- michelleeD9844WU (10/5): Bridgewater Hotel - We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Traveling with a big group can be challenging, but everything was handled so smoothly and made our trip truly enjoyable. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we all felt comfortable from start to finish. Aaliyah & Ashley especially stood out with their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile for us. They really helped make our stay feel special and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for group stays, this would be our first hotel we contact when coming back!

- Susmita (6/5): We stayed for one night and overall it was alright - a bit over-priced for the room. - The location was good. Although the pick up from the Railroad depot took quite a while as there was a bit of confusion with the van having Springhill suites written on it and not Bridgewater, airport drop was very timely. The temperature control in our room 215 wasn't working so the room was exceptionally hot at 89 degrees Fahrenheit.
The location of the foldable baggage rack just beneath the clothes hangers was a bit inconvenient. There were no shower caps in the bath.
- Rhonda (10/5): Best location!! - We were happy with the Bridgewater Hotel. Staff was great. The location was perfect and convenient for us, We did not need to rent a car. Downtown was right there. We could walk or take the bus to every place we wanted to go. Tour companies picked us up at the hotel. And Bridgewater provides transportation to and from the airport. We will always stay at the Bridgewater Hotel when in town.

- robert (7/5): ok stay would stay again - location good water pressure very good. wifi, just ok, many interuptions sink drain very slow
- David (8/5): Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms - It would have been nice to have a restaurant in the hotel
- Nina (7/5): Good - Good location and high standard of safety. If you are not a guest you can not come into hotel.
- Adrian (6/5): Gets the job done - Free Airport Shuttle
Close to downtown Fairbanks
Amazing staff Not very clean (a bit grimey)
Rooms are very dated and small
WiFi was bad (disconnects constantly on multiple devices)

- sldahlfred (10/5): Delighful Experience in Alaska - The front desk staff at the hotel were amazing. We were first-timers in Alaska and had lots of questions. We were given tips for restaurants (they were never wrong!) They offered to wake us up during the night if the aurora borealis appeared. They made recommendations for the best transportation to our destinations and gave us explicit directions when things were walkable. They were always friendly and accommodating no matter what the issue or question. The hotel was a great base for our Alaska experience.
- carol (7/5): No wifi all week was very frustrating and over shadowed everything good about the hotel. - The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. No wifi during my entire week long stay. Was told that if you had an Iphone and used Private Browsing the wifi wouldn’t work. Everyone uses Private Browsing! I couldn’t use Uber or Lyft without the internet or check on tourist attractions or my emails. For this reason, I would not stay here again. Was told that the manager blocked Private Browsing after he discovered inappropriate use of the computers in the lobby. He shouldn’t block his guests!

- Macarena (9/5): Great place ! - The location is great to walk in downtown and most of the tour pick me up at the hotel ! I doesn’t have breakfast
- Bojia (8/5): -
- Sudheer Kumar (5/5): It is just ok but l don’t choose this hotel next time. - The only thing is cleanliness and location. They don’t have proper air circulation. The exhausted fan is not working, there is no body lotion which is very important in the cold places like this. Surprised to see a hotel without a body lotion.
- L5756ULnicholasm (10/5): Saved last minute - Candace and her team were able to accommodate me during a last minute schedule change. I always stay with bridgewater
- Carlos (9/5): -
- deborah (6/5): - No restaurant, vending machines. Bathroom was way too small. Hard to move around
- carlbs2026 (10/5): Great hotel - Place was nice right downtown Fairbanks next to the river great service very clean and right next to local bars and restaurants if I go back to Fairbanks I know where I’m staying
- terrylR6759CW (10/5): Great Alaskan trip! - Staff were amazing!! I loved the secure entrance and location! We will be back!
- Janette (7/5): -
- Escobedo (4/5): Not for me - I like the professionalism and courtesy of Tyresa Burkman I don't like that there's no shuttle to airport, no smart TV's and having to endure watching 80's shows and aside from Tyresa at the front desk, the rest of the staff are rude
- Kendria (7/5): Awesome. - The security. You can't even get in the building without a reservation. I love that. Especially for downtown Fairbanks. There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was great. Thank you
- Kristal (10/5): Comfortable stay - The room was cozy. You should be able to make the room warmer in colder months.
- Mary (9/5): -
- Lynnette (4/5): - It was very bare bones--felt sterile and cheap. Not what I expect from a Wyndham property
- M8567NAnickc (2/5): Terrible - Worst experience ever with evidence attached.
We arrived at 2/14/2026 evening around 10 pm and checked out around 10 am on 2/17/2026 morning. The guy at front desk gave us parking permit and allowed us to park at the parking lot near the hotel. We parked in the same space on 2/14, 2/15, and 2/16. However, on 2/16 we booked a tour and had our vehicle parked at the same spot. After we returned at the evening, our rental car disappeared and we were told by the hotel that our car was towed. The towing (S & S company) was requested by the restaurant opposite to the hotel and the hotel was aware of this all the time (because we have our parking permit put in front of the windshield all the time and the hotel can identify our room number) and see our vehicle getting towed by the restaurant.
This was ridiculous.
Afterwards, we called police and they said this is the issue between our hotel and the restaurant. We tried to call hotel manager and our called kept getting into voice mailbox. The front desk agents did not want to care about this at all and apologize for they misleading of guiding us to park in the parking lot.
In general, we paid 1300 USD to get our rental car back. We even had to ask Hertz to deal with the tow company first before we can uber their to get our car back.
Everyone is helping except the hotel.
1. The restaurant who towed our car provided us with the tow company and let use know the permission from the hotel. They called hotel to confirm our room and information.
2. The police helps us by providing the process since we are not at fault but the hotel is. They ask us to ask hotel manager to make compensation of this since hotel is supposed to be aware of this.
3. Hertz company helps us to arrange a time with tow company first so we can get our rental car back the next day in the morning.
On the last day of checkout on 2/17. The hotel did not apologize for this still. We attached all the evidence including hotel room key, tow fee confirmation, the rental from Hertz.
We just need a justice. That is it.

- Neil (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The staff were friendly, though when I called to confirm my reservation before flying up, they didn't have me in the system (so I'm glad I called). It also would have been nice if they told me about their free airport shuttle as, arriving around 1:30 a.m., I had to wait close to 45 minutes and pay $30 for a taxi...when I saw a shuttle going to hotels (that, apparently, included mine...but the hotel didn't tell me ahead of time). See above. And the room wasn't uncomfortable, but was a little cold and I couldn't find any thermostat control. But, that's minor.
- Camejo (6/5): - The move from the other rooms is horrible
- Sweat (10/5): -
- WAYNE (9/5): Loved it. Would stay there again - The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was very warm with no way to cool it down. The heater was off and it was Alaska. But other than that it was great.
- Fabian (10/5): -
- Gary (10/5): -
- KATHLEEN (9/5): - It was very central and was what we required. We had no problems
- Sweat (10/5): - Staff Size
- George (7/5): -
- Roger (6/5): Adequate - There was no breakfast offered except for coffee. Bare minimum. The location of the hotel was central and close to a lot of food places so breakfast wasn’t a hindrance. The sraff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom shower was small for me.
- Ben (2/5): Pathetic hotel operation - Good beds, everything else was sub-par. Microwave didn't work. Coffee service wasn't refreshed. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Only one ice machine in the hotel, and it was not functioning. No ice in the whole hotel.
- Janice (7/5): - Price, location and the fact that inside our room wasn't freezing cold despite record breaking cold temps outside. Rooms were just okay. For the price I didn't expect much more than what I got but I did find trash under our ved and the room smelled like popcorn after we used the microwave to warm up a hot pocket. I'm assuming the microwave wasn't cleaned between guests.

- Georgios (6/5): Clean and convenient located hotel - The hotel is simple, but has a customer parking lot. Rooms are clean and bathroom equipped. There is a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. It does not offer breakfast and there is no restaurant in the premises, but walking distance to downtown stores, restaurants or the river front. When I ask front desk staff for weather and Aura viewing chance, I got a tired and typical answer (we have a map in the elevator). They could have been a bit more helpful (although I assume everyone is asking about Aura, so it gets repetitive).
- georgiosb854 (6/5): Clean and convinient located hotel - The hotel is simple (no breakfast is included), but has a customer parking lot. Rooms are clean and bathroom equipped. There is a refrigerator and coffee machine. Walking distance to downtown stores or the river front. Front desk could have been a bit more helpful to questions (although I assume everyone is asking about Aura, so it gets repetitive). Although the room was on the corner by the street, it was quiet during the night.
- Kai-Wen (9/5): A good value hotel in Fairbanks - Everything is great! Just being a bit picky—staff can be a little hard to find at the front desk around midnight (2–4 a.m.).
- Gary (10/5): -
- HU (6/5): - location is good no breakfast offered. Room is too small
- David (8/5): Good room for value. Missing some amenities I usually take for granted, like a breakfast option or a lounge, - Room was clean, very comfortable heating despite -35f weather. Room was quite small.
- Paige (9/5): -
- ThatAsian (7/5): -
- cherry (8/5): - Close to everything
- Robbie (1/5): Not happy v with the way we were treated. At all. Very rude. - Location comfortable bed The staff at checkout. Not only was she rude to my make friend she said that my car's was declined twice ( both cards) then proceeded to be rude and refused to allow me to use a phone call, told me I am now 86'd from the I'm property. Now you want a comment card with my opinion.

- Jason (10/5): -
- Edwards (10/5): Great experience - Great location because you can walk to places if needed Na
- RON (8/5): Great place to stay for a weekend or extended stay. Parking is available on site, or you can walk. - The staff was great and location is perfect to walk everywhere we needed to see I would focus on adding a breakfast option. Take a look at improving your rewards program.
- Holly (8/5): Good location, side facing away from bar is quiet - Location Was first put on side of hotel facing a bar parking lot, even tho I asked for quietest room. After loud night in bar parking lot I asked for quieter room and was switched to other side of hotel, away from bar parking lot. No noise problem there.
- Anthony (9/5): -
- estebansG8322PN (6/5): Good location, no frills, decent hotel. - Good location central to many attractions that are walkable. Not optimal for Aurora viewing due to light pollution but if conditions are just right, can either drive or walk to Creamers Field to view it.
- Diaan (10/5): - Everything, staff was so helpful and friendly. Room so clean and beds so comfy.
Location and free shuttle a big big bonus. Nothing everything was perfect.
- Marcus (10/5): Hotel absolutely perfect - Staff incredible Local taxi company
- Alina Wu (9/5): -
- anabelv804 (10/5): Clean and walking distance to downtown - The hotel was safe, need key card to get in. The rooms were clean and warm. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Few minutes walk to restaurants, book shop and ice museum.
- Coe (7/5): -
- Dave (8/5): Nice place - Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit tight. It would have been better if it had a queen size bed instead of king, to allow more for space.
