Guest Reviews
- Joshua (8/5): - In fairness, it was a clean room, no issues with bugs. Basic accommodations at a reasonable price.
- Andrew (8/5): - Very quiet and the staff was helpful
- Paul (8/5): - lots of parking and convenient location. Worth the price
- Homer (10/5): - Cute place. Clean room. Firm bed. Friendly staff. Tight parking. Had a frig. and microwave in the room.
We were looking for a place to sleep and shower while touring the beauty of Carrizo Plains. ππΈπ» This place did that for us at a great price.
- Maithanh (10/5): - Reasonable price, convenient, close and easy to entrance to Carrizo Plain National Monument
- Karen (10/5): - Very friendly at check in. Older place, but very clean and neat. Best part.... I had covered parking right next to my room for my motorcycle.
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent - Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe, friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room a bit drafty, otherwise pleasant stay. Stayed one night and slept well
- Bill (6/5): At Least They Had The Fox News Channel - What I expected for the cost... So, tβwas good nuff ππ
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet area, room was really clean. Maybe newer sheets could be of a help. Management A+.
- Ujjal (10/5): - Nice and friendly staff. Good room and big bathroom. Value for money. I recommend this motel .
- Tina (4/5): If you have to . - Will look for another hotel next time .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very small hard beds that were advertised as Queen - The owner was nice and polite. However the room and had a very uncomfortable beds. It is in what seems like a shady and scary neighborhood. My therapy pet was afraid to walk around and go to the bathroom in the area even. It seems like The kind of place you go to for an hour to work.
- RAFAEL (8/5): Even remote locations are worth it. - Simple, modest, fine, clean, practical. End of the world area of the world but I expected it since I was on a "El Carrizo" desert mission.Kind management. I will come back,

- Verified traveler (10/5): Sunset a clean hote/motel - I was a little skeptical but really like that the restroom was clean fresh paint ,nice like that very much.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a summer hotel! - Taft is HOT in the summer. This room only had a swamp cooler that kind of worked during the day. The chairs were stained & broke. Though it had a refrigerator & TV that was it. There was no microwave, iron, clock or blow dryer. The closest outlet to the bed was across the room. In order to find the time in the middle of the night you had to get up & go to your phone if it was plugged in. I felt this room was over priced for what was offered.
- Roy (8/5): Great place to stay for the night - This family owned hotel is really nice, they are friendly and welcoming. Its small and simple, perfect for my business trip for an overnight stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): TAFT! - well... its TAFT! i was out there on my motorcycle riding the Carrizo Plain and exploring Elkhorn Valley (mostly dirt roads, etc), and decided a bed would be nice to sleep in, so i booked a room at this hotel. its got its "charm", Taft is a bit salty, and ruckus, someone knocked on the window in the middle of the night, as if in some sort of code. drag races on the street thru out the night... etc. definitely not a fancy hotel. did i like it? yah! sure. but i'm a bit adventurous? if staying in a hotel is an adventure. there is a good mexican food restaurant next door!
- andey (6/5): small town comfort - wasn't fancy but it was perfect to what we needed
- Eric (6/5): Not Horable - In town for work, Soent 5 days, the location is somewhat load with lots of road noise. The room was clean, bed very hard. Typical road side Motel
- April (8/5): Refurbished and Clean - This is an old property but the rooms have been recently been upgraded with all new bathroom, painting, floors polished, flat screen with DirectTV.
