- Ricky (10/5): I enjoyed my stay there. It was comfortable and it was convenient to places I needed to go to. - It felt like home away from home. It was very comfortable. The toilet ran slow filling up at night.
- Johnson (10/5): - We love the funkiness of the place.
- Ahsoak (10/5): -

- Christina (8/5): - Seven Gables and Abby inn have always been my Mainstays in Fairbanks and always completely accommodating and comfortable and clean.
- Jensen (7/5): - Not what we thought we booked
- Giovanna Wilde (8/5): - I appreciated the kichenette. I had to switch rooms because the bedding was filled with dog hair in the first room. The second room had a shower that made the entire bathroom floor wet when used. The shower curtains didnt keep the water on the floor inside.

- Diana (3/5): Не повернусь та не рекомендую - Брудна постіль, рушники, раковина та підлога. На підлозі клубок чужого волосся. Також неприємно пахло в номері.
- Katie (9/5): -
- Dinesh (6/5): Value for money - Location was perfect and the room had all the necessary facilities Property is a bit dated. Can be upgraded and renovated
- Michel (4/5): Not a happy stay - I like the location I booked online for the king suite and when we got there they had a problem finding my reservation ended up putting me in a subpar room that look nothing like the room I was supposed to get. There was no way to swap it out cuz there was no open room so I believe they rented mine out that I had reserved and prepaid.
- Linda (1/5): Stay away—the most horrible, filthy, uncomfortable place we’ve ever stayed in - Absolutely nothing This was a bait and switch situation. Without permission, they put us in a “hotel” 1/2 mile away from Abbey Archway—the one we’d contracted for—and wouldn’t even drive us there in the 40 degree below zero weather. Because of that we also couldn’t have the breakfast we had paid for as we could not possibly walk to the main hotel in that bitterly cold weather, so we had to pay even more for the Uber to the other facility and pay again for our breakfasts. When I checked Google reviews for the place where they actually put us the average review was 1.2 out of 5 and customers expressed the same complaints we had.
There were brown stains on the bedspread; it was filthy everywhere; had an incredibly moldy coffee pot and unusable, lumpy pillows; the walls were super thin so it was very noisy. It was also quite expensive (significantly more pricey than the lovely Pike’s hotel, where we stayed later). The outside steps were treacherous as they were not shoveled after some of the biggest snowstorms in decades. We hardly got any sleep because of the uncomfortable beds, pillows, noise, and general disgust. The proprietor REFUSED TO RESPOND after booking.com contacted them about our complaints and refused to respond to me when I followed up with them directly.

- Andrew (10/5): - The coziness and easy check in and out process Only thing I didnt like is that I didnt stay longer the place was great
- Lorina (10/5): -
- Joan (3/5): I feel there might be more going on than just renting rooms at this establishment. - It was warm enough & out of the snow Appliances didn’t work properly. Not very clean. Maid service not very timely. All sorts of random coming & goings in the wee hours of the morning.
- Morgan (10/5): -
- Connie (6/5): it was adequate but won't stay there again. - Nice kitchen and refrigerator. The location was on the opposite side of town that we wanted but we didn't know that when we booked. after we got to the address we had to go to another nearby location. That should have been mentioned. We were without a car and there was nothing nearby. The microwave kept cutting off while we were trying to use it, I tried for 20 minutes and got no hot water in the shower but the bathroom was soaking wet. We could ot adjust the temps and we were freezing. Sorry, but we are from Florida. It was decent but not for the high price we paid for it.
- Paul J (4/5): - Felt like I went back to my college dorm room that had been remodeled since I graduated 30 years ago. The mattress felt like pieces of foam rubber stuffed inside plastic bags. Felt scetchy behind a NAPA auto parts store.
- Suzette (5/5): This is suitable for a night or two - I was not at the property where breakfast was served so I was unable to access breakfast. Work was being done at the property so it was very noisy If you’re looking for an extended stay this is not the place.
- Robert (10/5): Wonderful - Quaintl Nice Quiet

- Soper (5/5): - Breakfast didn't seem fresh. Menu was not clear, and only stated the name. It was questionable what was in the food. The locks on the door didn't work properly. The room didn't feel clean. The check-in was a little bizarre as I walked into someone's home.
- Jordachea (8/5): It was great - It was very home like No smoke rooms
- Ola (8/5): - It is an ok place to stay but nothing to write home about. The room was clean although the towels seemed dated. I got a room in the basement which was not ideal. Overall - safe place for a solo traveller.
- Breeda (8/5): - Comfortable and clean
- michael (6/5): - First room was in the basement with non fuctioning shower and daughter found meth perrifinalia. Got new room and so much better.
- O'Donnell (5/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): - The room was more than I expected. Full kitchen and roomy spaces. Checked in at 1:30 am with no problems. Enjoyable stay.
- Timothy (7/5): - Almost everything The room #11 everytime we got this specific room something bit us in our sleep

- Michael (8/5): - The property had several sites. It was a little confusing knowing where my room could be found.
- Kenneth (8/5): Reasonable place to stay. - Large room Nothing to dislike for the price.
- Douglas (8/5): - Needs a lot of TLC.
- Laryssa (4/5): - When I arrived, the private bathroom that was for my room was not actually in my room - I had to go out into the main hallway and down some stairs to get to it. When I went into the bathroom the first time, it hadn't been cleaned since the last person used it. (To their credit, the bathroom was cleaned as soon as I pointed that out.) Also, the hair dryer plug was coming apart and did not look safe to use. The TV didn’t always work, and the room did not have its own thermostat, so there was no way to turn down the heat. The bed was squeaky every time I moved, and I could feel the springs in it, so I couldn't sleep. I also had to haul my 45-lb suitcase up stairs to the third floor, which was rather difficult! But there was a fan to use, a fridge and a microwave in the room, which was handy, and breakfast was decent.
- Michael (6/5): - This property was hard to locate, especially at nighttime.
- Bartlett (7/5): -
- Valerie (5/5): - Room was clean. We were not advised we would not be staying at the address listed on the website. Apparently they own many buildings in various locations. The building we were in looked nothing like an inn or motel. It was just a run down unkept looking building. The room itself was clean.
- Tony (9/5): -
- Cheryl (7/5): It worked for what we needed it for. - Did not have a breakfast. Selected this location as an place to stay until our tour was available the next day. Check in was a little unorganized but we arrived very late. Didn't realize there were several buildings for lodging and had to drive to the one we were at.
- Timothy (10/5): - Everything Not a complaint
- charles (4/5): Very underwhelming - Be aware: there are several separate buildings associated with this hotel, located far apart.
We were dropped off at reception and, after checking in, had to get a second taxi to get to our room for the night.
Also, half the towels in our bathroom were HEAVILY stained.
- Rodrigo (9/5): - Even though the room was showing it's age we really liked it. It was cozy and had everything you needed. Breakfast was the best part. The area was pretty quiet I wish the parking area was paved instead of the muddy ground we parked on.
- Roxy (6/5): -
- Chengbin (10/5): - The place have really nice staff and a great check-in area. The room is also big for the price.
- Per (8/5): -
- LUIGI (3/5): Deludente - Nulla Mi è stata data una stanza in cantina . Veramente assurdo. Dopo una discussione notturna con il proprietario mi è stata data una stanza al secondo piano senza ascensore.
- Peter (5/5): never again, at least not at that price - close to highway access far from amenities, tv didn’t work, the deck was a metal grid fire escape type thing overlooking a rubbish heap and featured soggy cigarette butts floating in a plastic ashtray, generally it gave off this weird hippy vibe
- Raymond (10/5): -
- Rick (7/5): -
- Jeniffier (1/5): Beware - Nothing Nothing clean, old run down, smelled, wouldn’t stay there ever
- cabrerachris23 (8/5): - During check in - we went to the address they provided and then they send us to a diff address were we were going to sleep about one mile away from check wired right. Not knowing what they were sending us too.
- Beverly (8/5): Modest clean room at a great price, ignore the exterior. - The outside of the building and the annex building looked very dated and unusual. So we were a bit worried, but our queen suite was clean. It was a basic room and had all we needed including a full kitchen for our stay. The exterior
- Giulia (7/5): -
- Richard (8/5): - Full Kitchen, usable outdoor space Pillows, grit on floor, needs some updating
- Deborah (8/5): - The room was very nice, with free parking, and a good breakfast! Location was good, quiet, near the airport. The bed was way too soft…couldn’t sleep well.
- connie (8/5): - Breakfasts were great!
- Marites (8/5): We’re comfortable and happy . - was really good . The only thing i feel bad is the elevator is not working . and stay at 3rd floor carrying 4 heavy luggage😂. But i like the room .
- Constance (6/5): -
- Terry (8/5): -
Struttura senza nessuna sicurezza
- Charlotte (5/5): Wouldn’t recommend it. - Kitchenette and jacuzzi and quiet. The lazy boy was covered in animal hair and the floor was only semi-clean.
- George (5/5): -
- Tomáš (8/5): -
- Raymond (7/5): loved Fairbanks but would never use this property again - kitchenette area. location. property needs to be renovate. I was suppose to have a sleeper couch in room but only had a lazy boy.
- Debbie (6/5): - This place has the most beautiful selection of flowers around the walkways. Somebody sure has a green thumb The furnishings were dated. The TV only has Roku, no local news that we could find. The bedspread was old, it had torn trim which I caught my foot in several times and tripped.
- Mike (10/5): Huge Room with Walking - The room is roomy and comfortable. It has more space than my first studio apartment. We were on the third floor so the perpetually broken elevator was a minus. The place is split up into various buildings. Ours was an 11 minute walk to breakfast. We used the 5 food trucks in the adjacent parking lot instead. It was a decent quiet (other than the highway) residential area. Uber guys can find it. The staff was helpful if a bit distracted by all the other activities.
- Amy (10/5): - Awesome room
Very kind staff that answered any questions I had
- rodrigo (9/5): Good Price quality hotel - The location, the hiper friendly Staff and the local breakfast incluyes
- Justin (8/5): Great place Great staff Great location Thank you - Rooms were clean and very comfortable more parking
- Timothy (10/5): - Everything Nothing to dislike
- Marlene (10/5): Affordable and so comfortable. - So comfortable and peaceful. I didn’t want to leave.
- Victoria (9/5): Comfortable self contained studio - Good kitchen spacious comfy bed
Good staff Sometimes a bit noisy
- Tim (8/5): The lights were a bit much - The tub was awesome!
The owner was quite friendly.
The breakfasts were very tasty. They were in the main building that was a half mile away (we measured it with the Garmin) and I really liked that as it gave us a nice walk before and after breakfast. Not everybody was as pleased.
The floor was very clean. The lights were on a motion sensor that turned them off after approx 2 min if you had not moved. This included the kitchen lights where the sensor didn't reach. I almost cut myself the first time it happened. It also made it VERY hard to read in bed. We let the owner know so we hope it gets fixed.
The top of the refrigerator was filthy.
The elevator didn't work and we were on the third floor. This was only an issue when we had to move our luggage.
- Timothy (10/5): - Everything Nothing to complain about
- Stein (7/5): - This property has historic charm. Owner makes fresh goodies for breakfast each morning we stayed. The facilities are older but our apartment was set up with everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. Love that they accommodate pets and the grounds and neighborhood was great for walking and playing.
