does not have a swimming pool, gym, or restaurant. Those things would make it a three-star or more. This motel has very clean rooms and well maintained grounds. The rooms are more grandma cozy than modern chic. That's a nice change of pace. It's across the street from a park, thus the name "Parkview". It's one block from Main Street. Main Street offers a lot of shopping and dining options. We enjoyed our stay here!

Breakfast was basic with a cereal choice of Cheerios or Raisin Bran (no Froot Loops as you usually find as an alternative). A big plus is that the property was a short walk to the park across the street and to shopping and dining. In general, it was a decent stay.

• Stanford (10/5): - Older motel in Canon City that has been renovated. Great room, and pretty quiet even in our room that looked out on the highway. It's directly across the street from the Royal Gorge train station, so pretty convenient. I'd choose this if I come back to the area.

• Monika (4/5): - The property is outdated. The carpets are smelly. The bathroom was full of insects. Even our bed had spiders. The breakfast was very poor (no protein). It wasn't a good stay. The only good thing is the location.
