• Luke (10/5): - We stayed at Seasons Lodge Zanzibar for 10 days for our Honeymoon and had the best time. Chris and his staff were very accommodating and always went the extra mile to help us in anyway they could whether it be booking transportation or activities at short notice. The staff were very friendly and always happy to accommodate our wants/needs including room service and answering any questions we had. The hotel was stunning with the private cottage being beautiful to stay in with the incredible sea view whilst the communal areas were fantastic with a lovely pool, various beds and seating areas and easy access to the beach. The food was great each day with the changing menu, and we enjoyed every meal we had. The hotel and area was very quiet, which suited us and what we wanted. It’s also well located on the island to be able to travel to other parts within an hour’s taxi ride easily. All in all, we had an amazing time here and would strongly recommend Seasons Lodge Zanzibar as a place to stay whilst your enjoy and explore Zanzibar.
• Lars (10/5): - Very beautiful location, me and my girlfriend had the best vacation ever. The staff is really helpful and kind, and the food here is brilliant! New meals every day! Breakfast is also very good, you can choose between alot, and they make it fresh for you! The bungalow is very beatiful, and the view is something i’ve never woken up to before, we opened the doors when the sun was rising, and WOW it was pretty! Would recommend to anyone travelling in Pairs! Bring your wife/girlfriend and she will be very happy! NB! The sellers on the beach are REALLY annoying, but that is the only downside! ENJOY ZANZIBAR

• Dorte (8/5): - Virkelig dejligt sted i rolige og smukke omgivelser. Den private have/terrasse var fantastisk og havet var smukt og skønt at bade i. Tidevandet er bare med til at gøre oplevelsen bedre. Maden var virkelig god meget varieret. Personalet var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Man skal kunne leve med, at elektriciteten går en gang imellem og vandet kan også være lidt ustabilt. Men de gør alt, hvad de kan for at løse det, så det er bare en del af charmen. De to hunde er søde, venlige og meget velopdragne. Et hyggeligt indslag, som gør steder hjemligt. Kan varmt anbefale dette sted og vil nok også vende tilbage en dag. Eneste ulempe er den manglende aircon, men vi var der også i en af varmeste perioder. Udsigt, omgivelser, mad og privathed opvejer det dog -:)
• Marco (10/5): - Struttura ottima con bungalow bellissimi direttamente sul mare con patio e spiaggia privati. Aree comuni all'aperto in cui rilassarsi e consumare i pasti bellissime. Menu vario e completo e personale disponibile. Spiaggia tranquilla e non invasa da turisti poiché nei dintorni non ci sono i grandi resort internazionali.

• Davita (8/5): - This is a great place to stay while visiting Zanzibar. The rooms are quite nice and it's great to have a little private lounging area for yourself. The shared areas are also nice, and there are games and kayaks/ SUP to use free of charge. Only downside is that the ocean has quite a bit of seaweed right in front of the resort. But there is also a pool which is nice to lounge around as well
• Philip (10/5): Beautiful and Relaxing - We had an amazing stay in this beautiful place. Seasons has a perfect atmosphere: laidback, simple, stunning setting, freindly and helpful staff. We woke and went to sleep with the sound of the Indian Ocean. The menu was varied, reasonably priced, and delicious. Best of all were the friendly staff who made us feel welcome and helped us with queries. The chalet was comfortable and perfectly simple. The atmosphere atvrhe lodge is relaxed and laidback. Whether it's a swim in the pool or sea, a walk on the beach at low tide, or just hanging out in the chalet, this was the best place to spend a few days.

• Koen (10/5): - We hebben er enorm van genoten. In het hotel konden we in alle rust genieten van de zee en van Zanzibar. Ook onze tours in het hotel regelen ging zonder problemen. Ze waren juist voor onze tweede tour ons onbijt vergeten in de frigo steken, maar ze hebben dat meer dan goed gemaakt met een verse pizza tijdens de middag als we terug kwamen. Ook het onbijt was enorm lekker, zelfde als het dinner. We hadden half pension geboekt dus genoten elke avond van een starter, main dish en dessert. en we hebben er van genoten, om zowel ons onbijt als dinner te zitten eten aan de zeekant met een prachtig uitzicht. Adembenemend. Alles was perfect geregeld, ook het personeel, heel vriendelijk, ons bed was altijd heel mooi opgemaakt en genieten van een spelletje op een goed boek op het terras aans het prive strandje aan de zee, konden we in alle rust en stilte doen. We hebben enorm genoten van dit hotel en alles erond. jammer dat onze reis er al op zit.
• David (10/5): Holiday in Zanzibar - The lodge is extremely clean and mosquito free. The balcony is a piece of private beach with strechers for reserved sunbathing. To swim you need to access the beach from the bar, which is not more than a minute walk from any room. On high tide you can dive from your balcony and then access the stairs to the bar, because the beach is gone, but on wet tide you can explore the ocean floor for over 100 meters with water up to your ankles. Even during dry season (July to Septembe) you can expect occasional showers. Don't bring your umbrella tough, or beach/pool towels though, as the hotel provides them. At first you may find the foid and beverage prices higher than in some countries in Europe, but you won't eat that well or cheaper in Stone Town. The cuisine is great, and served in generous portions. There is some music ambience at the evening but ends soon enough so everyone rests. It is an excelent place to relax the most and enjoy a paradisiac beach. It's far from other places, but I will let you judge if it is worth leaving the resort to explore Zanzibar. I'd say spending a day in Stone Town including the Prison Island tour is enough, maybe the forest if you are not taking some Safari tour in Tanzania besides your Zanzibar stay. Other than that there is no point in leaving the resort for. The most well soent time I had in Zanzibar was at the resort. Just forget the idea of living like a king in Tanzania with a few bucks/euros. There the resort has the best quality/price ratio

Das beste aber ist die individuelle Privatsphäre in den schönen, durch eine Ummauerung abgetrennten Bungalows, die ohne Airconditioning oder Kühlschrank allein durch ihre großzügige und durchdachte Anlage und den traumhaften Blick aufs Meer bestechen.

Nice quiet beach and the lodges have their own personal beach overlook yard area. The lodges are gated so it really is your own space with room and outdoor area. Les chambres sont spacieuses (il y a même un dressing) En prime, le personnel de l’hôtel est hyper accueillant, aux petits soins ; l'équipe est vraiment adorable. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel et si j'ai l'occasion de revenir sur Zanzibar je n'hésiterai pas une seconde à repartir au Seasons Lodge

The cottages var utåt sett jättefina, med egen liten altan och strandliknande område precis ovanför strandkanten. Poolområdet med bar inkl lunchmöjligheter var också bra. Tre-bäddsrummen är dålig backpackerstandard. Renligheten generellt bristande, mycket var sönder eller dåligt underhållet. Nonchalant ledning. Ligger lite off, så det krävs transport för att ta sig därifrån. Middagen var alltför dyr i relation till vad man får. Lunchalternativen och happy hour dock bra.

• Jaume (8/5): Fantástico si te alojas en una villa. - El hotel ofrece dos tipos de habitación: villas para dos personas, o triple. Esta última habitación no es nada recomendable, ya que está justo encima del edificio de recepción, bar, comedor, y lo peor, la cocina, ya que sus ruidos y olores llegan a la habitación.Por el contrario, las villas para dos personas son excelentes: amplias, decoradas como cabañas africanas, baño con bañera y vistas, todo exterior, y lo mejor es que cada una dispone de un jardín particular con vistas directas sobre el mar, y con acceso casi directo al mismo. A nivel general, la comida es fantástica, el personal muy atento, aunque algo lentos en el servicio. Es un hotel pequeño, muy agradable y perfecto si reservas las villa.

I got a free upgrade to one of the beach side rooms and it was sublime, a very dreamy vacation for a very good price. It’s a bit buggy, but they take care to spray rooms and leave spray for you. No air conditioning but it isn’t much of a problem bc the breeze at night is cool. The room is hospitable, they thought of all the details. So many places to sit and look out at the beach. Food is good and enough variety for prices. I would love to come back again.

Manager top , il répond et fait que d accomplissent toutes vos demandes ( canoë kayak, pêche, dauphins, massage, taxi...). La nourriture est fraiche et délicieuse (homard, tartare de thon, ...). Les chambres sont sobres (écologique ) et confortables et spacieuses . c est très calme et reposant même avec 2 enfants. Top niveau. Merci
• Aurélie (10/5): Hôtel chaleureux, calme, aux chambres paradisiaque - Un hôtel aux cottages individuels répartis le long de la côte avec plage individuelle, vue mer imprenable, une bibliothèque en libre service à l'accueil et dans plusieurs langues. Pas de télé, car ici tout n'est que beauté, luxe calme et volupté. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse aussi naturelle que chaleureuse, les repas sont simples mais goûteux et préparés avec des produits frais (les mangues et goyaves fraîchement découpées au petit déjeuner sont un délice!). J'y retournerais pour revivre ce séjour de rêve sans aucune hésitation malgré les 14 heures de vol :-) !!
• Fiona & Simon (10/5): Beautiful location & amazingly attentive staff - Seasons Lodge is situated on the most stunning beach on the East Coast of Zanzibar. The bungalows look out on to the ocean & the view is breathtaking. ALL the staff are so attentive but not intrusive & the food albeit is a limited menu is delicious, however by request they will conjure up anything you fancy. This is a quiet, relaxing place which is hard to come by. The beach is luxuriously quiet & rare, my partner & I had the most amazing memorable time & we will definitely return. Many thanks to all the staff at seasons lodge who made are stay simply perfect.

The staff at Seasons Lodge Zanzibar are some of the most respectful, polite, hospitable people I’ve ever met. I received queen treatment during my stay. Housekeeping was excellent. I’ll definitely tell my friends about this hotel. I want to come back ASAP.

• Foz (8/5): AMAZING LEVEL OF COMFORT WITH UNRIVALLED VIEWS - The rooms — amazing. The setting — amazing. The views — amazing. All for a reasonable price. You will feel like it is something you could easily get used to but there is one major thing that lets it down — the staff. They are friendly and welcoming but lack training and the level of English one would expect for somewhere like this. Even if you used Swahili, they still aren't that great. Pole pole (slowly slowly) is one thing but they take the biscuit. Service is painfully slow at times and attentiveness is non-existent, especially if you're trying to explain life threatening dietary requirements. The food isn't bad but again could be way better. Having said this, the staff's broad smiles just about make up for it. Housekeeping staff were phenomenal and made the room feel like new every time. On the room, it's comfortable and the view magical but it feels dated and could do with modernisation. The bath is a nice touch, though. Seasons nearly has it all but is let down by the finer details, which, if you're not too bothered, won't spoil your stay but, if you're looking for something truly special, there are plenty of other options in the vicinity although you'd likely pay more..

• Ruth (10/5): Your own private paradise - I was utterly speechless when I was first shown my cottage. The setup, decor, and amenities are truly amazing. It really does feel like you're in your own private paradise. It's a wonderful experience eating your dinner under the moonlight in a veranda overlooking the water and falling asleep to the sounds of the sea. The food was delicious, staff were friendly and hospitable, and the views were spectacular. I was so sad when I had to leave, but I would travel to Zanzibar just so that I could stay here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Lodge with direct sea-view - I had a great stay at Seasons Lodge, a room/villa with direct sea-view and private terrace. Its a very calm place - very recommendable if you wish to relax with nothing around, just the ocean... I loved it. For readers: there are a lot of books in the hotel to read during your stay, so you do not have upload your luggage with them. Wifi is provided; breakfast is nice with direct sea-view as well, if you wish to lunch or dinner you have to order from the menu, it is not too expensive. But take some snacks and water with you before you arrive to the lodge, if possible, as there is no supermarket around. Staff is nice and friendly. For people wanting to dive - maybe ask before, as there is strong tide in this area.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Very relaxing in an idyllic setting. The ocean view from our bungalow was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. An ideal location if all you want to do is relax. But also easy access to snorkelling, diving, kayaking and bike riding. The only slight negative is that the proximity of the bungalows to the high tide mark means that ocean noise can potentially interfere with sleep, at high tide. Overall, highly recommended.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Tolle Anlage, super Blick - Sehr nettes Team. Traumhafter Blick vom Bungalow aus. Lecker Essen, schön eingerichtet. Im Bad sollte man die Armaturen neu machen und schauen, wie man Druck auf die Dusche bekommt. Aber wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
