Guest Reviews
- Kelly (10/5): Excellent accommodations - Super friendly & helpful staff! Great little hotel & super convenient location.
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Bonnie (6/5): Great location, friendly staff but needs carpets cleaned. - We stayed at this motel a few years ago and everything was very clean. This time, not so much. The carpet in the hallways and stairs need to be cleaned desperately!
- LeeWei (7/5): -
- Jeannie (10/5): Comfy, clean, perfect for tired travelers - Lovely location, clean, comfy, and just what we needed after a long day driving. Recommended. No dislikes.
- Melissa (8/5): - They had a hot tub, the spa room was wonderful The pool was not clean. Breakfast was ok, not very well supplied
- Nanci (10/5): GREAT! - We love everything about your facility. The breakfast was amazing! Nothing
- Carmen (9/5): -
- Irene (10/5): It was just an over night stay, but very pleasant. - Friendly staff and very helpful. The shower. Not enough water pressure.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The view was decent. The jetted tub was amazing and the room was spacious, lots of room. The bed and the pillows were the most uncomfortable thing ever. Definitely would recommend updating this
- Rucker (8/5): -
- Daniel (7/5): - It was an oasis on our travels
And my wife likes to drink so when she freaked out, the staff understood I feel like the breakfast should’ve had protein instead of carbohydrates
- Anthony (7/5): - Comfortable great location for easy access to freeway Nothing
- hill (10/5): - Staff was professional and extremely efficient. Maids continued to keep our garbage and towels clean with our extended stay. Pool was cold but clean. Nothing
- Robert (10/5): Perfect overnight stop while travelling on highway. - Great place to stop for the night while traveling along the highway. Breakfast included, pleasant town with walks along river, lots of restaurant options.
- Kerry (8/5): - room clean, beds comfortable, breakfast selection good enough, staff friendly and helpful. Easy walk to down town area. Great Mex restaurant next door. Hot tub clean and hot!
- Shira (6/5): - I had requested a shower chair upon arrival. A few hours later, I asked again on our way out to dinner. When we can back, there was no one at the front desk and still no shower chair. So I was unable to shower in the morning. I complained in the morning to the manager, Stephanie, who was very nice, but unable to do much as we were leaving. She couldn’t give a discount because we had booked through Expedia. She did offer a 50% on our next stay, but that’s not likely to ever happen.
Also, the breakfast was abysmal. Round “scrambled “ egg disks, limp bacon, cheap bread. I guess the fresh waffles were ok. Coffee was horrible. And the 1/2 hour we were in there, no one came in to clean the tables or replenish the food. YUCK!
- Steve (6/5): - Just fine
- James (10/5): - Very nice smaller hotel very personal. Nice pool and spa. Breakfast was just right and fresh. Staff was superb.
- Angie (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Sharon (8/5): - Fresh fruit was a couple of green apples.
- James (6/5): - Carpet stained, shower dark, no house keeping, and breakfast was subpar.
Location is convenient.
- Sarah (4/5): - This place had good online reviews, however, it is not good. Seriously outdated, halls have a dirty sock smell. The motel is grossly over due for some updates and maintenance.
- Randy (2/5): - The bathtub was broken so my wife couldn’t take her bath..
- Florence (5/5): Location was convenient - The staff was very nice. The location was very convenient The room itself was okay but the carpet was so dirty, stained and torn in places. It definitely needs to be replaced. Carpet doesn’t belong in hotels! Also, walls are pretty thin!
- Ricky (10/5): - It was ok
- Guest (5/5): - The breakfast wasn't as good as other Best Westerns. No fruit. How do you get away with people using the stairs and not having an elevator. I had a difficult time with the stairs and I have operations on my knee and ankle.
Pool was not heated that well.
- Charles (8/5): - Staff should make eye contact when speaking to the guest
- Tara (8/5): - Clean room
- Brian (8/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - City of Rogue River is a great place to visit. Great restaurants
- Krista (10/5): - The room and other areas (gym, breakfast room, lobby, pool) all felt very clean and well cared for. The breakfast was nicer than expected since there was actual hot meal items included like eggs and potatoes. Will stay again!
- Regina (10/5): - Clean prooerry, EV charger were working and available. Continental breakfast was good.
- colleen (7/5): - Pet friendly, clean hotel
- Kim (8/5): -
- Edd (6/5): - Parking was good traveling in rv .
- jeffrey (10/5): - great nothing
- Mary (6/5): Rogue River stay - Breakfast was a little disappointing. They were out of reg batter for waffles. Only had strawberry. Out of both regular & Sugar free syrup. Only had blueberry & apple pie filling for the topping. Out of strawberry. No attendant...had to go find someone. Rooms were comfy. Towels were nice & soft. Biggest disappointment was ther was no view of the river. Not even from outside.
- Cristina (10/5): - La Guacamaya Mexican for dinner was great and walking distance
- Cheryl (8/5): Worked well for our road trip - Quiet, off highway
Nice staff The flooring with tape all over it is sad
- Mary (6/5): - It is an old hotel, room layout was inconvenient, check-in staff was unprofessional, the small lobby smelled like pot.
- Kimberly (10/5): - Was a very nice room. And the pool was great! And breakfast is terrific…
- Mershon (7/5): - Bed Cost advertised was $142 cost wa $192
- Keith (6/5): - Sad breakfast
- Elton (7/5): -
- Paulus (6/5): - Oud hotel dat zie je o.a. aan het tapijt en geen lift. Douche goed maar wastafel in kamer. Ontbijt compleet en goed (zelfs kaas).
- Carolyn (6/5): - What I didn’t like was the carpet was very dirty and stained. I think they need to do an update.
- John L (4/5): - Room was dirty. Air conditioning unit smelled and has mold
- Christelle (7/5): - L'hôtel est propre et accueillant. La chambre est spacieuse et la literie confortable. Un bonjour et un sourire aurait été apprécié à notre arrivée.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Kids loved the pool. Walking distance to Rouge River, clean room and breakfast included.
- Sandra (8/5): - Nice stay!!
- Angie (10/5): - Cozy rooms and clean
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Todd (6/5): - Everything was about average. Nothing really stood out but nothing disappointed. The room had a slight musty smell but was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
- Laraine (10/5): - I love the fact that they have eggs and a meat for breakfast since i generally eat keto.
They were very helpful with my luggage carrying it up when I arrived and down when I left.
It would be nice if they had an elevator. I did ask them to dump my trash I believe on day 3 but they ended up cleaning the room I believe on day 4. There may have been a mixup in the computer since I was locked out two times. Overall I was very satisfied and will stay there again if I should return to Rogue River.
- Marci (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phyllis (8/5): Good Rogue River hotel - The hotel needs a refresh but staff were always responsive. Close to a park, across the street, close to good restaurants.
- Brad (4/5): - We had 3 rooms for the night traveling with children and grandparents. All rooms were dirty. 2 out of 3 had ants all over. We were upgraded on one room but unfortunately it smelled of pee or musty. The breakfast was surprisingly good compared to the rest of the experience. The staff were all nice and friendly. I couldn’t wait to leave though.
- CORI (10/5): - Easy overnight stop.
- Judith (8/5): Very good -
- Irene (10/5): - Only wish they had an elevator
- Paul (10/5): Comfortable - Comfortable and quiet, the pillows were very small for hotel pillows though but still comfortable.
- Chanae (10/5): - The MOST important thing in a room is that the beds are comfortable, the mattresses and pillows are higher quality than all of the other places I've stayed at between Grants Pass and Medford.
This place also has a pretty good/big breakfast selection with the coffee/tea/cocoa station remaining available in the lobby outside of the breakfast hours.
The staff are always pleasant and they stay on top of things, such as restocking pool towels and the food in the breakfast trays.
The location is far enough away from the freeway that I did not hear road noise, it's not exactly the most scenic location but it is close to the river park, bike trails, and walking distance to Catch Thai in downtown.
The pool and hot tub are on the small side and very well maintained. I saw maintenance checking the chemicals in the mornings.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Lynda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): - The staff at BW RR were very nice. They made changes to our reservations to help us. When seen in the halls were really friendly.
- River J (8/5): Good stay overall, wish we had more towels. - No towel replacement or any kind of services for 3 days but good breakfast and nice room in general. Beds are comfortable. Walls are thin.
- Anonymous (10/5): nice place, kind workers, we enjoyed the stay. - We sleep well on the bed. It is a good quality sleep. NA
- Jennifer (10/5): - Clean and helpful staff
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): - Had an absolutely amazing stay. Within walking distance of the event we were attending. The area is breathtaking! Breakfast was a plus!! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!! I will come back!!
- Janet (10/5): Good stay for a good price!! - Nice rooms and courteous staff!! Love the pool and hot tub though there is quite a bit of chlorine in it.
- Bruce (10/5): - Delightful friendly competent staff excellent pool and hot tub
- Anonymous (6/5): adequate - location and did not hear the freeway noise, breakfast had a variety of foods, drinks and juices. Someone waas always available at the main desk. Facilities was very quite and need not hear other room noises. the shower faucet was in poor shape. outside of windows needs cleaned, carpet needed cleaning (besides being vacuumed), toilet was far too low. Elevator was out-of-order, however I did appreciate that the staff offered to assist with the luggage.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Great place, highly recommend.
- Laurie (9/5): Superb - Location to the river A bit pricy.
- Molsberry (9/5): We would stay there agaon - Breakwefast was great
- Michael (8/5): - This place isn't fancy, but it's not supposed to be. It's nice and the staff is super helpful.
- Sam (8/5): - The swimming pool was dirty needs a good ckeaning
- Angela (6/5): Problem children in rogue river - the stay was great except there were several young boys in the pool area and they were not guests of the hotel they were from Rogue River, they were jumping off the 2nd story balcony railing, using very foul language and when they were told dont due it they did it one more time and then left but came back less than an hour later. I was traveling by myself, and this made my time by the pool less than enjoyable. Why wasnt staff checking apparently these boys do this quite often as they knew their way around the pool and hot tub very well and even remarked they were going to go in and use the workout room. When I walked to town later I encountered these same boys in town and they were smart mouthed to me as they figured I turned them in..
- Slaughter (10/5): We enjoyed our stay. Quite and nice breakfast - Convient to town and my family Bathroom counter too small
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Victoria (10/5): Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!! - We had the greatest time at this hotel! The staff were the absolute best at tending to every detail and every need with speed, care and a happy and smiling face. The breakfast everyday was such a lovely spread of yumminess with biscuits and gravy to home fries and sausage or bacon. The staff really work overtime in making sure it’s as clean as possible. Didn’t get the two names of the ones who helped the most but it was the last with glasses and dark hair and the man with the bun that worked the front desk and kitchen area that made our trip so enjoyable! The deserve a raise! The only thing o wish we had known was that there was no elevator. We were second floor middle of the hall and so going from the car and loading or unloading to just breakfast, laundry or the pool really made us tired—for healthy people without false hips, it wouldn’t be a big deal, and next time, we know to request first floor as to avoid this.
- David (3/5): Nope - It's convienent to the freeway Filthy carpet, torn and loaded with ground in dark spots. Facility was not as clean as it should be. This is a 2 story facility without an elevator. Bear that in mind. Building is located close to a cannibis store which brings people who drive with loud stereos in their hoopty cars, disturbing the tranquility.
- Erica (10/5): - My daughter broke her goggles right as she was about to get into the pool. I went to the front desk to see if Lost and Found had any. David at the front desk not only looked at what they had onhand, but he went into a storage area to check. Then he called a few nearby stores to see if there were goggles and highlighted a map along with letting me know where it would be cheaper.
Best Western hotels are always perfectly fine places, but David's thoghtfullness pushed this location to excellent.
- Patricia (10/5): - All was great!
- Michael (10/5): - Awesome facility and Rouge River is an exceptional place to stay!
- Michael (8/5): - TV was difficult for me to work. Couldn't turn up volume. Breakfast was average. hotel clean, rooms clean and quiet.
- Brigette (10/5): - Amazing property!
- Freddy (1/5): Bad -
- Deanna (6/5): - The stay was good. Breakfast was decent. The only complaint was that we stayed for two nights and turn down service was not provided. Might’ve been due to a staffing issue.
- Mario (6/5): We were hoping for a more up to date place - Rooms were clean but had some odours and beds were not comfortable They had a decent breakfast
- Virginia (8/5): - The stay was fine. I thought the bathroom lighting was 'different'. Very, very dim unless you turned on the exhaust which turned on the light above the tub. The gentleman who checked me in was nice and friendly, and recommended the great Mexican restaurant next door. My only complaint: I resent being called 'dear'. I know he thinks he's being pleasant, but I find dear, sweetheart, and young lady insulting. You might suggest he break the habit of calling women, especially older women, dear. Oh, and one soft pillow instead of all hard and overstuffed would be nice.
- Anne (10/5): Great stay - The staff were very friendly and the facilities were very comfortable.
- Brian (4/5): - There wasn’t any housekeeping so we ran out of soap , shampoo and towels. No elevator. Parking lot too narrow for some vehicles to get through.
- breanne (6/5): - Accommodations were standard. Breakfast buffet was empty
- Katie (10/5): - The pool and hot tub were nice.
- Emily (10/5): - The room had all the amenities we needed.
- Rene' (10/5): - Clean and no hassle check in. Good location
- Richard (10/5): - Property had excellent staff and broad array of amenities. I will stay there again!
